Red Coconut Beach Hotel

I stayed there a few times over the years and they continue to make improvements. Some things are the same and they should be. They just recently added an elevator, which makes it really convenient because the weather is so hot. All the rooms have been upgraded very comfortable Nice amenities and the air-conditioning works fabulously. Really nice fire dancing dinner show that even attracts attention from people passing by. Get there early and get a good seat.

The food was good. The room was nice, with a balcony. It was a bit of a hike from the main street, but there was a market there. Occasionally it was very noisy with a band, other times very quiet. I liked it, and was very happy to be able to book it on short notice, and still get a nice room.

Red coconut is in a prime location nice staff overall highly recommend and best restaurant in the island!!!!

Noisy construction at the pool area (which is barely usable anyway). Elevator out of service. Doors to balcony and to the hallway would not properly close. Loud live music until midnight every day. Breakfast OK. This property cannot be accessed by any motorized vehicle. Had to walk (with my luggage) through a small and dirty back alley in the rain.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Red Coconut Boracay was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Station 2, with stunning beachfront views and easy access to everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy island vibe. The pool was a great place to relax, and the beachfront restaurant served delicious food and refreshing cocktails. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and tropical paradise, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

Great rooms. Pay the extra for Deluxe oceanview room! Food, service, and entertainment is superb. Great mix of western and Filipino dishes.

This place has a great location by the beach. You can literally just walk out of the hotel and onto the beach. The staff are very helpful and the hotel restaurant is very good. We had breakfast included during our stay and it was well worth it with a wide choice of options. And you get to see a fire dance each evening. We were in room 402 which had a beautiful view of the ocean. The one minor issue was the low water pressure in the shower. Though we managed fine. It definitely made our stay in Boracay even more enjoyable having this hotel as our base. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Boracay again.

The hotel advertises a swimming pool but what they fail to tell you is that it is far too dirty to swim in & virtually impossible to get in to with no where to sit around it. They have fire shows at night on the edge of the pool & the kerosene they use is probably the reason why the water is so dirty & murky. They have constant grinding, banging & welding going on round the pool area during the day & nightime this is replaced by banging music from adjacent properties until at least 02.30. In fairness the rooms were ok it was just everything else around the room. We paid for 5 nights & even though this was non refundable we left after 1 night to just escape the madness. Breakfast was really poor with items left uncovered with small black flies on the food. So disappointing

Very noisy with loud music till 02.30, and noisy construction work going on at the property. Only stayed 1 night of 5 booked!! Much nice hotels around.

The staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful & always a smile. Nothing was too much. Jocephine, RJ & Japee were just delightful. I'd definitely stay again & recommend 👌

It's good for the location. Got food poisoning from the breakfast. The area itself is very loud and crowded with people. No sunbeds by the pool. No pressure in the water, almost couldn't shower.

Amazing staff and amazing location. Staff was always very helpful at all times. always had some sort of entertainment on in the restaurant area. Most beautiful beach and sunset on the doorstep of the hotel. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The Red Coconut hotel was in the “party-central” area, henceits was quite lively but oftentimes, too noisy ! The hotel itself has a fire dance show every night! Other than that, it was an ok hotel…not very happy about the VERY noisy renovation work happening DAILY between 0900-1800 tho! If I was advised about the renovation work, I would not have booked the 6 rooms here!!

Location is great. Right by the beach. But that means you'll have to walk from the main road down a narrow road to the hotel. Hotel does two fire shows every night. And have music playing to around 11pm. And the rooms aren't sound proof. So you will hear the singing and music in your room until late night. Rooms were super clean. Staff are wondeful. They also provide beach towels, one per guest per day. Security deposit is a bit high at PHP 1000 per night.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Super friendly wait and bar staff. Wonderful guests from all around the world. The front desk staff was great with local information, tours and transportation. I will be back. Can’t wait!

We were booked to stay here for 3 nights. The property during the day time was ok. the location was very ideal as it was in the center of white beach with many restos and bars nearby. HOWEVER. please be aware that there is a live band EVERY NIGHT. Our room was situated on top of the stage and my head was booming trying to sleep at 10pm that night! The whole room was shaking all night. Even when the band died down around 11pm, there is a night club adjacent to the property that was going boom boom all night! This property is definitely not the place to stay at if you want to enjoy a quiet evening at your hotel. We checked out the next day and asked to be refunded theremaining nights, which the "Manager" agreed to. And...more than a month later, still waiting on the refund SMH.

