Our stay was wonderful! As soon as we arrived we found the parking super easy, and the staff were very warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was so cute and cosy, and we had a very good night sleep after hiking up Mount Snowdon just a few hours prior to arriving to the hotel. We didn't have to ask for anything, our room was very prepared and had plenty of condiments for teas and coffees, and our hair dryer, iron, and iron board were in great condition too. We had dinner and drinks at the bar and restaurant- delicious food and drinks! The breakfast at the hotel was delicious too, I really liked that there was a mix of cooked and continental, such a lovely way to start the day. The views of the beautiful countryside around the hotel were breathtaking, and it was good that it wasn't too far from Snowdon National Park too. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here, and would love to come back again!

The only thing we noticed that could be improved on was re painting the ceiling and one of the walls in the bathroom, but aside from that, our room was lovely!

Kurze, knappe Abfertigung beim Empfang. Wie es die Bilder schon vermuten lassen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung, alles knirscht und knatscht etwas, ziemlich hellhörig. Mein Mann hat ein Fenster repariert, welches sich nicht richtig schließen ließ und es zog. :D

Breakfast lacked options, esp if you don't want a cooked meal e.g. no orange juice, no fruit/yogurt/cheese or bakery alternatives! 'Hot' items weren't hot, luke-warm at best! Bathroom had a continual unpleasant sewage/plumbing odour. Some light-bulbs in bathroom flickered constantly, some had a defective light level - despite reporting this nothing happened - bad for the eyes & not comfortable. Lack of a lift + inadequate hand-rails on the awkward spiral (and only) staircase needs addressing. On arrival we were NOT made aware of the purpose of a fob on the keyring, so when we were locked out one evening BEFORE 23:00* (info said not closed & locked until this time*), returning at 22:30 to find we couldn't enter the building, we were very upset & had to rouse one of the other residents to let us in. There should be a PHYSICAL INFORMATION notice in each room with a summary of iinfo including fire safety notes, Wifi code, key fob instruction & any other useful/helpful data, plus an emergency MOBILE phone number in addition to the advertised landline number, which often receives no response! The bfast was very limited, no orange juice, dogs was allowed in the restaurant which was barking which was not good , there should be a different area if you want your dog with you , I really didn’t feel when your eating bfast with a dog watching me eat . The bed needed a new mattress as it was very lumpy and hard .

The location was good, it had supermarkets, food shops, resturants and other facilities close by, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and as someone of colour raised in the city i was comfortable and treated normal which I was hesitant about whilst being away from home

The hotel is not as clean as it should be, it needs refurbishing and thorough clean, the carpets are dirty throughout the venue the room toilet itself was filthy, yet had a ribbon on it to say it had been cleaned, it had not! - old doesnt mean it needs to be left dilapidated, A lot of work needs to be done

In all the stay at the Eagles was very good and even though we only stayed 2 nights we found it very relaxing and the staff were great and helpful to .The breakfast in the morning was not to be missed because the cook did a perfect job as it was lovely also the evening meal .it is a very busy place for passing traffic through the town but we enjoyed our stay at the Eagles Hotel and the 2 adorning Eagles at the entrance to the building are spectacular .

The service was warm and attentive, the food was good, and the pricing offered fantastic value. Our room was spotlessly clean, featuring a lovely four-poster bed and an excellent shower.

The accommodation is quite old and quirky, which may not suit anyone looking for a sleek, modern layout, but it didn't detract from our stay.

A typical small town hotel with lots of history which is not earning enough for thorough maintenance and cleaning. It's a nice hotel. The staff are polite and helpful but not particularly welcoming. Our room was pleasant , modern, with a stylish bathroom, but it could have done with a little boost cleaning wise. Breakfast was good but the choice was quite limited. Cereals but no muesli, juice but no fruit and a very nice full cooked breakfast plus toast. Evening there is good bar food at reasonable prices.

