Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre Lage direkt am Meer in einem kleinen Ort trotzdem nah genug an Agios Nikolaos man kann laufen oder Bus fahren ca 3 km. Es gibt Tavernen direkt am sehr sauberen Sandstrand der auch Duschen und offentliche Toiletten und einen Laden hat. Wir hatten Zimmer 8 Blick auf das Meer und Wellenrauschen und trotzdem nicht zu heiß weil eine Pinie Schatten bot. Das Zimmer war absolut sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht Pool ist super mit Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir wurden mit Wein und Obst herzlich empfangen. Die Anlage besteht aus mehreren Appartments und war trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir haben es sehr genossen und können es empfehlen für alle die einen ruhigen Ort mit toller Aussicht und schönen sauberen Strand schätzen. Wir hatten zwar ein Auto aber hinkommen kann man auch ohne mit dem Bus

Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to beach, tavernas and small supermarket. Karin and her team were wonderful and extremely helpful. Apartment for 4 was very clean. Loved the Greek white and blue buildings. Pool was perfect. .

Nothing to dislike apart from 70 steps ups from beach but it kept us fit

L'établissement ne propose pas de petit-déjeuner. L'emplacement est idéal car proche de la plage et des commodités.

Certains matériels sont un peu vieillissants comme la salle de bain qui mériterait une rénovation.

Wspaniały widok, duży, czysty basen. Bardzo komfortowe miejsce blisko plaży. Przestronne pokoje, my mieliśmy idealny apartament na 5 osób. Gospodarze też bardzo sympatyczni i pomocni!

Logement en rez de jardin spacieux avec 2 grandes chambres , une grande cuisine et surtout une terrasse immense avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer qui est toute proche. Quartier calme à proximité de la plage et des tavernes , grande piscine et place de parking à quelques mètres . Gentillesse et disponibilité de la gérante et de son équipe .

Dommage que la télévision ne nous permettait pas d'accéder aux chaînes .

Groot appartement met een heel mooi terras buiten met prachtig uitzicht. Mooi zwembad. Het appartement is schoon en alles is aanwezig. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Un vrai petit coin de paradis à Amoudara, un séjour merveilleux ! Notre séjour aux logements Gerani a été tout simplement fantastique. Les appartements sont typiques, spacieux, très confortables et offrent une superbe vue sur la mer. L'emplacement est parfait : au calme absolu pour se reposer, à seulement quelques kilomètres d'Agios Nikolaos, et tout près de super tavernes pour se régaler. Un immense merci à Karin, notre contact sur place ! Elle est Française, ce qui facilite énormément les échanges, et elle est tout simplement au top avec son grand sourire et ses précieux conseils pour explorer le coin. Un clin d'œil aussi à sa collègue Isabelle, qui est tout aussi agréable ! Un séjour magique de A à Z. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation et nous recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés !

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was spacious with a kitchen where you can prepare simple dishes with sea view:)The terrace is incredible, amazing views to amoudara beach, a nice beach just few steps away from the residence. The pool is perfect, quite big and very clean. In our first day we spoke with Isabel,very friendly and nice and very helpful with all the information that gave us. Thank you Isabel! We felt like home, but with the holiday spirit. Karin, the manager of the residence made everything even better,her recommendations for visiting places,restaurants and beaches were priceless, much better than the official guides. Congratulations Karin for doing your job with such good energy, taking care of every detail! We definitely want to come back :)

Gorgeous views and a spacious apartment. Karin kindly organised our taxi from the airport and was friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

I thought the property was lovely. Only thing I’d say is that if you don’t have a car the buses are a bit limiting so be aware of this (not the property’s fault of course).

La gentillesse, discrétion, efficacité du personnel. La vue incroyable depuis les terrasses de l’appartement, la place, le calme, la piscine Arrivée très facile et flexible ( nous avons pu entrer dans l’appartement 1h30 plus tôt que prévu

Rien. Si il faut vraiment dire quelque chose, nous avons trouvé que l’heure de fermeture de la piscine (19h) etait un peu précoce.

De manager, stond direct klaar wanneer nodig. Reageerde snel. Prima zwembad. En de ruimte, meer dan voldoende voor 2 personen.

