Amazing location directly at the lake! You can either swim in the pool or the lake and they provide towels. We had a hotelroom that was a little broken and got an upgrade to the villa next door. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. View from the breakfastroom and the terrace is amazing.

The rooms itself were quite dated and could very much need a upgrade. The bathrooms look amazing but are impractical, there is no shower curtain which floods the bathroom. The floor is made of marble in the room and thus very cold (especially at night). The breakfast could use some chicken/vegan options, not just pork. Lots of good looking salami/hams but unfortunate not for us.

La douchette de la baignoire sans flexible un peu dure à régler, pas d’armoire de rangement juste une tringle en hauteur pour pendre les habits et tout petits tiroirs.

Wuderbare Lage direkt am See. Schöner Pool. Gutes Frühstück mit schöner Auswahl.

Unmotiviertes Personal, am Frühstücksbuffet und am Empfang. Eine absolute Frechheit war, dass uns für drei Motorräder in der Tiefgarage, die man benutzen musste, drei Parkplätze verrechnet wurden, obwohl nur noch einer frei war und wir alle Motorräder auf einen Parkpkatz gestellt hatten. Trotz unserer Reklamation wurde gesagt, das sei halt so, man verrechne nach Fahrzeug, nicht nach Parkpkatz.

Posizione strategica sul lago, le aree comuni , il ristorante a pranzo all'aperto molto bene cucina ottima , e le ragazze in servizio ai tavoli sono state molto gentili e professionali.

Camera non da 4 stelle , fili scoperti ,TV piccola , tendina di plastica per la vasca/doccia ( che forse si usava negli anni 70)che ovviamente facendo la doccia ti si appiccica al corpo), set cortesia bagno in particolare shampoo e shower gel veramente scarsi sia come qualità che come quantità ( 1 flaconcino mignon per 2 persone ) non c'è un armadio ,i vestiti vanno appesi in alto ( sopra il mobile tv scrivania lungo posto davanti al letto) tramite un bastone apposito . In sintesi le stanze sono molto datate e andrebbero rinnovate , ma serve anche più attenzione e cura nei dettagli . A volte basta poco . Colazione appena sufficiente . Si arriva in sala e non c'è nessuno per le bevande calde ,la cameriera si presenta dopo un po' ( a mio modesto parere dovrebbero invece accogliere il cliente in sala) la scelta al buffet non è molto ampia.

L'hôtel est confortable mais mériterait quelques améliorations au niveau des pièces d'eau. La décoration des couloirs est trop sombre, ce qui rend l'intérieur du lieu un peu triste.

De ligging. Aan het meer en straatje van het dorp. Geen auto’s. Zwembad en ruimte met sfeervolle plekken om te eten en te drinken.

The location and views. The proximity to the centre. The staff. The breakfast was excellent including the provision of gluten free options.

The room was small but ok. I would have liked an armchair since one day was wet and I spent a long time in my room. There was nowhere to hang a wet raincoat or backpack. No facilities to make tea or iron a shirt.

La camera nella villa aveva una doccia con vasca che non era veramente ottima con la tenda che si appiccicava su di te tutto il tempo anche quando provavo a sistemarla. Poi consiglierei di investire in più manutenzioni perché la maniglia della porta del simili balcone quasi si staccava mentre provavi ad aprirla.

We visited Hotel San Rocco as we were considering it for our wedding in September 2027, and unfortunately the experience with the events team was extremely disappointing. The hotel itself and the location are absolutely beautiful, and we genuinely fell in love with Lake Orta and could really picture our wedding here. We also want to give special mention to Paolo, who showed us around and was absolutely fantastic. He was warm, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, everything changed when dealing with the events coordinator. There appears to be only one person handling the wedding/events enquiries, and the communication was extremely poor and frustrating throughout the process. We had travelled around Europe specifically to visit our shortlisted wedding venues. While at Hotel San Rocco, we were told that our preferred dates in September 2027 were available and that our names would be put down. We left believing we were moving forward with the venue and were waiting for the contract and next steps. Despite providing the information requested, we never received a contract. We were then informed that the dates had been given to someone else. For such a significant decision, and after travelling a long way to visit the property, we expected much better communication and professionalism. If the dates could not actually be held, this should have been made completely clear to us from the beginning. We are absolutely devastated because we genuinely loved the hotel and the area and thought we had finally found our wedding venue. Instead, due to the poor communication and handling of our enquiry, we are now having to start looking at venues all over again. It is such a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful and Paolo was brilliant, but the experience with the events coordination completely let it down for us. I would strongly recommend anyone considering Hotel San Rocco for a wedding to make sure they receive everything in writing and do not assume that dates are secured until they have a signed contract and confirmation.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, environnement très agréable et paisible. Le personnel est très sympathique et la piscine, un véritable plus. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour.

Die Lage und die Aussicht sind fantastisch! Das Frühstück war ebenfalls in Ordnung, und das Personal war bemüht, zu helfen und für die Gäste da zu sein.