Staff were very accommodating. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar staff were excellent, especially Edward. I will go back there later this year.

Everything was excellent and we appreciate the amenities especially the free cold water dispenser on every floor. The only thing that was a mishap was that one of the front desk staff mixed up our transport pickup upon checkout. It was a mistake on the hotel's part, but Maye and JP (morning shift front desk) were able to correct it early in the morning and helped my boyfriend and I along the way back to Caticlan Airport for our Manila flight at noon. Loved the friendly service, the food, bar, homemade ice cream, the fire dancers show every night (Must See!) , and the Christmas special buffet and show too! Highly recommend this hotel regardless of the situation in the last morning. Be prepared to walk up stairs, especially if you're at the top floor. The ocean view from our balcony is breathtaking and beautiful though!

Worse experience ever, and we have travelled a lot. We even stayed in 10$ shacks by the beach with just a fan for airflow. The positive, the staff were friendly and when we asked to change rooms, the manager accommodated us, but this was after complaining about the construction taking place and our view of a blue tarp, not poolside or oceanview, as advertised. The hotel should have notified us of the construction and offered a free cancellation or a discount if we chose to stay. The negative. This is truly a 3-star. Old furniture, a "queen bed" where my feet hung off the end (i'm 6ft) and the mould, still in our suitcase and our clothes If you are 20 and like to party, it's the perfect place. But peace and sleep, forget it. On top of the jackhammers, buzzsaws, banging from construction, there is permanent loud live entertainment and booming music from the morning buffet until 11:00PM, every day and night. After that, when the hotel finally pulls the plug on the live entertainment, your headache becomes a migraine, because the divebar beside the hotel has laserlike boombastic dance music cranked until 02:00 - 03:00am. No matter where you are in the hotel, you hear it. I saw a lot of other guests walk around zombielike with sleep deprivation upon their wincing faces when returning to the hotel, so others felt that way. Within days we booked another hotel where we could sleep and used this hotel as our change room by the beach. Best investment ever!

Stayed 4 nights. Summary: Stay here if you want to PARTY and don’t need any sleep/rest. Cons: slow check-in, staff requested cash security deposit which is rare in other hotels since room was already pre-paid. Multiple power outages during check-in. No elevator in the building so beware if you physically can’t climb the stairs. The WORST is super loud music past 11p from their restaurant and bar. My last night, it went on past 1:30am with no advanced warning. The only given reason was “it was a special event”. At check-out, they claimed I drank a can of soda from a mini-bar which does not list the quantity only pricing. Luckily, I took a pic of the minibar contents the first day. Pros: great location at station #2 near D’Mall and right on the beach front. Offer beach towels. Friendly and polite staff.

The location cannot be beat! Hotel is right on the best part of the miles long stretch of beach. The service and staff are just delightful. Especially Sheila at the restaurant/bar. Nice touches like a beach bag in the room for use during our stay was appreciated. The fire show and daily/nightly live band were amazing. We had a great time. The hotel room itself is good but not wow. I was a bit disappointed in the “sea view” as my view was just a peek-a-boo. if you are someone who goes to bed early, bring ear plugs. Live music right below the rooms makes it very loud. Overall I would definitely start here again for the beach and the staff and service.

The staff were amazing. Couldn't ask for a better location. Very close to Dmall. What i like most is that it has character. It has a nice resort feel. The beach is right across.

Accessible, clean and beach front facility, friendly staff with excellent customer service skills.

We had fun staying at the hotel. What I like is that it is literally in the center of everything. So for us, it is so accessible to get anywhere because of where this hotel is located.

This is a great place to stay in Boracay. The staff is most professional and some of the truest kindest people I've met. I do travel the world so I'm well aware of Hotel Hospitality good and bad . I caught a cold my 2 nd night here Everyone from the front desk stafff to the room service were a huge help to me getting the medication I needed. I've enjoyed my stay so much I have extended another 8 days . I fully recommend this resort

you have to walk a half mile from the street to get to the hotel with your suitcase. There is no elevator or escalator. If you are on the fourth floor, you have to walk up. When I was leaving the hotel, I did not give you any assistance to get to the street half mile away. If you call the phone to the hotel, nobody answers.

Perfectly centered in Station 2, next to D'Mall, right on the beach, cute look to the hotel. Pool was relaxing, brunch was delicious and the staff were very helpful. Hotel Room was relaxing.

Noisy after 10:PM. The bar should be sound proof enclosed so that the people who wants to retire after ten can do so peacefully. Provide 110-120 volt electrical socket. More choices on the free breakfast menu.

