Lovely stay. Friendly and attentive hosts. Gorgeous breakfast.
A great welcome from Mary and a fabulous breakfast which met my dietary requirements.
We arrived late on a Friday evening and were greeted by Mary who showed us to our room, providing us with information about what was available locally. The room was a really good size with a good double and single bed. Kettle, cups with tea and coffee were provided along with a bottle of water each. The bathroom was enormous with a huge, hot shower with great water pressure along with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. The setting is in beautiful countryside so extremely restful but with Athy less than 10 minutes away with plenty of eateries and entertainment available. We were staying overnight before an event in Carlow which was really convenient too. Breakfast was very tasty with a selection of porridge, cooked breakfasts, toast, cereals, drinks and eggs on offer. The dining room again is very bright and spacious. Again Mary wasn't short of conversation in the most comfortable sense, a lovely host. Late breakfast and checkout are a further attraction to top of excellent service and accomodation.
Absolutely nothing. I genuinely feel bad that they weren't charging more for the service they provide. We'll be back
We had a lovely stay at Ballindrum farm. The breakfast was great, bedroom spotless and very comfortable, location stunning and our hosts very welcoming.
All very good. I liked the country setting. 10 minutes from Athy
Da simpatia dos proprietários e do local, junto à natureza, onde se podem ver as vacas no seu dia a dia.
Beautiful surroundings and nice peaceful location Host was super friendly and helpful, always available.

Breakfast was good, everything was freshly made even orange juice. Friendly host Mary (and family). Beds are great and quite place/room
Mary was a very accommodating host, she had left a basket with Tea/Coffee, biscuits and toileteries in the self catering.
We loved the cottage. Mary was an absolute star in every way. We spent our last night in the B&B as I got my dates wrong and I was glad I did as the breakfast was amazing.
Nice quiet location, everything you need in the house, really friendly hosts, would definitely stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballindrum Farm. My room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view. Mary (the owner) was very welcoming and even drove me to town because I didn't have a car. To top it off, guests are allowed to watch the cows being milked every day from a viewing gallery (yes, Ballindrum is also a working dairy farm). I highly recommend it.
We vacationed in Ireland for 10 days, and of all the b & b's we stayed at, this was our favorite. Mary was a sweet and welcoming host. We got to walk around their farm and watch the cows being milked. There was a large selection for breakfast with homemade baked goods and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Many places claimed to have homemade baked goods, but this was the real thing. I highly recommend Ballindrum Farm.
We had a really lovely stay. The location was so quiet & peaceful but yet well connected to motorways etc. Very comfortable room with a big shower room. Breakfast was fantastic with a wonderful choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts & home baked breads & scones, cheese & jams along with an extensive cooked breakfast menu which was delicious. Mary was very helpful & made us feel welcome. We will be back!
Nothing at all to dislike. A great place to stay.
Our host Mary was perfectly organized. We enjoyed the calm, and the breakfast with the specific choice of hot dishes.
Mary was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Location was a bit isolated but not a problem with a car.
Nothing.
Lovely peaceful setting
Nice rural location and great scones!

We were a family of 8 adults and 5 children aged 11 9 6 5 and 2. The farm was great for children there was a room with toys and games that suited all ages which was a bonus to keep them amused. Breakfast was amazing and Mary couldn't do enough for us. She went above and beyond.
The kids were disappointed that they didn't get to see any animals as we had thought with it being a working farm there would be cows, sheep etc.. and we didn't see any.
When we arrived Mary offered us tea and coffee with home made scones. Her home is very welcoming. Nothing is no bother to her. Very very helpful person. Her home is very clean and tidy with good shower facilities. She is very accomodating with breakfast times and when we were leaving she printed us out a route planner for our next destination. The range of food she supplies for breakfast was excellent and you would definitely not leave her home hungry. She can cater for people with gluten free allergies as well. All in all it was an excellent house to stay in. I will call again. Its just like home from home.

Mary made us so welcome. We checked in and Mary made us tea. We were going to a wedding the following day and so there was no worries about checking out late. Mary was particularly kind, making sure my elderly mother had fresh milk for her tea in the room. A fantastic stay I would highly recommend.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly at all times. The breakfast was lovely and such a brilliant choice on offer. The location for us was brilliant as we were attending a wedding very close to the B&B. All in all a really pleasant stay even if it was short and sweet!

Great welcome from Mary - we were hungry and she brought us bread, ham and cheese. Plenty of space, everything worked, and all kitchen utensils / crockery etc were available. Good level of comfort. Quiet. Efficient WiFi. Fine view over the fields from behind the house. Recommended.
No negatives.
The host was lovely and the room was very nice, also the breakfast was amazing. They made me feel very confortable to stay with them. I will definetly come back. It's a perfect place to stay if you're going to Dublin or the airport. Thank you so much for everything!
Beautiful peaceful location. Great view from the cottage where we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the selection of DVDs in the evenings. We had a wonderful breakfast at the main house on two mornings. Mary is a wonderful hostess. Also really enjoyed learning about the milking and farm operation. Short drive into town.

A nice quiet location, with a great host family; truly a family that makes you feel like part of their family. comfortable beds and a great shower. We were given tea and scones with fresh cream and jam upon arrival.
A bit of a drive out to supper/dinner.
Mary is very warm and friendly, the drink and scones (with cream and jam) was a real bonus particularly after a long day getting to the farm. Breakfast lovely, room spacious and comfortable. Mary the host is very helpful and friendly
The location is a little out of the way so you need transport

We stayed at the cottage. It was wonderful. Great scenery and location. We absolutely loved Ireland. Mary the host was very kind and helpful.
This lovely lady waited up for us to arrive it was very late as we had to travel from the place that booking.com had rented us turns out it didn't exist and booking.com left us stranded in the middle of nowhere in Ireland with an autistic child
