Location is brilliant and we had a lovely room with fantastic views. Staff were fantastic and professional ensuring we had a fabulous stay. We have stayed in lots of premier inns this is one of the best we have stayed we will be back
This is one of the best premier inns we’ve stayed in. Stayed 1 adult and 2 kids. Location was fantastic. Waterloo station isn’t far and tube station across the street. It’s away from the major hustle and bustle of the city but has plenty of restaurants along the street beside the hotel which was nice to sit out and enjoy in the evening. It was great to have the outdoor space at the hotel too as the weather was warm when we went. The kids could play outside. I would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Hotel is in a good central location with only a 3 minute walk to Southwark tube station. Hotel was clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff. Paid for breakfast in advance but unfortunately there was a 40 minute wait each morning and even though busy the hot selection was cold and not very appealing and the pastries were not fresh so If I was to stay there again I would not pay for breakfast and go down the road instead.
The room wasn’t very clean and I found a dirty sock down the side of a cabinet! The pillows were flat and the mattress very uncomfortable. Very disappointing stay for the money we paid. Not normally what I expect from Premier Inn and will not be returning to this hotel.
great location. clean warm comfortable room. plenty of tea/coffee with extra easily collected from reception... no need to ask easy check inn and great check out time. luggage can be left at reception for a donation
Excellent location, spacious rooms and the most comfortable bed ever!!! Bathroom clean and up to date. Room 135 was very quiet and we did not experience any noise, from inside or out.
Very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Good dark room and quiet. I've stayed here many times for Remembrance parade in London as a veteran. Next year the price increase is over 30% which I find unacceptable.
Great place to stay very clean and tidy lovely polite staff staff lovely breakfast. Great location 10 minute walk from Waterloo Station 5 minute walk to Southwark underground station happy days
Great location near Southwark Station or slightly longer walk to Waterloo. Friendly staff, comfy bed, clean room. Luggage room came in handy on our last day and a few vending machines for drinks/snacks. Some nice cafes and restaurants nearby as well as a small supermarket.
Excellent stay at this location. It was close to a metro and had all of the Premier Inn Hallmark characteristics of quality including an excellent breakfast buffet, fantastic service and a super clean and comfortable room which was also quiet. I've stayed at a number of these hotels in the UK and they are all top notch. Highly recommended.
Absolutely Lovely stay with the family, staff were super friendly throughout, we were a bit apprehensive with being in the basement, however it was so quiet and peaceful, room was clean and spacious, we will definitely return, hopefully next summer
Booked Southwark station to surprise my wife to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, I called a couple of weeks before to check if we could leave our bags before 3pm and I must of mention the reason for our stay, because when we checked in, a bottle of prosecco and a beautiful note was waiting for us in the room. Icing on the cake, Thank you to all the staff for making this a memorable stay.
We spent three nights. in this Premier Inn over the Remembrance weekend and would certainly stay here again. It is a 'usual' Premier Inn (and I mean that in a positive way), with the same standards found in all the other PI hotels in the chain, clean, comfortable, quiet with an adjoining bar/restaurant and good breakfasts etc. Where this hotel stood out was its location... a brief walk from Southwark (and Waterloo East) tube stations, a thirty minute walk to Westminster etc. and all with good cafe's, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The staff were friendly and helpful (as usual) and all at a reasonable price.
Fairly great experience ,good location but didnt like that we were underground and could not view anything .Otherwise my kids loved it and the breakfast was super great!
Nice enough place in a good area, staff pleasant. What frustrates is they have HDMI connectors for the TV... but you can't use them because they are disabled in the TV management settings which require a code. This is not explained anywhere and makes the HDMI socket a pointless waste of time. Customer Services did not want to handle my complaint. They told me I could phone the hotel manager if I wanted to. Very, very poor complaint handling.
