Dormy Inn Express Kakegawa Natural Hot Spring

The room is bigger than I expected and is pretty comfortable. I love that they provide free noodles at night, free probiotics drink in the morning and free ice cream from 3 pm to 1 am. There is a public bath on the top floor, which looks very clean and nice but I didn’t use. The hotel is about .4 miles from Kakegawa station and is a good place to stay for going to an event at Ecopa stadium/arena.

施設や食事は申し分ありませんでした。唯一、掛川城が見えない部屋だったのが残念でした。

ホテルの施設はとても良いですが、掛川の街自体が飲食店が少ないので宴会なしの夕食探しに苦労しました。

窓から掛川城が見えて、大浴場も良かったです。 夜や朝のお風呂上がりにアイスクリームや乳酸菌飲料が無料で飲食出来ます。 部屋の冷蔵庫にも、ウエルカムサービスで白桃ゼリー！　とても美味しかったです(^^) あと夜食に無料の夜中ラーメンもあり、とても良かったです！ 泊まるなら、ココがおすすめですよ！

おおむね気に入りました。正直満足な滞在でしたが、あえて不満点をあげるとすれば 朝食代が高い 公式サイト等みてもチェックインの時間が分からない 夜鳴きそばの時刻が遅い 近くにコンビニがない 些細なことをあげさせていただきました。

お部屋も綺麗でしたし、食事も美味しかったです。

乳酸菌サービスが時間に間に合っていませんでした。 夜なきラーメンの麺が半茹でな気がしました。 もう少し熱湯で茹でた方がいいかもです。 相対的には満足です。

駐車場代が発生する事を説明なく、後1台分空いているか分からん無いとの説明で請求された。 受付の女性は投げ遣りな対応で朝の食事の追加にも混んでいるの理由で半ば断わる方に誘導している様に感じた。

駅から歩くと少しだけ遠いのがデメリット。 ただ、ホテル内は綺麗で、スタッフの対応も良かった。 また、露天風呂もあってゆっくり入れるし、上がった後は無料のアイスを食べることができる点が魅力的だった。 朝食は絶対につけた方が良い。うなぎのご飯を食べることができる！

二度目の利用ですが、温泉も設備もサービスも文句なし。唯一合わないのは枕の硬さでした。でもこれは個人まちまちなので、総合的には大変よかったです。

Always feel good when live in Dormy inn. There are several restaurants nearby, open until 10-12. That would be perfect if the sauna could be opened until 2am. It is a pity that I go to enjoy the hotspring at around 1 am. Just missed it.

観光で行くには、寂しい街だ。

部屋はとても清潔ですし、風呂もとっても気持ちが良くて、サウナルームにテレビが置いてあるのは驚きました。朝のブュッフェも思ったより充実で美味しいです。夜鳴きそばは利用しなかったけど、サービスがナイス👍 朝、ルームガードは風呂行く途中館内で紛失したけど、すぐ丁寧に作り直してくださったので助かりました！

スタッフの方が親切でした。夜鳴きラーメンのサービスも最高でした。

夜鳴きそばがいつ食べても美味しい （今回特に作ってくださる方の笑顔がとてもよかったです） 最上階の露天風呂は水質もよく、いつ入浴しても清潔が保たれていたし、清掃の方も皆さん挨拶してくださって感じがよかった。

つま恋での夏フェスの際に利用しました．満室でお客さんで溢れているなか，予約者ひとりひとりにとても丁寧で迅速な対応をしてくださいました．荷物の預かり，大浴場，アイスや夜鳴きそば，冷蔵庫のお水やゼリーのサービスが疲れた身体に沁みました．地図だけ見ると駅から遠そうな印象ですが，大通りを行けば数分でスムーズに辿り着けます．次回もまた利用させていただきます！素晴らしい滞在をありがとうございました！

地方都市を一人旅するとき、もしそこにドーミーインがある場合は最優先の選択肢になるのは間違いありません。 掛川駅北口から徒歩１０分ほどかかりますが、お城（特に大手門）まですぐ、近場にうな重のおいしい店（甚八）、優良なお茶販売店（大浜園）、カステラや羊羹の名店（伊藤菓子舗）、さらにはねむの木学園のアンテナショップがあるなど、観光客にはとても魅力的な立地ですね。 温泉大浴場もサウナと水風呂付で、ビジネスホテルにはもったいない規模と内容が夜通し楽しめます。 そのためか、平日ながら満室御礼だったのですが、ちょっと気になったのは、限られた要員で多忙を極めているせいなのか、フロントにピリピリ感があったこと。でもこれはコロナ後の繁盛店ではどこでも少なからず感じられることですが。 あと、コンビニはかなり遠いです。掛川駅からの来がけならば、北口前のローソンで買い物してチェックインするか、チェックインしてからはホテル正面の県道３７号線を西にまっすぐ歩いてファミリーマートに向かうか、どちらかでしょう。

