Noise from the construction downstairs bothered our afternoon naps. Also the band & or music at the bar was very loud at night time when we’re trying to sleep; & we’re at the 4th floor; I wonder about those in the lower levels. Wi-Fi is on & off; don’t understand why “WiFi vouchers” are valid only for 2 days when we’re staying for 4 days; very inconvenient.

I wanted to like Coron Westown Resort because the property itself is nice, but unfortunately the customer service and overall experience were disappointing enough that I wish I had booked somewhere else. Our experience started badly. The airport shuttle was late, and by the time it arrived, everyone else from our flight had already left. Another passenger even complained that the shuttle should have been waiting for arriving guests instead of making us wait. I specifically booked the Premier Family Suite because I knew those rooms had been renovated, and I have no complaints about the room itself. However, on our first day, we discovered that the second bedroom in our family suite was still locked because the staff forgot to unlock it before our arrival. We had to contact the front desk to have it opened. Check-in was frustrating. The receptionist initially tried to charge me ₱1,200 for shuttle (300x4 people) until I asked if the previous staff member had already processed part of the payment. Only then did she check and realize I only owed ₱900. She also photocopied my passport and completely forgot to return it until I reminded her. Another inconvenience is that the hotel only provides two room keys, even for a Family Suite that accommodates six people. I have never stayed at a family hotel that limits a large group to only two key cards. The hotel also charges guests if they want to take towels outside the property 100 pesos per towel even if you don’t use it, which feels like unnecessary nickel-and-diming. This was the first resort I’ve encountered with this policy. We dined at both restaurants during our stay. At La Meza, the staff never offered us water—we had to ask for it ourselves. The food was generally good, but many menu items were unavailable. We ordered the squid, and although the flavor was good, it was overcooked and very rubbery. Our experience at Shark Bar was even more disappointing. We ordered a pizza, but the crust was undercooked and doughy, and the cheese tasted unusual and didn’t seem like the typical cheese you’d expect on a pizza. It was not enjoyable. They had a guy singing one night at Shark bar and he was good. The Wi-Fi system is outdated. Guests are given paper vouchers for internet access, and they expire after certain hours. At one point we had to return to the front desk five different times because they kept giving us vouchers that didn’t work. The power also went out repeatedly throughout the day—around ten times during one day alone. Each outage lasted about a minute, leaving the room completely dark before the electricity came back. Cell service is another issue. We had virtually no 5G signal at the resort, so be prepared for limited mobile data unless you’re connected to Wi-Fi. There were also quite a few mosquitoes around the property and many flies in the breakfast buffet area, which made dining less enjoyable. I noticed the hotel is renovating some rooms, which is great, but I believe they should focus just as much on training their staff. Most employees seemed inexperienced and lacked basic customer service skills. Before our stay, I emailed the hotel with a few questions and received little to no response. During check-in I asked if I could speak with the hotel manager, but was told he would arrive later, leaving only the front desk staff to handle guest concerns. Another check-in issue occurred when the receptionist tried to charge us for breakfast even though it was already included in my reservation. She only corrected it after reviewing my booking confirmation. The location is another consideration. The resort is not close to Coron Town, so expect to pay about ₱50 per person each way by tricycle if you plan to eat or explore downtown. During our stay, the resort also felt unusually quiet, with very few guests around. Overall, the renovated rooms are nice, but the guest experience simply doesn’t match the property. Between the poor customer service, repeated check-in mistakes, outdated Wi-Fi system, frequent power interruptions, disappointing food, and numerous small inconveniences, our stay fell well below expectations. I hope management invests more in staff training and improving operations because the property has potential. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here, and I encourage future guests to read reviews carefully before booking.

Food on both dining area is good, staff was very helpful. Actually, Staff goes out of their way to satisfy our request. The pool is excellent for night swimming and well as days. Live music at the open bar is not loud but loud enough not to disturb others on their room.

Thank you for the complimentary upgrade to the family suite. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family.

On our second night, there was a noticeable musty/urine-like smell in the room which affected our stay. Also, it would be great to have a buoyancy ring available poolside for emergencies and added safety.

The water in the room was yellow on our last day. However, on all other days the shower was fine. The WIFI was so slow. The food in the Island Kitchen was disappointing to say the least. The food in Lameza was good.

(cosa molto normale a Coron) e ci hanno spostati risolvendo il problema. Per spostarsi abbiamo usato lo scooter a noleggio, molto comodo anche per visitare in autonomia altri luoghi, ma sono sempre disponibili ed economici i tuc tuc. Bellissima la barriera corallina dei “Siete Pecados”. Colazione a buffet con tantissima scelta a soli 680 pesos (10€ circa).

I stayed in Rm 405 from April 13 to 18, 2026. The hotel layout and architecture is very nice. Breakfast buffet was great. La Mesa restaurant was also good. We went on our first excursion the next day and after a whole day of hopping around, we returned to the resort. The next day, I woke up with what I thought was a rash or something caused by jelly fish or something. We went our 2nd island hopping adventure then returned to the resort. The following day, I woke up with a larger rash or more bites (around 70+ bites). My family said that I was probably allergic to something I ate. We went our 3rd excursion and returned to the resort. The following day, I woke up to over 80 bites. Again, we thought it was related to food allergies. Our flight was early in the morning and we returned to Manila. The following day, my wife also had bites on her body. At this point the cause could only be bed bugs. So my rating is low because of this. Resort management needs to address this problem immediately. Thank you.

