Hotel Herculaneum

I liked the nice staff and the location. The hotel itself was not far from the train station and with the train station you could reach literally every city what is worth visiting like Naples or Pompeii or Sorento when you wanted to catch a ferry there.

The only thing I did not like is that you could not change the temperature of the air conditioning which was 25 degrees.

Sinceramente pésimo esto no es un hotel es un hostal Booking.com podría hacer comprobaciones de vez en cuando. Dormimos una noche y a la mañana siguiente estábamos llenos de picaduras, ruido del aire acondicionado de la habitación de al lado, puerta abierta cuando regresamos a recoger las maletas, un alojamiento malísimo y lo del aparcamiento …. 10€ día para que te metan en un sitio donde no está vigilado, con las gallinas por el medio, nos fuimos pese a tener pagadas 3 noches, pagamos las tasas, y lo que nos dijeron y nos fuimos a otro hotel, les dio igual.Yo no lo recomiendo

Camera a fost spațioasă, înaltă și răcoroasă, curată și cu suficiente dotări. Paturile sunt foarte confortabile. Hotelul e poziționat chiar peste drum de intrarea pietonală la parcul cu ruinele romane ale orașului Herculaneum, iar în zonă sunt câteva terase. Sunt și magazine, dar mici (supermarket găsești la vreo 900 de metri, iar plajă e la vreo doi kilometri și ceva). Personalul e serviabil și politicos. Există un lift pentru bagaje pe o distanță de un etaj, unde scara e strâmtă. Este o terasă chiar la hotel, și cu toate astea, hotelul e unul liniștit. Din sala de mese vezi marea; dacă găsești un loc la geam ai o priveliște chiar frumoasă.

Trebuie făcut ceva cu baia. Ușa de acces în baie lovește bideul când se deschide, iar așa ceva poate cauza inclusiv accidente. Parcarea nu e în același loc cu hotelul, ci la circa 500m, într-o curte privată, care nu e special amenajată. Mi-a fost cam frică să las mașina acolo 3 zile, dar au trecut cu bine. Ai de mers dacă vrei lucruri din mașină sau să folosești mașina. Ajungi in cameră după ce urci două etaje pe scări (la început o scară strâmtă, apoi e obligatoriu sa traversezi terasa, după care urci niște scări industriale metalice late, iar apoi intri pe coridorul propriu-zis). Vreau sa spun că e cam mult de mers, dar nu e neapărat o tragedie. Televizorul e foarte mic și e amplasat sus pe perete, se vede cu greutate. Micul dejun nu servește mâncare caldă și nu e tocmai variat, dar e suficient. E necesară o antifonare mai bună a ferestrelor. Deși camera era situată cam la 7 sau 8 metri înălțime față de drum, din cauză că drumul e pavat cu piatră se aud destul de bine zgomotele de la autovehicule, și pentru unii poate fi deranjant (eu m-am obișnuit în 15 minute).

A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész vilt mindenben. A reggeli finom volt.

A fafalakra ráfért volna egy festés illetve a bútorzat is megviselt állapotú, nem igen a képnek megfelelő állapotban van . Az ablak nélküli szobában nagyon dohos volt a szekrény így nem volt hova pakolni. A hangszigetelés a szobák között elég vékony így lehet hallani tisztán a kummunikációt a környező szobákból.

Muss wirklich sagen für italien und vor allem Napoli sehr sehr sauber und groß. Personal supper Rezeption mega freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Le camere sono datate e poco pulite. Nelle lenzuola erano presenti peli e capelli, uno aveva un buco e in tutti c'era qualche macchia. La colazione era poco varia e con prodotti di scarsa qualità.

La camera era un po piccola. Il bagno aveva il bidet non ancorato a terra quindi ho rischiato di farmi male.

We really liked the view from the breakfast room, the close proximity to Herculaneum, and all the restaurants in the centre. Only a short walk to the station too. The room was big and comfy, and we made use of the fridge with our own items. Breakfasts were very nice, and the open area to relax was very pretty. Someone is always on the desk, and it's very secure to get in, which we liked. They ordered us a taxi. Really helpful.

Can't think of anything bad! There were a lot of stairs? So not good for people with disabilities.

Precisa de verificar especificamente a água do chuveiro que era manifestamente pouca e também melhorar a oferta do pequeno almoço.

