The staff are extremely rude. Not welcoming or polite for check in, which is fine. But we were asleep at 7.30am and the owner unlocked and entered our room to accuse us of smoking. We never smoked in the room & never would as that is incredibly disrespectful to the host. She however would not accept that we were literally asleep and couldn’t possibly have been smoking anyway?? I’m very unhappy and highly recommend NOT to stay at this accommodation.

Déjà en place croissant, pain de mie, petit cake (tout industriel) beurre et confiture,café, thé, lait. Ensuite il y a une carte avec pas mal de choix dont des plats thaî (compris dans le prix du petit dej inclu.) Nous avons passé qu'une seule nuit

Muy bien ubicado al estar cerca de todo, pero un poco alejado del movimiento del centro de la ciudad, en una zona muy tranquila. La casa se ve en muy buenas condiciones y siempre guardaremos en nuestro corazón a nuestras anfitrionas ❤️

There was a mixup with my booking and they gave us a different room than I paid for with no reimbursement. The lady who owned the place seemed really stressed out and not so welcoming. There wasn't much around the hotel and the rooms were really hot during the day even with the AC on.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026L'emplacement de l'hébergement dans la ville de Chiang Rai est intéressant. Le côté "typique" de la maison permet une immersion dans l'ambiance Thaï, même si le confort est très présent.
Par manque de communication, il y a eu incompréhension entre les propriétaires des lieux et moi sur le port de chaussons dans la chambre. Les propriétaires souhaitent qu'on utilise leurs chaussons (claquettes souples et fines). De mon côté, j'avais utilisé le premier soir (comme dans tous les hébergements) mes propres claquettes d'intérieur. Le propriétaire s'est plaint et m'a envoyé des messages en insistant sur le fait qu'une amende de 1000 baths serait à verser si j'utilisais des chaussures dans la chambre (ce qui n'était pourtant pas mon cas). Du coup, dès le second soir, j'ai utilisé leur claquettes souples.

Since it is an old traditional house it doesn't have much sound isolation, but it wasn't a problem for the one night we stayed

Somluk is kind and helpful and the atmosphere was calm and quiet despite being close to the centre, literally 600 metres from the night bazaar.
