I left my bags at reception for a few hours, believing they would be secure - as you do at any hotel. When I returned, several pieces of my property were missing: my AirPods and my jewelry. The key fact: the bags were under the receptionist's supervision the entire time. The hotel's position is that nothing could have happened because the reception was attended. Both cannot be true - my AirPods and jewelry disappeared while the bags were in their care. The hotel accepted no responsibility and offered no assistance or investigation. We requested the owner's contact details and were given a fake phone number. Apparently the owner does not live in Ericeira. We were left with no choice, but to file a police report. The room, also, had a broken window and a stained headboard. I do not recommend staying here for property safety and personal safety.

No A/C or fans so too hot! The ‘shared’ balcony was a bit awkward… although the location was fantastically central - it was noisy at night as the festival was on.

Great location and the rooms were nice. The receptionist was lovely- Phillipa- professional, friendly and interested. It would have been good if there was a fan in the bedrooms due to the heat and extra pillows for increased comfort.
