Rivari Santorini Hotel

Air conditioning was excellent. The room we booked was very spacious and comfortable, and had its own little fridge. Breakfast was nice but needed some more fruit and variety and was the same each day but we didn’t mind. The location was super handy, only 10 min walk from kamari beach and close to the outdoor cinema. The property was quiet, even with being close to the airport but was no bother at all. The pool was wonderful - salty, and big enough for both couples and family to enjoy.

The wifi was patchy, best by the pool but we did get signal in our room at times. Pool hours were a bit disappointing 10am-7pm, would’ve loved to stay in later/go early if we wanted to. Breakfast was also only 8-10am so we missed our last one due to an early ish flight. Great that we had two TVs but due to wifi couldn’t connect to streaming services or cast from our phones. Water from all taps is salty which we found out on arrival but it meant we had to stock up on bottled water most days.

- I think the location is great for a couple with a child, as the hotel is located less than 10min by foot from the beach area. Therefore, it avoids the noise at night due to the restaurants and clubs, but is not too far to need transportation. - In addition, to highlight the nice facilities, including a pool for adults and kids, beautiful main hall with typical Greek decoration and very kind staff, all speaking English fluently. - The room was spacious, with AC, useful during hot temperatures. - Breakfast was also very satisfactory with enough food and drinks. - Last but not least, I would like to refer the fact that the hotel accepted both a late check-in and an early check-out due to flight times, and provided a breakfast-to-go with enough food for our family.

- I believe these are common issues in the area, but definitively something not pleasant, so I think I should refer here: a) The water coming from the pipes, onto the washing basin and the shower corner, is salty. b) It is forbidden to flush the toilet paper. - The airport is close to the hotel, so sometimes during the take-off it becomes a bit loud (intense low frequencies), but bearable. - We found it hard to dehumidify the bathroom, as it lacked a ventilation fan. - I was a bit surprised with the lack of fresh fruit options for the breakfast. There was a jar with fruit salad, but not individual fruits.

The property is lovely and offers excellent value for money. It has a large, well-maintained swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. The room was very clean, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. I definitely recommend staying in Kamari and renting a car to explore the island. The location is great, especially considering the reasonable price. The property is also very close to the beach and within walking distance of the many restaurants and cafés along the seafront promenade. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a great choice for anyone visiting Santorini!

The breakfast is very good and offers a nice variety of options. However, the selection is the same every day, so a little more variation from one day to another would make it even better, especially for longer stays.

Ήταν όλα τέλεια! Το δωμάτιο καθαρό και ευρύχωρο και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό. Επίσης, το ξενοδοχείο είχε ράμπες παντού και έκανε την πρόσβαση πολύ εύκολη για όλους.

Το πρωινό γεύμα περιείχε κυρίως επιλογές σε γλυκά και όχι τόσο σε αλμυρά.

Fantastic stay! A charming, peaceful and very comfortable hotel. The breakfast was excellent, very complete and of outstanding quality. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The staff were exceptional — extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. They even offered us a late check-out, which we really appreciated as our flight was around midday. There is also convenient parking within the hotel itself, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from Kamari’s promenade and beaches. Highly recommended!

Notre séjour en famille (comprenant deux personnes âgées et un enfant) a été un véritable cauchemar. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons subi une hostilité manifeste et des comportements discriminatoires de certains employés de l'hôtel. L'agressivité du personnel a atteint son paroxysme lorsqu'une employée a violemment agressé verbalement un membre de notre famille simplement assis à la réception. L'hôtel a exigé notre départ immédiat sans motif légitime et a fait intervenir la police pour nous expulser en pleine journée, rompant de manière unilatérale notre contrat de réservation. Se retrouver jetés à la rue dans un pays étranger avec des personnes vulnérables est un traitement inhumain, humiliant et traumatisant. Je n ai jamais vu un tel comportement de la part d'employé d hotel de toute ma vie.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning and the beds in my room were quite noisy, which disrupted my stay. Additionally I found the breakfast selection to be just okay.

Po przyjedzie zostaliśmy dobrze poinformowani o wszystkich istotnych rzeczach. Pokój był ładny i czysty. Dobry widok z balkonu. Dobre miejsce na bazę wypadową. Basen na plus ale dość krótko otwarty.

