Please note that Rigi Kaltbad is a car-free village. You can reach Rigi Kaltbad by rack railway from Vitznau or Arth Goldau, or by cable car (only in good weather) from Weggis. The latter is the easiest option as the cable car station is located right next to the hotel.

j'ai été très surprise quand le 2ème jour ma chambre n'a pas été nettoyée. En me renseignant à la réception, la dame me dit c'est normal, nous nettoyons les chambres que tous les 2 jours !!!!!!! J'ai jamais vu cela dans un hôtel !!!!!!!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Posizione paradisiaca, architettura della struttura, avere terme e SPA nell’ albergo, comodità per la stazione del trenino e punto di partenza di bellissime passeggiate, ottima colazione in una sala panoramica.
Le varie mail inviate prima dell arrivo erano inutilizzabili: prive dei link per ottenere lo sconto turisti 50% per il costoso trenino, impossibile fare check on line etc. Abbiamo segnalato la cosa ma hanno rimandato le stesse mail. In struttura su nostra ferma richiesta hanno poi però risolto e abbiamo avuto il rimborso dei soldi per il trenino ( non si può arrivare con la macchina)

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Ich hatte bei der Buchung (via Booking) nicht aufgepasst: das Zimmer war ein Duplex mit einer internen Treppe, für mein rechtes Knie nicht zu bewältigen. Verfügbar war nur ein Zimmer mit Dachschräge im vierten Stock, das uns gar nicht gefiel. Wir sind sofort wieder abgereist. Die Rezeption zeigte sich unflexibel: weil wir via Booking gebucht hätten und nicht direkt, könnte man uns nicht entgegenkommen. Der bereits abgebuchte Betrag von CHF 830 verfalle. Erwartet hätte ich im mindesten einen Gutschein für einen Teilbetrag für einen nächsten Aufenthalt. So wird es sicher nie wieder einen Aufenthalt geben.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The spa is definitely worth trying. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are beautifully designed and very well organized. We were also able to access the pool area with our 8-year-old daughter, who had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options. Guests also have the possibility of dining at the hotel's restaurant in the evening. After check-out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage and even allowed us to continue using the spa facilities, which was greatly appreciated. The views are spectacular, especially from Chänzeli, which can be reached e.g. for sunset with an easy and pleasant 15-minute walk from the hotel along a comfortable trail with only gentle ups and downs. An outstanding experience overall — highly recommended!

Chambre une peu vieillotte , pourrait être modernisée au prix de la nuit. L accès à l hôtel qui ne se fait pas en voiture n était pas indiqué sur booking. 60 francs suisses le transport aller retour fait assez cher si on veut descendre visiter les villes alentours

Das Kinderessen war von schlechter Qualität. Alternativ konnte man nur ein teures Menü für Erwachsene bestellen. Einen einzelnen Gang konnte man nicht bestellen- angeblich wegen der Kasse ?! Insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Pas d'aération dans la petite salle de bains. Au lieu d'une fenêtre à forme géométrique (losange), j'aurai apprécié une baie vitrée de forme rectangulaire qui aurait permis une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de chaussons comme dans les autres hôtels spa de luxe. C'est aussi dommage que le petit-déjeuner ne peut être servi qu'à partir de 07h30 la semaine.

Das Bett. Die Matratzen waren zu klein für dieses Bett, sie sind die ganze Zeit gerutscht, was sehr störte. Ich fand es schade, dass das Personal kaum Deutsch konnte im Restaurant Kaltbad.

Reviewed May 8, 2026리기 산 중턱에서 스파를 즐길 수 있다는 점에서 추천합니다. 차를 타고 갈 수 없는 곳이라, 곤돌라나 산악기차를 타야 합니다만 그냥 Weggis에서 곤돌라 주차장에 주차하고 곤돌라로 올라가는 것이 제일 편합니다. 하루 전날 곤돌라 50% 할인권 등등을 온라인으로 보내주기는 하는데 크게 신경쓸 필요는 없습니다. 그냥 곤돌라 매표소에서 예약객 리스트를 갖고 있으므로 직접 가셔서 이름 확인 후 왕복 할인 티켓을 살 수 있습니다. 경치를 보며 깨끗한 시설에서 스파를 즐길 수 있고, 산도 좀 탈 수 있다는 점이 좋습니다. 개인적으로는 곤돌라 타기 전 아랫마을 Weggis가 아담하고 예쁘더라고요.
스파 외에 등산, 하이킹 말고는 즐길거리는 딱히 없습니다. 미니골프(유료), 놀이터 등 어린이들을 위한 시설도 있지만 아주 세련된 느낌은 아닙니다. 하이킹 좋아하시면 여기를 거점으로 다니시면 시간 보내긴 좋고요. 스파도 실내탕과 연결된 노천탕 정도로 아주 크진 않습니다. 그저 멀리 산과 호수 보며 멍 때리고 쉰다 정도로 생각하시면 만족하실 것 같습니다. (호텔 자체가 3성급이라는 점을 감안하세요)

Terme ottime, con l'unico problema nella vasca grande è difficile rilassarsi per la cacciare, per la presenza dei bambini e per il fatto di farsi l'aperitivo in piscina e la maleducazione di diverse persone a dimenticare il bicchiere.
Camere pulite ma datate, andrebbero ristrutturate.

Nachtessen mit 2/3/4 Gänge ist tricky mit Aufschlägen und einwenig intransparent.Ausserdem die Hauptgänge werden sehr kleine Portienen serviert.Auf jeder Etage steht eine Kaffeemaschine ,jedoch müssen die Kapseln an der Reception gekauft werden..Sehr unglücklich gelöst.Viele 3 Stern Hotel bieten eine Wasserwärmer mit Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer an.

Il nous est arrivé de ne trouver aucune personne à qui s’adresser pour des renseignements dans l’hôtel. Peut-être était-ce un peu la saison « creuse ». Au bar nous avons attendu un long moment avec seulement les cartes posées et personne pour prendre notre commande. Nous sommes reparties car une table nous était réservée au restaurant pour 20h30.

We booked two evening meals for a party of 9 Both evenings we had an unpleasant experience as waiter gave us conflicting information regarding our booking , what was inclusive and what was not . Upsetting and embarrassing Second evening there was a glitch in the technology and before we were seated we were told we had to pay with cash ….. immediately ? No one had cash and as we were resident we felt that was unecessary.Everyone was stressed sitting for meal.After the meal we were asked to pay immediately .We did not return to the dining room .There was no apology and no approach from management.
