La comodità unica nell’avere a portata di mano la spiaggia e la taverna della stessa struttura, semplicemente attraversando la strada. C’è inoltre, per chi è in macchina, disponibilità di parcheggio gratuito lungo la strada esattamente di fronte alla struttura.

It is a very good apartment hotel; we were welcomed by Maria. The apartment hotel is located right by the sea. Parking is easy, and shops, a convenience store, and restaurants are just a stone's throw away. We recommend it.

La kitchenette était très petite, très peu équipée et donc inopérante. C’est malheureusement un critère important pour nous lors de nos choix de location. La présentation de la présence de kitchenette est ici abusive.

Tutto. La struttura è dotata di tutto il necessario. Ad un passo dalla meravigliosa spiaggia. Il personale e Maria sono stati eccezionali, sempre con il sorriso e pronti ad aiutare.

Un grand merci à Maria et toute son équipe qui ont rendu notre séjour très agréable. Nous avons été acceuilli très chaleureusement. Nous étions très triste de quitter notre cocon. L'établissement est situé en face de la mer. Vous trouverez sur place snack, supérette, taverne, panier de basket, piscine - le paradis pour les enfants. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

I had the most amazing long weekend at this hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room was absolutely spotless, the swimming pool was beautifully maintained, and everyone was so polite. I also had the chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, and every meal was fresh, delicious, and really well prepared. You can tell that they genuinely care about the quality of what they offer and the experience of their guests. I only wish I could have stayed longer! It’s definitely one of those places you leave already thinking about when you can come back. I’ll absolutely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay

Standaard kamer, met een zeer simpel keukentje en een heerlijk bed. Het heeft zowel vooraan een terras - deze grenst aan het terras van je buren (zonder muurtje) en achteraan is er ook een, ideaal voor het drogen van je kleren. Het is een soort overdekte straat met allemaal kleine 'appartementjes'. Aan de overkant van de straat heerlijke strandtenten, met een zalig strand.

Geen personeel te bespeuren. Persoonlijk vond ik het prijzig voor dergelijke standaard kamer.

Una ubicación perfecta para visitar la zona de Agios Nikolaus con más tranquilidad. María nos dio las recomendaciones perfectas para las dos noches que pasamos allí. La habitación es amplia y muy cómoda. Hay limpieza de habitaciones a cualquier hora. La cama doble es de 1,80 m de ancho. Desayunamos los dos días en una terracita que tenía la habitación en la entrada. Hay una pequeña cocina en la habitación y un bar cafetería justo en la entrada. Enfrente del hotel, cruzando la carretera, hay bares y restaurantes que dan directamente a la playa. Con un agua transparente como en todo Creta.

Por decir algo, el plato de ducha es muy pequeño. Y, sin ser cuestión del hotel, hay que llevar anti mosquitos para la playa.

L'appartement pour 6 personnes était très grand. La literie est très confortable. Nous avons profité de la piscine tous les matins, il n'y avait que nous. L'emplacement est idéal avec une petite superette pour faire des courses.. La plage en face de l'hôtel est belle et les transats sont gratuits si on consomme des boissons. Le personnel est très agréable. Je conseille ce logement à tous les vacanciers.

Je noterai uniquement le peu de vaisselles dans le logement. Un service supplémentaire serait apprécié.

Un petit hôtel appartements familiale, très sympa avec piscine au calme, les chambres sont très bien entretenue (nettoyage fait tout les jours),la cuisine de l'hôtel est bonne, le petit déjeuner un peu simple. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable, madame Maria est très gentille et accueillante. La plage est superbe avec du sable fin.

Dommage que les transats sur la plage sont payants pour les clients de l'hôtel (10€ le set)

APARTMENTS We had an absolutely wonderful 4 nights stay in Ammoudara Beach Hotel Agios Nikolaos. Beautiful apartments with each it's own outside terras (or balcony) and another outside space for laundry hanging. All very well taken care off. There was a bottle of water in the fridge, shower gel and shampoo in the very comfortable bathrooms, airco included: big thumbs up! SETTING We enjoyed the wonderful setting of the apartment-complex, including the very comfortable swimming pool with an outside shower and even a (also very clean :-) toilet. LOCATION The small supermarket was very convenient. Here we bought our breakfast and lunch supplies which we enjoyed on our private terras. We bought bread there as well, but really did miss some freshly baked bakery bread. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch or diner right at the beach front at one of the 4 restaurants within 1 minute walking distance. We liked Taverna Ammoudara, but Skinos was our favorite. A car is needed for other restaurants or the larger Lidl supermarket nearby. For those who like watersports rentals there is George Watersports at the same beach. The beach had free beds (when ordering something) as well as payed, but also a free area without beds. We missed some shops: the city or busstation of Agios Nikolaos was just a few minutes drive by bus (or taxi €12 one way). The city has some nice but touristic and busy shopping streets with cafés and restaurants. The Fish Spa Therapy was fun! STAFF Very polite and helpfull staff who kept everything nice and tidy all day. In total we stayed at 3 different hotels during our stay on Crete. Ammoudara Beach Hotel as well as Maria was by far the best, wonderful, kind and helpful host! All in all: highly recommended!

