Me gustaría resaltar lo increíble que es este lugar. La habitación estaba limpia, con todas las comodidades para descansar después de largas caminatas. Además, tienen un apartado con te y café todo el día por si quieres servirte. El desayuno genial también. Lo que más me gustaría resaltar es la atención de las personas que regentan el lugar. Principalmente reconocer el trabajo de Nicolás. He viajado sola al Chalten y me preocupaba hacer las caminatas sola. Él me aconsejó que hacer cada día en función de clima y me prestó sus crampones para poder caminar sobre la nieve. Además, te pueden preparar lunch box si estás todo el día fuera. La verdad, que me he sentido súper arropada en este hotel. Como si estuviera en casa.

Muy fácil de ubicar, el personal excelente: Super amables siempre. Limpio y silencioso.

Kleines Hotel an guter Lage. Parkieren neben dem Gebäude. Das Personal war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und hatte immer ein Ohr für unsere Anliegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut!

I couldn’t have had a warmer welcome and better stay . Santiago was amazing at making sure I made the best out of my stay with great recommendations for hiking , food and sharing stories about El Chalten. My room was perfect .

La ubicación, la comodidad de la habitación y la limpieza. Por otro lado la amabilidad de los chicos de recepción súper destacable y es algo q valoro muchísimo. Desde quien nos recibió el primer día y nos aconsejó qué cosa visitar por el clima, hasta Nicolás quien estuvo los días q nosotras estuvimos . La verdad lo super recomiendo y volveré a este lugar sin dudas

Good location, very comfortable, nice hot water and good pressure in shower. Our host, Santiago was very helpful with trip planning. Good breakfast hours. Overall, a nice warm cozy place. Highly recommend

The staff were very accommodating(Guadalupe), good location in town. Breakfast was a great start to each day. Weather is displayed for planning purposes and there is some items that can be hired for trekking.

Nice position: close to both trek entrance and bus station, convenient for hikers to stay. Nice service: the day i checked who in charge is very helpful, offered all information i need when i got in the town (device renting, open restaurants, as well as the position and open hour of supermarket. They are useful because in winter the Google maps opening data might not working. With help you can find the right one more quickly.) (he also helps to provide reference about the route choice, pretty helpful.) Nice view and nice breakfast: when you have breakfast, the mountain can be seen from the window, the orange juicy and fruit sauce is pretty good, i like the fried eggs too. They provide a good opening for your hiking.) Pretty good bed mat! The mattress is so comfortable i felt good after one night sleep.

Garbage can is too small in the bathroom, however it's okay because they will clean it everyday. Might be a little bit noice if someone live next to your room when they get out of the door, but it's okay because generally this happened when you wake up.

Simplesmente maravilhoso, o funcionário Santiago é maravilhoso, muito atencioso, nos recomendou o melhor lugar pra avistarmos o Fitz Roy, alem de nos deixar com o quarto superior pra termos uma melhor vista. Pelo que percebi ele fala varias linguas, o que é maravilhoso pros turistas. Quarto maravilhoso, super quentinho, cama macia, lugares pra colocar mala e pendurar roupas. Amazing place to stay in El Chalten! Highly recommended to everyone who is interested in combining comfort with a true hiking community atmosphere! Located at the center of El Chalten with a close proximity to all the stores and restaurants. Santiago the manager deserves a big shout-out for how well he performs his duties! You just can't beat how knowledgeable he was of all the trails, weather conditions and basically all the information you can possibly need while planning your time in and around El Chalten! Santiago was always super kind and willing to share his insights with fellow hikers. The rest of the team super helpful as well. You could tell how much the staff cares about hospitality overall - lots of great details like e.g.complimentary snacks or tea in hallways or a possibility to book a transfer to the beginning of some trails at a very affordable price. Although breakfasts could definitely be more varied, they were quite satisfactory as for the Argentinian standards (ham, cheese, yogurts, scrambled eggs etc.) Totally cool Fitz Roy view from the window!

Sebastian and Nicolas were incredibly helpful and provided extremely useful information and advice related to hiking and weather in El Chaltén! They really made our stay extraordinary and we appreciated their readiness to help very much!

