Location staff good all amazing.
The room are a little tired, the bathroom definitely needs a revamp.
Great for a stop over
Nothing
The food was excellent.
Peaceful, nice location, very friendly staff, popular with locals and tourists alike.
There was nothing not to like.
Lovely countryside pub
Staff were 5*
Room was great and breakfast was delicious
No door for toilet and shower room 😂
Gorgeous 1 night stay We went to walk the falls and had a night stay at the Marton arms afterwards.
Close to the waterfalls, 5 minute drive. Very welcoming staff, lovely room, clean and comfortable, everything that was needed for a short stay and accommodated our dog 🐶 Lovely meal in the pub restaurant and nice breakfast also which was included Overall a lovely stay and would definitely stay again
Lovely location food was excellent and pub was gorgeous
2nd time here love how friendly and attentive and welcoming this place is. Highly recommend staying here. Food is excellent.
What a find! We have just returned from a two night stay. What a fabulous place to stay in an idyllic location. Our room was very clean and comfortable .The staff were extremely efficient, very friendly and helpful .Breakfast was wonderful . We booked for dinner both nights and wow it was amazing . Compliments to the chef 😋😋
That we couldn't stay longer.
Having booked a deluxe twin room I was disappointed to find that it was rather small and, most importantly, that the shower and toilet had no door. Before we arrived I had explained that I was sharing with my son and they never mentioned that the facilities were ‘open plan’. Since writing the review I now understand that The Marton Arms have had problems with booking.com providing extra information about our particular room. I understand their frustration. I would like to stress that, apart from the open plan nature of our room, we had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere of the pub in the evening, when we returned for a drink, was lovely. The rural setting, adjacent to the church, is very picturesque. We will definitely return when visiting family.
Breakfast & evening meals were very good. Location good
Bedroom still in process of being completed with paintwork behind wash basin incomplete, taps loose, wall plaster incomplete down edge adjacent to tiling in shower recess; wall tiling adhesive not wiped off vanity base unit door. But most unusual was that the bedroom lead directly into WC/Shower room with no door; no privacy when using facilities! Also, more serious, the Sherlock Room is accessed via 2no individual doors which appear to be supposed to be Fire Doors, one with automatic door closer chain, & smoke strip to edge but door held back by door stop, next door not fitted with door closer or smoke strips. This latter door allowed/restricted access from our room in a manner which caused an obstruction when leaving the landing outside of our room. This meant that you opened the door into a lobby, 1 x1m, then had to close it so you could exit the second fire door. This lobby gave access to our room and another. This means in the case of an emergency both sets of occupants could need to open this door to exit. I would be surprised if this meets Fire Regs.
Good food, comfortable bed and friendly staff.
Nothing.
Clean - great staff - great food- good selection of drinks/ food - great views.
Four poster bed dominated the room making it appear smaller than it was.
Staff lovely friendly, restaurant food is amazing all locally produced
nothing
Beautiful area, staff were kind and helpful even though the pub itself was busy staff were willing to help you if you asked the right person, however some of the younger staff (waitresses) don’t seem to realise there is people staying on the property that might ask for some assistance. So maybe some training might be needed. Food was amazing but very pricey.
The room itself was falsely advertised as new and updated by booking.com NOT marton arms themselves but the family room was comfortable and what we needed for a weekend stay. However this room needs an update, some plug sockets don’t work at all, the shower room has visible black mould in places, the wardrobes are outdated and take up too much room, and the tv is place where only one side of the room can see it.
Very good choice at breakfast. Excellent evening meal.
Nothing. Everything was great. Friendly helpful staff.
Stunning location
quirky and comfortable for us all and welcome pack for our dog
Breakfast was really good. Quality was excellent. Yogurt and home made granola was really tasty
Our room was next to the boiler which was switching on and off all night.
Lovely hotel. Great choice at breakfast. Room and public areas decorated beautifully and very clean. Bed and pillows comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.
Our room was very nice and the breakfasts were very good quality. The staff were very polite and attentive making for a very welcoming stay
The shower was a very poor drainer and we were concerned about it overflowing
All clean and comfortable, some parts are having a refurbishment but didn't really affect our stay. Staff very friendly. The place was close to areas we were visiting so all was good and convenient.