Śniadania w miarę okej ale monotonne, napoje sztuczne i słodkie jak diabli. Niech was nie zdziwi pobudka przez koguta. Pani sprzątająca puka w drzwi i po sekundzie bez reakcji po prostu wchodzi do pokoju więc radzę uważać. W prezencie od recepcji dostałem budzący telefon w środku nocy bo „świeci się żarówka”.

просторный и чистый номер, ежедневная уборка, чистая и ухоженная территория. Понравился бассейн — есть удобные лежаки и навесы от солнца. Большинство сотрудников отеля очень милые, приветливые и отзывчивые. Также удобно, что полотенца для моря и бассейна выдают на ресепшене.

Wi-Fi в номере отсутствует. Интернет есть только в зоне бассейна, поэтому если вам важна связь или работа из номера, стоит учитывать этот момент. Ещё один нюанс, о котором стоит знать заранее: вода из кранов солёная. В бассейне вода менее солёная, но тоже солоноватая. Для умывания и чистки зубов мы предпочитали использовать бутилированную воду. Если ехать на несколько дней, думаю, это не станет большой проблемой. Но при более длительном отдыхе будьте готовы к тому, что купальники, кепки и другие вещи могут покрываться желтоватыми разводами из-за воды. При стирке дома всё прекрасно отстирывается, поэтому вещи не портятся.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and bright. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. The property was well maintained and beautiful. There are so many supermarkets, shops and restaurants close by.

The only things I would say is that there is a closet to hang up your clothes however, a set of drawers so you could unpack your suitcases would go a long way. The room was spacious but because we couldn’t put our suitcases away it felt a bit cramped.

La posizione della struttura era estremamente comoda, a circa 7/8 minuti dalla spiaggia. Lo staff era gentilissimo e la parte che abbiamo amato di più è stata la piscina! Colazione abbondante con tante opzioni e pulizia impeccabile.

Szuper volt a szállás, minden nagyon tiszta,rendezett. A recepción kedvesek,segítőkészek. A reggelivel is minden ok volt,változatos görögös sütikkel.Medence is nagyon szuper,víz pont jó hőfokon, a bárban finom snackek dél körül. 5-10 percen belül bolt,buszmegálló,tengerpart.

Hotel a 10 minuti dal mare, dove ci sono tutti i servizi. Colazione abbondante e ottima. Personale gentilissimo. Piscina pulita e ampia. A piedi si raggiunge la spiaggia (usare scarpine da scogli per fare il bagno). Ombrellone e lettini gratuiti se consumi (consiglio Love Boat stabilimento, con personale gentilissimo e cibo ottimo). Cenate da Grill Spot a Kamari, una garanzia.

Locația foarte bună, personalul foarte profesionist și la dispoziția turiștilor,micul dejun satisfăcător, facilitățile foarte bune, camerele foarte spațioase, baia foarte spațioasă cu toate cele necesare pentru toaleta personală, încălzitor de apă pentru cafea, apă în cameră, curtea foarte bine îngrijită, aer condiționat bun în cameră, lenjeria curată și schimbată la două zile.

Mobilier cam învechit, pozele de pe Booking nu reflectă în totalitate realitatea, patul nu foarte comod iar pernele de dormit au lăsat puțin de dorit, nu erau foarte confortabile. Au lipsit plasele de insecte la geamuri. Prosoapele cam învechite.

Lovely hotel , quiet and peaceful. Only 5 minutes walk to Kamari beach, restaurants/bars and the bus stoop to Fira. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the gentleman working at the pool bar. The cleanliness of the accommodation was good and the breakfast had enough options.

Slightly bad smell in room when initially using air con unit, apart from this no problems with the hotel!

Nos gustó mucho la amplitud de la habitación y del baño, lo que hacía la estancia muy cómoda. Las camas eran muy confortables y permitían descansar bien. Además, las instalaciones estaban muy cuidadas y la piscina era fantástica, perfecta para relajarse después de un día recorriendo la isla.

