Darren and his team are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food at dinner and breakfast was great quality and there was a friendly buzz in the bar. Fine range of teas, coffees, biccies etc. provided in the room and the bed was very comfortable - just what you want after a long day's hike!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Wheatsheaf. I'm not good at sleeping in strange beds, but was immediately comfortable and slept well. Staff were very friendly. Lots of choice at breakfast and very tasty. Easy parking, lovely garden. Ideal location for pottering around Ingleton and doing the Waterfalls Trail. There was a live band on the Friday night, which I knew about in advance as I had looked at their FB page. The band was good and the crowd was friendly, and it finished about 10:30pm, so was a total bonus for our trip. We had a good meal there before the band (was very happy to get red cabbage with the steak & ale pie as it's a favourite of mine!).
Check-in is supposed to be open until 11pm. We were enjoying a pub quiz in a village a few miles away when I got a call to say that as they were quiet they would be closing at 10pm that night. I felt a bit 'told off' and obliged to hurry back by 10pm, which spoilt the end of the quiz for us - we had been having a lovely time. If this happens fairly frequently I think check-in time should be officially changed to 10pm so people can plan in advance.
In need of a coat of paint - looking a bit tired
Every single staff who we seen and interacted with where absolutely lovely. They all where so friendly and helpful
Nothing it was perfect for what I wanted
Lovely place,, food excellent. The service from the staff was great. Very clean , definitely would go back . Well done wheatsheaf full stars

Staff are ever so friendly and helpful Room was clean and comfy Breakfast was superb
Nothing
Amazing value for money. Pub and a dinner in the same building. Great food, atmosphere and lube quiz!
The room was a little small but still very good.
Room was as described, well equipped, tastefully decorated, warm and cosy with good range of coffee/tea/hot chocolate making facilities & sweet treat. Bathroom had a large shower with clean towels and toiletries. All staff were welcoming and chatty showing us to our room and answering our questions. The english breakfast options were very comprehensive with a combo of cereals, bread, hot drinks on self-service + hot options to follow. My Dinner option of Ham, Eggs & chips was very good. Weekly very popular Quiz going on in main bar and were asked if we wanted to join in, no pressure. Bike store.
Thought the Dinner menu was nothing special, designed to be easily cooked, bit pricey for basic meals. Disappointed that the Steak & Ale Pie was not homemade so chose differently and that Desserts were uninspiring.
Good location for what we needed
Absolutely nothing to complain about
Breakfast was excellent and the location was very good inflecting was superb
Slightly better lighting
Friendly and extremely helpful staff
Comfortable room, pet friendly & nice food
Great location abd lovely staff. Delicious food in the bar too. Perfect for refuelling and resting after an outdoor weekend.
The bathroom was a littlw tired...could do to be refurbished.
Location & dining room
Needed a freshen up in many areas, some lights not working in room - not checked before arrival
Ingleton is a lovely location and the Wheatsheaf is a really lovely place to stay.
The wheatsheaf Inn was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Didn't have a bad night sleep whilst we were there. Will definitely be coming back again,👍👍😁
Nothing
Lovely decorated room with everything you need. Friendly staff & the most delicious hot breakfast. Easy parking & great location in the village
It was cosy and in a perfect spot to do the waterfalls
The ceiling paper was peeling a little bit.
Room was excellent as we're the staff, and location was perfect for our purpose of visiting and the breakfast was good.
Bit pricey for 1 night and the evening meal was sent back as part of it was cold and not as specified on the menu.
入住酒店,在酒吧点餐,米饭🍚吃了几口,里面有纸(异物)后来服务员更换新的食物,白色浴巾有污迹,希望酒店提高服务 管理好厨房卫生🙁
浴巾一定要干净,不能有污渍
Lovely beer garden & nice decor
We only stayed the night - literally! Picked up our key at 3 …because we could not get into Room until 4 ? & we had to go somewhere to meet friends for 4 - so was a bit inconvenient & we did not want to pay the extra for early book-in as we were not staying “in” anyways!! When we did arrive later at night all was good - comfy bed etc & breakfast was great
Great location. Lots of character. Comfortable room. Breakfast excellent.
