There is a slaughter house near by and the smell was unreal! Apparently it depends on wind direction! The thing I disliked the most was breakfast doesn’t start until 10 am. So had to go elsewhere for breakfast.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Pleased when I asked for ground floor and they gave me ground floor. There’s a Rickie’s restaurant on site which serves breakfast thru dinner. Nice as didn’t want to move my car when my parking spot was very close to my room. Many other restaurants within a 5 min drive. Liked that property backs on to a housing subdivision, so it was nice to go for a walk thru there rather than on a commercial strip street. Room had a nice fridge to keep my drinks and snacks cold.

If you get here late, its hard to get a parking spot in front of the rooms.

Ricky’s restaurant did not honour the 10% discount promised even on regular priced menu items. I cancelled Booking.com and rebooked with Trivago but still had to pay the Booking .com rate instead of the lower Trivago rate.

The guests upstairs were so noisy all night long that I got very little sleep. For that reason only I give it a poorer rating than I perhaps may have given. I would not stay there again unless it was an upstairs room and i have arthritis so that would be difficult for me.

The sink was not draining properly, I had to wait for several minutes until all the water dried out. The floor in the 205 room between two beds is not in place, maintenance service has to check it out. Same thing with the bath tub, it looks like that was a hole in the bath tub and they covered it with a “anti- slippery” plastic and that doesn’t look good.
