I stay here because the bed is perfect

This stay the cutlery was missing, made eating breakfast difficult

Luxury in the centre of town

Everything, particularly the staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Rooms were lovely. Enjoyed the restaurants.

Parking great.

Very well appointed rooms and great location and loved the bed and bath

Beautiful rooms right in the city centre. Well styled - minimal wear & tear. Loved our huge deck and being 30 seconds from amazing bars, restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely no complaints.

Very comfy big bed

TV antenna did not work properly so only netflix available

Lovely stay, quiet, enjoyable, comfortable bed right in CBD … and thank you for the little extras for my hubbys birthday . Will stay again !

Right In town

Nothing loved it

Awesome hotel, great style and comfort, great location with the food hall and Len lye next door and onsite parking.

I only found the in room rubbish bin as I was checking out :-)

Clean, location, staff,communication

Couldn't use the two rv remotes

Great location, with good food options connected to the Hotel. Very quiet area so I had a good sleep which is important for me. Managed to get a car park close, or you can pay for under cover parking.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms are well furnished and clean. Friendly staff and welcoming. Proximity to everything and easy to get some food or have a night cap at the indoor courtyard restaurants/bars next door.

The friendly staff, extra large comfy bed, complimentary toiletries, treats and good coffee! It's the only place to stay in New Plymouth

Very nice place, staff were friendly, room was clean, liked the gym

It advertises they have a wellness centre, spa, sauna but they don't

Enjoyed the accommodation our first visit. Will book again.

Have not stayed in New Plymouth for 50 years and unsurprisingly it has changed. We had a two bedroom suite and it was a great place to stay. Easy to find, very pleasant and helpful reception staff. Rooms were good size, warm, clean and very comfortable. parking was really easy.Breakfast ordered at Monica's just opposite was delivered straight to the room and was most delicious. Highly recommended

Great place to stay. Very spacious and comfortable and in an excellent location.

Staff were helpful and the hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely, warm and spacious, bed comfy and I slept well. Great location and handy to everywhere I needed to be. The balcony was perfect and private without hiding the view. Loved the 'decoration' and art through the hallways etc

Couldn't find a jug/kettle - but I was probably blind 😂

The rooms the location the parking . Stayed here before and like it very much.

This time the bad attitude of on of the senior staff in the bar/restaurant. Got reprimanded for seating ourselves . We were tired after the long trip and needed to sit.

Very comfortable beds, lovely decor and it was so convenient being able to charge meals to the room. And access to Jetts was awesome 👌 highly recommend

First time we've stayed here and loved all the nice touches. Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Curtains did a stellar job of blocking out the light. Loved the Ozone plunger coffee. Staff were friendly and only to happy to assist if needed. Great location near great eateries, will definitely be back.

Great room, clean and quiet. Central location and friendly staff.

Excellent service of staff, accommodating my late arrival. Room was clean and also remarkably quiet given its proximity to excellent cafes, eateries and bars

Comfortable and quiet. Amazing shower and spa bath. Great location, handy to everything.

There just wasn't any sugar, and I would have liked some extra herbal teas

Great rooms friendly staff so close to ozone forces

Check in and check out were fast and efficient. The staff were professional and friendly, including a very helpful housekeeping team ! Our room was spacious with a double couch, coffee table, a desk and a very comfortable chair. It also had an ocean view. The kitchenette had all the basic appliances. We had all the amenities we needed in the bathroom. The free WiFi was fast ! We had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended !!

We only stayed for one night while passing through New Plymouth but the K & Q Hotel Suites was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a business suite room which was very spacious. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was a good size and had excellent water pressure. The seperate toilet was an unexpected bonus. The location was perfect. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We also took advantage of hiring a couple of the hotel e-bikes and going for a 2 hour ride along the Coastal Walk/Cycleway.

Nothing.

Location was awesome. Really nice quiet rooms.

Just need to have bathrobes in a hotel of this quality.