BUT our room was on the second floor and there is no lift. The stairs would be tricky for non nimble people. Finally, we are smokers. The area outside is designated smoking, but is not cleaned properly. Cigarette buts everywhere (shame on other smokers) plus general muck not brushed. Ash trays not emptied and nowhere to empty them. Dog owners seem very welcome, but are smokers?

The rooms were clean a good size. The bathroom was lovely. It was everything I needed.

I didn’t like walking up the stairs because I have suffered wrap problems so that was a bit much for me but it wasn’t too bad cause I wasn’t. I was just on the first floor.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wirklich schönen Gebäude mit viel Charme. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Badezimmer war gut ausgestattet und hat uns gefallen.

Insgesamt war das Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung. Allerdings merkt man an einigen Stellen, dass die Innenräume inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Eine Renovierung würde dem schönen Gebäude sicher guttun. Im Badezimmer hätten wir uns außerdem ein paar zusätzliche Handtuchhalter gewünscht.

It's a bit tired but at the price it's difficult to fault

The location for us is what we needed, and we have stayed before and last time loved the buffet breakfast. Its easier for me as I like a few eggs in the morning. But now they have a little menu and you choose. And that part I will cover in the didnt like. However, the coffee pot was nice and hot/ Staff are helpful and the pint of sanmiguel very good.. Shops less than a minute away.

A shame the buffet breakfast wasnt on, and when asked why, he said we dont do it if not busy, They were fully booked as couple were refused a room the night before.. so... not nice lying to me. It could change if we return. TV to small for the room.

Absolutely lovely place and the staff are great so helpful and always happy to help. The food was exceptional 👌 breakfast was lovely and the evening meals wow so tasty and reasonable prices I would recommend this place 👌

The only thing that I can complain about was the bed. So uncomfortable, we didn't sleep and was awake every hour due to the mattress 😫 but that is the only thing.

Booked 3 rooms . 1 room was not very clean. A lot of mould in bathroom and springs sticking out of mattress.

The area and the family room was great I went last year and iv been back this year and planning on going back soon we loved it

It wasn’t clean. The whole ‘hotel’ needs a complete deep clean and refurbishment . The moment you walk into the reception area the atmosphere brings you down. The carpets are filthy the woodwork has not been cleaned in a very long time.The bedroom was only ok. The shower room had been recently upgraded but painting a plastic hand basin unit and toilet backing was not an upgrade it was a ‘make do’ decision and the wrong one.

The room was a little rundown compared to other hotels i have stayed in at a similar price bracket. The bed was very uncomfortable and stiff with springs that i felt every time i took a breath. The bar closed very early aswell which i was suprised with aswell. The hotel wasnt bad by any stretch, but at the price i paid, im disappointed

The location was absolutely brilliant. Tucked away in a little village deep in the hills of Wales. Lots of amenities close by. The Hotel was a good price and the staff were really helpful and polite. There was a bar on site and they provided breakfast. All in all not a bad get away.

We booked the room through booking.com which we always do. The wife and I have used this site for many years now. When we booked it, it showed a lovely room with a modern bathroom and a fabulous view of the village out off the bedroom window. This is not what we got. It was very dated, the bathroom was nothing like on the website and there was a wall right outside our window rather than the view it showed us. Wasn't really happy with the room.

No staff available early hours of the morning and keyfob failed to let me back in.

Staff were very helpful, even swapped our room from the second floor to the first as my wife struggles with stairs. The room was spacious and well equipped, two lovely seats as well as a four poster bed.

The cold water to the basin was just a trickle but when reported seemed to be taken seriously and details were passed to their maintenance person. The breakfast, although cooked just right, could have been hotter.

The room was large and very comfortable, it was hot during our stay and fans were already placed in the room. Dinner was very good and well presented, it was reasonably priced. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. All staff were very welcoming and efficient.