Gedateerd, ondanks fris blauwe verfje. Geen haak voor douchekop is echt een no-go. En geen douchekop in bad, dus geen alternatief. Met een flinke make-over was dit een 9 of 10 geweest.

Logement qui mériterait un coup de rénovation

Les extérieurs mériteraient un rafraîchissement et un meilleur entretien...

Établissement très chouette et idéalement placé à 5 kms au sud d Ágios. Nous avons apprécié le calme du matin au soir - logement 10 pour nous - une vue incroyable. Nous nous sentions comme à la maison dans notre logement indépendant. Les draps et serviettes sont changés tous les 3 ou 4 jours ce qui est très agréable. Karin et Isabelle sont toujours prêtes pour un conseil avisé.

Un grand merci à Karin pour cet accueil parfait et de plus en Français 👍. Excellents conseils de visite dans la régions. L'hôtel est situé un peu en hauteur avec une superbe vue sur la mer. L'endroit est calme et reposant. Très bonnes prestations en général, ne pas hésiter.

La WI-FI est un peu juste dans le logement mais la 5G passe bien donc ce n'est pas vraiment un problème.

L'accueil de karin ,très bien. L'emplacement bien il faut une voiture. Belle piscine.

La ubicación. Está en un alto y las vistas son preciosas. Desde la habitación se ve el mar. En la parte de arriba tiene una piscina fantástica. Se puede aparcar sin problema y la playa está a 150 metros. Recibimiento con vino y fruta y en nuestra salida, nos permitió estar hasta las 13.30 sin problema. Realmente fantástico.

Realmente nada. Es uno denlos alojamientos más acogedores en lo que yo haya estado. Enhorabuena!!.

Appartement 1 chambre fonctionnel avec 2 climatisations efficaces (1 dans le salon, 1 dans la chambre). Piscine agréable et plage, mini market et 3 restaurants à 3 mn à pied. Agios Nikolas est à quelques minutes en voiture. Karin et Isabelle qui sont françaises vous accueillent et sont aux petits soins.

Literie vraiment à changer…

La posizione del Residence è ottima, con una bellissima vista sulla baia di Ammoudara, perfetta anche per godersi l'alba con il sole che sorge dal mare. Abbastanza vicina (10-12 minuti in auto) al centro di Agios Nicolaos ma fuori dalla confusione della città. Karin e tutto il suo staff sono gentilissimi, molto efficienti e prodighi di informazioni e indicazioni su spiagge, ristoranti, posti da visitare e anche, purtroppo per noi, medici da contattare. Abbiamo avuto bisogno del check in quasi a mezzanotte, abbiamo ricevuto tutte le indicazioni necessarie e abbiamo trovato la camera pronta e pulita (con acqua, vino e cestino di frutta di benvenuto)

Tutta la struttura, gli arredamenti e soprattutto i bagni sono un po' datati, avrebbero bisogno di qualche rinnovamento. Ma le altre strutture intorno non hanno quella magnifica posizione sulla collina e gli spazi del Gerani. Sarebbero sicuramente apprezzati dei posti auto con un po' di ombra.

Bel appartement très bien placé au-dessus de la plage de sable.Belle piscine,vue magnifique. Un excellent accueil par Karin très sympathique et toujours disponible.

O apartamento era encantador e estava tudo muito limpo e organizado. A localização é óptima para conhecer a zona. A vista do terraço é fabulosa. A residência é muito acolhedora e funcional. A simpatia da anfitriã Karin, tornou a estadia ainda mais especial. Um sítio onde gostaria certamente de regressar.

Grand appartement très bien équipé. Merveilleuse vue sur la mer depuis la terrasse. Emplacement agréable, au calme. Plage et restaurants à 2 minutes à pied. Merci à Karin pour l'accueil, la disponibilité et les bons conseils sur la région et les restaurants.

Piscine très fraîche

La résidence gerani est gérée par Karine qui est française et merci pour les conseils 👌 L'appartement est situé en au haut d'une côte (tout à fait accessible) avec une vue fantastique sur la mer. C'est calme et avec une terrasse où on est à l'aise. Pour info il y a des volets en plus des rideaux et ça c'est top. Car le soleil est bien intense. Le petit plus c'est aussi qu'après avoir demandé nous avons eu le linge lavé pour 8€. C'est appréciable lorsque on reste un certain temps. La cuisine est bien équipée et le reste aussi.

