the pool area was tired, beds could be hired from reception, the one got was broken, the day after our arrival was a national holiday so reception was closed and could not replace the bed.

The bed in the main bedroom was very small for a double. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in. I didn’t like the pillows as they were sausage shaped and uncomfortable to sleep on. No AC in the bedroom, it was very hot at night. There was a ceiling fan which helped a bit. There is quite a steep walk up a hill from where all the restaurants etc are. Was a bit tiresome after a few days especially in the heat. There are no lounging chairs by the pool, you have to rent them by the day or weekly. Also no beach towels provided. It’s a beach holiday, who takes a beach towel with them? Also it would be nice to have a small amount of dishwashing liquid provided just until you can get the the supermarket.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Our 1st impressions of the apartment was that it was very clean, spacious and well equipped. In the morning once we got our bearings we discovered that we were in a good location, 10 min walk to nearest beach and small parade of restaurants, bars and shops and a decent 20 min walk along the boardwalk on the seafront takes you into La Cala De Mijas. The complex itself was nice and quiet and well maintained with a lovely swimming pool area. We had a ground floor garden apartment which was nice and private. We arrived late at night so had to do the automatic check-in, which was easy to do but would have been easier if we had chosen English as the language! Anyway, we muddled through the Spanish translation and collected our keys and map of the complex and we found our apartment quite easily even though it was 2 am in the morning. There was plenty of towels, complementary toiletries, tea, coffee, wine and water which was very welcome. The staff are friendly and very responsive to any requests.
The only thing we found uncomfortable was no air con in the bedrooms, the staff do supply a stand up fan but the bedrooms got really warm so sleep was abit of an issue. The cooking hob was abit lame but we ate out every evening so wasn’t a big issue for us, oh and don’t plug the kettle in the same socket as the boiler as it trips the electrics plug it in somewhere else.

Leger bémol concernant le stationnement au sein de l’établissement, la ruelle est très étroite (compliqué pour les gros véhicules)… Par ailleurs, difficile d’accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to the restaurants and then you could go over the flyover to the beach. First and last time visiting Cala Mijas, nothing about it would see us coming back when compared to Estepona and other places along the coast.
Apartment was dated, clean but just ok. First time we took a shower water leaked through the adjacent wall. 😬 The staff were very quick in fixing the problem, just meant for rest of our stay was unsightly hole in wall. The pool need refreshing lots of white paint coming off the side and getting on your feet. Most annoying aspect of our garden apartment was that the patio door wouldn't open fully to access outside, you had to try and pull the sofa back to get it open all the way. Also only had AC in the front room, bedrooms none.

Estacionamento apertado. Poderia ter cortinas mais grossas (black out) na sala e na janela entre a cozinha e a sala, para não entrar sol muito cedo. As fotos são genéricas de vários apartamentos, achei que teria uma vista melhor do mar.

Wyposażenie wystarczające na codzienne potrzeby. Duży i zadbany basen. Rezerwacja dokonana już w lutym, pobyt pod koniec lipca. Za tą cenę po prostu super.
Można tam spotkać mrówki ale nie ma karaluchów. Jeżeli nie zostawi się resztek jedzenia w dostępnym miejscu to ograniczy ich ilość do minimum. Są bardzo małe i niegroźne. Naprawdę, jeżeli utrzymamy czystość rzadko je spotkamy.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Vi måtte bestille nytt overnattingssted siden vår opprinnelige hadde plutselig vannlekkasje. Vi bestilte her etter å ha sett gode tilbakemeldinger, men vi opplevde det ikkje sånn. Når vi sjekket inn fant vi ein stor kakerlakk i dusjen, den hadde nok lagt lenge for det var merke etter den vi vasket vekk, doen var brun nede i så denne måtte vaskes og, det var rar lukt i leiligheten og terassedøren var ødelagt lås på. Kjøkkenet var utdatert og ikkje som bildene viste. Vi gikk for å sjekke ut og skulle då få refundert. Etterpå nekter plassen å refundere og mener alt var fint, de sluttet og å svare på forespørsel. Er og skuffet over hvor lite hjelp det var å få fra booking, både med den vi skulle sjekket inn i og denne. Vi venter endå på svar om å få refundert når vi ikkje overnattet her, vi sjekket ut med en gang. Ventet med tilbakemelding her så alle parter fikk mulighet å ordne opp, men de har endå ikkje ordnet opp.

