Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Die Gastfreundlichkeit hier ist überwältigend. Ich habe mich vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer und der gemeinsame Wohnbereich sind liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist äußerst gemütlich hier. Das Frühstück ist wirklich unglaublich. Man kann sich von einer endlos langen Liste von Möglichkeiten bestellen, was man möchte. Ich habe zu wenig angekreuzt, dass die Gastgeberin meinte, dass kann so nicht bleiben und ich solle doch zu den Eiern und dem Toast doch noch die Pancakes und den Joghurt mit frischen Früchten dazunehmen. Es war dann sehr viel, aber alles sehr lecker. Ich würde, wenn ich jemals wieder in der Gegend bin, nirgendswo anders unterkommen wollen als hier.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026A beautiful home in a scenic spot. The owner operator, Nooch, gives you your own space. Comfortable rooms and a living room where you can gather. The icing on the cake is that your breakfast is made to order from a menu that includes Eggs Benedict, veggie scramble, egg, spinach frittata, pancakes, French toast, and more with all the trimmings at the hour you wish.
You do have to climb stairs to get to the house. But it wouldn’t dissuade me from coming again

Nooch provides “homework” to fill out and choose between so many delicious options, you’ll want to stay a week in order to try them all.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Fantastic B&B. We chose the smaller less expensive room which was great but the larger room is fabulous. Everything was good including our lovely host Nuch, comfortable bed and common areas available for our use so it felt like we were staying in our own apartment.
We would have preferred more lighting in our room but it wasn't that big a deal.

It was clean and was within walking distance to the Doc Lewis park where the festival was located. There is a beach and a walking trail located directly in front of the home. I would stay here again.

The home is directly across from a small beach so we sat there for awhile then went to a bigger beach in town to watch the sunset. It was a good location part-way on our trip from Victoria to Ucluelet & Tofino. The room and bathroom were lovely and spacious and we had access to a comfortable sitting room overlooking the water. We had the use of the kitchen in the evening and tea and coffee were available. The hostess greeted us warmly as soon as we pulled in and chatted with us for awhile (which we like) and offered us beverages on our arrival.
The host (husband) was not around as his wife indicated that he was not good at what was necessary for hospitality so she did not "allow" him to meet guests. It was his home as well and we would have liked to thank him.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025The host is a lovely woman who greeted us warmly in the evening and truly made us feel like we were at HOME. What a rare experience, sadly, with travel these days. This was hospitality at its best. One small example: we arrived just after 9pm - the ferry schedule dictating our arrival time - and we kept in touch with the hosts as a result. We were were greeted with genuine warmth and an offer of tea and a very organized approach to choosing our breakfast. And our room was beautiful: amazing mattress, beautifully appointed, impeccably clean. As I said, we felt at home and I would have been happy to stay the month!
Nothing was missing ... at all. What an unusual change..I am getting very frustrated by travel shortfalls more and more. Eagle Rock lacked nothing. Nothing at all. Astonishing but so appreciated. This place sets the bar.

Nice to have breakfast included. we had an easy time parking, more difficult in the summer when people use the end-of-road to access the beach. On a steep hill, so a few flights of stairs to get inside to your room, but very nice once you are there.

The set-up, with the two guest rooms having their own shared kitchen (host lives above) was more private than I expected and very nice. The location ended up being in a nice neighborhood with numerous little walkways to the ocean. It was also walking distance to a center with a restaurant and other shops. Our bed was extremely comfortable and it was so relaxing and quiet. Plus, the host was friendly and thoughtful. We loved it.
I would have loved to have some lotion available.

The BnB is in a very quiet neighborhood. In the morning having breakfast at the beautifully set dining table , overlooking the water added to the atmosphere. The breakfast at was exceptional .

The view of trees & water from common space. Room & bed were well furnished & comfortable with open access to seating area & kitchen.
This place is in a residential neighborhood & entry through garage felt a bit intrusive, but not really a drawback. There are several flights of stairs to manage so beware if that would be a problem. A wonderful hostess will carry your luggage though.