En general, nuestra estancia fue muy agradable, pero creo que hay algunos pequeños detalles que podrían mejorar aún más la estancia, a modo de sugerencia. Eché en falta una cafetera en la habitación, ya que hoy en día es un servicio bastante habitual y muy práctico. También sería recomendable mejorar el aislamiento de la luz natural que entra por el cristal de la habitación al amanecer, ya que entra mucha claridad desde primera hora y dificulta descansar un poco más. Otro aspecto que podría mejorarse es el aire acondicionado. Funcionaba correctamente, pero hacía bastante ruido, lo que dificultaba mantenerlo encendido durante la noche para dormir cómodamente. Por último, durante el desayuno había un miembro del personal que permanecía de pie en la puerta del comedor observando constantemente a los clientes. Entiendo que su intención es estar disponible para atender cualquier necesidad, pero esa presencia continua puede hacer que algunos huéspedes se sientan un poco incómodos mientras desayunan. Quizá una forma más discreta de supervisar el servicio haría la experiencia más relajada.

The hotel was amazing, really true to pictures. I spend an amazing time there and it was really close to everything in Kamari. The bus also was really convenient, it was easy to access. The staff was amazing, really polite and really smiling every time. The answer any questions. The breakfast was perfect, with lots of options and so good. You could also order food during the day, with also a lot of option and not that expensive. The service was amazing. The pool was really nice and really clean too. The rooms were nice. Thank you again so much for the nice moment, I would definitely come back in Kamari thanks to you

The wifi didn’t work inside of the rooms, I think it’s the only negative point about that hotel. Because everything else was amazing.

El trato del personal. Son rudos y sin decirme siquiera "buen día" me salieron al cruce diciendo que no podía cargar agua para mate en mi termo. Yo no desayuno ni té ni café, tomo mate y mi termo es pequeño de 600ml (equivale a dos tazas de té que es lo que debe tomar en promedio cualquier huesped durante el desayuno). En lugar de preguntarme o tratar de entenderme, sin siquiera saludarme ya me estaban diciendo "no puedes llenar el termo, el agua es cara, pago por el agua"... (de verdad me dijeron eso...) Un horror, yo respondí que ellos pagan por el agua pero yo pagué por el hotel y por el desayuno y agua no se le niega a nadie... No me sentí cómoda ni bien atendida, no volveré ni lo recomiendo.

We couldn’t fault the hotel in any way during our stay. Ideally located on the edge of the town of Kamari about 5-10 minute walk (flat) to the beach and a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. On the eastern side of the island but only a 20 minute taxi / 35 minute bus (2.20 €) from the town of Fira. The ideal location to explore the island but come back to somewhere more relaxed. The whole team were lovely and friendly - and extremely helpful. Advice freely given, when asked, about recommended places to visit, tours, wine tastings, where to get local buses, etc. The team - from the lovely owner, to the hard working housekeepers, barman and breakfast team - were all great, from initial check-in with Esmeralda to check out. In fact the hotel had actually made a phone call the day before we travelled to ask about our expected arrival time and provide some initial information- a really nice touch! The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day, with balcony overlooking the well looked after gardens. We didn’t use the pool a lot - too much to see and do on the island - but nice to use for an hour before going out, or on return from a day exploring. The pool was not overcrowded and clean, with excellent friendly service at the pool bar. A lovely friendly, family run hotel. Thank you - highly recommended

Super lekker ontbijt, met home made assortimenten brood/cake/confituren/choco/pannekoekjes, uitgebreide keuze beleg en toespijs. Super vriendelijke meneer aan zwembad, altijd lachend en we hadden nog honger, snacks waren maar tot 17.00u te bestellen, maar hij bereidde ons een lekkere sandwich en het was al na 18.00u. Verdient een dikke tien!

I had such a lovely stay at Rivari Hotel! The hotel has a peaceful, relaxing vibe — just what I needed for a perfect holiday. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully simple, with a nice balcony to enjoy the breeze. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help — they made me feel at home. The pool area was absolutely amazing — quiet, clean, and surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with something for everyone. I also loved the location — just a short walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants in Kamari. Thank you, Rivari, for a beautiful and warm experience. I would love to come back one day!

Lovely clean rooms, air con, cleaned daily, pool was nice, breakfast was great, spacious rooms, short walk to Kamari shops. They had a library which was great as well.

