Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport by IHG

Amazing stay! Everything was fresh and new. Will definitely stay again.

Great breakfast options! Nice staff.

Great location if u wanna be around this airport with easy access to terminals, friendly and helpful staff, I especially wanna thank Awan at the concierge who was ultra helpful and nice 🙏

Very close to terminal only a short undercover walk

Good stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent dinner and breakfast selection. Some rooms are very far from the lift lobby but fortunately the hotel offers trolleys to bring luggage to the rooms and airport terminals. Wish there was coffee and not only tea provided in the rooms.

Great hotel

Perfect location with walking distance to airport terminals. However rooms smell of cigarette smoke.

Wide and comfortable room. Position is very strategic if you have to take a flight in early morning.

Too pricey!

Very close to airport.

Accessible within the airport complex, from terminal to hotel not a single second to be exposed to the elements. Though it's such a big airport, took me a while and walking back and forth to find the hotel entrance. Signage could be a bit better and clearer. Other than that, no complaints.

Within walking distance to the airport terminal, great place to rest and relax after long day of flying. My daughter loved the kids themed room.

Amazing new hotel, about a 20 minutes indoor walk to the check in counter. Rooms are immaculate, thought through and really modern. Only downside was that I had a room really far from the lift and rolling a trolley bag over the high friction carpet for 5 mins was really exhausting.

Between the terminals at the airport, easy covered walk to check-in

Holiday Inn is a newly built hotel at Pudong Airport which is 5 mins walk from T2. It is extremely convenient. A good airport hotel and will come back if I have an early flight to catch.

Staff is polite when checking in/out. Room is clean, good condition. Close to airport

Excellent facilities

The hotel itself was clean and everything looked great, but unfortunately the service was really poor. Instead of feeling welcome, I felt like a burden staying here. That ruined what could have been a much better experience.

沒有

You simply can't beat the location if transferring through Pudong airport ! And very well managed facility.

Friendly staff, modern facilities and a nice stay overall. Would stay again if the need arises.

Good service and friendly staff

Hotel was great and everything you’d expect from Holiday Inn. One not of caution is that it is not cancellable without 100% charge. I booked through Expedia and apparently I had the wrong date selected, I think it reset when I hit the back button and I didn’t notice right away. I did notice within 24 hours of booking and when I went to correct, they charged 100% of the cancelled date, even though it was more than 3 months out. This is not Expedia, as I have cancelled many hotels and received 100% credit, this is on holiday inn. Other than that hotel was great other than the check inn desk where it was very hot and humid when waiting in line. Not a great first impression, but everything else was great!

Ideal hotel for travel in / out of Shanghai Pudong airport. The hotel is inside the airport and it takes a 10 minutes walk to either terminal along the well airconditioned corridors, which are inside the airport structure. You can take a cart from the baggage claim to your room door and also there are carts in the hotel to load your luggage and walk to the checkin area. The soundproofing is excellent, I sleep very well despite being sensitive to noise. Clean, comfortable rooms, USA business standard. Lots of breakfast options and their restaurant is open for lunch and dinner too, long convenient hours.

Not great - noisy room - would not stay again

Nice staff, very helpful

unit is too far away from the elevator

Nice hotel very close to the airport

Fair and convenient. Helpful staff.

Convenient location, lot of dining and shopping options. Friendly and helpful staff.

New girl connected directly to terminal one. Small eateries along the way between the girl and terminal. Very friendly staff, modern furnishings. Excellent stay for the price and convenience.

very convenient, underground walking to the airport. very well designed hotel and very good bathroom and multifunctional toilet

S a fe

It’s convenient to access from airport. And reception staff is very kind.

Super stay.

Very convenient, walk indoor to the terminal! Room is newly renovated and nice, but the soundproofing effort of the room is poor.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Flughafen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Perfect for a stopover

Ich war eine Nacht im Hotel. Liegt praktisch im Flughafen. Stylish, modern und sehr komfortabel.

Very nice hotel with helpful and caring staff.

Super convenient for airport overnight Room is very small in comparison Food basic , dinner choice limited Breakfast good Check in queue was long

It's far from T2 by walk, T1 is closer. Convenient for family trips, easy to get to subway. Breakfast has many choices.

It’s a beautiful property very conveniently located at the airport. You do not need any transportation, you just walk. The customer service is excellent!, the room is fantastic! Very modern, exceptionally clean! Fabulous experience overall!!!

Nice place to stay at the airport

The hotel opened in May 2025. Brand new. Staff was friendly, and room was clean. Food was good.

Shanghai city centre to airport could be an hour (or more at rush hours). This hotel is ideally located for overnight stay for catching flight next morning. Good sound proved rooms

Very clean and comfortable!

Very clean, brand new hotel. Recommended for long layovers

Great hotel for a layover or early flight. Free fruit at check in although it was busy and took a little while. The only negative was the long walk to the room, but the room was excellent when I finally got there.

Brand new facility, it seems. Connected to both terminal buildings via skywalk only within ten minutes. Very good professional receptionists at check in and friendly staffs all around the hotel. Beautiful and clean rooms worth value for money. AC and shower is good, shower toilet is excellent. Dining facility is well prepared and priced. The breakfast is satisfactory - means well balanced western and Chinese menu. Because it is situated near airport railway, the train sounds all the time but hotel provides curtesy earplug, that is nice! I had a very good transit stay at this hotel.

Good location

Alles top!

Great

We loved our stay. The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the airport, the beds are very confortable, everything is modern and clean. The staff is very helpfull. We received a bag of fresh fruits upon our arrival. We would stay there again when visiting Shanghai.

New and very clean

Nice clean airport hotel