Standard Premier Inn hotel, located a few mins from Southwark tube station in a well connected part of London. Room wasn't the cleanest, could have run a hoover over the floor again and the light switch was crusty. Suspect Premier Inn are cutting back on cleaning. Allocated a dingy basement room, new hotel with basement rooms. Served our purpose as we only staying one night and in November it gets dark fairly early. Breakfast the next morning was busy but fresh. All in all, an okay stay, let down by not being the cleanest, no hand towels and basement rooms. Better hotels in this part of London
This is the second time we have stayed at the Southwark Station Premier Inn, it’s great location to the station and some brilliant places to eat make it the perfect location for that city break. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff very helpful and the bar/restaurant is great for when you just want to chill.
Excellent value. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, particularly reception. Couldn’t fault it for the price we paid. Breakfast was good value and decent enough. Location was good.
Top Lage I Ruhig I Alle Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß erreichbar I U-Bahn gleich um die Ecke I Hotel und Zimmer ausreichend für London-Trip in Familie I TOP Frühstück
Helt grei frokost, lite utvalg i pålegg, men veldig godt utvalg i "varmretter" ellers.
Super slow WiFi that requires login, even fake data works, so it is only to collect data. ned mattress was way to soft.
Close to many restaurants and clean
Room was clean & comfy.
The area was walkable. A short walk to the train station and the London Eye. The rooms were clean but small. I preferred the restaurant for lunch and dinner over breakfast. I would stay again.
Very clean
A nice place to stay, bear Waterloo station that beings you everywhere
Everything was well maintained and the bed was comfy
We had a really nice stay at this hotel and the staff was very friendly and serviceminded, ecpecially Robbie who did his very best to manage that the two rooms we booked for our family was situated close to eachother. It is possible to walk to Tate Modern, St Pauls cathedral, Big Ben, London Eye
Great location, easy walk to restaurants and the London Eye. Would definitely stay there again.
Staff helpful Breakfast very good
For a quick stopover, this place works well — it feels a bit like a Holiday Inn. Everything was clean, the rooms were vacuumed and well maintained, and overall the property was kept tidy. The staff were also very friendly and easygoing, which made the stay pleasant. If you just need a place to stay for a night or two while passing through, it’s a good option.
The breakfast is really good
Good
Struttura ben tenuta, accogliente, colazione abbondante, posizione strategica
I have a reservation for 7 rooms, the lady tried to give me all in under ground (-1) and ground floor at check in(3pm), after my strive for, I still got two rooms on ground floor on restaurant building that was dark and dirty hallways, it was no breakfast provided for two days and no hot water one night during my 7 days stay.
Nice and calm area. It works fine with breakfast in a separate building. Staff very friendly. One single remark. Was firmly told that one towel is the standard for three people for three nights! After, extras were provided. Liked our stay overall.
The stay was good and simple. It was just a plain hotel with air conditioner and clean.
Great property at an excellent location for sightseeing London. We were first-timers in London with 2 kids, and Premier Inn Southwark was great for us in terms of hotel room size, great breakfast selection and very convenient location. Highly recommended
No hot water for almost 3 of 5 days. Internet not working at all, so had to use telephone all trip. Besides that. Nice people working there.
Hotel a little tired. We arrived 1 hour early, our room was ready but we were charged an additional £15 for the privilege!! I would understand if we arrived 6 hours early but 1 hour when our room was available - could have not taken but a hassle to wait around for an hour. Location is great but there are better options nearby.
Staff was very friendly! Me, my sister and her children had the room closest to the restaurant and had no noise complaints whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Hotel was clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would recommend area as very convenient to walk and close to tube station.
Internet access was poor. There was no shampoo or body wash
it was great! also brackfast was ausom
Our stay at the hotel was excellent! The room was big enough for 3 of us, clean and quiet.
Convenient location with two metro stations walking distance. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Great breakfast, worth to add to reservation.