Cool hotel with lots of great vibes. It was recommended to me by someone who had worked there in the past and even told me to say hi to someone. I did and they all remembered her. I loved the decor of the place and all the various and different restaurants the hotel offers. It's a small hotel but they still have fun restaurants around it.

Can't think of a thing.

The west end of New Plymouth is the place to be, The Hotel (K & O), food (Start the morning at Monicas, Lunch at Ms. White or Public Kitchen and dinner at the Snug Lounge) and drink (At Itch Bar or a Coffee at Ozone) options are excellent for a weekend getaway. All within 50m, but if you need to stretch the legs you are close to the coast for a great work around the excellent coastal walkway or up the hill to the gardens. Hopefully you are served by Tarn, an excellent waitress, personality and Dalek, she made the weekend abit more memorable, Thanks Tarn. Jo & Brent

Gorgeous hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great location. Very enjoyable stay

Always our favourite place to stay in New Plymouth

There was a small issue of a blocked drain in bathroom but staff addressed it and had it fixed immediately

Lovely big room with sea view

Great location, Great staff and awesome facilities

A longer stay would be great

Great location, nice room and great staff

No dislikes

Very comfortable room - nice view and handy for walking down town. Close to eating places etc.

Didn't know there were major roadworks outside hotel so a bit harder to get to and loud digging and drilling in the morning - during the day.

Large room with amenities exceeding expectations. Loved the spaciousness and comfort. Great location too. Super comfortable bed and warm!!! Will definitely be staying here again and recommend to all.

Nothing at all.

very central to everything, staff were welcoming and friendly. It was very clean and spacious

a toaster would be good:)

Great location, room was amazing. Staff were so accomodating and helpful

Tight car park but great to be able to have a park at such a central location.

Everything and the fact that you are so close to everything you need to have a good time.

Good customer service 👍

Great location. Nice rooms. Quiet

Above average accommodation and really helpful lovely staff.

I was unable to close the shutters to cover window over courtyard, so the light bothered me...but my error. I really only needed to ask and didn't.

We stayed in a Presidential suite, King Henry 1. It was great. 2 bedroomed, kitchen, pillows to choose from, clean, comfortable & roomy. Biscuits & chocolate bar. Everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Location

No view from window. Only onto back of buildings. Dark room. Dark colours. A bit tired. Expected more and was underwhelmed. Wine glasses were filthy. Curtain was dirty as was woodwork

Very good large size room and amazing service. Being able to charge local restaurants back you your room bill was a fantastic feature, with very good quality establishments listed.

Decor was fun, staff member we spoke with was very informative, helping us with directions and recommendation of where to eat. Location to the event we were going to was very close, although central it was still quite.

Terrible parking, and we had no idea that their front had been closed off due to alterations, perhaps by the council and not the hotel itself. The room was too small for the amount paid.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Warm, clean room.

We didn't realise there were roadworks so navigating to the location was a little trial and error.

Everything, the room was great, the reception was friendly and professional

We stayed in the King Henry Suite and loved our stay. The hotel staff/manager was very concerned we had a good stay. The concern was in a good/helpful way and not burdensome.

Amazing room, location, facilities & staff

It was amazing, I loved everything about this property. The rooms were spacious with comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom tub was to die for( but be careful of the plug as I accidentally let the water out with my butt😂) the location was central to the beach, dining and shopping.

Wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this property

Clean, quiet and great service

Bed was comfortable. Location was great.

Room was a little small.

In a word - Perfect. Excellent location, spacious rooms, beautifully soundproofed and nice and dark at night. Staff are so friendly (especially Daniel) - we felt like guests and not just numbers! All the amenities you require. Came on a recommendation and would not hesitate to go back. Well worth the money. Thanks.

We were treated royally at the King and Queen Hotel! Spacious, clean rooms, stylish furniture and artworks containing all we needed, central location plus fantastic helpful staff! Thank you 🤩