Es gab nicht besonders viel Personal, und alle haben sich zwar Mühe gegeben, aber sie waren müde oder immer mit etwas anderem beschäftigt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war schlecht. Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden, da es im Zimmer und auch im Poolbereich viele beschädigte Stellen gibt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig, und ich habe gehört, dass sie in einigen anderen Zimmern gar nicht funktionierte. Das Zimmer war nicht ordentlich gereinigt.

Der dazugehörige Strand (Liege u Schirm) kostet extra auch für Hotelgäste sowie der Transfer (lässt sich akzeptieren) zum Strand. Die poolliegen werden täglich belagert mit Handtüchern und teilweise nicht genutzt. Der Bademeister macht jedoch nichts dagegen, sogar nach Anfrage nicht. Bäder sind sehr veraltet Schimmel in den Fugen und kaputte Oberflächen, Toiletten sehen dadurch nicht sauber aus. Tropfende Wasserhähne und schlechte Duschköpfe. Allgemein sind die Zimmer nicht 100% sauber gewesen. Am letzten Tag sind wir früh ausgecheckt und wollten vom Frühstücksbuffet nur einen Kaffe zum mitnehmen. Das hat uns die Servicekraft untersagt, obwohl wir es ja bezahlt haben. Das Frühstück ist auch zu einfach gehalten. Ein Teil der Eierspeisen kosten extra. Pancakes sind kalt. Wenig brotauswahl und nur zum toasten. Der Toaster ist ein normales Haushaltgerät, dementsprechend nicht für die Masse gedacht.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Direkt am See, mit Pool und eigener Tiefgarage. Man ist zu Fiss direkt in der Altstadt und im Zentrum von Orta.

Das Personal ist eine Katastrophe. Was aber primär nicht an den Menschen, sondern am Management liegt.

We kregen meteen een upgrade van standaard naar luxury. Die kamer was mega groot. Het zwembad aan het meer en de locatie van het hotel kunnen gewoon niet beter. Goede bedden en airco. De handyman was werkelijk fantastisch. Een paar lampjes bij de douche waren kapot. Toen bleek dat er echt een technicien bij moest komen om ze te repareren, verzon hij maar liefst vier opties om het 'goed' te maken, waaronder het aanbod om een heel nieuwe kamer te krijgen of om in onze eigen kamer te blijven en in een andere prachtige kamer te douchen.

Meubilair was wat gedateerd misschien.

Beste Lage, Parkgarage gleich beim Hotel, Frühstück OK. Zimmermädchen und Reception hat sehr nettes Personal. Pool mit Life Guard. See hat extrem klares Wasser.

Die Preise an der Bar. Das günstigste Glas Wein kostet EUR 10. Beim Frühstück war das Personal nicht gerade zuvorkommend. Omeletten oder Spiegeleier können gegen Rechnung bestellt werden. Ansonsten muss man sich mit pasteurisierten Eiern zufrieden geben. Morgens um 7 Uhr fliegen bereits Rundflugflugzeuge. Air Condition läuft mit 22.8 °C und kann nicht reguliert werden. Man muss aufpassen, dass man sich nicht erkältet.

Impossible de prendre le petit déjeuner en terrasse, on se retrouve dans une salle fermée au 1er étage. Les prestations du bar sont un peu excessives. Les chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement: joints, peinture, rideau en plastique pour la baignoire…..

The room with the lake view was a fire stair , no lake , then we were shown another room , a small side no balcony room , again and told it’s one or the other by back office reception . If it wasn’t for the wonderfully helpful concierge we would have a ghastly stay . He helped the situation so well either way not only moving our luggage but influencing a change to , yees small room but balcony , rooftop over looking the lake . Thankyou to him !! Customer service and making a difference . I’m sorry I dint know his name . Staff at the bar and around the pool are there but not engaged with their work . Uni kids, maybe boys working a sumner job . No engagement

De airco werkte niet, het was 29 graden op de kamer en er was een bruiloft. Veel lawaai en geen gebruik van het restaurant mogelijk. Voor de afkoeling moesten ramen open blijven

La salle du petit déjeuner est exiguë.. on s attend a pouvoir déjeuner dehors proche du lac. Nous étions dans une salle fermée sans air. Nous n avons pas eu de détails a l arrivée. Horaires de la piscine ou à priori il y a une plage privée mais nous ne savons pas comment y aller ou est ce une excursion à payer ? Idem pour la terrasse en roof top pas de détails.

L’hôtel est situé au cœur de Orta San Giulia. L’accueil est chaleureux. La chambre, vue sur lac, est de belle dimension et bien équipée même si l’ensemble est vieillot. D’ailleurs il n’y a pas de flexible pour la douche et la Clim n’est pas réglable (glagla). Le personnel est vraiment très attentionné. L’espace petit déjeuner est assez glauque. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils nous enferment dans cette pièce alors qu’ils ont une belle terrasse vue lac !!! Globalement un bon séjour malgré ces anachronismes.