The sound proofing wasn't that good, you could hear people in other apartments quite clearly, but saying that it was quiet at night.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Przestronny apartament. Wyposażony, było nawet żelazko i czajnik, pralka. Czysto. Ładna łazienka. Wszystko zależy, jaki pokój się dostanie, bo chyba w innych było inaczej i być może lepiej. Parking! Blisko plaży i knajpek. Lidl też blisko. Wygodne łóżka, w Hiszpanii czy we Włoszech zawsze są prześcieradła, a nie kołdry, ale tutaj nawet były kołdry w szafie, gdyby komuś było zimno.
Bardzo brzydki zapach z łazienki, cały czas mocno śmierdziało kanalizacją, to było dość przeszkadzające. Ogromna liczba mrówek, chodziły po jedzeniu, wszystko trzeba było mieć pochowane, ale i tak wchodziły do chleba i żywności. Klimatyzator tylko w salonie, co może niektórym nie pasować, ale był też wiatrak. Przy kilku włączonych sprzętach wyłączały się korki, ale skrzynka jest na szczęście w korytarzu.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026The location is convenient for local bars and restaurants and accessing the main town of La Cala and supermarkets. Our garden room accomodation gave us two means of egress and ingress although the patio door could only be opened from the inside. We had one day of maid service too which was a pleasant surprise. Access to the interior road for the hire car was also a bonus. Decent wi fi and plentiful hot water with the air con unit also maintaining a comfortable environment.
Bedroom fittings/ wardrobes were spacious but a little scruffy, also the walls similarly would benefit from a repaint. The main access door had a flimsy lock and looked like it may have been subject to attempted break ins. The kitchen units and worktop also were in a worn state. Whilst there were plenty of crockery and utensils, the provision of a kettle, a microwave, a coffee percolater, a toaster and a worktop mounted portable oven was somewhat nullified by there only been one socket outlet, bizarrley, there were four socket outlets in the bathroom with the hairdryer mounted over the sink.

El tema del check in es insoportable . Te envían un link lo completas con escaneo de todos los documentos , al llegar te hacen completar de nuevo y escanear, no tuvimos contacto con ningún personal. Llegamos un fin de semana y entiendo que no haya gente trabajando pero muy complejo todo el tema de recoger llaves y sobre todo la documentación.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Great comfortable placement near Lidl, bus stops, and not far from the sea. The apartment was big, and the kitchen had all the facilities to cook. The terrace was nice, big, with bitchen chairs. The rooms had comfortable wardrobes. So for the money, it was great, and we had a lovely 5 days there!
It is just the whole building, and the rooms are pretty old, a bit not cozy

Reviewed May 20, 2026Ubytovani jsme vyuzili v dubnu-v te dobe prijemna klidna lokalita. Pokud jde o pohodli a cistotu,nikoliv o luxus, pak ubytovani zcela plni ocekavani. Ocenili jsme predzahradku,kterou maji nektere z apartmanu.Vzdalenost k mori do 10 min, v dochazkove vzdalenosti mensi obchod se smisenym zbozim. Prijemnou prochazkou po plazove promenade az do centra,ktere bylo v te dobe klidne. Bazen i jeho okoli velice dobre udrzovany. Jako bonus TV s programy v ruznych jazycich,vc. ceskeho. Rozhodne bychom vyuzili znovu.

Reviewed May 6, 2026El apartamento era muy amplio, con grandes espacios,cocina totalmente equipada y detalles que no tienen en casi ningún otro lado ( como que pongan el estropajo nuevo junto con el lavavajillas, bolsas de basura de sobra, filtros para el café o haya menaje de sobra para 6 personas ). La amabilidad del personal con el detalle de bienvenida, a la hora de explicar que opciones había cerca para conocer o lo tranquilo que es el alojamiento hacen que se plantee uno volver sin duda.
Lo único que menos nos gustó fue la dureza del colchón, que se notaban los muelles y no descansamos tanto por ese motivo. Con otro tipo de dureza en el colchón hubiese sido una estancia perfecta.
