Hotel Abest Meguro

Convenient location from the station

I booked a non-smoking room, but it smelled heavily of cigarettes. The room had a damp feeling.

Location is great! And the staff are very polite and helpful

It is not the newest but it was clean

In der Nähe war ein toller Bäcker.

Sauberkeit war nicht vorhanden. Die Betten waren von sehr schlechter Qualität.

close to train station

Location is great. Decently spacious. Staff were great. Amenities were good. For the most part, clean.

I have never seen a couch in any accommodation so putrid. It was actually bizarre to me how this could be left as is. There is no way anyone in their right mind would sit on this. As the first hotel in my trip to Japan, i was left wondering if this was going to be normal. Nope. This was definitely unique. If cannot clean, get rid of it. Photos cant actually do justice. Apart from this, dont let it deter you. I assume this is a wone off gone under the radar, as everything else was clean and presentable.

Posizione e gentilezza del personale

Struttura datata.

Location was terrific, very close to the train station; breakfast was tasty and the dining room comfortable; the bedroom (2 single beads) was spacious; the staff were friendly.

Hotel decor was quite tired looking and the bedroom furnishings were a bit tatty. Also there seemed to be permanent fluff on the carpet in the corners. The hotel really could do with a refurbishment.

The location was amazing. Cozy, quiet, and close to the train station. Also surrounded by everything you could need store wise. Would stay here again!

The only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom. It was old and musty, and also had what looked like small mold spots all over the ceiling.

The location was great—very close to the metro, and the hotel is right in front of the Donki store. The staff were very accommodating and spoke good English. Even the two grannies who prepared breakfast were very friendly. The hotel also has a coin laundry and they have lots of manga collection in the lobby.

The hotel is pretty old, and since we stayed there during winter, there was no heating in the room, so it was freezing. There’s no complimentary water in the room, but they do offer unlimited coffee, tea, and water on the 3rd floor. The only downside is if you’re too lazy to go there, you have to bring your own water back to your room so you don’t keep going back and forth. We also had to pay extra for blankets and bedding even though we booked a room for three people.

I only liked the lication, very close to Meguro station, just in walking distance

not for family for sure. I asked for non smoking room but got smoking room and was told to use air freshener or something

The staff were extremely polite and helpful in all aspects. The room was very clean and I loved the SDG aspect.

No complaints.

Location

Old needs maintenance

The bed was sooo comfortable and the location is nice. The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

Great location, cheap and fine.

All the rooms are smoking rooms so it does smell a bit rank. The interiors really could do with a 21st century update, but totally fine.

Old and cheap, good location but very modest

Older hotel ready for updating. AC wasn't that cold and the hall was was hot without AC.

The location is fantastic - 1 minute walk to Meguro Station and surrounded by convenient shopping and dining. The staff is friendly and professional. Wifi is strong only in the lobby area. Wifi in the room is very weak and useless. The room is clean but well worn - and needs upgrading.

Location ,very friendly and helpful staff.

No tea coffee in the room. Cleaning could be better .

Location

Toilet is disgusting. Lots of dust everywhere especially under the bed.