We love how close it is to the beachfront. The free breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice and professional. We only had a problem with the AC unit because it leaked during our stay. There was an AC technician who went to fix it but sadly they weren't successful. We didn't mind the issue, we just placed a bucket to catch the drainage.

Love this location and property. Lost some of its old school charm when the bar and dicing area was enclosed, but its the only place for me in Boracay.

No wine 🍷 in bar a let down and I thought a little over priced overall and lasagna took near 30 mins to appear when restaurant was quite, lots of mozzies in side bedroom

The building is new but there is a wood stinky smell it bothers us a lot. We kept turning on the air conditioner even though we are cold just to circulate the air. The wood design of the building maybe causing the smelly air.

This hotel is very dated. I had a premier room on the fourth floor with a Sea view (no elevators.) The room was spacious, but unfortunately it smelled very bad… Like someone’s house that has too many cats. I opened the doors to the balcony and aired the room out continuously to get the odor away. The beds are very hard. The hotel is in a good location… Right on the beach and steps from D’Mall. It’s pretty noisy at night with the noise and music from the bars coming in. That wasn’t really an issue for me, but some people may not like that. It wasn’t a bad stay, but wasn’t worth what I paid in my opinion. It just appears very run down.

Great location and great staff.

Overall we had a very good stay. The first night there was a brownout, and no generator, but during these covid times... allowances must be made. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant. The pizza was particularly good. It is hard to find decent pizza in the Philippines. Large rooms, good aircon, great shower, comfy beds. Oh, a nice couch, and a balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. I definitely recommend the Red Coconut.

I love the Red Coconut Beach Hotel. The Restaurant and bar staff are very helpful and friendly. I will stay there again. I will not stay pool side again. The club next door is to loud to late. The other rooms in the main building are quiet.

Perfect location! Nice rooms. Get a suite, worth the extra money. Room 201 is really nice and modern.

Nice hotel and I enjoyed the stay. Great staff and excellent service by everyone The only negative I can mention was the island hopping excursion I book through the hotel. Not a good activity, but the sunset cruise was good. Thanks to all at the Red Coconut

The location of Red Coconut is amazing. On the beach & nr D Mall. Cannot get better. Coco bar is relaxed during the day & very load at night. Rooms are a bit worn now.

If you want a great place for a great price this is it. Its an ilder place but its a great place to be. Central to everything and has it all. Very clean and very well priced. The bar is great and so is the pool.

The restaurant was amazing, didn't really enjoy breakfast needs some improvement. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely. They offered to carry our bags up to the room. It's in a great location we could see the beach from our room.

The staff was great as always. I was pleaantly surprised upon check-in when one of my two rooms was avalable. We arrived at approximately 1030am so getting into a room was fantastic but not expected as we planned to drop our luggage at the lobby and start our vacation adventure while waiting for the rooms. Breakfast was a good way to start the day. Eggs to order and selection of sides was outstanding. Wr enjoyed watching the sunset from the Cocobar as well.

Helpful and accommodating staff. No fuss! They were also able to provide all the special requests made (accessible room near the pool)

The hotel in general was great. Just across the street from white beach. They offer an amazing breakfast, with a bunch of varieties. Also, they have a bar and a restaurant that you can enjoy during the rest of the day or evening.

The staff and location are excellent. Even with less than ideal weather, being right on the beach was perfect. Nice spread for the breakfast buffet as well. Room was not quite as quiet as hoped for. Had an end room that had thinner windows and balcony doors. One night it was a band somewhere close and another it was an argument in an adjacent alley. Overall great place though. Just might try to pick a different room next time.

It was an excellent hotel. Their breakfast is better than most (i recommend an omelet as they were particularly good here). There non-breakfast food was good as well. The hotel is located right on the beach and next to D-Mall (many little shops). Pros: food location service Cons: Wifi didn't work.

Firstly Boracay....i been here 4 times now and the place is so much cleaner than before. The beach and swimming in sea are so improved and worthy for the clean up they previously undertook. Now for the hotel - Red Coconut - 2nd time I stayed here. The location is fantastic - centrally located close to mall d’boracay and all the restaurants/bars. The restaurant staff could not do enough for you and a special mention to both Kuya Joel and Kuya Alpe for their fantastic service and help.. and going beyond their duty with no trouble at all in a couple of cases. The food is excellent and a large choice of drink selection - but beware of their ‘brain train’ which includes 10 different spirits... i had to drink it with a bottle if water. Reception and housekeeping staff also delivered their duties as expected. We had to check out at 4:30am for our flight and the hotel even provided an unexpected packed breakfast ! The only one criticism i would have is of the owners... they should update the rooms... although it does have the Aklan influence, i do feel some modernisation would not go amiss. The floor boards in our room were no longer joined in alot of places. The location, food and staff though override this. Highly recommend booking this hotel. Many thanks for our few days away.

