I’m not sure if this place is a hotel or a “Do-It-Yourself adventure camp.” Basic facilities? Only on request! Want slippers? Ask. Need a dental kit? Ask. Door mat? Ask again. At this point I was expecting them to hand me a mop and say, “Here, clean the washroom yourself too,” because honestly, it looked like no one else has tried. If you’re coming here for a relaxing leisure trip, please rethink. The only thing getting refreshed here is your patience—and not in a good way. One step inside and instant mood spoiler! There is no proper Housekeeping & Maintenance.

I would like to highlight a few observations regarding the hotel’s beach area. Although there are workers and maintenance activities taking place, there are still no beach chairs, umbrellas, or necessary equipment available. In addition, there is ongoing construction work on the beach, and it requires further cleaning due to the seaweed. Moreover, there are no water activities available. I kindly request that these issues be addressed to enhance the guest experience. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reviewed Nov 11, 2025The staff were all very friendly from the reception interacted with Shuhait and Razak. They were both amazing before our arrival and during our stay and departure as well. Breakfast and lunch was amazing as well and the staff at the restaurant were very kind and attentive to details. Would definitely recommend. We got a very tasty cake and a room upgrade which was very kind of the team.

Very old hotel — dirty and poorly maintained. The bedsheets have become dark and lost their color; they should at least replace them. The room decor is horrible. Definitely not worth 500 dirhams per night. The food deserves only 3 out of 10.

Die Liegen im Poolbereich müssten unbedingt gewechselt werden, auch die Reinigung der Aussenflächen liess zu wünschen übrig! Sehr staubig! Bademeister /Rettungsschwimmer hat sich viel Mühe gegeben!

Le prix du bar sûr excessif. (23euros pour 3 grands cafés) et les smoothies un peu cher aussi. Le gros point négatif (qui nous a fait partir), est la propreté des transats de la piscine. On souhaitait y rester un peu mais les matelas sont pleins de sable et tachés de partout, les abords de la piscine sont plein de poussière noires venant des travaux alentours. L’eau de la piscine est propre par contre.

Things such as the building being very outdated, the rooms having an unpleasant smell, the amenities were severely lackin and the beach itself was very disappointing. Everything was awful. I wanted my parents to enjoy there trip to RAK however the team made it worst. I stayed with my parents for 2 nights. Before my parents landed I went to see the room and found that the room is actually very small as compare to the pictures. I have requested basic set up for my parent (2 days prior to check-in) and imagine I got a response after 15 hours. On 1st day we did not went to have breakfast and on 2nd day I was at work when my parents went to have breakfast at 9:30am the restaurant team member said that the breakfast is finished however they bought some omelette and paratha. WHAT A JOKE. If you request for dental kit or slippers then they will take years to bring it to the room. Only 1 night receptionist guy was good. Sorry I forgot his name.
