Wonderful Second Stay at Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada This was my second stay at Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada, and once again, I had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. A special appreciation goes to Ayu for her excellent service, warm hospitality, and friendly attitude. She was very helpful and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. Her professionalism and attention to guests made a positive difference. Thank you to Ayu and the entire Novotel team for another enjoyable stay. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Nice location near Chinatown

Ontbijt was goed, best uitgebreid. Eitjes werden er gebakken, en noodles etc ook veel westers ontbijt 🥞 Zwembad was netjes en ook een bubbelbad iets warmer water.

Piektijd van ontbijt moesten ze wel hun best doen om het ontbijt aan te vullen, was veel leeg. Maar vulde ze gelukkig wel aan. We moeten 35 euro bijbetalen voor extra bedje op de kamer, voor deze prijs kan je bijna een extra kamer nemen. Echt overdreven duur. 🫣

The staff at the property were nice.

This is not the regular Novotel property that you expect. It was up to the standard of Novotel anywhere else.

No Netflix and YouTube . I didn’t watch movies at all. Internet issues

The room size was great and the hotel is close to old town and china town.

The room needs refurbishing. The bed quilt cover was upside down making it uncomfortable to sleep and in correcting the duvet it became clear the reason was due to stains on the duvet cover.

The food was amazing, the room also not too bad, the cleanness of the room also not bad

The beds were comfortable, the staff very friendly, nice and clean rooms, breakfast was very good including eggs, small sausages, juices, coffee, tea, waffle maker and more. Excellent location. Did culinary exploration with the family, saw the Candranaya and Kota Tua. On December and near to the Christmas stay was perfect not so crowded. Windy and couple days of raining. Reasonably priced. Very Recommended. We definitely will come again 👍👍👍

Don’t pass by on this hotel for a Jakarta Barat visit Modern hotel in a quiet safe location in Jakarta Barat a short walk from the Kota Tua. An amazing room so spacious roomy. Excellent wi-fi, cold A/C, well maintained room cleaning, good hot water and very quiet rooms. This hotel made my stay in Jakarta Barat and don’t let the location put you off as everything is so accessible very easy. The breakfast is a friendly modern area, very delicious and many variety of Asian. The staff are very helpful and friendly and worked hard at breakfast time to. The breakfast was very good and plenty full and tasty. Will be back here again soon. Don’t miss out on this great holiday and avoid using car as the parking space will be crowded on the public holiday since it's narrowed

Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada is a great option for stay in Jakarta Barat The spacious and well equipped rooms at Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada, make this great option for a stay in Jakarta Barat and an ideal base from which to explore the city, then come back relax, unwind and enjoy a good rest. Our superior room was provided with a good sofa and a well equipped with smart TV 55", meaning that we could have easily find excitement. Room is well maintained and clean, A/C is very cold and the hot water works very well The hotel also provides and excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice from the self service buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the hotel stored our bags before check-in and after check-out meaning that we could maximise our time in Jakarta Barat. Be smart on picking time since Jalan Gajah Mada has odd or even plate number in specific time, parking lot a little bit narrowed if you bring your own vehicle

Good Place for stay in central in jakarta, good hospitality also! very recomended. Also this hotel have good facilities.

Stayed here for 3 nights. I booked the superior suite. The room is great with ample space for living room and bed room. The bad point is the wifi signal is not stable. Beside that, everything was perfect. Food is great, however breakfast was little bit dissapointing. The room service however was good with plenty of choices. The hotel is great and i will want to go there again someday.

Had an excellent stay here and a one of their staffs, Mas Keri is really helpful by doing his job. The food was delicious, the room is clean, and i’d be happy to come back here

Most staffs are friendly

1. House keeping always leave the house keeping hang tag on the floor which I don't understand what it's supposed to mean. If I hang it on the door handle, it is on the floor when I come back room. 2. Also some of my personal gadget was missing. I didn't feel the house keeping quality acceptable. 3. Shower water never got hot.

The staff are so friendly and will help with anything, the rooms are spotless and large with free water in room. The breakfast is good selection, I also ordered room service this was good price and nice food , accommodating of food requirements too. The location is good where you can walk to parts of Jakarta but also taxis are cheap and always available outside, there is a Starbucks opposite which is handy too. This hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city and I will be staying again as I’m very happy.

Bar: physically run-down. Dirty carpets, torn and sagging drapes. Bartender must have been new to the job. We asked for whiskey and gin, but she had none. She did have red wine. It was from an already opened bottle and it was sour. Went for some of the snacks and all four were stale and inedible. Couple the bar experience with the run down condition of the hotel, we stayed one night and went to another hotel down the street. This experience was not typical of Novotel previous occasions.

We just stayed in here for 2 nights, such a good experience with my family Thank you for the hospitality and service Next time we will come again for the second time I hope there's no traffic around the hotell

A very nice aesthetic vintage staycation place in the heart of Glodok area. Comfortable and spacious room, nice pool and sauna & steam facilities. Thank you so much Mba Anna for warm welcome and efficient check in process, Mba Lusi for preparing welcome drinks, Mba Safa for great hospitality in the pool, sauna and steam facilities, Mas Patrick and Mas Kenji for guest follow up emails, Mas Paul for delivering welcome amenities and to all Novotel Gajah Mada staffs for excellent services.

The staffs are helpful and very nice. My friend lost his passports on the Grab. And the person in the reception helps us to contact the driver.

The facilities are old. I stayed three nights. No hot water when showering for many times. There is no electricity in my room during the last stay after using hairdryer for like 5 minutes. The staff helped change my room in the end. The elevator sometimes doesn’t stopped at the proper place.

The breakfast were to notch especially the local food on buffet and the sambal. Really enjoyed the 24/7 night life in Jakarta old town as well mix with China town and abundant of street foods.

The MRT project made the street in front of the hotel dense and busy and it's very unfortunate, I’ll say the parking lot little bit narrow.

This is the kind of hotel that I suggest people stay at, classic Jakarta Chinese feel. The service was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. AC comfort cold and you can relax by showering with the hot water. Thank you for the housekeeping, reception and the whole team at Novotel. yes bcs its nearby to JIS. i came here for a concert. And i found that this hotel is nearby to the stadium. Received excellence services from the fnb staff Ms. Yofita. the food was so good. Have many choices and the price is quite affordable.

I stayed at Novotel Gajah Mada a few times, and It's hands down beautiful. The rooms, atmosphere, and the welcome amenities were great, but what I loved the most was how well all the staff treated me. They're very professional, and always smiling. Honorable mention for the breakfast and the room service food is absolutely tasty.

Lovely hotel in great location for sightseeing around oldtown area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a dessert at the restaurant which was delish! Pool area was nice and clean, they also have gym with various equipment. Room was spacious and clean.

This hotel is so comfortable! We decided to go to Jakarta for 3 days trip and wish we had stayed longer. Loved the location, was walking distance to local food and things to do. The staff here was incredibly sweet and helpful. The room was clean. The pool was clean, quiet, and enjoyable. But the thing is the MRT project near hotel is very noisy and caused such traffic.

the hotels good and clean. helpful staff aswell. but unfortunately. the parking kinda packed plus the MRT project that never ending is kinda annoying actually. i have to take forever to go to hotel because of that MRT project cause the traffic.

the room doors cant close automatically, requires manual pulling to ensure its locked. Twice i went, both times the room door were left ajar after room cleaning. luckily nothing was lost
