Next to bars winter garden
Fairly well located on a long strip of Blackpool hotels. The fellow who checked us in was very nice.
Had a bit of a run-down vibe. Seemed pretty old and abandoned.
Amazing people lovely area definitely be staying again
It was cental ,close to all I wanted to do.. Made very welcome by host who were helpful during my stay. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Beverage tray. Ensuite was a bonus. Cellar bar was very popular. Sorry I never got down.
Nothing.
Decent breakfast, close to winter garden as we were going to a show
Dated, very dirty shower,
Breakfast was good
Place was a bit outdated
It was a great wee room. Had storage, a tv, bathroom, room for me and my daughter. I’d stay here again!
The only downside is that there’s a lot of stairs. I’m quite lazy so that should be taken into consideration.
Clean and comfortable and good location
Everything was fine
Location
Room overlooked council work yard so we were Woking at 6 o clock every day noises from work vans and trolleys .Then workmen put food for seagulls and the noise from them at least 10 would come . Bedding on bed was clean . Rest of room was unclean .
Was coned at the time of booking. Included in the list of facilities was parking i.e private bathroom , parking , free wifi etc . Highly misleading as I was expecting parking. In Blackpool that is a big selling point and that's why we booked it. When we arrived and where the parking was said that there was along the street in a public car park you had to pay for which is pathetic. He spoke to us as if we were children. We decided to go elsewhere. We applied for our money back but did not get any satisfaction.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming.
The walls are a bit too thin as I could hear the people in the room next to me quite clearly.
I had the single room and it was amazing , bed was so comfy and everything I needed just brilliant
Nothing at all
The hotel was clean and comfortable, all you need for a few nights stay 🙂 the owners very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The location is ideal, close to central pier and coral island.
Nothing, we enjoyed our stay, thank you.
It was very cheap ,the bed was comfy ,the breakfast had a good variety , the guest house was clean the host was very pleasant ,it was in a good location too ,very central for everything .
The room was great ,we did not have an ensuite ,but had keys to a private bathroom just for us ,i just prefer an ensuite ,but for the cost cannot complain really .
Beds were comfortable and the property was central.
It was very a tired property. It looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70's, but not in a good way. The sink in our room had a massive crack and a chip out of it. We weren't sure even if we could use it. The headboard has a rip in it and it was just grubby. We had a separate bathroom that had a horrible smell to it. The shower plug was a hole, not covered. My friend had a walking stick as she had mobility issues, we were not impressed when the laundry arrived and it was left in the main hallway. It was just left there all day so she had difficulty manoeuvring around it. Expensive for what it was, wish we had gone elsewhere. Next time we will.
Just back from a five night stay. I had a double room and it was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. Brilliant powerful shower. George and Jennie are lovely and really friendly. There's a quirky little bar also. I've rebooked for next year
The location of the hotel is fantastic. I was attending a festival in the Wintergardens and it was a five minute walk. It is also very close to the seafront and the Tower. I had a very nice view of the Tower at breakfast each morning. I found it to be very comfortable and homely. Jennie and George, the owners were great hosts. My room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of fresh towels. The bed linen was also spotless. I had breakfast each morning which was tasty and plentiful. Fresh fruit and yogurt, and a cooked breakfast, which was very good quality and piping hot. There is a cosy cellar bar in the hotel, which is a really nice addition. I would highly recommend the hotel and will be booking again for next year.
Nothing. It was a very comfortable stay.
The location. 15 min walk from the station and only 6 min walk from Wintergardens which is where I spent most of the time.
It was a little dated, it could do with a bit of a facelift to freshen the place up.
Super accueil... Très typique
The breakfast The location The host The room (12) were all perfect!
It was a lovely stay
Jennie and George welcome us well. They gave us guide to navigate around Blackpool. we had a pleasant stay.
The location was good and service.
Excellent George and jenny couldn't do enough for customers nothing was toomuch for them and that was our 4th visit exceptional breakfast deffo be back

