Armário pequeno e a cama você não consegue ficar sentando. Uma coisa que me pegou um pouco não sei se é só comigo, mas achei a entrada muito escondida, fiquei cerca de uma hora na rua, procurando a entrada do hostel. Mas fora isso, tudo certo.

It would be helpful to have a few more surfaces or storage areas to place things, both in the room and especially in the bathroom. We really appreciated having breakfast included, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and available 24/7. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The room and bathroom could benefit from having more surfaces or storage space to keep personal belongings. The bathroom in particular felt a little limited in this regard.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Excelente localização, perto da Praça da Figueira. Funcionários simpáticos. Pequeno-almoço muito básico, mas suficiente. O meu quarto tinha ao lado um espaço com frigorífico e microondas partilhado com outro quarto, que foi muito conveniente. Tem elevador.
Demasiado caro tendo em conta as instalações e equipamentos básicos e em mau estado de conservação. São os hóspedes que lavam a loiça do pequeno-almoço, apesar do preço elevado da estadia. O meu quarto era um pouco barulhento à noite porque havia na mesma rua uma esplanada que funciona até muito tarde.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Första gången jag bodde i vandrarhem med sängplats där man delar med andra, och tydligen blir sista gången med. Städningen är bra, toaletterna och duschrummet är rena. Personalen är hjälpsamma. 24 timmar reception är också en plus. Läget är mitt i centrum, nära till det mesta.
Trång sänghytt, men det är kanske en typisk vandrarhem. En gubbe/kille prata högt i rummet typ kl tio på kvällen. Vore bra om dom har policy att vara tyst efter kl 21 så att man kan vila ostört.

Showers and toilets worked but were a tad run down, lockers were a bit loud so felt a bit bad opening and closing them while people were sleeping.

Jasně, upravila bych to tak, aby to bylo slušné, ale pořád jasně kritické: „Ubytování na první pohled působilo relativně čistě, při bližším pohledu ale čistota bohužel nebyla úplně dostačující. Celkově jde spíše o velmi low-cost ubytování a ani přístup personálu nám nepřišel příliš ochotný. Na krátké přespání asi dostačující, ale osobně bychom se zde znovu pravděpodobně neubytovali.“

The dorm rooms were extremely narrow space, inconvenient and my sleep was constantly distracted. It’s a loud street because it’s downtown and they’re beer bars around. I wasn’t convenient of having shower outside the room. There’s a free breakfast available, but don’t expect much. I wouldn’t choose again this accommodation

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The hostel is well located in the city center and you can enjoy Lisbon just walking around by foot. The reception seems to be occupied almost all day round as even in the night I saw someone at the desk which made me feel very taken care of. The cute little balconies are a nice add-on. Additionally, everyone seems to receive a bottle of water and a small bottle of Portuguese rosé wine. After check-out you can store your luggage for a few hours to still enjoy the city without it.
The room lacked a bit of decoration to make it feel more comfortable. There could have been more toilets as it came to waiting times. Also, the toilets and showers were not so appealing. I was disappointed by the breakfast as the vegan options were basically dry bread and some fruit.

Le principal point fort de cet hôtel est son excellent emplacement : proche des transports en commun, des principales attractions touristiques, des restaurants et des commerces. Zdecydowanie nie polecam. Po przyjeździe po północy przez prawie godzinę walczyliśmy z recepcjonistą o łóżko dla 10-letniego dziecka, mimo że było uwzględnione w rezerwacji. Personel był całkowicie obojętny i niechętny do pomocy. Następnego dnia recepcja nie potrafiła nawet pomóc w zamówieniu taksówki ani podać numeru telefonu. Pokój był w fatalnym stanie – brudne ściany, poplamione ręczniki, pożółkłe poduszki, zagrzybiony prysznic i bardzo niski poziom higieny. Po jednej nocy wyprowadziliśmy się do innego hotelu. Posiadam zdjęcia potwierdzające stan pokoju. Omijajcie to miejsce szerokim łukiem.