大浴場、サウナ、露天風呂、風呂上がりのアイス等もあり良かった。 朝食も小鉢で色々な料理が食べれて満足した。

近所の飲食店を案内してもらった

試合がある度に訪れる掛川。いつも他のホテルに泊まってましたがホテル.comのボーナスステイで以前から気になっていたドーミーさんに泊まりました。サポさんから温泉が良いと勧められてました。あいにくの雨でしたが、温泉はゆっくり堪能する事が出来ました。静かで落ち着いており又機会があれば利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

シングルでもベッドは広いので快適です、 ドーミーインの大浴場は好きですが、ここは少し狭いように感じました。 外湯はかなり熱いです。 部屋着とスリッパで館内を移動できるのは良いです。 ただ、私の泊まった部屋には上衣しかなくて、持っていったスェットで過ごしていました。 朝食は種類も多く、たくさん食べられるのが良いですね。 掛川駅北口から徒歩数分。 花鳥園には北口からバスに乗り、掛川城はすぐ近くという立地の良さもポイントが高いです。

お部屋はドアで区切られ、快適でした。 大浴場はコンパクトながら、混雑なく、 必要な物は揃っていました。 夜鳴きそば、風呂あがりのアイス、朝の乳酸菌飲料、フロントのコーヒーサービス等楽しみました。 連泊だったので 翌日の大浴場の番号をフロントまで行かずに済むとありがたいです。 また利用します。

早めに到着してしまったが、15時まではチェックイン出来ないと言われたので待っていたのに、15時前に来た人達がどんどんチェックインして行くのはいかがなものか？ チェックイン待ち3組しか居なかったのに、把握出来てないのはちょっと気分が悪かった。

暑い折の宿泊でしたが、空調が効き、清潔な部屋、ぐっすり眠れた快適なベッド、温泉と夜食のラーメンも楽しめました。

何度か利用しております。最大の利点は何と言っても、最上階にある温泉とサウナですね。 今回ものんびりサウナでととのいました。 仕事でもレジャーでもお勧めです。 無料の夜鳴きそば美味しかったです。

朝方5時にもかかわらずWi-Fiが遅すぎる 枕が硬すぎる(他のドーミーインも同じだが) 夜鳴きそばの麺が半茹でだった

受付の方も優しかったです。 お風呂も時間によるのか、1人でゆっくり入れて良かったです。

スタッフの対応は極々普通に良かったです。ホテルの設備は(温泉やお部屋など)大満足です。

徒歩範囲内に割と美味しいお店が多く、良いロケーションだと思います。呑んで帰ったら、いつもの夜泣きラーメンで〆。

とても綺麗でまた泊まりたいと思った

最上階のお風呂がとてもよかったです。アメニティが同価格帯のホテルより充実しているのはもちろん、カミソリが2枚刃なのもポイント高いです。湯船から掛川城が見れて眺望も最高です。

スタッフの対応が良い人と悪い人でかなり差がある様に思いました。 パーキングも少し考えてほしい。 宿泊者なのに取り置きできないのはありえないなと思います。5分車を動かしただけで他の人に取られ夜中に移動という形になり提携パーキングも少し遠いし不便でした。 喫煙部屋が低層階しかなく景色なんて最悪の部屋でした。 氷が無料で提供があるのと割り箸、スプーンなど使い捨ての物があるのは便利でよかった。 お風呂場のアメニティもよかったです。

夫婦で利用。洗面台が広くトイレと独立していて、ベッドとテレビがあるメインの部屋と仕切られていたので使いやすかった。屋上の温泉はコンパクトながら露天風呂もあり落ち着く。徒歩で行ける鰻屋さん数軒あり。掛川城や風情ある図書館など散歩がてら見ることができる。

エコノミーダブルでしたが、大きめのシングルと考えた方が良いです。 提携駐車場はホテルの裏なので歩いても直ぐです。 夜泣きラーメンやウェルカムドリンク、風呂上がりのアイス、乳酸菌飲料のサービスもあり、良かったです。 電子レンジは自販機の横（3,6,9F）にあります。

