Not a quiet hotel. The rooftop bar is marketed to non Guests. We were kept awake at 1am on a Saturday with people laughing and talking coming out of the bar and down the nearby echoey staircase. We could also hear people in reception and staff moving things in the dining room above us. Shower in standard room tiny, don’t book unless you are slim. No space to keep Toiletries and some towels were pretty thin. €16 for a GNT and €12 for a standard glass of wine felt high.

Posizione ottima. Terrazza bellissima. Camera piccola ma pulitissima e confortevole. Letto e cuscini comodissimi. Silenzioso.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura in agosto, ci hanno dato una stanza che al massimo poteva andar bene come magazzino, era posizionata al piano terra tra due porte tagliafuco da cui entravano e uscivano i camerieri per andare sul terrazzo dove c'era musica a volume da discoteca e di fronte c'era uno stanzino in cui andavano i camerieri per preparare caffè e altro. Rumori allucinanti fino alle due di notte. Era evidentemente una stanza da non vendere e mi sto limitando

Nothing at all

The room was not cleaned after the former guest. Bathroom / shower not cleaned, the shower floods the room too. The room is not well made, random nails on the top of the bed (nothing hanging from it ) Chipped nightstands and random objects of the previous visitor was found underneath the bed . Contacted the hotel about it and got no compensation nor explanation.. told me to leave a bad review if I wish and that’s it

A kert, amin keresztül pár perc volt a sétáló utca. Nagyon kényelmes volt az ágy.

A fürdőszoba üveg ajtaja. Be lehet látni, hogy az ember éppen mit csinál ott. Pl. Ül a WC-n vagy meztelen-e? Nincs parkoló csak egy pár. Elviszik az autót valahova és ha szükséged van rá, várni kell 5-10 percet, hogy visszahozzák. Este már ki sem tudtunk venni a kocsiból semmit, csak reggel, amikor visszahozták. 25 eurót kértek egy éjszakára. A mi teraszunk nagy volt, de a bútorra kint ráférne egy csere.

The room is very poorly soundproofed. In addition, it was located right next to the stairs. The bathroom is very very small, the wardrobe smells of mold the blanket also, and the pillows were not comfortable at all.

Colazione italiana quasi discriminata con cornettini piccoli quasi mignon. Una struttura di tale portata situata in Sicilia penso prima debba mettere a disposizione il massimo della scelta dei prodotti tipici locali quali granita brioche ecc ecc e poi il resto senza dubbio. Ma gli italiani sempre discriminati. E non va bene.

I liked the breakfast and the staff

The hotel is situated high on a hill away from the main flow of the town and shops. It is a 100 steps down and back up to go from the hotel to the main street. The room was overall small with a very tight shower. The walls were done in a plaster which was not finished or smooth. It gave the impression of a commercial concrete structure even though the hotel went out of the way to put a face of elegance and class.

Struttura molto accogliente, il terrazzino della stanza e lo Sky bar sono davvero un valore aggiunto, con vista sull’Etna!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Continental in Taormina and would happily recommend it. The hotel is lovely, exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Our room was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, with a very good and ample choice of food. The hotel is also accessible by car, which is a definite advantage in Taormina. Its location, however, is something guests with reduced mobility or anyone who finds prolonged walking or climbing stairs difficult should be aware of. The hotel is situated on the hillside just behind Piazza Duomo near Porta Catania, which is quite central once you are in Taormina, and you use the hotel's garden exit/entrance. This route involves approximately 100 steps up to the garden entrance, which we have found relatively easy to manage, since the rest of the walk was mostly flat. Hotel Continental was an excellent choice. Will be back!

We wish the hotel had told us beforehand to use the garden entrance when carrying luggages, if walking to the hotel. The approximately 100 steps up to the garden entrance (used after check-in) were relatively easy to manage compared to the very steep stairways that Google Maps directed us to take from the city centre! Knowing about the garden route from the beginning would have made things much easier.

Location and staff are excellent, the view on the terrace was a biggest draw, especially whilst Etna was erupting at night! Short walk to the main strip, the room was basic and small, but we had a great view over looking the town and volcano.

The bathroom was small, and car park a bit of a walk and expensive.

El hotel está bien, pero la ducha es excesivamente pequeña. Nuestra habitación estaba junto a la terraza y hasta las 23:30 h la música en la terraza hacía vibrar los cristales, siendo imposible descansar; pese a avisar en recepción, no nos dieron ninguna solución. Por el precio pagado, nos dejó una sensación final bastante negativa.