Er was geen airco in de kamer. Er waren geen hangers in de kamer, om je spullen op te hangen, alleen één stoel. Het toilet en de douche waren schoon, alleen hing er een urinelucht Oud gebouw dat bijgehouden moet worden.

O hostel fica muito próximo da estação de metrô Rossio e em uma região extremamente central, permitindo conhecer grande parte dos principais pontos turísticos de Lisboa a pé ou utilizando o transporte público. Escolhi um quarto privativo por uma noite. Considerando que já me hospedei em diversos hostels pela Europa, esta foi uma das experiências menos confortáveis que tive. O prédio é antigo e ocupa alguns andares, com um ambiente bastante voltado ao público jovem. Durante a noite havia música alta em alguns momentos, o que pode incomodar quem busca mais tranquilidade. O quarto não possuía ar-condicionado, apenas um ventilador, que estava com a base quebrada e apoiado de forma improvisada. A limpeza também poderia ser melhor: notei sinais de mofo no banheiro e a conservação geral deixou a desejar. Outro ponto que achei pouco prático foi o sistema de chaves. Era necessário carregar um chaveiro com três chaves diferentes para acessar as áreas e o quarto, além de trancar tudo manualmente. Os funcionários foram educados, mas a comunicação acontecia predominantemente em inglês, o que pode ser um detalhe relevante para alguns hóspedes. Apesar das ressalvas, reconheço que os preços em Lisboa são elevados e este hostel costuma ser uma das opções mais econômicas na região central. Para quem pretende apenas dormir, passar poucas noites e prioriza localização e economia acima do conforto, pode ser uma alternativa válida. Já quem procura um ambiente mais moderno, silencioso e com melhor estrutura provavelmente deve considerar outras opções.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Everything was excellent. The hostel has a perfect location in the center of Lisbon, with easy access to the airport and all the main historical attractions. The included breakfast was very good, and it was wonderful to enjoy it with a beautiful view over the city center. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Old building, no air con, noisy at night in city centre with old windows, very poor fire safety, no bedside lamp, not even a lampshade, old rusting and rotting windows and external doors, kitchen was grotty, breakfast was really very poor - everything luke warm even dairy. Staff tried to give us a different room to the one booked, assumed bed type based on us being a same sex couple. Clearly didn’t care about service provided.

Wybrałem opcję pokoju dwuosobowego ze wspólną łazienką. Niestety widać brak estetyki, grzyb na ścianie, pęknięte szyby itp. Dodatkowo pokój i korytarz wypryskany chemią tak silnie że nie ma jak oddychać.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Very good location. Friendly staff who are constantly cleaning to keep the areas clean. I was able to store my luggage after checkout. Other guests also were respectful and considerate.
The breakfast was okay but could be improved by having boiled eggs or some sort of protein instead of many cakes which are too sweet for breakfast. Because it is very central, the neighbourhood itself is loud if you keep the windows open which is the case when it's hot- you can hear the garbage truck after midnight and hear the beeping sound from the traffic light when pedestrian's can walk. Since this isn't something the accomodation can change, maybe bring ear plugs or close the windows.

Paint peeling in the room, no tv, a rusty floor fan - no other cooling or heating. Room maintenance was poor to say the least and suspect the heavy use of air freshener was to disguise a lacklustre cleaning - despite checkout being at 10.00 (this is made very obvious) and check in at 14.00 so there was plenty of time for cleaning. Paid extra for a private room. with private bathroom but was still expected to wash up our own dishes after breakfast - well it is a hostel. In which case don't charge hotel prices. The downstairs entrance was filthy with a dying plant and a load of old mops. the entrance to bedroom was through a storage area and room security was minimal to say the least. Had to move the wardrobe out of the way to be able to slide the bathroom door closed. They do allow you to leave your luggage. - but in the open reception area not a locked up safe place and with no apparent monitoring of the luggage.