駐車場がもう少し広ければ…。

少し古さはあるものの、夜鳴きそばのサービスや風呂上がりのアイス、ドリンクのサービスなどビジネスホテルにしては高めの値段相応のサービスだと思う。

掛川城から直ぐ、ホテル周辺は静かでした。 建物は全体に清潔感があり、部屋も綺麗でした。(私が泊まった部屋には)シャワーはありますがバスタブなし。その代わり最上階に温泉があり、小さいけれど露天もありました。特にトラブルなく快適に過ごせました。

部屋の入り口の照明が人感センサーの不具合なのか、それが通常なのかわからないが、ついたり消えたりして落ち着かなかった。 洗面所の水道がお湯にすると糸のような水量で、お湯は使えないと思った方がいい。 トイレにサニタリーボックス(バッグ)がない部屋は初めてだった。

Onsen on the top floor was amazing they have hot and cold water plunges.

I stayed at the Dormy Inn for 3 nights during the rugby World Cup. First let me state that there is very little to do in Kakegawa apart from visiting the castle, so if you are heading here as a tourist there are probably better places to stay. Back to the hotel ! I arrived a little early (around 12) and my room was not available , so I had to leave my bags in reception and wait until around 3pm to get my key. There was no issue with the language barrier. The hotel is not far from the station with a 10 minute walk along the main road getting you there. The room itself was average size for Japan, but the outlook from the window was pretty bleak onto a back alley. However, it was clean and comfortable there were no issues with the exception of the pillows which were rock hard. All amenities were available in the room although the sink being in the bedroom rather than the shower area was a little strange. The Wi-fi was perfect, but dont look for any English language station on the TV as there was none. In terms of restaurant, there is one for breakfast with a reasonable selection of both Western and Japanese food. I never saw it open during the day or evening. However, as a bonus it does open up around 9.30 in the evening with free ramen noodles for the hungry. Coffee is always available on demand in the foyer which is another good point. On top of the hotel is a typical Japanese thermal bath...great for the aches after a busy day ! All in all a good hotel for the price.....

Loved the onsen on level 13, with views of Kakegawa Castle all lit up.

Perfectly fine for my needs. obviously was a business type hotel, but had everything I needed.

I spent two nights there. Compared with other hotels in Tokyo this is a nice place to stay. But make sure you have a not so hard pillow. Mine was more like a futon mattress and I had to ask for a new one. The onsen is decent with typical long opening hours.

The hotel is located at a quiet peaceful area, the staff was very friendly and the hot spring was very good.

This was a very modern clean hotel with central location and nice free top floor Sauna bath with a great view of the local castle and surroundings.

The Dormy Inn looks to be very new still. The room is not large at all but very comfortable. The odd number rooms has a view of the Kakegawa Castle. Late night noodles, (9:30 PM) are offered free of charge and it's a nice little snack before shutting down for the evening. They have a hot spring on the 13th floor that is communal bath and separate for men and women. It's pretty central to everything and a short walk to the restaurants in the area and to the castle. It's about a 700 Yen by cab or a bit of a longer walk. There are a lot of English signage and directions as well at this hotel.

Room 201 had a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the evening and the morning. The other rooms were fine.

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening. Yet, we could still enjoy the complimentary late night ramen noodles and hot spring bath offered in the hotel.

Friendly staff, beautiful and clean rooms. Hot springs included for hotel guests, with magnificent views. What more can you ask? 10min walk from kakegawa station. (750m) Breakfast was easily the best in the price group. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Remember to visit the bird park ~2km away. It is fantastic.

Free ramen after 930 at night and it is really good

We arrived to our room on the 12th floor just in time for a beautiful sunset over the city and direct view of Kakegawa Castle. A little walk from the Kakegawa station (exit north side) and a short walk to the castle. Take advantage of the onsen on the top floor. We had never been to one before and this was a great introduction and experience. Essentially, it's like a Western spa with a lovely indoor hot bath, an outdoor hot bath, a (cold) plunge pool and a dry sauna. The men and women are separated. The rooms are efficiently Japanese, but everything is of good quality, including Shiseido shampoo, conditioner, face wash and body wash. Also, late evening noodles were fun with a young, English speaking guy downstairs. Overall, a wonderful stay at Dormy Inn and highly recommend it. A block away is a corridor of tiny restaurants and bars, called Honjin-domi. Really cool to check out. We went to the end to a tiny shop, RiQ, for black sesame ramen and white sesame ramen. Delicious. Also, across the road from the castle is a shop where you can experience wearing samarai armour, walk around in it and get photos - my husband had a blast doing that.

