Grande Vista Hotel

We had an amazing stay with my family. The room was clean and comfortable , the location was excellent with easy access to the SM PALAWAN and nearby attractions, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our trip even more enjoyable.

I would like to book again when im back from abroad...

It was close to the town center and the airport

For a deluxe suite i would have thought it would have been away from the main road as it was very noisy, they changed me and gave me in a room at the back that smelt musty and the air conditioning was just as loud as the room at the front, had to use my ear plugs all night to get some sleep, apart from that it was a nice place.

• TV doesn’t have anything to watch on It. • It gets noisy in early morning like 4-5AM Tricycles are quite noisy.

The location was great. The view from the rooftop was Grande.

No Grande Vista from the rooms only from the rooftop. The A/C sounds like a train or an airplane. Too old and too noisy. They need to upgrade their A/C. The fridge was not working either. The body soap container was empty.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect right down the street from SM Mall.

We booked for a 2 person room and had to request another towel, the toilet wasn't working I had to jiggle the valve inside to have the tank fill up with water, the front desk staff on the night of January 10th acted like she didn't care about us being guests there.

Great location and helpful, friendly staff. The lively biew from the upper deck. Good for people on a budget.

Having to move rooms twice due to broken HWS and water pressure problems. The pool is tiny. Very limited parking. Very noisy neighbours and traffic. The building is near the end of it's life. Grande, I'm afraid, it is not.

Very limited parking, the entire facility is showing its age, having to move twice to different rooms due to HWS failures and no water pressure, no lift, tiny swimming pool.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans notre chambre, il y avait une odeur très désagréable nauséabondes. C’était un mélange d’égout et de mort. Nous avons fait appel à la réception et la dame a complètement nié l’odeur. Nous a dit qu’elle allait regarder si il y a une autre chambre. Et n’est jamais revenu vers nous. Donc j’ai fait par rapport à l’odeur et il nous a pas pris au sérieux. Pourtant l’odeur était très très forte. Il y avait également des bêtes dans la chambre. La clim était impossible à régler car les boutons ne fonctionnait pas. Et le jet de la pomme de douche était beaucoup trop fort. Une amie s’est carrément déchiré la lèvre.

The room its old,bed hard mattress and pillow.they only provide 2 sachet of shampoo and 1 tolet roll.

Nothing at all. Even when we checked in; we knew we won't be comfortable.

First; the shower didn't work for us; we asked for some help, and we did not get one. Second; the power outlet for the kettle located on top of the fridge is very dangerous for everyone, especially since we have little kids with us. We asked for cancellation, but they didn't allow us. 3rd; breakfast disgusting. Pancakes w/out butter menu listed not available.

Nice roof top pool. There was some interesting art work to look at on the walls. The receptionist was helpful with providing information.

There was no toilet paper or hand soap in my room & when I requested some it took longer to arrive than it should have because the staff member was more interested in playing a game on his phone. The van driver the hotel used for my transfer to El Nido was a completely wreckless lunatic who was driving like a maniac & speeding dangerously the whole way; I thought it was only a matter of time before we crashed. The passengers were being thrown about inside the vehicle, getting motion sickness & we didn't feel safe at all. Also, there was no aircon in the van, so it was unbearably hot.

Very dirty, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. AC hadn’t been on when we first arrived, very hot. Broken bathroom windows. Shower was not great. For the price definitely not worth it. Have stayed at hostels that were great and half the price in PPS

The non- room decoration is nice

No terrestrial tv, pool was out of order for the duration of our stay, breakfast was average, insects came into our room via loose ceiling fixtures.l, room decor is dated - money has rather been Spent on the common areas.

It was neat and the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and we were able to sleep well. There’s free breakfast as well.

The door knobs were kinda a bust. There’s always a technical problem with regards the door knobs that needs to be fixed specially in room 203. I hope the management will address this.

The room is clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to stay. The location is decent as well. Breakfast was enjoyable, though I wish it were available earlier to accommodate our tour schedules.

We liked that breakfast was included and the roof top pool. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to help us book a day trip to honda Bay. We requested 2 rooms next to each other which we got and were very happy with. There is a laundry service right across the road with was great.

The shower in my room didn't have good water pressure but the one in my parents room was good. Also in my parents room they had some trouble with the air con, it wasn't cool enough. The door handle on my room as hard to open sometimes.

The location is good near to a big shopping mall and transportation is easy in front of the building.

The only thing is the electrical outlet limited. on bed side but overall was great experience

I like the place but not worth it in the price to pricy but the service is not good.

The price I pay 3,600 plus and then no wifi and the aircon goes up and down I mean the first half hour was cold after that getting hot.

Booked for one night 2 room. Everything was as expected, all was clean, staff was friendly. The shower really needs to be changed. And WiFi should work in 2024. Basically the breakfast was too basic to call it breakfast. But in summary for this fair price it was a good choice.

The room size

No hand towel, key card didn't work, internet didn't work, cable tv didn't work, payment by card... machine didn't work. This place is featuring all of these. We pay to have these feature, it should not be at the client expenses When I talked about this at reception the excuse is: Like all other hotels these things happen, internet is not good in the country, well this is not true I've traveled the Philippines for many years and no internet is good if the place doesn't put the good equipment, if you go cheap it will not work. This is a management problem. I do not recommend this place, there are far much better place for the same price or less.

We had a nice over in Palawan and selected this hotel. Family room was a decent size and good air con. The ref was very small and didn’t work. Breakfast was nice,right by the small pool. Nice view deck on the roof. A bit pricey for what we got but overall not a bad stay.

The hotel is close to SM Mall with restaurants and shopping. We could watch Netflix on the TV.

The staff is not really helpful. You feel like a burden or you have a question. The only genuine nice person was the handyman. We booked a room with city view and a refrigerator but got a room looking straight into a roof and there were no refrigerator. The WI-Fi was very weak. We could not use the pool since there was too much chlorine in it. Our skin hurt after a quick dip. We wanted to use the karaoke room but they charge 1500 php for three hours. We wanted two hours but they said no. We only offer three hours. During our three days no one used the pool or the karaoke room.

I like the location, which is at the center of the city. The room is spacious, and the room service is good.

The kitchen only serves in the morning. I forgot to order in advance for the next day and have not used my food stub for the last day.
