Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten eine Honeymoon Suite, wirklich toll. Das Personal war super lieb, freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Sie ist hoch gelegen hat uns sportlich fit gehalten und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Vielen Dank dafür 🤩🥰

Der Gemeinschaftspool und der Strand waren nicht das was man von Thailand kennt, es sieht zwar wunderschön aus auf den Bildern, aber das Meer ist an der Stelle nicht einladen und der Gemeinschaftspool war auch nicht der Hit.

חוץ מהנוף - הכל. היו טפטופים חזקים מהמזגן שתוקנו אחרי שטכנאי היה שעה בחדר על המזגן. הייתה לטאה ענקית בחדר וכשביקשנו להוציא לא ענו לנו במשך שעתיים מהקבלה ורק הסתכלנו עליה. לא היו מים חמים בחדר ולא הצליחו לתקן וכאשר כבר ביקשנו לעבור מהחדר הכושל הזה כי לא הצליחו לתקן את המים החמים - אמרו לנו שאם מעבירים אותנו אנחנו נצטרך לישון כל יום בחדר אחר וגם לשלם אקסטרה על החדרים האלו. כשהחלטנו שאנחנו סובלים במקום יותר מנהנים ביקשנו לעזוב את המקום ולקבל החזר כספי והם אמרו שאין סיכוי. פשוט עזבנו את המקום למרות שלא קיבלנו החזר, עד כדי כך.

El lloc és increible i la nostra habitació amb unes vistes espectaculars. L’esmorzar molt abundant i davant de mar. Shuttle bus al centre però tb és una caminada agradable arran de mar

Piscina amn horari molt curt

Gli alloggi, abbiamo soggiornato sia nella villa Chompoo che nella Tretoop villa, entrambe, specialmente la seconda, spettacolari. Ottimo il ristorante.

Purtroppo la posizione sulla spiaggia di Sairee non è all’altezza. Il resort si trova nell’angolo settentrionale della spiaggia, l’acqua è marrone, torbida e maleodorante. Si percepisce fortissimo, sopratutto durante la mattina quando c’è bassa marea un fortissimo odore di scarico fognario. Noi non siamo riusciti a fare un bagno. Non so se sia la stagione, abbiamo provato a spostarci nella zona centrale della spiaggia ma cambia poco. La spiaggia stessa è sporchissima, piena di bottiglie di plastica e rifiuti. L’hotel stesso dovrebbe porre un maggiore occhio di riguardo alla manutenzione delle aree comuni come la spiaggia e la piscina.

The smell from the beach

The honeymoon cottage was absolutely incredible, staff were so lovely and accommodating and the grounds are like its own private sanctuary.

I stayed in the Koi Villa, which was beautiful and very spacious. restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The breakfast buffet was good, and we also had a very good dinner there. The location was convenient as well, being at the quieter end of the beach and within walking distance of the center of the market. I would not recommend walking along the main road to get there, though. The resort does offer a taxi for 300 baht, which is convenient.

There is no AC in the washroom, and the bedroom AC was extremely noisy while barely keeping the room cool. The room felt muggy throughout the entire night. The villa was also surprisingly noisy. You could hear the wind blowing through the cracks so loudly that it sounded like the roof was going to blow away. Hot air came in through the cracks around the doors and windows, and there were ants around the door frames. We could also hear people in the neighboring villas and people talking on the beach. I understand why earplugs were provided, but unfortunately, they didn’t solve the problem. The pool was another disappointment. It was cold and looked dirty, and after jumping in once, I didn’t feel comfortable using it again. I also didn’t see anyone cleaning the pool during our stay. There were no mosquito-repellent candles or sticks lit on the back porch, making it difficult to sit outside without constantly being bothered by mosquitoes. I didn’t want to spray repellent all over my clothes just to sit on the porch. The beach, however, was a major disappointment. There was quite a bit of trash, and the water looked too murky for swimming or snorkeling. There was also a strong dead-fish smell, and it didn’t appear that the beach was being cleaned regularly.