The Staff at reception -Upon arrival, I had just come in from a boat and was understandably not well presented. The front desk staff appeared judgemental and treated me as though I did not belong, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. As a paying guest at a premium property, I expect to be treated with the same courtesy and respect as any other guest, regardless of appearance

Great swimming pools. The bar had great live music and food. Service at the swimming pool also great..towels and open until 10pm. Large rooms and badrooms. Confortable beds. Services like motorcycle are offered as good rates and very convenient.

The breakfast is not included as option. Due to the location is not easy to access other breakfast choices. As April 2026 is was 600 PHP per person. Our hotel view was not well taken care mountain side. Location 10-15min with tricycle to town. Yet affordable transportation.

Pools and room

The room needs supplied slippers as after a shower the tiles become wet which then picks up dirt under feet throughout the room.

Staff were very friendly and accommodated all requests. Resort facilities are great with a selection of pools, bars and restaurants on sight if you don't feel like travelling into town. Room is spacious with a big, comfortable bed and nice sized TV. Bar fridge is available along with coffee and tea making facilities. Air-conditioning and WiFi are solid. Tours can be arranged directly via the hotel including van pick up and drop off and beach towels provided for the day - very handy.

The TV'S aren't smart and reception/TV quality is a bit spotty. Breakfast isn't and inclusion as part of the booking price.

Het ontbijtbuffet was heel Aziatisch geen beleg of iets Europees Bedden zijn in de Filipijnen over het algemeen vrij hard

Instandhaltung des Hotels. An einigen Stellen könnte mal nachgestrichen werden. Service manchmal etwas tüdelig und man fragt nach Sachen, die dann nicht gebracht werden. WLAN ist für 1,5 Tage ausgefallen und man hat keinen Netzempfang dort. Somit abgeschottet von der Welt gewesen… Handtücher kosten extra (100 Peso pro Tag), was bei so einem Hotel und Preis schon inklusive sein sollte.

Staff was not helpful when asked for water in the lobby. Also, there were no customers at the pool for days but staff out there wouldn’t serve food or drinks, we had to go to them at the bar every time.

The room felt bit outdated for us. Everything else were well maintained , pool area was amazing and modern but the room wasn’t. TV was old, not a smart tv. Also wished the room was carpeted as the tiles were cold on the feet , no free hotel slippers.

Food was very bad. The chef should really reconsider the menu and hotel management should invest more in to the kitchen. Furthermore some parts of the hotel need a renovation.

The hotel design was stunning, the number of restaurants and facilities were exceptional. The staff were amazing, so friendly and remembered who we were to alert us that our day trip transfer had arrived early when were still at breakfast. We were sad we didn’t stay longer

Beautiful resort, approx 10 minutes out of the centre by tricycle. Beautiful pools and grounds and good, large rooms! We got upgraded by the lovely reception desk to a pool access room which was very appreciated. Staff were wonderful, especially at the pool bar!

Erro grosseiro, ter sido trocada a nossa suíte por quarto sem condições e sem qualquer justificação. Depois de reclamado, vieram as desculpas, mas sem demoras novamente, abusaram e exigiram o impensável por limpesa de roupa. Após nova reclamação, lá corrigiram. Em resumo, muita desorganização e tem de se ter muito atenção.

The rooms were so spacious and clean, very friendly staff and accommodating, and food was incredible! I love that they had three different pools in different levels of the property. It was super nice to have different restaurants on the property and not needing to leave to get food.

L’hôtel est propre, spacieux et avec une belle décoration. Nous avons très bien dormi et avons eu la chance d’avoir eu une superbe vue sur le coucher de soleil depuis notre balcon.

Nos 3 jours à Coron étaient essentiellement du repos et devoir mettre un réveil à 9h pour bénéficier du petit-déjeuner c’est dommage. Les équipements à améliorer sont le pommeau de la douche qui n’est pas pratique et la climatisation qui est un peu bruyante.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff kindly upgraded us upon our arrival also and were very friendly throughout our stay. Showers and bathrooms were also very clean and fantastic quality.

Saw a gym was advertised but wouldn’t say it was much of a gym more of a small area to workout with some dumbbells. Restaurant, cafe etc were all very quiet rarely saw anyone in them. Also was a good bit out of town but we know this before our stay and it was easy to get to with tuktuks!

it was a really nice property, we had a great stay! they have 3 big pools. some of them were heated too so it really made a difference. and we got the Family room and i think it is located in the annex building so it was a new building. very cozy! i highly recommends it!

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, and they have multiple pools.

The water pressure was not.consistent, and the the refrigerator in the room was not working. We reported the refrigerator issuet to the front desk, but no one ever came to look at it.

Overall excellent

We were accommodated in the new wing of the hotel, which felt brand new. The only issue was that the water pressure was sometimes weak. Otherwise, it may be the best hotel in Coron.

Coron is a very poor town. Once you leave the hotel, you suddenly find yourself in a completely different reality.

It was an awesome resort with tons of amenities

The only thing I didn’t love was it being a bit further away from downtown Coron