They were very helpful with everything from planning hikes based on weather to finding us an alternate accommodation when our flights changed. They were amazing and great breakfast!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Santiago, the owner, was the most helpful and knowledgeable host we had in Argentina, he was incredibly helpful for us to plan our 3 days in El Chaltén according to the weather. He recommended exactly the best hikes and activities at the right time. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and even for activities in El Calafate. They lent us sticks for our hikes. There was tea, coffee, fruit and cakes available and complimentary all day! Yummy banana bread and chocolate cake! This is the best place to stay in El Chaltén for sure. Cumbres Nevadas highly contributed to an unforgettable stay in El Chaltén.

The room was too hot

Everything stems from Santiago, the owner/manager, who is fantastic - always helpful and full of advice. The hotel is ideal for hikers, friendly and comfortable and everything is sparkling clean. The food is excellent, with nice touches such as home made cakes when you get in from your hike. Kettles and hot drinks available at all times. Quiet location but close to several excellent restaurants.

Sound proofing in the rooms could be better, but think that Santiago is addressing this over the next few months. This did not impact on our overall experience - everything else is first-rate.

Great location, super close to trailheads. Santiago was such a welcoming host and was wonderful. He went above and beyond with helping us with places to check out and answering all our questions.

Santiago, the hosteria's manager, was a gem and why I gave it a 9 rating vs an 8, which it would have been without his enthusiasm for the guests, his knowledge about the area, trails and weather--the small reception area had a large screen for windguru+ and trail maps. Before arriving, he was quick to answer my questions via Booking messaging about trails, etc. The location was great too, about an 8 minute walk from the bus terminal, 10 to 15 minute walks to trailheads, one block from my favorite restaurant, Curcuma (veg), easy walks to other restaurants and "supermarkets." So location also bumped it to the 9 rating. Breakfast was standard fare for the area, the room rate comparable for the town. The small siting area a nice place to meet other guests. Late afternoon sweets and coffee/tea.

The walls were thin-ish so I could hear chatter down the hall from the front siting area in the late evening. I'm not sure if there was a posted quiet time, that would help (10p?). And the bathroom mirror and lighting were terribly unflattering, egads!

Nice lobby bar where you can seat, take a free coffee and read a book.

The room was a little bit too small and it was quite hot. I saw better interiors, but it had everything you need.

Kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit einem guten Frühstück. Wir konnten aus unserem Fenster den Fitz Roy sehen. Für unsere Wanderungen konnten wir uns glücklicherweise Wanderstöcke ausleihen.

El personal fue muy atento en todo momento especialemte Augustina y Santiago nos ayudaron con tips de ruta, a que hora salir , clima de cada hike, la habitacion estaba limpia y el desayuno fue muy bueno en lo personal más que suficiente y tienen servicio de café a lo largo del día.

Tuvimos un cambio de itinerario y desafortunadamente no habia mas habitaciones que la que esta al lado de recepcion y comedor , nosotros no tuvimos inconveniente con el ruido durante la tarde pero si eres muy sensible solo asegura una habitacion en el segundo piso

Établissement très confortable avec des chambres spacieuses et très propres. Très bon petit déjeuner avec d’excellentes pâtisseries. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil de cet hôtel. Le personnel de l’accueil est très serviable et n’hésite pas à nous conseiller sur les randonnées à faire selon les prévisions météo et notre niveau et à nous orienter. Nous recommandons vraiment cette adresse.

Santiago at the front desk was amazing! He gave us a full slate of activities, and what to do on which day, based on weather. Breakfast items were continually replenished. Daily housekeeping was very good.

Price was a little high, but so is everything in El Chaltén.

Adoramos o lugar. Acomodações confortáveis, limpas e muito bem localizadas. O Gerente Samuel se mostrou extremamente solícito e nos deu dicas maravilhosas a respeito das trilhas, onde comer e as melhores opções do que fazer em El Chalten. Além disso, nos dava as dicas sobre a previsão do tempo todos os dias.

Talvez no futuro, investir um pouco na acústica das portas das acomodações, para um maior conforto. Mas isso não seria fator preponderante para não escolher de novo a pousada.