Overall nice stay , nice complimentary snacks and drinks were most welcome and fantastic air con !

It’s situated right at the end of the beach which can be great for the noise (depending when you go ) but it’s quite a walk . Felt like the rooms are a little dated and dark . Breakfast could do with an overhaul , area got quite messy when lots of people there . Just could do with an update !

We loved our stay here in the champoo villa with our two children (age 13 and 11). A beautiful apartment, with all the 5 star finishes you’d expect. The grounds of this hotel are beautiful- very well maintained and such a stunning vantage point. We loved the location. A stay in the jungle, despite being a short walk to all the lovely restaurants and bars of sairee beach. Free yoga classes were a bonus - beautiful yoga shack overlooking the sea. Breakfast here is a wonderful experience

Struttura molto bella, curata e molto pulita, immersa nel verde con una vista spettacolare. Stanze enormi. Terrazza con amaca, il solo suono era quello del mare e degli animali. Staff molto cortese. Ottima colazione. Abbiamo cenato lì un paio di volte e la qualità era molto buona. La posizione comoda, con 10 minuti di passeggiata sulla spiaggia si raggiunge il centro della spiaggia di Sairee, molti locali comodi per aperitivo o cena. Ma rimane isolata dal caos dell’isola. Per le varie spiagge occorre affittare scooter o taxi.

Amplierei gli orari della piscina che chiude alle 18. Maggior cura negli spazi comuni quali la piscina, la spiaggia e la reception. Come già sottolineato dai commenti asciugamani e biancheria sono puliti ma hanno odore di chiuso non piacevole. Gli asciugamani della spiaggia sono un po’ usurati.

We spent four amazing nights at Cabana Hotel, and we absolutely loved it! We stayed in a sea-view villa with a spacious bedroom, a beautiful bathroom, and an incredible view. Breakfast was delicious, and the food at the restaurant was also very tasty. The location, right on the beach, was perfect. Having a private beach exclusively for hotel guests was one of the best features. Thank you to the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. We are already looking forward to coming back!

La situation de l’hôtel, en bord de plage, est exceptionnelle, avec un décor magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le restaurant et l’espace petit-déjeuner bénéficient d’une vue magnifique sur la baie de Koh Tao. La qualité du restaurant est également à souligner : la cuisine est vraiment très bonne, avec des prix tout à fait raisonnables. C’est mon deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel et il est toujours aussi agréable. Pour moi, c’est l’un des meilleurs hôtels de Koh Tao.

Struttura meravigliosa immersa nella natura, con una vista spettacolare e accesso diretto a una bellissima spiaggia. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e molto confortevole. Ottima anche la colazione, con una buona varietà di scelta. Tutto il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi a Koh Tao.

La struttura si sviluppa su una collina e ci sono parecchie scale e salite per raggiungere alcune camere. Per noi non è stato un vero problema, ma potrebbe essere utile saperlo prima del soggiorno.

את המיקום קרוב למרכז העניינים. לקחנו חדר וילה עם נוף לים. הנוף מהמם מגישים באמצע הגונגל באחד המקומות היפים שראיתי. הצוות נהדר.

החוף יפיהפה. רק שבתקופה שהינו הים היה גלי ומלא מדוזות. אז לקחנו מונית לחופים בצד השני הרגוע. מתקנים קצת מיושנים. עיצוב מסורתי לטוב ולרע.

Just perfect place!

Que dire ! Les magnifiques pavillons sont placés sur le flanc de la montagne, où la nature est à profusion. La vue sur mer, les magnifiques salles de douches , le petit déjeuner varié , la gentillesse des employés de l’hôtel… nous avons quitté le Cabana avec un petit pincement au cœur mais nous nous sommes promis d’y retourner et cette fois-ci, pour une bonne dizaine de jours…au moins.

L’hôtel est exceptionnel. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre Honeymoon (piscine privée avec vue sur la mer), juste fabuleux ! Le restaurent est très bon, et le service très bien également. L’emplacement sur Sairee Beach est parfait.