Olaszországban a csendes szót más értelmezésben kell használni, mint más országokban, de helyi viszonylatban valóban csendes környéken van a szálloda. A szoba tiszta volt, légkondicionált, az ágyak kényelmesek. Az egész napos kirándulások után ideális pihenőhelyként szolgált. A reggelinél választható citromos croassant kellemes meglepetés volt.

A fürdőszoba egy kicsit szűkre sikeredett, de a célnak végül is megfelelt. A reggeli kínálata egy picit alulmaradt a hasonló osztályzatú szállásokhoz viszonyítva, de természetesen nem maradtunk éhen. Kicsit furcsa volt, hogy teát, kávét vagy kapuccinót nem önállóan készíthettünk, hanem a felszolgálók jöttek az asztalhoz és vették fel a rendelést.

Accueil horrible, aucune idée de visite, Jamais de demande de satisfaction Pas d'ascenseur, pas d'aide pour les bagages. En résumé, à fuir et à oublier.

Ideal location directly opposite the entrance to the archaeological site. Comfortable 5' wide bed. Actual drawers to put clothes in which seems to be becoming a rarity! Small balcony. Breakfast "continental" - adequate for a 2/3* hotel. The town of Ercolano is built on a hill (courtesy of Vesuvius) so it's downhill from the station about 1 kilometer. Good economical choice for 1 night.

Bathroom cramped. Shower cubicle 700mm square and this was a "superior" room.

the staff was lovely, the hotel placed just in front of the heraculeaneum. Quite a long way from Naples, however, half an hour with train and metro could do it.

The locations

My wife had an accident where she hurt her hip and leg .while being shown to our room there were steps up and down on a lounge area, where she fell.There was no warning notice or yellow and black tape to highlighting the issues all round the hotel . The staff said this would be put in place but it had not been installed by the time we left. We were not happy with the situation, and would like some thing done.

Our bathroom smelled like something died in it. Patio cushions were very dirty. There were strange heat spots on the floor that may indicate an electrical or fire concern. Some rooms were sold without windows. I think the booking might have said no balcony, but it actually had no windows. Scary fire hazard and safety risk.

Location was perfect,breakfast ideal and room although small we were happy.

Only failure,there was no kettle/tea/coffee facility.

Stanza molto piccola, colazione povera

Dit hotel heeft een hele goede ligging, tegenover het Herculaneum en dicht bij het treinstation. Ook veel restaurantjes en barretjes in de buurt. Slaapkamer en badkamer waren ruim. Badkamer wat verouderd maar alles wel netjes en schoon. Hotel heeft een eigen terras waar je rustig kan zitten. Broodjes bij het ontbijt waren lekker. De medewerkers zijn super aardig en behulpzaam. Receptie is 24 uur open. Heel lief mannetje van de parkeerplaats, spreekt geen Engels maar maakt graag (met behulp van je vertaalapp als je geen Italiaans spreekt) een praatje met je. Mocht je excursies willen doen naar bijvoorbeeld Capri, Vesuvius of Pompeii dan kan het hotel dat voor je regelen.

Je moet bijbetalen voor de parkeerplaats, die beheerd wordt door een heel lief Italiaans mannetje, maar is wel erg smal om in en uit te komen. Wij hebben helaas lakschade aan de huurauto gemaakt door het uitrijden uit de parkeerplaats. Parkeerplaats ligt wel dicht bij het hotel en wordt goed bewaakt.

Room 218 The bed - there were 2 twin beds in my room. I could feel the springs on both. No wifi. It was so frustrating - it went up and down consistently. The only place l could get a reliable connection was in the terrace and main building. Buy a booster for this area!! I had a balcony but no chair or table. Fridge didn't work.

L'emplacement en face du site d'Herculaneum. Grande chambre et grand lit. Douche à l'italienne suffisamment grande. Petit-déjeuner correct. Personnel aimable.

Pas de prises pour charger le téléphone près du lit. Un téléphone à fini dans la salle de bain et l'autre a piqué la prise de la lampe posée sur la table de la chambre. On est quand même en 2026...

Great location and very good value for the price. The room was also very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The room was extremely dark with no natural light. The “balcony” faced the hotel’s terrace and was covered with artificial plants for privacy, which blocked light and made the room feel enclosed. Due to this setup, it was also quite noisy.