No fitness facilities
Ludicrous problems right from the start. Got my check-in details wrong, people put into the wrong rooms. Early check-in, which was confirmed and paid for, was DISALLOWED by the check-in staff. Staff were apathetic and even sarcastic, asking, "Should I just cancel your reservation, then?" Room was almost impassable due to the three (!) beds. NO breakfast available, even though it says so here. (You are graciously allowed to walk across the street and buy breakfast at an overpriced restaurant). By the way, hotel has a basement floor (?) into which I was placed. Endless narrow winding hallways with no A/C. Awful hotel. Outrageous for the money. WILL NEVER RETURN.
Premium Inn Southwark was very clean and very close to the underground. We would come back
.
Close to the station but long path to th
We liked the family and LGBTQ friendly atmosphere as well as it being affordable in the center of London. We only had one small inconvenience that some breakfast options required warming but there were lines and we were on a time crunch.
Ottima posizione, rapporto qualità-prezzo buona
This place has no fridge, which was a challenge as we were traveling with a 2-year-old who needs milk before bed and first thing in the morning. We struggled with that during our stay. The hotel also doesn’t have a safe. The hairdryer is located in the bedroom, so I couldn’t use it at night while my kids were sleeping. Additionally, the shower had visible mold, which was concerning. The location is good, it’s close to a lot main attractions.
Hôtel was comfortable and our group loved the hot continental breakfast! The restaurant staff was the best! The front desk/hotel staff was ok. Be warned: this hotel does a fire alarm check every Monday! There is a warning in the elevator but our group was in the restaurant side of hotel so elevator was never used - no warning ever given and I was traveling with 11 special needs kids… a lot of chaos could have been avoided had the front desk had better communication and more-willing-to-help attitudes. The area is very nice! Very convenient tesco and restaurants near by, but a bit far to sights.
Recently, my family of four stayed at this hotel for three days. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed 3 beds rather than our regular two. However, one of the beds was missing a headstand which made it slightly uncomfortable for one of our family members. Disregarding the beds, the room was pretty spacious and included a TV in order to entertain ourselves. Sanitary wise, it was okay. We noticed that the toilet paper seemed dirty and pherhaps priviously wet before. Outside of the toilets, our room was decently sanitary. One of the things we enjoyed was that our hotel was very close to the subway for easy transportain. Overall, a decent experience for my family and I.
Colazione abbondante e vicinanza stazione metro
The only remark is that we had a family room for 4 but only 2 towels (1 small and 1 large)
Very good location. Several undergrounds reachable in a few minutes. Friendly staff in the breakfast restaurant. Reception friendly. But! No room service despite booking. We stayed there for 4 nights. We ran out of toilet paper and the bins were overflowing. We had to collect towels and toilet paper from reception. In a hotel room for 220 pounds per night. This is not acceptable. Lots of mould in the bathroom shower. That's not possible! Positive: Breakfast for young people up to 17 years free of charge. Full breakfast for adults only 12 pounds.
enough space, good customer service, 24 hours front desk, good lifts and a great restaurant. my family love it
Never ever Premier Inn again !! This Hotel gave me a terrible experience by not allowing me to check-in for my pre-paid trip through Expedia. The front desk person and lady manager refused my check-in because I had 3 kids even though I booked a family quadruple room. She showed me the fine print details in booking conditions that only 2 kids are allowed, and she was not at helpful in getting a resolution to our problem by making another room available other than insisting her fine print rules when we had already reached the Hotel with our luggage. We ended up booking another Hotel on the fly (Thanks to Technology) and they didn't have any issue accommodating us in a room. I will fight to get to my last penny they charged from my card. Interesting this Hotel website has a whole page dedicated to list how family friendly they are!! Those who are prepaying these folks beware. They absolutely don't care about customer when you have an issue!!
Had walk across the street to eat meals, no room service, no wash clothes to wash my face, and no phone. If we needed anything we had to go to the lobby and request it.
Well located. Near a street with lots of food options and close to most big city landmarks.
.
Lugar tranquilo y bien ubicado.
Such a great hotel. Restaurants and the tube nearby. Walk or ride the tube to major site seeing locations. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.