Nous avons adoré l’emplacement à côté d’une très belle plage avec transat, la piscine et la propreté de l’hôtel la gentillesse du personnel et tout particulièrement Maria et son fils qui nous ont conseillé de super spots.

We loved everything, and Maria was amazing. We needed a doctor and she even arranged an appointment for us. Beautiful beaches all over the place. The place itself was clean and quiet and the rooms where excellent.

Hotel położony blisko ładnej, czystej plaży z leżakami. Żeby dojść do plaży, trzeba przejść przez ulicę, ale nie jest ona bardzo ruchlowa i nie stanowiło to problemu. Przy plaży znajdują się trzy tawerny z dobrym jedzeniem, a przy hotelu sklep. Nieopodal znakdują się miasteczka Agios Nikolaos, Elounda i Plaka, które warto zwiedzić. Można popłynąć na Spinalongę. Bezproblemowe meldowanie, dobry kontalt z obsłigą, Pani, która nas meldowała była bardzo miła i pomocna. Mogliśmy pozostać w pokoju do godziny 13. Mieliśmy duży, ładny, wygodny apartament, bardzo przestronny, czysty i wyglądał jakby był niedawno po remoncie. Polecam to miejsce.

Kuchnia mogłaby być troszlę lepiej wyposażona, brakowało nam ścierki do naczyń, noża (był tylko do chleba), i małego garnka. Ale byliśmy krótko, więc to nie był duży problem.

Een leuke accomodatie in een prachtige baai. Kamers zitten in een soort straatje, iedere keer 1 kamer beneden en 1 kamer daarboven, te bereiken via een draaitrap. De kamers hebben een zitje in het straatje en een plaatsje of balkon aan de achterkant. Ruime kamer. De bedden waren heel goed. De douchebak is klein met een douchegordijn. Op de kamer een aanrecht met keukengerei en met koelkast/vriesvak. Kledingkast met hanggedeelte en een paar lades. Weinig stopcontacten op de kamer maar bij de receptie kun je een contactdoos vragen. Goede airco. De manager Maria is heel aardig, ze wil graag dat de gasten het naar de zin hebben. 'snachts is het lekker rustig. Schoonmaak is goed, iedere dag schone handdoeken en vaak schoon beddengoed. De accomodatie heeft een eigen supermarkt. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt bij de accomodatie. Er is ook een mooi zwembad, wij hebben daar 1 keer gebruik van gemaakt. De locatie van de accomodatie is geweldig, de straat oversteken en je zit in de baai. De baai heeft ongeveer 3 hotels en 3 taverna's. Eten bij eigen taverna is heerlijk en gezellig. Accomodatie heeft ook een eigen snackbar. Bedjes op het strand zijn € 10 voor 2 bedjes en parasol. Water in de baai is heel helder, je kan ver lopen voordat het diep wordt. Parkeerplek voor auto of motor/scooter is er meestal wel tegenover het hotel bij de taverna's. Alleen in het weekend is het iets moeilijker parkeren. In de omgeving van de accomodatie is niet veel te doen maar met de auto ben je binnen 10 minuten in Agios Nikolaos. Parkeren kan daar bij de haven voor € 4 per dag en savonds gratis. Accomodatie is een prima start voor tripjes naar het zuiden (Ierapetra), het oosten (Vai), het noorden (Elounda, Spinalonga), het westen (Heraklion, Koutouloufari) enz.

Het zou fijn zijn als de eigen supermarkt vers brood zou verkopen voor het ontbijt.

Albergo molto carino situato di fronte alla spiaggia di Ammoudara. Camera essenziale, ma completa. Buona colazione sia dolce che salata. Piscina ben tenuta. La signora Maria alla reception è molto cordiale e dà ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare.

