A beautiful comfortable and charming place. The staff are so helpful and assist with luggage and suggestions. The location is perfect: in an old cobblestone street with quaint tapas bars and beautiful shops … it’s such a beautiful place. Breakfast at cafe across the road is delicious. Just a gorgeous place.

The service was wonderful. The superior room was good but the non-superior room at the end of our stay was even better...a very large comfy bed even though it was a bit smaller room. The employees helped with our luggage upon arrival & depaeture. Location is perfect...a few steps from the best restaurants/bistros along a quiet cobblestone street.

Maybe the lighting needs a little bit of improvement.. no elevator so you have to drag the suitcases up 3 floors. But the staff helped with them so it's not a huge problem.

Very small apartment, not comfortable at all. We thought it was very clean until we saw a cockroach in our room and then on the entrance too. Seems like an old building which makes it worse I guess for this. Also a lot of stairs without elevator.

Clean, beautifully designed hotel rooms in the perfect location with such great, hospitable, helpful, and kind management staff. This place is a true jewel! A must book if available.

--Yataklar biraz daha konforlu olabilir, kötü değil ama geliştirilebilir -Bizim kaldığımız odanın binaların arasına bakan küçük bir penceresi vardı -Gece saat 03.00 sıralarında uzun süre devam eden yüksek tonda bir su tesisatı sesi geliyordu, uyandım ve tekrar uyumakta zorlandım, kaldığımız 3 gün içinde bu 1 gün oldu -Sabah saat 09.00 sıralarında yan odada gürültülü şekilde oda temizliğine girişebilirler, biraz geç kalkmak isterseniz mümkün olmayabilir.

Hartelijk welkom en hulp met de koffers, die vriendelijk naar boven werden gedragen door Michel in een prachtig oud pand. Eenmaal boven kregen we van hem alle tips voor de stad die we nodig hadden, zodat we als locals Madrid konden trotseren. Michel begeleidde ons naar de prachtig ingerichte kamer - wat een inspiratie voor ons eigen huis! - waar we ons direct thuis voelde. Zelfs een welkomsdrankje, snack en water stonden op ons te wachten in het koelkastje in de kamer. Alles was brandschoon en ook de badkamer was voorzien van heerlijke zeepjes en tegeltjes waar ik direct verliefd op werd. Nog een extra pluspunt: airconditioning in een hete zomer! Kortom: grote aanrader!

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Would stay there again without a doubt. Staff let us leave our bags and change in their washroom while we waited for the room to be ready. We stayed at a four points hotel in Malaga later in the week and repeatedly compared how much better our hostel in Madrid was.

The area was quiet but other guests could be heard at night. That comes with staying in a hostel. I would rather have a couple loud guests than be in a loud area.

durch das Alter der Liegenschaft und die schlechte Isolierung ist es sehr ringhörig und man wird durch andere Gäste oder das Putzpersonal geweckt sehr steile Treppe in die 4. Etage. die Treppenstufen sind nicht genormt und unterschiedlich hoch. nicht geeignet für ältere Leute.

De tudo. Foi muito bom receber um código de entrada para check-in. Chegamos às 2h e pudemos já entrar no quarto. O único problema é o fato de não ter elevador. Se a mala estiver pesada, é um pouco difícil de subir. Mas, os atendentes vieram em nosso auxílio. Recomendo muito o local. Outra coisa ótima foi o local comum com ar condicionado, mesa, iluminação e vendas em máquinas de café, água, referigerante, sanduíche e chocolates. A equipe do hotel está de parabéns.

Very friendly helpful staff. Took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed, knew everything we needed to know, to really enjoy our time in Madrid. Thanks guys. Location perfect. We were there to see Spain celebrate their World Cup win, and despite being a stone’s throw from all the celebrations the Artistic was perfectly quiet!

Great little hotel, perfectly situated in Madrid. All sights are walking distance, which is really handy. Small room, but had everything necessary and was very clean.

The room was amazingly clean, the decoration very artistic indeed and the location was great for somebody who wants to be in the center of Madrid for atttending an event like we were. The staff was also of great attendance. Happy to help us anytime of the day!!!

The only thing that I would say it was something we did not expect were the stairs to get to the reception or our room. We were traveling light but if you have big suitcases to carry, the stairs would be a disadvantage.

Very nicely decorated with art and color. The location was in a very cool old part of Madrid with narrow cobblestone streets. I also like that it had air conditioning and that they offered a breakfast coupon we bought for breakfast right on the corner. The breakfast was great!

The room was very small and the bed was a little hard. Next time we will stay in a standard room for more space.