La qualité des matelas n’est pas au RDV. J’ai également fait deux massages : lors du premier la jeune fille était incroyable, la deuxième fois la personne n’avait clairement pas envie, c’est dommage !

Top locatie en heerlijke mooi ingerichte villa. Fantastisch uitzicht bij zeer luxe ontbijt. Heerlijk aan het strand en loopafstand van het drukkere centrum. Villa geen last van geluid. Mooi zwembad. Grote badkamer, balkon. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

De villa lag erg hoog op de heuvel, dus steeds flinke klim om bij de villa te komen. Na gewenning niet erg. Te weinig ligbedden waardoor mensen al hun handdoek neerleggen om het bed na het ontbijt te claimen (verschrikkelijke mentaliteit).

Prachtig hotel op prachtige lokatie.

Sommige personeel leden minder vriendelijk. Anderen juist weet wel!

The staff who arranged the sunset deck and decorated for us was so amazing and nice!! We loved the experience. It really made our honeymoon special.

The restaurant breakfast service is great, the buffet is good and coffee comes fast. However the eggs were very much HARD boiled / over HARD. Presentations for the meals were all great. All the staff is kind and helpful. However, some of the dishes are not on par most other local places. Especially the Pad Thai and Chao soi.

Het was fantastisch! We zaten in een treehouse. Het hoogste, bovenste huis van Koh tao cabana. Dat betekend elke dag 130 traptreden, maar wat een uitzicht! Fantastisch. Elke dag gratis chips en drinken, en werd ook aangevuld. We hebben geen supermarkt nodig gehad. Alles is aanwezig. Zelfs muggenspray.

Soms afwisselend warm/ koud water. En het uitchecken duurde lang. 1 avond hoorden we idd muziek, ik denk afhankelijk van hoe de wind staat. Maar we konden gewoon slapen. Geen klamboe bij het stapelbed.

Die liebevoll gestaltete Anlage fügt sich perfekt in die Natur ein und bietet mit Sonnendeck und hauseigenem Riff ideale Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen und Schnorcheln. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das für eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre sorgt. Ein Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen – absolut empfehlenswert. 💙

Disclaimer: this is not a “subsidized” or “fake” review! Having come every year for 23 years to Thailand, this is sincere: The Koh Tao Cabana is a phenomenal resort. I’d give it six stars! Not just the setting, or the amazing and tastefully arranged villas and cottages. Or the fantastic dining choices, an opulent breakfast menu (included), or an all included and daily replenished minibar. What makes this place so great is the amazing staff. Attentive, supportive, immediately responding to any request/desire! You can sent the front desk any question, or challenge by WhatsApp and they immediately reply, and/or action on your query! The stop on Koh Tao was meant as a mere short excursion from Samui. A change of scenery. The Koh Tao Cabana and their team made us regret having only planned 3 nights and have ensured that we will come back for an extended stay. And only here!!

Vi likte beliggenheten og størrelsen på hyttene. Personalet var veldig imøtekommende både de som jobbet i resepsjonen, vaskepersonalet og de som jobbet i restauranten. Alle de ansatte gjorde sitt ytterste for at vi skal ha et supert opphold. Vi stortrivdes hele tiden vi var der og ønsker gjerne å komme tilbake

For de som liker å bo sentralt ligger dette stedet litt unna sentrum.

Stedet er et stykke unna de verste hasj og backpackersteder. Allikevel bare kort strandtur til noen gode restauranter

Superbe hôtel situé dans un cadre idyllique. Le personnel est au petit soin. Le restaurant est très bon et les prix sont corrects. La piscine est grande et des transats sont disponibles. Attention certains bungalows sont perchés et ça monte un peu pour y arriver. Mais le cadre de l’hôtel en vaut la peine . Nous avons loué les scooters par le biais de l’hôtel et le loueur est très correct.

Le seul bémol que je peux dire c’est que les rideaux ne sont pas très occultants et donc la lumière du jour a tendance à vous réveiller assez tôt . Mais sinon c’est parfait

Hôtel très bien situé dans une nature préservée au mieux. Une plage dans l’ensemble propre. Un restaurant tout-a-fait bon. Un personnel très accueillant au restaurant.