Friday night band was noisy but finished at 10.30pm. Food portions were far too big for us. Would have preferred to pay less for smaller portions.
Nice Rooms, nice Pub, nice Town
Friendly helpful staff. Good food. Nice room. Perfect location.
Digital TV apps not working. Could dobwith slightly more comfortable pillows/duvet
Busy and friendly place in good location. Village is interesting. Room good size and clean.
Breakfast staff could do with training on when to clear tables. Bit of a faff as empty plates not removed before hot food served. Good waiters do not go back to kitchen empty handed.
The location is great! It was chose for the event attended in area, Food good!!
Not really suitable for anyone with a walking disability!! Rooms were up stairs!! It’s a pub not a hotel so the facilities are not that good!
Easy and clean. Decent food. Lovely location.
One of the twin mattresses needed to be updated. Bed springs too close to skin.
Gluten free options
The location, staff and bar food were all excellent.
Our room was a little on the small side but adequate for our needs for one night.
Luved the modern look to place
Lovely overnight stay. Room very clean. Excellent breakfast & all staff very friendly.

Excellent staff, great breakfast and a comfortable room.
Ran out of some meals before we could get seated Shortage of sockets in useful places in room
Fabulous location and a great traditional inn with good food and ale.
Breakfast was very good and offered different quantities to suit everyone's needs. The meat was good quality and flavoursome.
There was nothing to dislike
Great location.
Lovely pub and staff very nice and friendly and great wildlife friendly beer garden . Food was very tasty and well cooked we had steak and it was just how we like it and breafast was really nice too would recommend staying and the car parking was easy and large
Bathroom needs TLC
Wonderful location, good food menu, great breakfast, and good atmosphere in the bar. Very reasonable price.
The lack of a welcome. Offhand staff at dinner and lack of attention to residents. The mattress felt in need of replacement.
Super-friendly staff. A clean, comfy room in a beautiful location. Our food was delicious - I recommend the falafel burger. Great beer.
Location and value
Slightly tired
Great breakfast, good ingredients, lovely cooking.
Location, bar, restaurant, parking.
A little dowdy and the rooms in need of a refurb.
Clean, comfy bed, good shower quiet and excellent breakfast Large car park
Oven chips with majority of dishes on menu
Room was clean and smart. Staff very friendly. Breakfast exceptional. Plenty of parking
every thing about our stay from when we arrived early, and told that we could go straight to the room, to when we left the staff couldn't be more welcoming or helpfull
there was nothing that we could complain about.
1) Spacious private car park 2) Friendly and welcoming staff 3) Good WiFi 4) Nice pub food
Rather meagre take-away breakfast
Quiet, comfortable, good facilities, great food and staff.
Clearly understaffed although I can see they’re recruiting. Waitress was excellent and working very hard but service was slow.
Location, room was comfortable and quiet. Lovely beer garden. Staff friendly and welcoming
Bathroom dated and some dust around the room on the beams and headboard
Lovely pub the food was lovely can not fault it,staff are lovely on a Monday night there is a pub quiz which we joined in
The road closures around Yorkshire we got lost took us over three hours to get here
Location and beer garden
Not much room to manoeuvre around the beds.
Convenient location, off road parking, helpful staff.
The bathroom was a little dated and there was a damp patch high up on the bedroom wall also a small stain on the carpet.
Staff is very good and friendly
Can’t say it was a good place to stay
Great Location , good food, friendly staff
Good location Friendly staff Very quiet and comfortable
Good cooked breakfast, comfortable room and a welcoming vine
It was loud with a band till 10:30 and then people leaving till 11:30. Really annoying
Location, food, car park
Ambience, food, service, friendliness and location for what we wanted
Great staff! Very welcoming atmosphere. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Great location
Although the shower was lovely and hot the water pressure was not very strong
Breakfast very good
Mattress a bit soft
Brilliant
The staff were brilliant, the room was a good size as was the bathroom and very pleasant and comfortable. The food was great, the curry in particular was wonderfully fragrant.