Lekkere koffie en tegenover het Herculaneum. Daar hebben we het voor gedaan. Parking is ook goed geregeld via het hotel 10 euro per dag

Heel gehorig. Er zijn ook kamers zonder toiletten. En die hebben dan een gezamenlijke toilet op de gang. Deze toiletten zaten tegen onze kamer aan waardoor je alles kon horen.

Morgenmaden i forhold til dansk standard dårlig. Kun lyst brød, toast og kager. Youghurt og æg. Gik ikke mæt fra bordet og blev hurtigt sulten igen.

Non e' la prima volta che frequento questo hotel per motivi di studio agli scavi di Ercolano. La posizione e' ottima, di fronte agli scavi e a pochi metri dalla fermata Ercolano Scavi della Circumvesuviana.

Un tempo alla reception c'erano persone solari, cordiali con le quali era davvero un piacere scambiare due chiacchiere. Questa volta sia al check in che al check out non ho trovato la stessa cordialita' e gentilezza. Un' altra cosa che mi ha deluso e' la qualita' della colazione, un tempo migliore. E una nota assolutamente negativa gli asciugamani erano usurati, quello della doccia aveva un buco enorme. Mi domando come si possa dare della biancheria di quel genere in un hotel tre stelle! Che tristezza. Peccato.

Fabulous location for visiting the ruins of Herculaneum . A 10 minute walk to station , from where you can go to either Naples or Sorento, and Pompeii on same line . Taxi rank round the corner of hotel .Plenty of places to eat and drink within a minutes walk . We booked some exceptional trips through the hotel too , which were excellent and very good value for money Breakfast was perfectly adequate to start the day , tho be aware there’s no kettles in the rooms . All of the staff at hotel were amazing, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Francesco and Mateo for putting up with us 😂

Badkamer was een beetje gedateerd en het was erg gehorig. We konden s'nachts horen als de mensen thuis kwamen en nog gingen praten.

This hotel is in a great location for the ruins and local restaurants. The proprietor and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine, pastries, cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs etc.

The property is very basic but clean enough. The main issue is the mattresses on the beds are very cheap and uncomfortable. There were no instructions in the bedrooms so it wasn’t until I was leaving that I realised the air conditioning unit doubled as a heater; as a consequence I spent a cold couple of nights. I’m sure if I had asked though someone would have helped so that was mostly my own fault.

Estacionamento pago a parte e mesmo assim apesar de ter chegado bem tarde da noite tive de tirar o carro até meio-da porque fechava. Tem escadas e para pessoas com dificuldades para subir pode ser um problema.

Breakfast was Continental but we knew this when booking.

This hotel was not what I was expecting. By the pictures it looks like a 4 start hotel and it's even advertised as a 4 start. We booked a standard deluxe with the balcony. The room was small and made to look clean however it was gross. The bed cover "the blanket" had yellow stains all over it as well as the cloth headboard. There was no fitted sheet for the bed. Instead it was a flat sheet that didn't fit the bed so the mattress itself was exposed and didn't stay in place during the night. With that being said, seeing the exposed mattress was not pleasant as I'm sure you get the idea of what it looked like. In addition, there was a sign in the room indicating how much the room cost per minute and per night. Lastly, because I wasn't terrified enough from this gross experience; when passing the cleaning cart in the morning there was Raid on the cleaning cart. This was my last two nights in Italy after spending a whole month. If circumstances were different for me I would have walked away and rebooked something else and took the loss but I wasn't in that position. Gook luck if you stay here.

Directly opposite the entrance to Herculaneum. The terrace patio had nice ambiance. Staff was fairly helpful with travel arrangements.

Pretty run down. Can be loud depending on what is going on outside. Elevator moves at a snail pace so expect to walk up stairs.

Le matelas, le sommier grinçait au moindre mouvement. Nous avons vu des planches de bois sous le matelas.

La struttura è molto bella, le stanze sono pulite e ordinate anche se un po’ piccole. Abbiamo avuto un paio di richieste e lo staff è stato disponibilissimo Il parcheggio è difficile da trovare in questa zona e il parcheggio convenzionato è stato risolutivo

Il bagno emanava un forte odore di fogna, penso sia un problema del luogo più che della struttura ma è comunque poco piacevole

Struttura davvero molto deliziosa e con una bella vista dalla stanza della colazione. Staff cortese e disponibile.

La colazione non è molto ricca o varia, ma comunque buona. In stanza non sono presenti termosifoni all'interno del bagno, ma solo un condizionatore nella camera da letto, che fa anche dà riscaldamento, esterno al bagno.