Hostal Artistic B&B... El hostal, ubicado en una estructura preservada históricamente, queda céntrico, a pasos de calles y avenidas principales. Cerca de negocios como mercaditos (markets) restaurantes, barras y lugares de entretenimiento, como también de plazas y estaciones del metro. El mismo está muy bien ambientado a tono con su nombre (arte). Posee máquinas dispensadoras (vending machines) de agua, refrescos, dulces, meriendas (snacks) y sobre todo café. El cuarto que me tocó era pequeño pero acogedor (cosy) con todo lo necesario para estar a gusto, incluyendo un plasma para ver película o programa de televisión, ropa de cama y baño limpias y acondicionador de aire. Además de poseer baño propio con agua caliente y productos de aseo. Sus anfitriones Iván y María, ambos encantadores, amables y serviciales. Dispuestos a ofrecerte, no solo información del hostal, sino también de la ciudad y sus atracciones o lugares de interés. Me hicieron el favor de custodiar mi equipaje en lo que regresaba de atender unos asuntos. Iván y María dos jóvenes que saben cómo hacer para que los huéspedes quieran regresar y/o recomendar el hostal. Para ambos GRACIAS y hasta la próxima. BENDICIONES

The room was clea, small and cozy but had all the necessary amenities. The manager was really nice and provided us will all the help and necessary info. The location is really good as most of the sighseeing locations are nearby. There are good restaurants nearby as well.

Location was excellent, Staff very attentive and helpful.. Access to building and room super convenient. Communication with the staff extremely good (via Whatsapp), letting them know our arrival into Madrid would be delayed, they were always responsive and upon arrival the staff even helped use with our luggage up the stairs to our room.

Although the room was a bit smaller than expected, it turned out to work very well for us. Nothing to complain about.

Hotel was mooi gelegen, niet te ver van de Puerta del Sol. Vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbater.

Duur hostel, misschien omdat het Madrid was (?), piepkleine badkamer (= douche + WC), lavabo in de kamer. Geen ontbijt in hostel zelf. We kregen wel een reductiebon mee voor een van de 2 mogelijke locaties in de buurt voor het ontbijt.

El hotel utiliza fotos engañosas en su publicidad para mostrar habitaciones que luego no te asignan. En nuestro caso, nos dieron una habitación completamente ciega. Solo tenía una pequeña ventana tipo banderola en la parte superior que, al estar tan alta, es imposible de abrir, dejando el espacio sin ninguna ventilación. Para empeorar las cosas, el descanso fue imposible. Las supuestas camas individuales son en realidad camas de campamento incómodos con colchonetas de pésima calidad, la cama matrimonial tenía colchón pero su forma era irregular. No se correspondía en absoluto con lo contratado. Una experiencia decepcionante y un engaño absoluto. Reclamamos y no nos ofrecieron una solución.

Localização é óptima e o bairro simpático. Há vários transportes públicos próximos. As funcionarias e funcionários são muito prestáveis e simpáticos. O quarto estava limpo, tinha toalhas e estava bem decorado.

Havia um pouco de barulho à noite. Não havia elevador mas não houve problema porque os funcionários ofereceram-se para ajudar-me. Não tive outros problemas durante a estadia.

First time in Spain. Very beautiful neighborhood and many nice places to go. Location! Loved the location and the price. 20 mins walking to Atocha Station. More silent and felt very safe and less crowded than Gran Vía. We really enjoyed the stay because it felt homey; near many nice places and museums. They have nearby places where you can do breakfast for very good price (they give you a voucher). Every night we went to do a flamenco show, dancing, live music at a bar; very near the B&B. The staff was super nice! LOVE IT!

Only stairs, but that is part of staying at an old building. The room was smaller than expected, specially the bathroom, but we didn’t spend too much time there.

Die Organisation war hervorragend, und der Check-in sowie der Check-out waren für die Gäste sehr einfach und komfortabel. Alle erforderlichen Informationen wurden detailliert zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich, präsent und hilfsbereit. Der Service war erstklassig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt und frische Handtücher wurden gewechselt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei.Die Dusche funktionierte einwandfrei, mit hochwertigen Sanitäranlagen, starkem Wasserdruck und einfacher Temperatureinstellung. Die Matratzen und Kissen waren sehr komfortabel.

Wir erhielten Zimmer Nummer 5, dessen Fenster zu einem kleinen Innenhof zeigten. Leider waren die Wände sehr dünn, man hörte alles. Wenn die Gäste aus den Nachbarzimmern ihre Zimmer betraten oder Toilette und Dusche benutzten, hatte man das Gefühl, es passiere in unserem eigenen Zimmer. Nachts um halb eins oder morgens um sechs Uhr haben einige Gäste geduscht und uns aufgeweckt. Daher würde ich empfehlen dieses Zimmer zu vermeiden.

The breakfast was ok. So nice to have staff awaiting my arrival and offering to carry my bag up the stairs. The decor was delightful! Quiet, comfy, clean. Staff helpful in giving me tips on sights to see.

Chambre petite mais très propre . Situé dans un magnifique quartier celui des Lettres . Même si ce quartier est animé la rue de notre hôtel est plus paisiblel . Très près pour visiter à pied le centre de Madrid . Le personnel est très courtois et sympathique. Très bons petits-déjeuners au Brown bear bakery.

Nous avons eu un petit problème avec le réservoir d’eau chaude. Heureusement le personnel a réagi rapidement.

Room is small and the shower is really small! Not really an issue but just makes manoeuvring a challenge when there’s 2 of you + luggage. They have a holder in the shower that’s pretty ill designed. It holds nothing at all!! Everything falls through the gaps loll