stayed at dozens of Dormy Inns throughout Japan, i rate this one above average. Express is meant to be more economical, so rates are slightly lower than normal Dormy Inns. despite that, quality of facilities and services remain highly competitive. this hotel is relatively new, well maintained, so everything is like brand new. room size is a bit smaller than normal Dormy Inn, especially the bathroom. public bath and late night ramen are standard within this hotel chain. breakfast is good, but selection is not as plentiful comparing to some other Dormy Inns. location is good and convenient, on-site parking available. overall, great value for money, highly recommend.

Great friendly and polite staff. Breakfast was a mix of Japanese new western style and very tasty. The hot springs were relaxing but bear in mind it is no clothing so don’t be bring your swimming clothing.

All everything is great,especially the breakfast! However, that’s more considerable to travelers if check-out time can be a little longer to 11am.

This is a very nice hotel, excellent value for the money. Enjoyed the complementary ramen in the evening. Nice hot spring facilities. Main reception staff could be a little more friendly. Had to park 3 minutes walk off-site because there are only a few parking spots on site. Cost 800 yen, payable at hotel. We had the twin room and were wondering if the bed would fit us two. It did and is no problem at all for a tall person (6’4). The room is small but had all we needed and felt very cozy. Only complaint is that the bed is quite hard and only had one small pillow each. Otherwise, great place to stay!

When I was traveling to Shizuoka, my sister recommended us to stay at Dormy Inn. She told me about their glorious breakfast buffet, which is quite rare (from my experience). They are located near train station and Kakegawa castle, a perfect spot for sightseeing around. They have a nice lobby area, with free coffee. They had a nice relaxing area right by the coffee, where they had some Japanese comic books. You are allowed to take them back to your room if you don't want to sit there and read them. They have free Wi-Fi for guests throughout the hotel. Thank you! The room was very clean, although not very large, but still felt nice and roomy. They had clean slippers and relaxing inner-wear for a couple, which you are allowed to walk around the hotel in, which is also rare. Well, many hotels provide more of a yukata-style inner-wear, so you are not really allowed to leave your room in that attire. These ones were very comfortable. They had two sets of towels in a basked under the TV, and we can ask for more from the front desk staffs. The bathroom had free toiletries, which you don't see much any more, so it was very cool. The size, however, is really small, but then again, this hotel comes with a pretty big onsen (hot spring) on the top floor! And if that is not enough, they also have sauna in there too. The public bath space is separated between men and women, and you need a 4-digit code to get into the women bathroom (code changes every day). I enjoyed the onsen so very much, they had one large onsen, and then separate small onsen with the window slightly opened, making it "roten-buro." Both came with a beautiful view of Kakegawa Castle. The interesting thing about most Japanese hotel is that they have many energy-saving gadgets. For example, you have to put your room card hey in a slot on the wall to turn on the lights and air conditioning. When you leave the room, everything shuts off automatically when you take your card key off the slot. Also, the refrigerator does not turn on until you press on the on switch. Pretty good ways to conserve energy. They had coffee pot and some packets of green tea next to the refrigerator. No microwave in the room. They have a charger with all sorts of different charging port, very useful for travelers! And yes, the breakfast buffet was simply amazing. They have lots of local specialties, and everything they had was high quality. I could eat that breakfast everyday for months!!! And then, they have a late-night-ramen starting at 9:30pm for free! What! Awesome! The staffs were all really nice and friendly, polite and helpful. Even though Dormy Inn is technically a "business hotel" in Japan, but they are so much more than that. And because of all the amenities, service and food, they are one of the most popular hotels in Japan. One of their Dormy Inn hotel has even been ranked as the 5th best hotel in the WORLD. I can certainly understand the reasons for their popularity. They have become one of my favorite hotels in Japan for sure. When checking that front man staff could not find my check in record even I pass my name n show hotel.com evidence n then he moved to staff room with evidence paper. He had apology so much and he had passed me key. I have not asked him why my booking was not available at front desk. I hv stayed one night When I meet him he deeply apology his mistake n his face really show his apology First treatment for me was but he takes care me nicely. So I will also stay again when coming.

Clean, easy access to local restaurants and convenient stores, train station etc. Good location for people who like to run and walk in the morning. Room size is small, but this is typical in JP for this cost level of hotel. No complain.