Excellent Central location of this hotel along the fine white beach of Boracay. F & B & water activities are within walking distances. One must try the sailing into the sunset; absolutely unforgettable 🍹

We booked 2 rooms in this property because of the location. We normally stay in a higher end hotels in Station 1, but this time we wanted to be closer to the action (shopping, bars and restaurants). We were pleasantly surprised at how much more spacious the rooms were compare to the newer hotels and that the staff were consistently accommodating, helpful and some of them even anticipate your needs. Jona at the reception desk even offered to help and call for me when I was having an issue with our transfer, Arjen and Anthony at the restaurant were consistently helpful and even anticipate our needs. Our kids even made a suggestion to return at Red Coconut on our return visit. They made our 5 days stay so much more special!

Loved, love love the redcoconut. Great staff, great food, lavish huge suite hotel room, that was absolutely worth it. Will return for sure.

1. Location: The hotel was right in front of the white beach and very near to D mall. 2. Room: First two nights, we stayed on the 1st floor and an air conditioner was very noisy and was not clean. Because of the weather, a room was very humid if AC is not on or higher temperature. The other two nights, we stayed on the 2nd floor and AC condition was better than the 1st floor and had a better view of the beach. (I highly recommend to stay on the 2nd floor or above) 3. Housekeeping: All staffs were very friendly. They tried to keep the room clean and neat. We asked for additional towers every day and was delivered within 5 minutes. Sometimes, they forgot to clean the bathroom floor but it was OK because we always came back with sandy feet. 4. Breakfast: Many people complained about the low quality of the food but we were very satisfied. It was very well mixed with local and int'l food for breakfast. 5. Others - It is a 4-floor building but no elevator. Hotel staff will bring up and down the luggage. - At night, it is very noisy until 11pm~12am with music from the bar. - Mosquitos and flies are everywhere. Try to bring or buy bug repellent stuff (spray, cream, etc.)

Nice small hotel, friendly attentive staff, great location directly at the beach

Property was clean and right on the beach where all the fun starts. Even though property looks a little old, but it is well maintained. Overall stay was very good. Staff though was not courteous enough and l felt they're not too keen on going a step ahead for customer satisfaction. My family did not find them friendly enough.

It was a lovely stay. Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was clean & in good condition. View from my room was breathe taking. The beach was right in front of the hotel, it was also close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores, so very convenient. Food at the restaurant was under average though. I ordered a pasta with bolognese and chicken breast, but the bolognese sauce tasted like ketchup and the chicken breast was so fine chopped that it was like minced. The staff was willing to give me extra chicken strips, except they were over cooked and tough. Swimming pool was much smaller than I had expected and with no sun-baths chairs. So don’t expect you could be sun-bathe next to the pool.

The best!

Very nice facilities, they have updated the rooms with new tile flooring since 2018. The bar is a lot of fun as they play current music and have reasonable drink prices. The location is perfect as you can walk to all the bars and restaurants in station 2. This was my 6th stay in a row at the hotel.

Great customer service. Rooms are a bit dated especially the tv and I thought I booked rooms with 2 twin beds instead of just one queen bed but it’s all good.

Great location in the middle of Station 2 on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Great bar with beach and sunset view. Great size room with excellent bathroom. Only downside. Because of the hotel layout it is not possible to hangout on a sun lounger around the pool. Pity.

The hotel manager reversed the statement of his housekeeping supervisor after they promise me a full refunded. Not really a good choice to stayed, my advice never stayed at this hotel terrible hotel

Very, very loud at night, we had booked the Presidential suite and did not get any sleep the entire time that we were at the Hotel. I was under the impression that since we paid for the presidential suite they would have put us where there was less noise. Terrible, Terrible experience especially that we had chosen an island holiday we thought we would relax.

Music is too load. Live music with a simple singer would bring more people into the place. The load mix music is not liked by most. Many guests had the same comment.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Great vibe in the bar and good location. Housekeeping needed a bit of prompting so sometimes need to be reminded that room needs cleaning and sometimes is cleaned better than at other times otherwise all good.