Le bruit durant la nuit des bars. Difficile de dormir. L’odeur certains jours à la plage…

Beautiful tropical gardens, fantastic pool, ‘private’ ocean beach, good restaurant with the happiest & most helpful staff. Our room was tastefully rustic/shabby chic. Fantastic bathroom! & views to die for. Wonderful resort!

Accessibility is an issue for certain rooms - uneven paving

The cabana we booked was spacious and did give off that "island" vibe you'd want for Koh Tao. The porters/ staff working on grounds were polite and friendly.

While the property had potential, there were a good few factors that really disappointed us. 1) Taxi/ Check In experience- After confirming numerous times via DMs here on Booking.com, there was no one at the boat pier to pick us up- we ended up waiting in scorching heat for 20minutes, after which we had to get a taxi ourselves which was 400 Bht. When we got to the hotel, the main receptionist was quite cold, standoff-ish. It seemed almost an inconvenience to her that we had shown up- the only thing she said directly to us was to hand her over our passports, after which she spent next 5-6 minutes fiddling around her desk in a confused look. After the other reception guy showed up I asked about the no-show taxi, and just got excuses, saying that time we arrived is when the drivers are on lunch. 2) Room- The main lock was incredibly rusty and our key broke in half trying to lock it after multiple attempts (we had flagged this our first night) The bathroom itself is very dated, with worn out floors and pretty beaten down fixtures which looked disgusting. 3) Breakfast- you have a few à la carte choices along with limited buffet options. Most times the ordered items off their ipads were cold. One of the basic orders from their menus also took 30-35 mins to be served, when we inquired about this we got a reply simply saying that one takes time (Could've been nice of the staff to let guests know if an order will take that long?) quality was quite average. 5) Hotel is unmanned + random people live on the property- The entrance is completely accessible with no barriers- to top it off, there’s no one after 10pm! There are also locals just living on the property near the reception, but for both of these points, you’re not informed about this. 6) Check out- Building upon strange behaviour and uncharacteristic-ness of this place, our check out experience was as impersonable as it could get. No thank you, no one even asked how our stay was.

Loved our stay as Koh Tao Cabanas. Staff were amazing and our villa was stunning right on the beach. It was all the little extras that make it so special. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was the breakfast variety was not that great and the massage was really bad.

Loved the scenery, the location, the decor

The cockroaches, the bathroom wasn’t overlooked but two windows covered with bamboo was missing and a bird got in the bathroom , scared my wife a bit but it left after a few minutes. I accept the fact that it was a jungle cabin but waking up to cockroaches on the net curtains was a bit off putting

Beautiful beach (although sea in the morning unsuitable for swimmimg) and pool area, good breakfast, friendly staff, port transfer, water, snacks & face masks in the room.

The property itself has a lot of potential- it’s literally within a sprawling jungle, has a nice enough beach. The cabana we got was spacious and did give that island/tropical feel you’d be looking for.

We booked the Honeymoon Villa with Private Pool at Koh Tao Cabana as the final and most special part of our honeymoon. Instead, it turned into one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had. During our stay, my wife became seriously ill and required emergency medical treatment at a local clinic, including overnight care and IV fluids. Following our return to the UK, medical testing confirmed Salmonella infection. Our 8-month-old son also became unwell and subsequently tested positive for Salmonella. We had eaten exclusively at the hotel during our stay meaning the Salmonella infection was caused by the food provided by the hotel. During our stay we also saw numerous rats around the kitchen area. The illness completely ruined the end of our honeymoon. Rather than enjoying the resort we had paid a premium for, our time was spent dealing with illness, medical treatment and recovery. We were forced to leave earlier than planned and stay over night in hospital and lost valuable time from what was supposed to be a special trip. Koh Tao Cabana management have handled the situation afterwards extremely poorly and we are very disappointing. We provided medical evidence, explained the circumstances in detail and attempted to resolve the matter directly and professionally. After receiving all the medical information the hotel has now stopped responding altogether to our emails and WhatsApp messages. What is most frustrating is not just what happened, but the complete lack of accountability afterwards. A reputable hotel should take a situation involving serious illness and confirmed Salmonella infection extremely seriously. Instead, we have been ignored. Potential guests should be aware not only of our experience, but also of how the resort dealt with a formal complaint once it was raised. We expected far better from a hotel positioning itself as a premium honeymoon destination. There are other reviews of the hotel with similar situations to ours where they have caused food poisoning to other guests and not taken accountability.