Mi ha colpita l'accoglienza e la gentilezza della receptionist, la posizione spettacolare e comodissima per visitare il centro, e la pulizia e la cura della struttura in generale ed in particolare della camera.

We so enjoyed our time at the Continenatl Hotel. The location was very good, very close to the main street of Taomina. There are some steps to climb when you return to the hotel but we did not find them to be a burden. The rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view of the area and especially Mt Etna. We enjoyed eating there as well. Great buffet breakfast with a large selection of foods. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff very helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed being there, the hotel was at the top side of the main street, so it was about a 15 minute walk to the bus station, that was the only inconvenience and we did not find it to be an issue as we enjoyed the walking and seeing all the beautiful stores.

Tutto, tutto il personale è stato gentilissimo con noi ed il nostro cagnolino. Complimenti allo staff, siamo stati benissimo e sicuramente consiglio la struttura

Hicimos un upgrade a las habitaciones nuevas y estaban bien eran de buen tamaño al igual que el baño. El roof top era muy bonito.

Es un hotel muy agradable, con unas vistas fabulosas, tanto desde la habitación como desde la hermosa terraza exterior del restaurante. Es muy recomendable para cenar por la noche viendo las vistas de la ciudad de Taormina. al acudir en vehículo alquilado es muy agradable encontrar reservada la plaza de parking, para tener acceso directo.

The location was perfect, walk down a few steps and you are right on the main corso. Perfect location in the center of town.

My room was an economy room and it was very dated and not that clean. My shower was 2x2, very small. Not up to the standards of Taormina, but it was affordable so for the price I paid I can’t really say it wasn’t worth it.

Everything!! My friend and I were so satisfied with the accommodation. The location is amazing - very close to the city center. Also the room was super clean, and we had terrace which was great. The breakfast was delicious with many options. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Sinceramente, visto il prezzo ci aspettavamo di più.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte all'Hotel Continental spendendo una cifra decisamente sproporzionata per lo stato reale della struttura. Ci aspettavamo molto di più. La camera assegnata è risultata decisamente datata negli arredi, priva di balcone e con infissi delle finestre vecchi. La nota a mio avviso più dolente riguarda la logistica e gli spostamenti. La struttura è ubicata in una posizione scomoda all'interno del paese, aggravata dalla gestione del parcheggio. Avendo dovuto lasciare l'auto giù al Parcheggio Porta Catania, raggiungere l'hotel a piedi trascinando i bagagli è stato complicato, faticoso e per nulla agevole. Passabile.

La posizione è il punto forte di questo hotel, con pochi passi si arriva nella piazza principale di Taormina. Personale molto gentile e stanza spaziosa e pulita.

Sebbene comoda, la stanza è minimal e vecchio stile. Colazione sotto le aspettative per la Sicilia e per il prezzo.

Nice modern hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom was very nice. The breakfast had plenty of options. They valet your car and bring it around in about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a great rooftop terrace with great views. No problem recommending this hotel.

Nothing really to complain about. You would not regret staying here.

I travel a lot, I love Italy.. Sicily.. Taormina.. this time we arrived for 3 days and stayed in this beautiful hotel with stunning views of Taormina and the surrounding area of Sicily. From the first minute we got out of the taxi, we were greeted by two employees with a smile on their faces and with a sweet bongorno, they immediately gave us ice water with slices of Sicilian lemon and told us that our room was ready and we could to check in, although we arrived earlier than the specified time, the room was clean, with a very beautiful balcony with a table and chairs, where you can drink a glass of prosecco in an intimate setting and enjoy the atmosphere of this wonderful town. On the roof of this hotel there is a huge platform with views of the sea and Sicily, where concerts with wonderful food and Alya Card cocktails are held in the evenings.. I would like to express my special gratitude to the owner of this wonderful hotel, Mr. Stefano, with his radiant smile, who is always at his workplace, keeping order, because otherwise a good business cannot flourish. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel, we will definitely return here and recommend it to our friends

They were kind enough to extend the check out time for two hours.

The economic room was really basic, and it was not clear from the picture that it would be like that. Plus there was a bar just outside that played loud music into rally late hours.

The staff was very welcoming & helpful & they have a rooftop bar- SKY. I was surprised with the greeting with a plate of fresh fruit in my room ❣️
