Wat een fantastisch hotel, mooie ligging en zo goed verzorgd

The staff is incredible. They are attentive, friendly and personal and make sure you have the best possible experience. After one day, they memorized our coffee order and we’ve never had to order again! Simply great. This hotel is honestly better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed at, and in terms of service, it’s amongst the best.

The only thing that needs improvement is the wifi. I had very poor speeds, too bad to stream in most cases. The bathrooms are extremely clean and comfortable, but outdated. Electric car charging would be nice too.

We've been staying here several times since 2015. We do love Hermitage, and the change in ownership has clearly been a benefit. Especially the restaurant – both the design and the food are superb now! The pool area is also very nice. The territory, rooms design, the personnel and the breakfasts are absolutely perfect!

The bathrooms are in need of renovation. And family rooms clearly need more than just one bathroom. The new beach club could be more luxurious (more furniture, better restaurant, etc.). It was strange to find that the beach bags (they are very nice) are not free of charge, like in the most of 5 star hotels in the world.

I already enjoyed the Hermitage last year. But what the new owners did and continue planing to do is amazing. The garden now is truly special and some of the events over the weekends in the early evening were thoughtfully curated and full of flair. Children and dogs are absolutely welcome. But the staff is the real revelation. Many of the team are fantastic. Excellent to see Gennaio back to fulfil every wish. And Desi is exceptional.

Kamers mooi en goeie faciliteiten. Personeel heel vriendelijk en geweldig voor als je kinderen hebt.

De rekening was erg onduidelijk en kon echt veel duidelijker en overzichtelijker wat het uitchecken onnodig lang maakten.

Staff is exceptional, hotel is perfect for a family, it feels at home. The sand beach next to the pool is perfect,and the food is great! Can't wait to come back next year.

Hermitage hotel is a small well appointed hotel near the center of town. The Front Desk staff was very helpful, specially Sonia (I hope I am remember her name correctly) who went above and beyond with recommendations and help with transportation. The breakfast buffet was included and served in an area with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a variety of cold food and a few hot items to chose from. The hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the center of town and back to the hotel. The drivers were professional and the service is very convenient. The room was clean and spacious. Very nice toiletries are provided. The only minus for me is that the hotel is pet friendly, so the shuttle van is full of dog/cat hair, so if you are allergic this might be a problem... also the pet hair gets on your clothes after riding the van.

Hotel's location is a bit far from everything, but it's a quiet place. Good quality bedding, we had a good sleep here. friendly staff, clean. Although being a 4 star hotel, they provide some 5-star services as turn down service, towels changed several times a day, etc. Hotel also has own vegetable garden, which is charming. There are children's playrooms both indoor and outdoor.

You'll have to rent a bicycle, if staying here. Beach and downtown is not quite walking distance. Hotel's own bar and restaurant is probably not the top choice in Forte dei Marmi. The promoted Lido beach Club, which belongs to the same group, is for extra charge, so there is no actual benefit out of that.

I (and my dog) loved this place. The beautiful garden, the kindest and most knowledgeable staff, the location, the big room. Nice other guests. Our true home for our vacation.

Bardzo wydajna klimatyzacja w pokoju, pokój bardzo czysty choć mały. Super śniadania

Personel ma bardzo luźny stosunek i podejście do gości, w hotelu o takim standardzie ciągłe lekceważenie gości jest niedopuszczalne. Siłownia w tym hotelu to kpina (mała połowa z wybrakowanym, zniszczonym sprzętem), basen brudny, jacuzzi nie działa.

Trotz inkludiertem Frühstück, wurden „Sonderwünsche“ beim Frühstück wie Spiegelei, hart gekochte Eier, Omelette etc. gesondert berechnet: Spiegelei 8 Eur und die anderen Eierspeisen noch mehr. Das ist für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse nicht nachvollziehbar und nicht ok!