Nice pub atmosphere - friendly staff & I accidentally left my laptop in my room, but they rang me promptly so I was able to go back and pick it up
At breakfast, I asked a latte - but was told the machine wasn’t on. So, they have a barista machine but can’t be bothered to put it on in the morning. I really was not impressed by that.
Good location in quiet village. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast bag for early Y3P start was a lovely touch. Comfy beds and great tea and coffee selection in the room.
Some of the best food i have ever tasted.
The Room next door were so loud it sounded like they were going to coming through the wall.. I reckon others will say the same.
Great location for walking the three Peaks. Very friendly staff & nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was lovely & liked they offered ‘lite bites’ if you didn’t want a massive dinner.
Breakfast - bacon was rather overcooked. Tea / coffee in the room was not automatically replenished, however we were given no problem when we asked
Great location, friendly staff
Clean tidy spot on
Madri price was a bit steep
Large comfortable room. Good location. Friendly staff.
Chef wouldn’t swap chips for a salad for the steak meal without having to pay extra.
The room, the evening meal, the breakfast, the staff, the tea coffee and hot chocolate in the room, the location
Would have preferred boiling water for breakfast tea rather than a flask/airpot
Comfy. Pub with excellent food.
Location, food was excellent and staff was polite and friendly!
Clean, nicely decorated room like on the photographs. Fabulous breakfast and great dinner in the evening. The place met fully my expectations as per the reviews Beautiful countryside.
Totally professional and very friendly service, particularly from Tiff, Ella and Tracey. Well done.
Convenient, clean, nice bar.
Bathroom toilet was a bit of a tight sit.
Great place to stop overnight travelling home from Scotland near M6, lovely village location, free parking, adjoining beer garden. Delicious breakfast included in price with dietary preferences available. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very minor point but the bathroom door didn’t close properly in our room, not a problem for us but maybe for others.
Central location. Convenient for touring the Dales.
Staff welcoming, rooms modern and clean. Location of the property good and parking no problem.
Every thing was just fine.

Location perfect. Outstanding Breakfast. Staff friendly.
Nothing
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and quality of produce was excellent. The breakfast room was lovely and the service was great.
Room was not well sound proofed so the noise from the bar/restaurant was audible in the room which affected our evening as we were unable to relax.
Friendly helpful staff, good food, warm inviting atmosphere.
Bed was not the comfiest. Rooms were clean but stairs and hallway were not to our standard.
Lovely countryside hotel, excellent food. A fabulous weekend stay with friends
Nothing
Great food, good beer, bustling atmosphere
Breakfast was lovely, nice food .very dog friendly.
Only gripe was someone slamming their door after bar closed, woke us and dogs up.
This Inn was perfect for me and my two dogs. We needed a complete break away from life (a nasty cold!!) and Ingleton came up trumps. The Wheatsheaf is sooo dog friendly, I felt really welcomed despite my puppy being 6 months and a little barky. The area around Ingleton is beautiful and there are easy trails to follow to waterfalls, ghylls and caves. The staff could not have been kinder - they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, I was able to get fresh milk for my room, there were a nice range of hot drink sachets and the bed was very comfy. Top marks from me, and I'm very fussy!!!
Nothing.
Everything. Location was perfect. Staff were lovely. Room was spacious and clean. Great choice of breakfast and Everything delicious. Had an evening meal which was also really good. Very dog friendly, even in the restaurant. A band playing on Friday night added to our enjoyment, they were brilliant. The locals were also very friendly. We had a marvellous time. Big thanks to the staff, you are all lovely.
Absolutely nothing.
Good location
The mattress was very uncomfortable. And should be replaced. The shower was extremely slippery there is no grip and was quite dodgy at times
