We had Monika as the receptionist and she was friendly, helpful and a real pleasure to greet us and look after our stay

I was there on Saturday night and there was lots of commotion outside throughout the night. Being on first floor we heard it all. Room was a bit stuffy. Needed AC on through the night

Excellent location, with a shopping centre across the road and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was very spacious, modern, clean and well equipped, with everything needed for cooking. Free shared washing machines and dryers were also available. The lady at reception was wonderful and extremely helpful. She allowed me to check in early and also gave me a late check out when my flight was cancelled. I really appreciated her kindness and help.

There is no comfortable place to do your make up and hair. The bathroom is so uncomfortable to use the mirror, im not short at 5ft7 but I found it very hard to lean over the sink to get ready.

Location is great, right in city Centre. Parking was available at $20/day - which is a bit costly for New Plymouth. Good access to restaurants and also to highways to travel to other destinations.

I wanted to get points on my air travel loyalty program, which the hotel advertised in the room and at reception. However, the lady at reception declined to offer me that saying " you booked with Booking.com and we cannot offer you this benefit. We only offer loyalty air points for people who book directly with Quest". I was disappointed with that response. Booking.com should follow up with the property on this punitive action.

Location great. Unit needs revamp, carpets worn, fan in bathroom didn't work. Couple curtains didn't close properly

When we entered through the carpark door there was a unpleasant smell, almost a fatty smell.

Parking could have been free as courtesy to guests. Maybe provide some sleep teas or non-caffeinetead variance as well.

Great location to leave car and walk everywhere, frederics a great restaurant short distance away. Easy checkin, lovely staff from receptionist to house staff. Room was spacious warm and clean. Mostly quite for location which where it is you would have thought otherwise. The bath was great but a grab bar to get in and out would be helpful. Bed we found comfortable and entry afterhours wasn't a problem. Lovely clean hallways easy signage. Thanks everyone!

Not staff fault but given a parking spot to find someone else already parked in it. Told staff didn't feel right about us then parking in someone else's spot which staff allowed

Extremely clean, comfortable and cosy with plenty of space. Mini kitchenette. Large comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Convenient hotel parking (at additional cost). Great location. Very quiet safe hotel. Very affordable.

Love the location, close to shops and restaurants. Clean and tidy. Rooms are so quiet considering it's across the road from a shopping mall.

My only complaint was the King size bed, I found it too firm for my liking. I have slept on a king single bed there once before and that was so comfy. Otherwise I highly recommend staying at the Quest

The kitchen facilities are quite basic, and providing some essential kitchenware and cutlery would be very helpful for guests who want to prepare simple meals. A microwave would also be a great addition. The room could also use some refurbishment. The interior feels a little dated, and updating the design would make the room feel fresher and more contemporary. I also found the room quite dark at night, so brighter lighting or additional lamps would make the room more comfortable.

However, due to our late check-in and the winter season, most hotel facilities were already closed early, so we were unable to utilise them, which was disappointing. Although the apartment itself was comfortable and well located.

We were given detailed instructions about where to park. A space with our name on it but none had our name. Reception told us she was too busy to put it out.

The location was excellent, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is right next to a large shopping mall, which was very convenient. There was paid parking available nearby, and street parking was free after a certain time on Saturday, so parking wasn't an issue at all.

I liked that the room was private, kitchen facilities in the room, dining table, office desk, king sized bed, good wardrobe space and location. Parking was tricky at times.

Parking was a bit confusing and most days we could get a park outside the hotel when we needed.

Spacious room with facilities that met our needs including mini fridge, hotplates, single drawer dishwasher, etc. WiFi was good and bathroom adequate. Good firm bed. Natural light and aircon also good.

We were told that the park would have our name displayed - did not. Required someone to go to reception and find an answer. Avoidable. Light over the bathroom mirror did not work. Dishes from last guest that had been put through the dishwasher and were still in it when we checked in. Double GPO behind the kitchen bench, where the kettle and toaster were located, did not work. Room servicing was bare bones...

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel location was excellent.

We have stayed before and knew the car parking was difficult at times. Having made a booking we were then asked if we would like to pay for a car parking. This effectively put our bill up another $40. I think this unfair unless declared before booking. I also believe you are violating the consumers guarantee act by not declaring this. Our key expired after 1day when we have made a 2day booking