Well, we are returning for the tenth yer in a row: same hotel, same rooms. Two reasons: the grounds and the people. Staring with Gennaro as an all star concierge (he is the soul of the resort), and all the breakfast crew, and finishing with the room cleaning crew, come here (particularly with a family), and enjoy Forte without the noise! Needless to say, we are returning next summer, and hope for a revamp promised by the new owners.

ho soggiornato in tutto il mondo in hotels da 1 (Siria 😊) a oltre 4000 USD/notte. Non amo scrivere recensioni negative, ma questo hotel ha un rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente pessimo. Impossibile avere un ferro da stiro per stirare una camicia (servizio invece avuto in molti altri 4 e anche 5 stelle). Disponibile solo servizio stiratura per 14 Euro per una camicia, inaccettabile. Biciclette affittabili, il che sarebbe un buon servizio. Solo che il servizio noleggio chiude in fine pomeriggio e quindi, essendo arrivato in fine pomeriggio, impossibile avere una bicicletta per muoversi in serata, nonostante fosse alta stagione. Anche qui, confronto impietoso con varie altre strutture di qualità frequentate. Per spostarsi di 2.1 km mi stato organizzato un servizio taxi fatturatomi 25 Euro (per 2km), anche questo inaccettabile. In stanza, nessuna bottiglia d’acqua gratuita di benvenuto (per altro in agosto con temperature di 36-37 gradi). Anche questo inaccettabile in un 4* con stanza da 400 Euro/notte. Consegnata la stanza, ho chiesto una spremuta al bar in attesa di trasporto. Impossibile avere la bibita senza dover tornare alla reception per pagare. Per fortuna la barista mi ha offerto un bicchier d’acqua. Dettaglio meno rilevante: chiusura stanze con chiave classica (non tessera elettronica) e portachiave molto ingombrante, quindi impossibile da tenere con se quando si esce, senza una borsetta. Personale quantomeno sorridente, ma apparentemente con le mani legate. Hotel altamente sconsigliato per chi sa cos’è ed è abituato ad un vero servizio a 4 o 5 stelle.

Hermitage hotel is one of my favorite places in Forte. everyone is so kind, and the facilities are very comfortable and clean. the garden is especially gorgeous. can’t wait to come back.

Very attractive hotel, set within pretty gardens, with a good sized pool and playground for children. The room was modern and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a nice balcony. The breakfast was excellent with a big buffet of fruit, ham, cheeses, croissants, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages etc. The main restaurant was also excellent. The staff were all delightful and very helpful. There was a regular shuttle bus between the beach and the town centre; there were also bikes for hire. All in all a great holiday.

Wonderful hotel! Calm environment, gorgeous grounds, large well-decorated room with huge bathroom. Dinner by the pool was lovely & delicious and the breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Our first visit to the Hermitage after numerous stays elsewhere in forte over 30+ years was a revelation ! From the friendly and professional welcome by the irrepressible Sonia to our reluctant departure after 5 glorious days of celebration we regarded this hotel as our home away from home. The staff, the accommodation and the beach all exceeded our expectations and our family)aged from 1 to 69) were all very happy ! If they'll have us back and the new management maintain the same comfort facilities and standards - we shall return!!

Staff, the breakfast, and toiletries are amazing! The rooms were clean with a design of retro-vintage-modern. It is a very mellow family friendly property.

Forte di Marmi is really an expensive place so I don't think you can find an reasonably priced hotel anywhere. However for the price we paid for the hotel gym to be so bad was disappointing. In general things felt out of date.

The pool area could be better, more choices for eggs included in breakfast , like fx omelette or fried egg.

Location and scenery is beautiful. Very nice pool, that we could not use though as it was too cold to swim (mid September) and the pool is not heated. Our room was very nice but some people from our group ended up sleeping on folding beds. The hotel arranged a convenient transport to the airport in Pisa which we really appreciated as we did not have a car rental and the taxi prices in the area are beyond crazy.

We arrived in the evening to learn that the hotel restaurant was out of order. After a long day we had to drive to a restaurant offsite and ended up eating very late. An email to the guests about this would have been easy and saved many of us the extra time and hassle. The next day there was no lunch facility for the same reason. I find this unacceptable in a property that's in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast was quite nice but at some point they ran out of eggs, ham, fresh vegetables and other supplies and did not refill them anymore. I thought this was very sad also considering the restaturant didn't work.

Im Laufe der Zeit ist nach der Renovierung etwas Pattina entstanden. Der 2 Raum roch etwas, Klimaanlage?! Die Bäder sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das betrifft ebenfalls den e Bar Raum und die Restauranträume, Dusche war in der Juniorsuite zu klein. Aber….,Personal top!

Genarro and his lovely team made our holiday amazing as ever. Esmeralda and Danilo made our breakfasts special too. This hotel is like back home for us, we love it. The rooms were kept besutifully by the superb chamber maids. Everybody at the Hotel were diligent and welcoming.