Only thing which isn’t a big deal, if you wanted to take drinks to the pool bar you were told to put them away. You could bring water but if you’d brought pop or beers, you were told to put them away and buy from the pool bar. Not really a huge issue to be honest. I’d still 100% return

In our point of view everything was awesome. Location, which was also quiet but very near to the centre of Kamari and bus stop to Fira/Oia. Also the room, very polite and nice staff, breakfast was adequate and tasty. I really loved the hotel surroundings.

Położenie hotelu na uboczu w cichej okolicy. Do plaży do 10 min spacerem. Bezpłatny parking pod hotelem. Fajny basen i ogród. Mieliśmy pokój superior, miejsca było wystarczająco, przestronna łazienka i prysznic, bardzo wygodne duże łóżko. Pani sprzątająca super miła i uprzejma, zawsze uśmiechnięta. Sprzątanie na najwyższym poziomie. Obie Panie w recepcji bardzo miłe i pomocne. Codziennie rano budził nas piejący z posesji obok kogut 😀

Najgorsze były śniadania, przepraszam za tą opinię ale dla nas były nie do zniesienia. Może jak ktoś przyjeżdża na 4-5 dni to jest ok, ale my spędziliśmy tam 10 i to był koszmar. Był strasznie mały wybór i codziennie to samo. Z greckich specjałów praktycznie nic. Zimna fasolka tylko wyłożona z puszki, gotowane jajka. Pomidory i ogórki bez smaku. Zero owoców. Kilka rodzajów ciastek i to ratowało moje śniadanie. W ostatnich dniach jadłam swoje śniadania.

Świetny czas w świetnym miejscu. Polecam. Przyjemny pokój z wszystkim co niezbędne. Spokój, słońce. Dobre śniadania. Żal, że 5 dni tak szybko minęły.

Location was only 5mins walk from centre, bus stop at gate for Fira/Oia ect, breakfast ok nice coffee and toast but the (hot food) was always cold, staff were lovely, we had a suite so we had extra room plus a huge balcony with big bean bag loungers, Room cleaned every day, cleaning lady was lovely too

The location and accessibility of this hotel is ideally located to Kamari. First impressions were great. Lovely ambiance and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were so spacious and exceptionally clean. Excellent shower! The pool area is both relaxing and vibing of the ideal holiday experience with a great bar service and pool side music. Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. Fridge in the room is a good idea. The additional mini library was a great touch. Our family would definitely return 😉

Can’t really fault this place. Wi-Fi isn’t great but didn’t concern us as we were there to have quality time as a family. Walls are a little thin so can hear into others rooms. Door and room key are attached which I understand to reduce costs but as we visited off peak coming back to the room in the dark with no outdoor light proved a little difficult. Would recommend separate electrical/door key.

Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. The girl on the reception is an asset to your hotel. Very pleasant and informative,I only wish we could remember her name. The hotel is very laidback,with a nice chilled vibe throughout. Breakfast is also worth mentioning,lots of healthy stuff to choose from. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes,with lots of local eating places along the way. We had a suite,room 361,very nice and spacious overlooking the well kept pool area.

We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the front desk staff were friendly and made all our local shuttle bookings. The breakfast was excellent, great selection of hot and cold items. 5 minutes to the local beach in Kamari and lots of nice restaurants to visit. Downside was that the pool and bar area were not open until 10am and closed by 7pm so no early morning swim if you like that sort of thing, or a nightcap before bedtime. Otherwise a great place to stay for a short trip to Santorini, the airport is close by but the ferry port is on the other side of the island (if you come in that way). We would stay here again.

A személyzet segítőkész mindenki mosolyog és tud angolul. Panoráma kíváló, reggeli napfelkelték mellett a leszálló repülőgépeket is nyomon lehet követni. Reggeli sokféle finomságot tartalmaz, rengeteg sajt gyümölcs zöldség és felvágott, különböző péksütemények. Ha annyira szeles az idő, hogy nem tudsz a tengerben fürdeni ott a medence ahol a személyzet minden igényedet kielégíti, sőt a rendelésen felül mindig kaptunk gyümölcsöt édességet. Transfert intézik, ha kell.