The hotel was excellent. George and Jennie were very friendly. The breakfast was great. The room was small ( as expected) but big enough for the two of us, very cosy. A BIG thank you to George and Jennie. Hope to see you next year. Tony 🤓 and Angela 😁 XX
Great location, a lovely place to stay, ideal for couples, nice breakfast, the cellar bar was great, the owners were very helpful and friendly.
A true gem of a hotel. Outstanding cleanliness. Nothing too much trouble if asked. Crisp white sheets and the comfiest of beds and pillows. Bonus of a micro pub in basement. George and Jenny perfect hosts. And Jenny wow what a voice on the karaoke. We will return.
Hosts very attentive, breakfast was excellent and very well cooked. The decor is a little dated it’s great value for money. Lovely white towels and bedding. Council site next to the hotel workers arrive from 6am and are very noisy.
Bed was very uncomfortable, my daughters were in the room next to us and there bed was very comfortable.
Absolutely brilliant
Everything
Good vfm and ideal location 👌
Yes hotel was lovely very clean great food Jennie+George looked after us brilliant near Hounds Hill shopping centre +the tower+winter gardens yesterday would stay there again
Its very near shopping centre the Tower+the winter gardens
Great staff very welcoming, lovely bar in the cellar

Breakfast was great. Location was great. Owners were lovely.
If I had to nitpick the parking. Like most places on Blackpool its permit only and the car park literally next door and cost £20 for 3 days parking so I am nitpicking. There wasn’t an issue although it wasn’t very busy so perhaps a busier period may be more difficult to park.
Breakfast poor

Очень гостеприимный хозяин!!! Всё понравилось!! Уютно, чисто, радушный хозяин))) как будто приехали в гости, а не в отель!!!
The breakfast was lovely would definitely recommend. The room was great too, the hosts also brilliant.
It has been one of the best one I have been in at Blackpool a
Very comfortable
Next to a yard.could do with double glazing They started work at 6 am
Lovely friendly welcome from George .It was like stepping back in time having enjoyed many holidays in Blackpool as a child. Small twin room was ideal for myself and son and the bathroom was right next door to our room which was not used by other guests. Our room was the only one with no ensuite in hotel due to load bearing wall. Aware of this on booking so no issue . White ,fresh clean bed covers and comfortable beds Breakfast was absolutely brilliant and piping hot. Served by George who is an absolute gentleman .Compliments to the chef as its rare to get a meal so hot and delicious with no waiting around as order taken on arrival and offer of time to eat also .This worked great for us . As i was travelling with my 10 year old son i was a little apprehensive about going down to the cellar bar on saturday night but so glad we did .What a lovely time we had .My little boy had his first karaoke experience cheered on by some locals and the lovely landlady Jennie .It was like being with family so relaxed and fun . We had such a lovely few days .Thank you for your hospitality .
Room could do with fresh coat of paint . Having to leave !
Nothing
Everything It was next to a council depo that both Saturday and Sunday were dragging bins about chatting in groups outside the window at 6am Unfortunately my mum booked it on reviews and location thinking most b&b are similar ! Mistake number one look at the pictures! A photograph of two dirty armchairs that look like they are part of the Enfield haunting set.what is that about? The carpet must be 50+ years old and every bit of cooking and kitchen odour has become part of the carpets fibres that reminds me of an old peoples home upon entrance. When the host asked me what I would like for breakfast in the morning an instant lump formed in my oesophagus . There was no way I could eat somewhere that smells and is dirty. The reviews were all wonderful… ok maybe the room will be good ….lets try and be positive it’s only two nights after all. The room is awful the carpets has thick dust and grime round the edges thus setting off sneezing fits. It is old dirty and run down it needs an overhaul . It reminded me of Pontins that has now been condemned. The host was pleasant enough however I asked for a refund so I could move. This was declined so I had no choice but to stay. I found a lovely little cafe called the hive to eat. Many people go to Blackpool for dancing so I’m sure that’s why it stays open. I cannot wait to get home I’m sure a homeless person would be grateful to stay here but not me ever again.
Not much apart from the landlord who was very pleasant
Unfortunately the hotel is in a bad state of repair...mold in the shower and windows, and I ground dirt on carpets that look like they have been there forever. The hotel smelt so bad.. paint chipped of everything that was painted. It was unclean. At side of hotel is a council depot with environmental vans coming and men shouting at 6am. I do not understand how this gets a rating of over 8 and I will be asking Booking.com to investigate. I have included photos which really speak for themselves...they are only a small sample.
How close it was too everything super and clean and everything you needed
The breakfast was very lovely
Was good hotel and very central for everything I wanted to do
Nothing apart bar was shut but obviously through staffing problems great other wise
Beds comfortable room clean Breakfast was amazing Hosts we're very friendly