Das Eagles Hotel ist ein schönes altes Gemäuer in zentraler Lage von Llanrwst. Obwohl zum Zeitpunkt unserer Ankunft im Hotel eine große Veranstaltung lief, war unser Parkplatz frei, und wir wurden sehr freundlich zum Check-In empfangen. Das Zimmer lag zwar im zweiten Stock und konnte nur über eine Treppe erreicht werden, zeigte sich aber recht groß und gut ausgestattet. Gleiches lässt sich über das offensichtlich neu renovierte Bad sagen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

Durch die Veranstaltung war es auch spätabends noch sehr laut im Haus - aber damit muss man an einem Freitagabend halt rechnen.

The room was a decent size, the walk-in shower was good and water hot. Breakfast was what I would expect from such a hotel. Getting back in after "closing" time was very easy. Good car parking

We were on the first floor but even so the stairs were a bit bendy and difficult to navigate with a case and my walking stick. Fortunately, we had family with us to help. A grab rail in the shower would have been helpful also, though I hadn't thought to check on this before we booked.. The toilet roll holder was broken and just a jagged spike stuck out of the wall. There were lights over the vanity unit in bathroom but we couldn't find a switch for it anywhere. Presumably there had been a leak because there were big stains on the ceiling.

We stayed here for 4 nights. What a lovely little hotel. Really good location with the woodlands and mountains on your doorstep... The room was spacious and bed comfy. The food was absolutely spectacular. The breakfast ingredients were amazing quality. Big big shout out to Manny who was such an amazing host. Super attentive and polite and great service from him.. lovely guy! We will 100% be back; already looking forward to it!

Poor shower

The setting was superb, right alongside the river with beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room bedroom was pleasant and comfortable.

The walls were very thin and corridor noise was intrusive. The bathroom needs sprucing up (paint and grouting are tired). The vegetarian cooked breakfast stated "vegetarian sausage" of which there were 2, comprising mashed up potato (mostly) and vegetables fried with a crispy coating in the shape of a sausage - they were like has browns but mushy and horrible - much better proper vegetarian sausages are available which would have improved breakfast massively (chef are you reading this), so I would avoid the ones in this hotel; with mushed potato sausages and hash browns and toast the vegetarian cooked breakfast was very beige and carbo loaded- not as expected.

Friendly staff, good service, great breakfast

The Eagle is a traditional town centre hotel and despite its age seemed well maintained with clean and modern facilities in my room. I had a good meal in one of the two bars and a good breakfast in the pleasant restaurant. All the staff were helpful and efficient. Llanrwst makes few concessions to tourists but it is in a very nice setting on the river and within easy reach of the mountains and woodland walks. I was there mid week and it was quiet overnight, other than when Argentina beat England at the World Cup and the town suddenly became Buenos Aires!

Only stayed one night, en route to Zip World in Snowdonia. Good value as breakfast included. Tired looking in places. Bathroom has been modernised either the exception of flooring and the broken tiles let it down.

The location was fine but the hotel was not good. No room service. We stayed for 3 nights but are room was not cleaned and bed sheets were not changed. In the room there was damp all over the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower was not working properly. The fan was not working properly. The hotel was smelly.

The Eagles Hotel is an old-school property with tons of ambiance and character. It also includes all modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay—good heating, solid wifi, good water pressure in the shower, and secure parking. As a plus, a generous freshly-cooked breakfast was included in the price of my stay. The town itself has plenty of restaurants and shops. Even at a late hour, I had access to multiple options for dinner. Very highly recommended for both a short stay or longer-term base when hiking/traveling in Snowdownia!

Lovely situation in the centre of the small town by the river. Comfortable bed, the single room was ideal. Ample parking. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Staff friendly and engaging.

Frukosten var ok - varm frukost, men anna tilbehør som drikke og syltetøy var ganske basic. Veldig fin beliggenheit rett ovanfor elva og nært til ulike butikkar og pubbar.

Dei serverte ikkje lunsj fram til kl 17, som omtalen sa. Reinhaldet var litt dårleg, og det var ikkje housekeeping, sjølv om vi overnatta to netter. Hotellet var litt slitent.