Wanted to stay longer but was all fully booked
Lovely pub with great food and Jeremy Clarkson lager was very tasty! Great location to go to the Ingleton falls trail. Very quiet at night just the gentle clock chimes from the church opposite.
Only a couple of things. The bathroom light in room one kept going off. Just needs bulb replacing. Also my girlfriend didn't like the fact that the dressing table didn't have a mains socket next to it to plug in the hairdryer. Luckily her cable could be stretched from the kettle area to the dressing table but others might struggle if the cable is not long enough in their hairdryers.
Fabulous location. Great real ale and lovely food
Nothing
Great location for Ingleton village and the waterfalls walk. Homely atmosphere in the pub and outdoor spaces - staff were really welcoming, helpful and all offered great service. Food exceptional and good value. Great drinks selection on offer. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was an unexpected treat. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Our dog got a welcome pack, which was also a lovely touch.
Nothing
Rooms were comfortable, it was in an idyllic location and the staff were attentive, efficient and engaging
Shower a bit small
Lovely Inn - great food, with a good buzz. Location is beautiful, quiet, next to the church, on cycling routes and perfect for The Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Excellent Breakfast
Food is amazing. Bed really comfortable and it’s a quiet location opposite the church
Room was a bit dated but clean
The location is excellent
We had been there before, so there was nothing I did not like
The Marton arms has been in and out of my life since the early 70’s so before all the letting rooms were built. Weekly disco were held and it was the place where ‘Pot Holers’ hung out, it has always been a busy hub. I have introduced many people over the years to the Marton’s I have seen many landlords come and go, it remains a special place for me, with many fond memories.
It remains the same.
Clean and modern looking

Gorgeous countryside pub, staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and the room was lovely with very comfy bed. Food in the pub was also amazing
Lovely friendly and pieceful place. Made us feel very welcome. This place gets 5 star from us and we will be regulars returning. Lovely room with our own courtyard for the dog, love how dogs are made welcome even my Great Dane will be visiting next time with us. Thank you to all the staff.
Beautiful room, friendly welcome and stunning food and absolute perfect stay.

In a nice area close to Yorkshire Moors. Lovely old inn. Nice restaurant and evening meal. We both had smoked salmon with scrambled egg on toast.
Very small and archaic shower and black mould on the ceiling and around the shower and dirty on the outside base of the shower. Double bed was very uncomfortable. One bedside table. Carpet not hoovered and when mentioned to owner and it was vacuumed the whole room stunk of dog. Looked nothing like the rooms online. Very limited breakfast menu. Toast cold and barely cooked. No jam or marmalade and no pastries put out ready.
Location was perfect. Food options and quality were excellent too. Staff were very friendly.
Nothing disappointed us.

Loved this place the restaurant was fantastic, bar was nice, beer garden stunning, great location.
Our room was a bit dated, booked last minute, ended up in the attic, room was clean though.
Location, service and food.
The en-suite was a little tired and the extractor/heating supply was noisy. It was situated below our window.
Warm and welcoming modernised bar restaurant. Friendly helpful staff , good gluten free options and excellent breakfast. Good location for exploring the area.
Our upgraded Bedroom was quite basic and the soft lumpy mattress due for replacement. Bathroom was cold with vinyl floor tiles and electric shower cubicle was small ( no bath) . Specials on menu were good but expensive for this type of pub restaurant
The location, beer, and room were great, the staff and food were excellent. We had a lovely night at the Marton Arms with our dog and we could not fault it. What a gem.
Nothing!!!
Friendly staff, fabulous food and rooms
Nice quiet location
Bed very small
Staff were very nice and pleasant. Bed was comfy and room was lovely and warm
Very noisy from underneath our room. Sounded like a generator or something going off then on and humming loudly. Loud bang when it went off, sounded like something was hitting the bed! Didn’t sleep well because of the noises
Our guest room was spacious and newly decorated and furnished. It was tastefully styled and felt in keeping with the pub. En-suite was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.
My wife had some trouble sleeping in the night due to a security light beaming through the bathroom window and the glass on the door. We mentioned this to the lady on reception, we presume the owner, and she thanked us for the feedback and said she would install a blind.
Location was beautiful, room was lovely, both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. The personalised touches for the dog were very much appreciated.
Only downside was the shower was not very hot and we were right above maybe a kitchen - a loud noise woke us up a couple of times - maybe a fan??