Le seul bémol à mon sens, c'est la literie qui est trop ferme à mon goût.

Comfortable retro style suite. Older but refreshed, clean and well equipped. Good a/c for hotter temps. Excellent location very close to a nice beach and 15 minutes from Agios Nikolaos. Staff was helpful and friendly, and the manager Karin deserves special mention for her hospitality. Loved it!

L'accueil chaleureux de Karité, personne dynamique et proche des clients. La vue de l'appartement est sublime, on ne s'en lasse pas. Une petite plage et quelques restaurants se trouvent juste en.bas de la résidence.

Elke ochtend de zonsopkomst. Hoeveelheid serviesgoed. De grootte van het appartement. Je hebt de keus tussen zwembad of zee. De drie restaurantjes op jet strand wasr je s avonds kon eten was erg gezellig. De grote koelkast. De vier pitten elektrisch zodat er veel ruimte was om goed te koken

Niets eigenlijk. Als ik dan iets koet verzinnen zou het nog geupgrate kunnen worden door betere bedden bij het zwembad.

Rustige locatie, dicht bij stadje. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Prachtig uitzicht op zee. Met de auto vlakbij bezienswaardigheden.

We waren begin mei, de opstartfase van het seizoen. De eerste dagen vrij fris weer en af en toe regen.

Nie podobało nam się to, że musieliśmy opuścić to miejsce 🙂

The location has a stunning view. You can hear the waves while relaxing on the terrace. We had a very warm welcome upon our arrival: tons of useful information, beach toys for kids and even wine 🙂 We are planning to come back!

Günstige Unterkunft, nette Umgebung

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Apartment. Deutlich zu wenig Geschirr um selber zu kochen.🥴😵‍💫 Im Ort nur mangelhafte Infrastruktur: Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte... man muss immer fahren. Pool - geht so 🥴

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Ammoudara, nahe Agios Nikolaos. Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man so braucht. Küche gut ausreichend gut ausgestattet für den Urlaub. Schöne Terrasse mit Meerblick. 2 min Fußweg zum Strand und Restaurants. Weitere schöne Buchten und Agios Nikolaos in ca. 10 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr nette Besitzer die immer sofort antworten und auf alle Fragen eingehen. Schöner Poolbereich mit Liegen und ebenfalls Meerblick. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :)

Locație excelentă!❤️ Priveliște extraordinară (din camera 7🙃) și multă liniște. Aproape de o plajă minunată. CELE MAI SPECTACULOASE RĂSĂRITURI! Nu prea departe nici de Lidl, pentru aprovizionare. Am fost întâmpinați cu un cadou de bun venit: fructe, apa, pliculețe de ceai și cafea și o sticlă de vin🙂. Mobilierul în culori tradiționale și paturile confortabile au întărit sentimentul de vacanță. 🥰 (pernele au fost cam moi, dar ne-am descurcat). Curățenie impecabilă, o dată la 2 zile s-au schimbat si prosoapele.

Pomieszczenia przestronne. Zewnętrzny prywatny taras, a nawet dwa! Widok z łóżka na morze był fantastyczny! Łóżka wygodne. W oknach siatki przeciw komarom ( a gdyby jednak dostały się jakoś do domu, to elektryczne odstraszacze) Czystość w całym obiekcie bez zarzutu. Przy basenie taras słoneczny, bardzo przydatny w miesiącach jesiennych. Do fajnej plaży pieszo z górki. Wzdłuż wybrzeża ścieżka widokowa, którą można iść bezpiecznie również po zmroku. Karin zajmująca się gośćmi - Przesympatyczna. Jeśli będę wybierać się ponownie w te rejony Krety, z pewnością wrócę do Gerani Apt.

Wszystko było SUPER. Może wyposażenie kuchni mogłoby być bogatsze, choć i tak było wystarczająco ;))

Wie im Vorfeld bekannt funktional eingerichtetes Studio, aber es war alles da, was man brauchte. Supertolle Aussicht von der Terrasse aus. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Bad könnte eine Renovierung vertragen.

