Having breakfast in the room as the restaurant wasn't available, The main bar (Texas) restaurant was closed, no mention of it being closed while booking. Building works going on from 7am both mornings. New Chappy's bar wasn't open until 8pm the night we arrived which meant we ate at another restaurant instead. Chappy's also didn't have any draft beers.

Cleanliness
5.2/10Multiple guests reported cleanliness problems: unpleasant-smelling bed sheets, unclean bed and floors, missed daily toiletries and missed consumables (toothbrush kits), indicating below-average cleanliness.
Service
8.5/10Service is frequently praised: welcoming, helpful and fast staff; several reviews explicitly thank the team and note polite reception, justifying a strong score.
Location
9/10Location is repeatedly cited as a major positive (easy to find, close to attractions, 'best location'), so location scores very highly.
Room Quality
7/10Rooms are often described as spacious and comfortable (good mattresses cited) but some rooms lacked slippers/robes/towels and experienced issues (noise, missing items), giving a mixed but generally decent score.
Amenities
6/10Several amenities issues noted: missing iron/iron stand, no microwave, missing toothbrush kits, parking/footpath problems, and inconsistent refill of toiletries — overall below-par amenities.
Value for Money
8/10Multiple guests explicitly call this good value for money and well maintained for the price, supporting a strong value rating.
Food and Beverage
6.6/10Mixed feedback: some guests praised breakfast and hot food counters, while others complained about poor variety, quality and late/closed service on the last day — moderately positive overall.
Overall Experience
6.5/10Overall impressions are mixed: many positive notes on staff, location and value, but cleanliness and some amenities issues lowered the overall guest experience.
