Although there is convenient free public parking right outside the hotel, all but one space was taken when we arrived. There is a spacious pay car-park nearby, though it’s expensive to use.

The only issues were that the wifi was intermittent and the mobile signal weak indoors, and that there was no storage space in our small room. For our two night stay this was not a big problem but would have been for a longer holiday. It would have helped if our cases could have fitted under the bed but we had to keep stepping over them!

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Die Lage ist toll (unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Meerblick nehmen). Das Haus ist wunderbar maritim eingerichtet, das passt zu dem historischen Charm des Gebäudes. Da es ein altes Haus ist, sind die Zimmer klein aber völlig ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Wir waren in der Nachsaison unterwegs, deshalb war das Parken kein Problem.
Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich aber ausreichend.

Durchgelegene Matratze. Unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer (Hund?), hochfloriger Teppichboden. Frühstücksbuffet sehr überschaubar. Duschwanne nicht barrierefrei und zeitgemäß, ohne Haltegriffe. Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Salle du petit déjeuner agréable toujours avec vue sur la mer, buffet bien fourni. Un petit salon face à l'accueil avec documentions, journal... Personnels aimables. Il a été facile de se garer gratuitement près de l'hôtel pourtant un WE du 15 août.
Une promenade le long de la mer a été aménagé face à l'hôtel, ce qui est plutôt positif, le problème est que des jeunes s'y retrouvent le soir et peuvent faire la fête toute la nuit. L'hôtel n'est pas en cause mais pas les journées chaudes, nous dormons fenêtres ouvertes !

We particularly appreciated the beautiful view from our room (towards the Ile de Batz) and the fact that the hotel is located right on the sea front and pretty much in the centre of Roscoff.

Un petit-déjeuner traditionnel, sans plus, qui gagnerait à changer un peu tous les deux jours par exemple quand on reste comme nous plusieurs nuits. Un cake, une brioche en plus pour varier. Et plus varié en salé.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Nous avons réservé une chambre à l'hôtel Aux Tamaris pour deux nuits sur le site de l'hôtel dont les photos présentaient un bel hôtel avec de belles chambres. Qu'elle ne fut pas notre déception à notre arrivée lorsque nous avons récupéré notre chambre ; située au 3eme étage sous les combles, de petite surface et avec un lit en 140. Nous avons tout de suite fait savoir à l'hôtelier que cette chambre ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions réservé. Cette tromperie sur le produit vendu via Booking.com ainsi que la qualité de l'hôtel au vues des moquettes de l'escalier qui étaient usées et autres détails peu qualitatifs, nous ont contraint d'annuler notre réservation pour chercher ailleurs, avec toutes les difficultés que cela représente la veille d'un week-end à 15h. L'hôtelier n'a pas souhaité nous rembourser pour un montant de 220€ partant du principe que l'on était hors délais. Ce manque de professionnalisme est extrêmement décevant pour être souligné et partagé.

Nous avions des chambres dans des bungalows à l’arrière de l’établissement, ce que nous n’avions pas compris en réservant. Nous avons donc été déçu car l’hôtel avait une très bel apparence avec des pierres bretonnes, mais nous n’étions pas logé dans ce corps de bâtiment.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Lovely location overlooking the sea (although our bedroom was at the back with no view at all); parking spaces directly opposite (no charge). Close to shops and restaurants. Passcode for entry after 8pm
Room was small and quite warm; breakfast not served before 7.30am so not good for morning ferry. Little pricey in comparison to similar hotels.

Regrettably this proved to be a very disappointing visit. The entire ground floor had been taken over by a film crew for the duration. We were told that they were ' making a movie' !! Several large vehicles occupied the free parking spaces outside the hotel so we had to pay for daytime and late night parking some distance away - walking our luggage for some distance. The lounge was occupied by the film crew and on one occasion I was told to wait for several minutes on the stairs because a ' shot ' was being taken. Why were we not told in advance about the severe disruption ? Apparently the crew were to be there for several days - a good job that we were moving on the next day. We have enjoyed stays at this hotel in the past - but - will obviously think twice before doing so again. The ' manager ' was very polite but sadly offered no recompense or adequate explanation.. The room and facilties were clean and welcoming.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Die tolle Lage gegenüber der L'Isle de Batz, das schöne kleine Hotel und das nette Personal. Roscoff hat einen schönen botanischen Garten unweit des Hafens.
Da gibt es nichts.