Zwembad prachtig, locatie mooi en fijne sfeer. Ook de ligbedden op het strand zijn top.

Tot 2 uur lang muziek overlast, kan echt niet voor zo’n prijs per nacht. Ik heb op maat gemaakt oordoppen en zelfs daar kwam het geluid van sairee doorheen. Ook het matras was niet goed prijs kwaliteit verhouding, helemaal doorgezakt met grote lig kuilen.

Very cute resort, walking through lush green forest to get to your room is a very nice touch. From the Sky View Villa, we had a perfect view of the beach but of course needed a bit of a walk to get up on the hill.

The nice view also meant that we could hear the parties all the way across the bay. Not too loud to be a nuisance, but if you’re a light sleeper, maybe choose another room category.

The views, staff, food and room was delightful. We were in room 11 and we adored the room!

The swimming pool needed a clean. We stuck to the beach instead.

I stayed with kids at this hotel for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The most important thing for me was the atmosphere — it's genuinely quiet, peaceful, and incredibly cosy. The rooms are wonderful, with a unique eco-style feel: think clay walls and natural textures that make the space feel alive. Every morning started with a stunning sea view, fresh ripe fruit, and a hearty breakfast of eggs and croissants on the terrace. The beach is breathtaking — large rocks, palm trees, and just enough solitude to truly unwind. It's the perfect place to slow down and recharge. Honestly, leaving was the hardest part.

The season was a bit rainy but that's expectable

The view from the Sky Cottage was unbelievable, room service was fast, the pool and waterfall were incredible after relaxing on the cabanas by the beach. The outdoor shower and hammock were divine.

It is definitely a little run down, the Sky Cottage was a very long walk from the restaurant and beach, the wifi was not working very well, the shower settings were difficult to manage.

The room was really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were lovely and the complex was really pretty and lots of butterflies and greenery. The pool had enough beds, and the restaurant was lovely with an amazing view.

We actually really liked the accommodation so there wasn't anything we didn't like.

We stayed at the sunset Villa and the views were breathtaking. Close to other restaurants if you don't want to eat at the resort. Walking distance to shops. Staff at Restaurant is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay !

There wasn't something I didn't like, but I have a suggestion, to maybe put ceiling fans on the patio's to keep the mosquito's away and give you some relieve from the heat.

The rooms, the surrounding, the pool. Was really excellent.we got a Seaview Vila and the view was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Although the place is stunning, it is spread over a large area with climbs. Try to get a room close to the pool/restaurant.

Amazing location (the best in the beach), very comfortable rooms equipped with everything necessary and with good taste, staff very kind and professional.

L entrée de l hôtel pas terrible Les personnels derrière du comptoir de l acceuil pas très aimable ( sauf le msr qui distribuait le pop corn lui il est super aimable 🙂) Piscine est magnifique mais pas Conforme l eau est hyper très très trouble La Mer marée basse mais c est pas leur faute Petit déjeuner pas beaucoup de choix et attention pas très frais. 1 er jour du petit déjeuner un serveur s enervait car on connais pas l anglais pour nous expliquer le petit déjeuner car il fallait selectionner un.petit déjeuner de la carte Au 2 eme jour Le petit déjeuner c est la catastrophe j avais pris un yaourt qui avait le goût très sûr ( yaourt sûrement de la vieille et ça a tourné) mon mari avait pris un muffin il y avait de la moisissure et 3 eme jour on n a pas pris déjeuner par précaution Bref pour un hotel 4 ⭐️ ca devrait pas arrivé pour le prix qu on a payé ca le vaux pas du tout c est dommage car l hôtel a du gros potentiel et se laisse aller J ai trouvé un autre hôtel 3 etoiles pour beaucoup moins chère et pour beaucoup mieux

The rooms were spacious and better than the photos. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great.

