There are hotels that deliver on standards, and then there are those that quietly go beyond them in ways you only truly appreciate when you leave. My stay at Crowne Plaza Madinah was firmly the latter. From the moment I arrived, there was a noticeable sense of care that didn’t feel procedural. As an IHG Diamond member, I’ve come to expect a certain level of recognition, but here it felt more personal than transactional. Room 820 became more than just a place to rest, it felt considered, prepared, and genuinely looked after. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable, the kind of space where everything simply works without you needing to think about it. After long hours at the Haram, that level of comfort matters more than one might expect. What stood out most, however, was the consistency. Housekeeping and room service were not only prompt but meticulous, always attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s a difficult balance, and they managed it effortlessly. The lounge deserves a special mention. Calm, well-kept, and thoughtfully run, it provided a welcome space to pause and reset. The team there carried the same tone as the rest of the hotel, warm, respectful, and quietly attentive. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing felt overlooked. And then there is the location. Being so close to the Haram changes the entire experience of Madinah. It removes the friction, allowing you to focus on why you are truly there. That proximity, combined with the comfort of returning to a place that feels settled and cared for, made a meaningful difference to my stay. What Crowne Plaza Madinah does well is not loud or overdone. It’s the accumulation of small, consistent acts of diligence and care that stay with you. In a city that already carries so much weight and meaning, having a hotel that understands its role in that experience is something I won’t forget.

The location is very close to services and within walking distance of the Prophet's Mosque. The hotel has a calm and wonderful atmosphere, and the rooms have a lovely scent. The rooms are spacious and varied, ranging from two to four beds, and family suites are well-maintained and clean. The staff is wonderful and helpful, the food is excellent, the buffet is superb, and the welcoming atmosphere is exceptional. I highly recommend it. The price is very reasonable considering the services and for a hotel belonging to the InterContinental group. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic hotel, and it won't be our first or last time.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with very professional service from the staff. I would especially like to thank Jihan, the Public Relations Manager, for her genuine care throughout our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to Al Haram as well as nearby food and shopping options. As a small suggestion, a bit more attention to cleanliness would further enhance the experience. The property does show its age, and the room—particularly the bathroom—felt quite small for a 4 star hotel. Overall, we appreciated the hospitality and the convenience the hotel offers.

lovely stay at this place and would like to give a massive shout out to two special customer service staff: 1st - Maysan who helped me with a room change due to being put in a room that was too big for us - Maysan went above and beyond to deal with my query, she signposted me after our initial interaction so I knew what time to make further contact and she recognised that i was stressed and anxious and calmed me down by treating me as an individual, not just another customer (456) she will understand if she ever see's this ❤️ 2nd - Aminah who delivered exceptional 100/100 customer service for me after she was assigned to complete the room change. Aminah showed a lot of empathy, fully made sure I was happy with the room and also offered extra help to make sure all my luggage and belongings were safely transported to the new room ❤️ I would actually go as far as saying that thanks to these 2 special young ladies I would definitely be returning to this hotel purely because the customer service that I received was definitely 5*!

stayed at the Crowne Plaza Madinah By IHG in mid-November with friends from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. The reason was to perform Umrah. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is only a few minutes walk from the Prophet Mohammed's Holy Mosque. Our group came to the hotel around 3 am. They gave us a wonderful welcome. We were all sprinkled with trays of roses, received a pack of dates and water. Unexpected, but they also prepared a big cake for us. It was delicious and refreshed us. I had the impression that I had come home after a long journey and not to a hotel. My only complaint is that the room we got was small for three guests and unfortunately had a view of the inner courtyard. The beds are comfortable. The bedding is sparkling white. They have a mini bar, iron, ironing board, scale, safe, hairdryer and clothesline in the bathroom (above the shower). Towels are changed every day. Water, coffee and tea are brought every day. Breakfast is buffet-style and there is something for everyone. There is a large selection of cooked dishes, different types of bread, cheese, fruit, vegetables, salads, soups, cakes, etc. There is no possibility that there is nothing for you for breakfast. It meant a lot to me that you always had detox water available at the reception. The hotel employees are incredibly helpful and try to help you in every situation. And there is always a smile on their face. We needed a wheelchair to transport a colleague and they immediately provided it for us free of charge. With the desire to be your guest again, I warmly recommend this hotel. And of course, I wish you much success in your future work.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 8 days during our stay in Madina. Safe to say we have had a great time. The hotel itself is up to standard and a close to the masjid. The standout feature for us was the customer service; from the reception staff to the breakfast team, everyone was helpful and accommodating. A big shout to Zahir the restaurant manager for looking after us during our stay. The desi chai was perfect!

I walked in to the hotel after a long drive from Makkah and the hotel lobby smelled amazing beautiful fresh late in the evening smell of jasmine it felt so welcoming and the duty manager Omar was so helpful kind and went above and beyond to ensure our 5 days stay had no issue. Kitchen manager Zaheer insure my dietary needs for breakfast were met daily without hesitation. All the foh staff bell boy team laundry house keeping every call I made was answered with respect and was always answered and things sent immediately. Daily complimentary treats sent out to my room. (lol put a little weight with the delicious treats thank you) I have stayed at many crown plaza but this visit felt like I was welcomed wanted there my presence was made to feel a burden Thank you to every member of staff at crown plaza madina for an amazing hospitality that no other hotel will ever able to meet in my eyes my expectations will be so high because of how you have treated us. We have very good stay in the hotel except the room air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Very good service by the staff specially zahir faraz from breakfast areas. Staffs were very friendly and always ask for help. Check in and check out is was very quick.

Our highlight of the day has been our x2 meal times. Mr Zahir Faraz was more than a Personal Butler. Nothing was too much. The attention to the details and warmth was exceptional. This is our Annual Umrah and Crowne Plaza has been our favourite choice. Keep it up and maintain the Team Spirit.

The hotel was very close to the mosque and it was clean and tidy, the staff were so friendly and accommodating especially Fatimah, she was so helpful and graceful, she helped me out with directions and she even gave me recommendations for food and places to visit in madinah.

Zahir faraz,did an outstanding job by making sure our breakfast was to perfection.He went above and beyond and took care of both of us very professionally. An Asset to your organization.Saqib at the omlete station was also amazing and always smiling.What a great team you have there Bravo!!!!!

Zahir Faraz in the restaurant made our stay so much more enjoyable. His hospitality was excellent. He would make the effort each morning to come and say hello to our family and ensure we had everything we needed and more whilst at the restaurant.
