Everything was wonderful — the hotel was spacious, very clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were kind and courteous, and the spa was wonderful and incredibly relaxing. We enjoyed every moment!

Great hotel with great views of the Mont Blanc chain (fyi, you can't see Mont Blanc, but the view is still amazing!) A little less tourist-y than other places we visited in Italy. We had to learn to ride the bus in order to hike, and it was tricky to find a variety of restaurants in town. The rooms are charming and very "alpine". Spoiled Americans will find no air conditioning in this town! It was plenty cool with the windows open but the traffic noises made it a bit hard to sleep. Our room had a phantom light that would turn on in the middle of the night, which was not ideal. We didn't report it, so we can't fault them for not fixing it. We chose to shut the door to the area instead. Wonderful, helpful staff!

Ligt in Courmayeur waardoor wel verkeer te horen is.

The Wellness Centre was lovely, as it was so hot and we had just come off a big day of hiking on the TMB we were so grateful to use the pool etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lovely barman, he was so delightful. The breakfast was fabulous.

It was a very hot day, we found the room extremely hot (no air conditioning), we opened the one window at night but it was still uncomfortably warm.

Hotel Gran Baita was truly the gem of our trip. When we arrived, the hotel upgraded our room, which was such a lovely surprise. The whole hotel was stunning, and the room had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the pool, restaurant, and bar teams. The cleaning and maintenance were also excellent. I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant, as the food was amazing, and please do not miss the breakfast, it was also fantastic. Our room also included a free day at the pool, which was perfect since the temperatures were very high and we had planned a rest day. We are so glad we stayed at Gran Baita, and it is definitely one of the reasons we would consider coming back to the beautiful town of Courmayeur.

Établissement très propre, confortable et très agréable pour passer des moments de détente et connexion avec la nature. Le personnel aussi était au top. Je reviendrai sans faute et je recommande vivement

Hôtel sympa, mais pour un 5 étoiles à courmayeur il y mieux.. cela reste correcte. Attention au spa privé dans la chambre delux car c'est en faite plus une mini piscine que spa car l'eau est à 30° et pas de bulles.

La disponibilité pour choisir un des resto (le gastro) pas pu réserver une table alors que je dépense 700€ la nuit + les suppléments.. Dommage.!

Gran Baita is a charming Alpine hotel in Courmayeur, beautifully located at the end of the Aosta Valley and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. The property combines traditional mountain style with many thoughtful details that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent, offering gourmet-quality cuisine, and the half-board option is highly recommended. A special mention goes to Vanessa, whose professionalism and friendliness stood out throughout our stay. Even during the busiest periods, she always had a smile and a kind word for guests. The wellness area is pleasant and well maintained, but it feels somewhat small for a hotel that positions itself as a wellness resort. In summer, the large outdoor lawn and relaxation areas provide plenty of additional space. In winter, however, when many guests return from skiing at the same time, the spa area could become crowded. Another point to consider is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. During warm summer periods, rooms can become quite hot. Unfortunately, keeping the windows open at night is not always ideal, as the road leading to the Mont Blanc Tunnel runs directly behind the hotel and remains busy even during nighttime hours. Overall, Gran Baita offers excellent food, attentive service, and authentic Alpine charm. With a few improvements to the wellness facilities and summer room comfort, it could easily be a five-star experience.

Very nice hotel with a pool and spa. Restaurant (La Sapinière) had fantastic food. Service was efficient and friendly. We had a large room, very quiet and comfy bed. Conveninent for hiking as the shuttle bus stops in front of the door. We will come back

Nous avons adoré la gentillesse du personnel, la chambre et l'atmosphère des lieux. Les salons pour l'apéritif sont sublimes.

Juste un petit doute sur le fait que la chambre soit climatisée. Je ne crois pas que c'était le cas.

Not in the center of Courmayeur, but in the hamlet of Entreves. The location doesn’t pose any problems to a very functional private shuttle service,operated by driver Marco, available at all hours. The SPA enjoys a heated indoor and outdoor pool, with spectacular views of the Alps. The restaurant has a gourmet cuisine very attentive to local dishes and an excellent wine list in which the Aosta Valley wineries prevail. Apres Apres- ski and after dinner drink is very pleasant thanks to the piano bar and the cocktails offering by bartender Pietro. The gondola lift is only 2 minutes from the’ hotel It is not clear why the hotel does not have a fifth star.

Incredible 4-5 days skiing. A large group of us (90 odd) were hosted by Gran Baita, and the experience was fantastic. It's the second time they have hosted as many people from our company, and I'm glad we returned. To accommodate that many people from one place and for things to run as smoothly as they did is a credit to the hotel. Spa facilities are great, rooms were extremely clean and attended to every day. Breakfast was brilliant and set us up nicely for a day of skiing. Staff were friendly and the service at meal times was exceptional. Would 100% recommend.

A truly lovely hotel with plenty of character, friendly staff, fabulous facilities and excellent food. The spa is much required after a long day on the pistes. This was my second visit, and it did not disappoint- I would highly recommend!

The hotel has a home from home feel, it's really warm and welcoming. The staff, on reception, in the restaurants, in the bar, in the shuttle bus, couldn't do enough for you. They were so friendly and clearly enjoyed their jobs and wanted to make our stay special, which it was. The rooms were very comfortable with every thing we needed. The pool / Spa was clean, spacious, we used it most days. The location was great and the views were amazing. We will definitely be going back

A fantastic second visit to the Gran Baita and Cormayeur. The staff were extremely hospitable and could not have been more helpful. The food was great and the service top notch. Would highly recommend for a weekend skiing stay.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. I would highly recommend a visit — the staff alone make it worth the trip. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard daily and everywhere is kept immaculate.

We’ve been to this hotel almost 20 years ago and our return did not disappoint. It’s very traditional. The ground floor reception and bar areas are just the cosiest and the wellness area is lovely. The best bit though - the staff. Shout out to Michaela in the restaurant who did a Star job liaising between kitchen and my husband (every night) about what he could and couldn’t eat. They went above and beyond to get it right with his intolerances.. a huge thank you to her and chefs. Food was generally excellent, breakfast had everything. All the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The bar man was superb!!

il est ecrit que la piscine accueille les enfants mais nous avons eu des commentaires désobligeants, on nous a demandé de faire parler moins fort notre fils car c'est une zone spa. notre fils ne criait pas, c'est juste un enfant qui fait l'enfant.... ne recommande pas pour les enfants

Camera se anche spaziosa,ma era fredda , non andava un calorifero , dopo aver riparato usciva l’acqua, luce in bagna al arrivo non andava , la sauna ultima giorno non si accendeva né anche.siamo stati sfortunati con la camera assolutamente