The apartment was compact, yet comfortable and fully equipped. Comfortable beds, pillows, and the private terrace with table, chairs, and umbrella are a great addition... the view from the terrace is priceless!! Would definitely recommend it! On site parking is a great plus!

Prachtige locatie vooral uitzicht over zee en het zandstrand met ligbedden en leuk restaurant. Prachtige blauw-wit geleurde apartementen met leuke veranda met super uitzicht. Kleine keuken, prima bedden. Karin was een prima host en gaf veel tips over restaurants en leuke plaatsjes.

1x hadden we geen warm water, maar werd snel hersteld

Bien localisé, superbe vu, confortable et bon rapport qualité prix.

Grand appartement situé en banlieue de Ágios,avec un panorama magnifique. Cuisine bien achalandée,plusieurs lits ou canapés. Une présence très appréciable de Karin.

La vue du RDC bouchée par les arbustes. La salle de bains vétuste mériterait une douche et réfection.

À 5 min en voiture d'Agios Nikolaos, loin du mouvement. Une petite plage sympa en traversant la route. Il y a une piscine au cas où. Les appartements ont beaucoup de charme et le personnel est trop sympa.

Une petite rénovation des équipements électroménagers ne serait pas en trop !

Das Appartement ist geräumig und sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und optimal ausgestattet. Die ganze Anlage ist weitläufig und man fühlt sich sehr sicher dort. Die Lage ist super, nur wenige Meter zum Sandstrand mit einigen Lokalen.

We stayed in the apartments as a group of four in September 2025. Perfect location with an amazing sea view. The staff is very friendly and attentive, always trying to make guests feel comfortable. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Parking and a great swimming pool are available. We truly enjoyed our time here and left with wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

Die Lage und der griechische Stil vermitteln in fantastisches Urlaubsflair! Das Apartment war großzügig, ein massiver Safe (mit Schlüssel) vorhanden. Wir hatten zwei Terrassen, jeweils mit Tisch und Stühlen. Neue Fenster, im Schlafzimmer mit Insektenschutz. Die Chefin Karin ist äußerst bemüht und freundlich!

Die ganze Anlage, wie auch die Einrichtung in Küche und Bad bedürfte langsam eine liebevollen Renovierung ;)

Crete is a big island and the Lassithi region which is 10 min from Agios Nikolaos, a picturesque coastal city, makes for a perfect place to be situated. Despite my initial concerns that the accommodations would be too remote or hard to get to since I really couldn't get a feel for the area using web based maps because there were no pictures showing how the residence was situated to anything. I picked it based on tour book descriptions of the area and the few pics and reviews of the accommodations. We couldn't have found a better place to stay! Plenty of parking if you rent a car, views and vistas to die for, owner and staff that are readily available to help in any way they can, rooms are spacious and contain everything needed (pots, pans, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, toaster - a first out of all the places we stayed in Greece), verandas with flowered pergolas (a Greek staple to be sure) and close to all amenities. This was the true gift and surprise of the residence. While we sat perched up in our private secluded accommodations it was as easy as walking down a private, vegetation covered and romantic twisting staircase which included a seating area part way down where a couple or individual could sit to rest or absorb the surrounds and at the exist of the stairs just across the not busy road were 3 individual restaurants (shout out to Askianos Restaurant who provided my 7 person family with a place to eat when all other places were closed) Paralia Ammoudara, public beach with sun beds and umbrellas plus a small "corner" store with basic core essential items. You can spend all your time at the residence and have a fulfilling vacation. However, it is a quick hop to get to other popular beaches and the quaint city of Agios Nikolaos with easy public paid parking at the harbour that let's you explore and shop on foot to more than enough venues including the terminally romantic Basilico Ristorante right on the harbour.

It didn't affect me because I had an eSim (highly recommended) but my wife depended on WiFi and the only place to get reliable access was outside the walls of the rooms on the pergola covered private verandas - not a hard compromise IMHO. Something I would do next time on the large island of Crete would be to spend time in the northern area around Chania by renting a place to stay there. The drive from our residence to Chania and by association Knossos Palace, Balos Beach and Elafonissi Beach took 3 to 4 hours which is too much time in a day on vacation to do and also be able to take in the sites. Easy fix for next time.
