Great boutique hotel! Rooms and pool area are clean and tastefully decorated. Close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Street parking was very easy.

Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast buffet. The bed was very comfortable. The front staff was very helpful in seeing sites outside of Évora. The hotel is in walking distance of sites in Evora.

The hotel was perfect. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was in a great location, central to everything. The breakfast had many options and was very good. We can only say nice things about this hotel.

Well located for city centre. A recent conversion of part of an old building. Pool area attractive but they insist on playing music in the background. Room E4 was noisy as part of a garage conversion with the rear bedroom wall adjacent to busy cobbled road. Car noise was excessive at times. The overall site is attractive and modern but the quality of building work and materials is average and already showing wear and tear in places 7 months after opening. Staff helpful. Good breakfast. No other facilities. Overall good but not great.

Excellent converted manor house. The staff from check in to service were fantastic. After a busy day, a bottle of rose served to us at the poolside. Could not have been better.

Wonderful property. Hotel used to be a huge home for a family and has been converted into a hotel. It is unique and beautiful. Every staff member was excellent - friendly, professional and always available. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast delicious and always filled. The pool area was a great space for relaxing and although I didn't go in the pool, it was clean and others really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - right in the old town and walkable for all the sights. We picked the perfect hotel for our Evora visit.

O hotel é novo e fica num casarão todo reformado com muito bom gosto e sofisticação. Destaque para a piscina externa, com música lounge, perfeita para se refrescar no final de um dia de caminhadas sob o calor do verão. O café da manhã é muito bom, com sucos, frios e boa variedade de frutas e frios da região. Ainda servem lanches no almoço a pedido. Estacionamento nas ruas ao redor é pago, mas possível de encontrar vaga dentro da muralha. Opção deixar fora da muralha a custo zero e a 3min de caminhada apenas. O estúdio que ficamos é bem amplo, cozinha bem equipada, eles repõem água diariamente sem custo e cápsulas de café expresso. Fica a alguns passos da capela dos ossos e da praça do Giraldo. Dá para fazer tudo à pé. O concierge ainda reservou degustação em vinícolas e indicou bons restaurantes. Tivemos momentos muito agradáveis no Cicioso. Voltaremos com certeza!

My wife and I are frequent travelers, mainly in the US, Central America or Europe. We like small, well-located, vernacular hotels. Bonus points for good value for our money (and, we don’t shoot for the high priced places). This hotel, especially their staff and spirit, nailed it. Do yourself a favor and hit the reservation button - send me a thank you note later!

Quaint property in a convenient location in Evora. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious with a kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area. We had a huge sitting area outside shared with one other suite overlooking the pool and courtyard.

This is such a beautifully redone property! The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for walking to sites, shopping and food.

This place is perfect, beautiful and convenient! We loved every moment of being at this lovely hotel and it was sad to leave such a marvelous property. Also, it was so convenient to walk to all of the sites of Evora in less than 10/15 minutes each. The chapel of bones and cathedral is around the corner - as well as the peacock park!

The boutique hotel is a little gem! An old house completely renovated with taste and ideally located. The staff is particularly helpful and smiling. A faultless one!

Estávamos em Lua de Mel e este foi o primeiro hotel que ficamos, o melhor de toda a viagem, fomos muito bem atendidos, o quarto era extremamente confortável, o ambiente tinha um aroma muito bom, café da manhã também incrível. Com certeza voltaremos, o gerente/diretor Dario nos recebeu com muita gentileza.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at CICIOSO. Very luxurious and beautiful, we wish we could have stayed a couple more nights. Very comfortable beds and linens. Shower was outstanding, excellent breakfast and restaurant recommendation. One of my most favorite hotel stays ever.

Would return today if my schedule allowed... Best nights stay on our week's trip!

Passamos apenas uma noite no hotel, porém a experiência foi muito positiva: a recepção super agradável feita por um dos funcionários que nos explicou sobre tudo de maneira simples e clara, e ainda fez um tour pelas instalações. O quarto muito confortável, com decoração impecável, banheiro moderno e limpíssimo. Foi tudo sensacional e ainda um café da manhã com opções variadas e delicioso. A localização do hotel é perfeita pra passeios a pé pelos pontos turísticos do centro histórico.

It is a beautiful property with a very attentive staff. It is a historic family home renovated to be a small (15-room) boutique hotel with lovely amenities and a staff that wants to please—easy walking distance to the town square, sites, and restaurants.

This wonderful boutique hotel has only recently opened and was a former residence, in the heart of Évora. We enjoyed a 2 night stay and could not fault it. The staff were so lovely and every aspect of this hotel excelled! Our room was enormous, with a little Juliette balcony. Beautiful sheets and towels. A nice pool area with loungers but the weather didn't oblige! Our stay included breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay!

A delightful boutique hotel. Exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated. the cherry on the cake was the extreme support from Gonzalo on the front desk who could not have been more accommodating and supportive. Every hotel needs a hundred Gonzalos to care for guests in the manner inn which he took care of us. Nothing was too much trouble. He made the stay even more special.