It was very comfortable and staff brilliant. We had a meal there with family and we all enjoyed it. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice
Nothing. So much so we’ll be visiting here again.
Excellent service by the staff. Breakfast and dinner was exceptional. Location was ideal with walking routes straight from the doorstep.
The room was comfortable and nice however it was little tired especially the bathroom. It was what we expected and served its purpose and would definitely return.
Staff very friendly and helpful food was good
The flooding in the shower room does need attention
Our stay at the property was amazing. The location was great, and the food was delicious. Heather and the staff at Marton arms were all so lovely and helpful, definitely made our stay more enjoyable.
Great location, pub was lovely, food is amazing and the staff are incredible, so helpful and friendly.
Ver characterful, clean, tidy and comfortable.
We booked last minute for a one night stay and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The location, just outside of Ingleton, perfect to be away from busier areas but only 5 minutes to the start of our walk up Ingleborough Fell! Very friendly and attentive staff, a lovely cosy room and extremely dog friendly. The food was excellent, we had the shin beef suet pudding which was delicious; breakfast was amazing too, with everything you could ask for, and even some treats for the dog. We will definitely be back!
Incredibly friendly and welcoming team
Small TV
Food was amazing tbh Beer was lovely Room was lovely

Absolute gem perfect for the location
Comfortable and clean. Helpful friendly staff and good food.
Nothing!
The staff were brilliant- friendly and efficient The location was fab. The bar and restaurant lovely and welcoming
The bathroom wasn’t clean and the toilet didn’t flush properly
The Marton Arms is a lovely country pub with a rustic feel. The staff were very welcoming and obviously took pride in what they did. Our room was recently renovated and the bed was super comfy.
The bathroom wasn't finished. There was a cable in the wall above the basin where I assume a mirror will go. The wall was painted to a point around the basin where I think tiles will go and the finishing round the shower has yet to be completed. The area outside the room was under construction but perhaps they could have told us! When I pay £180 for one night I would expect the room to be perfect.
Felt rooms could be updated
Breakfast was excellent, location good, room was very clean and comfortable
Breakfast was fabulous as was the location; staff pleasant and attentive, the pub itself very cosy with a nice beer garden. Good hot shower.
Saggy lumpy mattress. I tried sleeping on floor instead but it was dirty, carpet badly needed sweeping, and the noise from the big ventilation /extractor fan just outside in the back yard was very intrusive.
Beautiful pub serving excellent food and beer. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely village pub in a beautiful location
Clean & good food evening meal Good breakfast
Shower hot and cold / hole near shower - floor board needs mending.
Lovely pub with a warm and welcoming feel. The food is great! The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed for a good stay.
Our room had a few things that needed attention. Shower wasn’t very hot. The owners are aware and they explained that they had someone coming in to fix the small issues. Nothing that ruined the stay though.
Nice comfy bedroom. Friendly helpful staff. A little bit more expensive than other places we have stayed which had better rooms, but excellent dinner menu and service and accommodated my cows' milk allergy very well.
Gorgeous decor, lovely room, great view, very friendly and attentive staff
The shower took some mastering
Welcoming old Inn with clean, warm bedrooms on a cold winter night; a busy & fabulous old bar & dining area. Great selection of beers, wines & a super food menu
Nothing
Gorgeous place
Very old & quirky. We had an attic room which was small but had everything in we needed. Bed was comfortable and beautiful original beams. Staff were so friendly and was lovely to have our room lovely and warm with dimmed lights and TV on all homely on our arrival. Food was fabulous in restaurant and such a lovely knowledgable restaurant manager. Would definitely recommend this place. Lovely stay.
Slanted ceiling in attic room - bounced my head off it once or twice!!
Lovely location in a quiet village opposite an impressive church with an interesting history. The food ( evening meal and breakfast) was of high quality with excellent service.
Genuine old pub, sympathetically updated, comfortable rooms and excellent food. Book the restaurant its very popular!
Lovely weekend, especially our evening meal in the Restaurant.
we had a lovely time, staff and food lovely, breakfast and coffee wonderful, little goodie bag for our dog too, which was a lovely touch
The staff, restaurant and food were very good
Our bed mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. This was a dog friendly hotel but unfortunately our room smelled of damp dogs
Breakfast excellent. Great location
Beautiful old property
Bathroom is a little run down