Clean and comfortable, really friendly owner/staff
The owner George was very accommodated
quiet, near the Wintergardens, good as usual
turn on the heat 2 days earlier because after the closed time the building is cold as hell - under the roof wlan is not woeking!!!
Great location. Clean and tidy. Very warm welcome.
No lift
The staff is extremely friendly! Breakfast was very good and in the basement there is a pub which serves great beer. I was there for a conference at the winter garden which is a 5 minute walk. Very convenient. Very happy with my choice. If I return to the conference, it will be a no brainer to stay there again . Highly recommended.
The breakfast was amazing thank you.
Nothing could have been better
The hotel was quiet and the owners were very accommodating with a late check in. The room was quite small for 3 people but was clean and comfortable.
Comfortable bed, quiet room. Great breakfast.
Nothing
Excellent breakfast. Excellent owners. The only thing was the room was too small, but we knew that when we booked. As we were rather late booking for the new year. The area and parking was excellent. We would come again. Would just ask for a bigger room. Therr
Only the room size.
Nothing
The place was like a students room and was not very big and old fashioned
Access to the town parking nxt door excellent couple and helpful great little bar down stairs
Stairs
The owners were very approachable.me room was lovely .
It was a great location. Also we knocked on the door when we arrived in Blackpool to see if we could leave our luggage and come back later to check in, but we weretold our room was all ready for us so we were able to check in early. Great, variation of breakfast.

It was cosy, bedroom nive size and bed comfortable. Cellar bar excellent, breakfast was good , host was pleasant and polite value for money
It bit dated, was on 3rd floor so a little trek upstairs, no parking which l was led to believe on booking. Cost £27 for 2 days in car park next door.
Staff is very kind and friendly
Not flexible breakfast hours Not good matrass/creaking double bed
The friendly welcome and excellent breakfast
Hotel a bit dated but still very nice and great hosts definitely good value for money will be back
The room was small but very nice. The beds were so comfortable which ensured I had a good night sleep. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to your taste. Close to the front and entertainment
Easy access to the car park , Hotel manager George very helpful and accommodating
Leaky shower
Comfortable beds, rooms have iron-ironing board, hairdryer, kettle (tea and coffee)good wardrobe (plenty of hangers)...very good cookbreakfast also includes cereal and yogurt ect...hosts are very polite...the large bar situated in the cellar is a little gem serving regular beers and real ale and from 9 oclock at the weekend the landlady sings(ex cabaret singer) and also invites you to sing on the karaoke in between songs...BnB-BEER-CABARET-DISCO-KARAOKE-all rolled in one...GREAT VALUE...and if you're peckish has nice oven bottom cheese n onion Barms....
Nothing !!!
Jenny and George where very good hosts
Climbing 4 flights of stairs to much for 84 and 75 old fossils.
Friendly owners Lovely breakfast (selection of cereal and full cooked options pre ordered the night before) Great location, 5 mins from town centre Less than 10 minutes from Tower….could actually see the tower from my breakfast table
No dislikes However our room was one of the top rooms so if you have difficulty with stairs definitely specify you need to have 1 on the first floor
The property is quaint but has character and is very clean with comfortable beds. It was like stepping back in time! Proprietor was lovely.
Bathroom is small but shower was nice
Location was OK never tried breakfast
Lower floor.
Breakfast, the owners very polite clean and tidy
Having to use the bathroom next door to room bit of a pain getting up in the night if you needed the toilet ,
Breakfast was really good. Bed was comfy. Located next door to a large public car park and is a 5 minute walk to the seafront (Coral Island/Tower area).
Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful Our room was comfortable and spacious Lovely food
Entertainment was only available at weekend
The hotel is in a great location, close enough to eveything and far enough away to be peaceful when required. The people were lovely and made us feel very welcome.
There are a lot of stairs. Not really an issue for us, but worth noting for anyone that might struggle.
Everything
I loved the rooms and the nice little touch with the celebrity pillows. Felt very warm and comfortable, welcoming. Host welcomed us and was friendly, offered to go above and beyond even though it was out of season and things were closed.
I didn't think there was a great deal on the breakfast and the coffee didn't seem to stay hot for long but the taste was lovely. Also the confusion over the dinner booking left an aweful feeling I understood there was a spechial event to get and staff were rushing around but could have been told in a different way and nicer. I made a mistake and got confused. Also not being able to sit in a communal area and have a coffee. Would have been nice rather than in the room all the time, something different and watch the world go by,when we asked the response was well haven't you got tea and coffee in your room. There's a tv and two chairs in dining area. I dont think It would have hurt too much a couple before leaving used it and were allowed so I didn't quite understand why we weren't and other people were in there.
Very nice breakfast, sunday lunch. Staff warm and friendly. Close to everything . Car parking Very close.