This is not a typical hotel, it is more like a miniature neighborhood with walls partly made of rocks for an old city vibe. It is horizontally developed and not vertically, some of its buildings having only one level above the floor to which you climb on asymmetrical stairs. It gives the location a definite warmth and impressive esthetics look. We had cold bottled water waiting in the fridge upon our arrival which was great! The room had mosquito repellent devices with tablets in case of need (the kind you plug in the outlet). ACs were functional and silent, all the amenities were functional, we did use the oven, the electric cooktop (hob) and the laundry washing machine. The cleaning personnel was diligent and towels were changed almost daily. The clean swimming pool with tables and lounging chairs was a good place to relax and drink some wine. The hotel is fronted by a bar where you can have breakfast and a minimarket with drinks, snacks, basic food, ice cream, beach related products. I heartedly recommend the hotels restaurant (Ammoudara Tavern) which is in front of the hotel and do try the Ammoudara Salad! The location is exceptional as the beach is right in front after crossing the street. It is fine grained sandy and there are no rocks at the entrance in the sea. There are rocks at the left side of it you fancy some snorkeling. There are a couple of showers available on the beach. Shout out to Maria, the lady at the reception, for her invaluable advices on sightseeing destinations and chill beaches which are not necessarily the most advertised ones. Definitely go and ask her for advice.

Although cicadas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicada) add local experience to the holiday, they can disturb your morning sleep with their loud song if you keep the windows open. :)) They are specific to the climate and region and have nothing particularly to do with the hotel.

La struttura è in una posizione fronte mare fra san Nicolò e la spiaggia di Voulisma. Comoda per parcheggio con la spiaggia di fronte. Il personale è stato fantastico con noi! Una sera un membro ci ha salvato da un grillo, ma in generale tutti sono stati super gentili e disponibili. Carina l’area piscina con Bbq.

La struttura in sé è datata. In stanza avevo il lavandino crepato in più punti e in bagno c’era una tendina anni ‘90 e mia figlia non riusciva a non allagare il bagno. La colazione non era un gran che. Da un residence di questi mi aspettavo più varietà e qualità. I Parcheggi all’interno erano solo 4, tutti gli altri in strada…

Le coté hlm j'avais une chambre au rd chausséeg qui donnait sur une petite terrasse sans aucun meuble, rien pour s'asseoir.... Pas de vraie fenêtre. La fenêtre donne sur un passage.... je pense que les chambres au premier étage sont beaucoup plus mieux Au rez de chaussée , j'avais un peu l'impression d'être en cage...

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Ammoudara Hotel & Apartments auf Kreta. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die hervorragende Lage, das äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal sowie den sehr guten Service während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts. Ein besonderes Lob gilt der Managerin Maria, die stets freundlich, professionell und jederzeit ansprechbar war. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Der Strand, den uns das Hotel empfohlen hat, erschien uns zunächst wie einer von vielen in der Umgebung. Später haben wir jedoch festgestellt, dass er tatsächlich zu den schönsten und besten Stränden der Gegend gehört. Außerdem möchten wir das hervorragende WLAN erwähnen. Die Internetverbindung war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr stabil und schnell, was nach unseren bisherigen Reiseerfahrungen keineswegs selbstverständlich ist. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt betrifft das Frühstück, das sich von Tag zu Tag nur wenig verändert hat. Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen waren jedoch vollkommen in Ordnung, sodass dies unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck kaum beeinflusst hat.

Wir waren für eine Nacht da. Das Apartment war sehr schön, es ist alles da was man braucht. Auch 2 Wasserflaschen standen bei Ankunft im Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Über die Hauptstraße konnte man im Restaurant direkt am Sandstrand super lecker essen. Der Strand ist klein aber auch sehr schön. Das Personal muss man loben. Alle freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprechen sehr gut englisch

Localização excelente, em frente a uma bela praia de Creta. Quarto agradável com cama e travesseiros confortáveis. Café da manhã muito gostoso e ótimo restaurante em frente a praia. Todos os funcionários foram bastante atenciosos durante toda a hospedagem. Agradecemos a nossa maravilhosa estadia.

Great place to stay for a few days, beach is just across the road. Hotels traverna is right on the beach.Pool is nice too. Maria is wonderful and an excellent hostess. Would stay here again.

Super emplacement, avec la plage à proximité encroit trés calme pour se reposer, Agios nikolaos à 5min en voiture pour un peu plus de vie. Super chambre, la supérette à côté c'est trés pratique.

Très dommage qu'il n'y est pas de volet, le rideau présent n'est pas du tout suffisant, et une très mauvaise insonorisation sonore. Tous les matins ont été réveillés de bon heure par les femmes de ménages ou les gens qui se trouvait coller à notre appartement, même si il n'était pas particulièrement bruyant

It was so close to the beach, and has a lovely pool. The staff were so kind to my kids, which made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this hotel.