There were too many bugs and worms coming into the rooms as the rooms are not well insulated, however, bugs are expected as the hotel is inside a jungle.

Die Lage war außergewöhnlich. Der ruhige Strandabschnitt hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und groß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen war auch gut. Wir hatten eine whitesand Villa und waren daher nahe am Strand und mussten wenig Stufen laufen.

Die Poolanlage könnte etwas Wartung vertragen. Wir lagen aber die meiste Zeit am Strand.

The experience was horrible. It was unbearable from start to finish.

We had a very disappointing stay. Our room had an extremely noisy air conditioner and a clogged shower drain, which caused us to have a sleepless night. After complaining, we were moved to another room, but it had mold and disgusting dirt in the shower, and even the bed sheets were stained. Despite all these issues, the staff’s attitude was unpleasant instead of helpful or compensating us for the experience. The rooms also have no proper blackout curtains, so a lot of light comes in early in the morning, which seriously affected our stay. Very poor service overall.

Fantastisch uitzicht op de zee vanuit het huisje. Heerlijke porch met een hangmat en ligbedden. Strand super met lekkere bedjes en ondiep water.

מלון מאוד יפה עם חוף פרטי שמציע ציוד כיפי (סאפ, שנורקלים). המלון מטופח מאוד וגם הבריכה בו מרשימה. חדר האוכל טוב :)

החדר של השירותים מקלחת הוא עם וילון שמפריד מבפנים למחוץ לחדר. זה גורם לכניסת מעופפים ותחושת אי נוחות. החדר מרגיש מיושן וגם הצילינדר של הדלת כניסה לא עבד בצורה חלקה. החדר מאוד רחוק מהקבלה וההליכה לא נוחה.

Die Aussicht unserer 260 Grad-Cabana war super

Die Liege auf unserer Terasse und alle anderen Liegen im Hotel waren schmutzig, der Pool wirkte ungepflegt Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe für den Preis, den wir bezahlt haben (400 Euro pro Nacht!) Neben unserem Hotel fand ein Festival statt, an dem so laut Musik gespielt wurde, dass wir bis morgens um 3 Uhr nicht schlafen konnten. Als wir mit dem Hotel darüber sprachen, dass das für uns als Familie mit Kind nicht geht, boten sie uns ein Hotelzimmer an, das noch näher am Festival ist. Wir haben uns entschieden, früher abzureisen und hätten es sehr geschätzt, wenn uns das Hotel in einer Form finanziell entgegengekommen wäre, doch das war nicht der Fall. Das Personal am Strand und im Restaurant war das unfreundlichste, das ich in 30 Jahren Thailand angetroffen habe.

The property was on a gorgeous part of the beach in the jungle & the staff were lovely. Josh in particular was super helpful - particularly when it came to returning a watch we left behind by accident. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Koh Tao Cabana was absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations. The cabana itself was extremely private with an amazing amount of space both inside and outside, creating the perfect relaxing island experience. It truly felt peaceful, secluded, and luxurious all at the same time. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay and assisted us with anything we needed. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beach areas were absolutely stunning and perfectly showcased the natural beauty of Koh Tao. The views, atmosphere, and overall setting made this one of the most memorable places we stayed during our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Koh Tao Cabana to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in Koh Tao.

One area that we felt could be significantly improved was the check-in experience. Unlike the rest of the stay, which felt welcoming and personal, the check-in process felt impersonal and uncomfortable. Rather than being checked in individually, we were grouped together with two other couples during the process. Discussing stay details and payment information in front of strangers did not feel private or appropriate for the level and atmosphere of the property. At a resort like this, the arrival and check-in experience should feel personal, relaxed, and one-on-one to match the beauty and quality of the accommodations and staff throughout the rest of the stay.
