Great accommodation presented by the most thoughtful of hosts ... including milk and orange juice in the fridge when we arrived !! And the best ever Eggs Benedict for breakfast !!

There was a good selection of options and Cara was so nice and helpful. She can literally cater for anyone or anything.

It was easy to find and were warmly greeted. The accomodation was better than described. It had a beautiful kitchen/lounge area. The fridge had fresh milk/orange juice/ water and gound coffee in it. The lounge had a tv and log burner. The bed was really comfortable and the ahower was great. Breakfast was bought to the room and the choice qas more than enough

Really lovely little barn conversion, super clean, great shower, comfy beds, nice big bath towels. Perfect for two of us but can comfortably fit up to four. The manager was really friendly, helpful and kind, and she made a great breakfast which she delivered to our accommodation. No problem at all needing vegetarian and vegan food, and a short notice on a Sunday! We really appreciated it. We were only there for a night, slept very well, and despite being on a main road we were not disturbed by any noise. Would definitely stay again if ever we’re in the area.

Super, um die Reise von Ost nach West oder umgekehrt in Südengland zu unterbrechen. Lage direkt an der großen Landstraße mit viel Verkehr, aber nachts sehr ruhig. Supernette Gastgeber und ganz tolles Frühstück. Jurassic Coast sehr gut in 20-25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar

If we were being really picky, we were very tired when we arrived so didnt really want to drive out again to have dinner and there is nowhere walkable. But we ventured a delivery which worked fine.

Really easy access, immaculate and super spacious. Very modern but still adding the original features in. The staff were so so friendly and we had everything we needed. Milk, juice, games, bedding, TV!! We weren’t there long but it was located very close to Honiton. Would highly recommend

The apartment was much bigger than I expected, very clean, comfortable and a lot of thought had gone into the design.Everything was provided that you would need during your stay. The breakfast was amazing!! The owners were very attentive and on hand for any questions. I would definitely return.

Tolle Lage für eine Zwischenübernachtung, direkt an der A303, aber trotzdem nicht zu laut im Zimmer. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer, Parkplatz direkt davor. Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und im Zimmer serviert, außerdem gab es im Zimmer Kaffee und Tee, Gläser mit Cornflakes und einen kleinen Kühlschrank mit Milch und Saft. Jederzeit wieder!

It was so hot.. but nobody's fault and they did put a fan in the room.

Beautifully converted stable block. Our room, furthest from the road, had a small, sunny terrace, large lounge with convertible sofa and dining area and modern, well equipped kitchen area. Breakfast was generous, freshly cooked and served in our room at a time convenient to us. Convenient to Honiton and Ottery. Ideal for overnight stay.

The owners were super friendly and really accommodating! Loved all the little touches in the room, and the decor was very cool! I hadn’t realised from the photos that the rooms are all separate with their own front doors so it’s like a mini apartment with a kitchenette etc, the fridge was even stocked with milk etc. Thank you so much for the late check out! There was nothing we didn’t like!

This the third time we have stayed at Monkton Court and it has always been good. Steve and Carla are always very welcoming.

The property was beautifully presented and we loved having the extra space with the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The staff were friendly and had fantastic communication from the time we booked.

Beautiful room, great facilties, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower, small but well equipped kitchen area, with everything you could need as a couple or with your children, eg selection of books, games, activity book, colouring, etc. Lots of interesting items included in very tasteful decor. Spacious room, with sitting and dining areas, it was idea for the two of us with our elderly dog. Cara was very welcoming and helpful. There were great breakfast choices, we made our selection the evening before as requested and she delivered them to our room at the time we selected; outstanding breakfast - one full English and the other a vegetarian version. Bacon was the best I've ever tasted, and both breakfasts were delicious and served hotter than most. Definitely would stay again if available when we're next in the area.

It's next to a very busy road, so some noise and a wait to get out.

We had the three rooms and the apartment, so the whole place was ours for the duration of our stay while attending a family wedding in Exeter. The outdoor seating areas were perfect as we stayed during the May bank holiday heatwave, and we especially loved the little bench by the stream where we enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the fields. The rooms were laid out perfectly, each with its own individual touches—from quirky ornaments and books to games, colouring sets and a thoughtful “just‑in‑case” box. Breakfast was served to us every morning, with a fantastic selection ranging from continental options to a full fry‑up, Eggs however you wanted them, all cooked beautifully. Steve and Cara were wonderful hosts—warm, attentive and always making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.

It is very close to the A30 so there was a bit of noise from the road, but nothing major and to be honest the location was perfect for us as we spent most of our time up and down the A30 to visit family so was perfect.

It was really a motel which is nice and private. You can keep an eye on your car. The breakfast choices were many. We had the English and it was very good. Served in your room.

Easy to park, amazing hosts Cara & Steve made to feel very welcome, family room was amazing, lovely nook to make tea & coffee and superb shower, totally clean, we would totally recommend staying here. Parking was just outside. The accommodation was warm, very clean and had everything we needed.. Little touches like fresh, milk orange juice and water in the fridge on our arrival. The cooked breakfast each morning was fresh , on time and delicious. Cara was very friendly.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. If I needed accommodation in the area again I would definitely go and stay there.

Very comfortable and cosy place. Full kitchen and utensils as well as a big clean fridge. Nice selection of breakfast options to choose from. I ended up choosing the continental breakfast and it was delicious and filling.

Ground floor rooms which were perfect for my elderly parents. Great breakfast options. A great place for a stopover before a wedding.

Only downside, if there was one, was unable to get WiFi but to be fair we never asked about it as phone signal was good.

We have stayed here before and it was god to come back. Very friendly, comfortable and excellent location. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options. We would very much like to come back.

Cara and Steve are fantastic hosts. The room was spacious and clean. Homemade breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to this B&B when in the area again.

Spacious and cosy family room, practically laid out, and we were able to access it before the usual check in time, which was really helpful. The breakfast menu was very comprehensive, and breakfast was brought to the room at the requested time in the morning. Food was lovely.

A few things needed replenishing (hand soap in the bathroom, instant coffee pot was almost empty, although there was fresh coffee in the fridge for the cafetiere), but could have been a result of us arriving early, it wasn't a problem.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this wonderful little gem. The owners were friendly and have literally thought of everything. It was warm, comfortable and the facilities were truly exceptional. The breakfast delivered to the room was a lovely treat and was really tasy - really set us up for the day! Perfectly located to break the journey to Devon/Cornwall and to explore the local area - we loved it.

Nothing negative to say, the owners have thought of everything. If I were to be picky, I would ask for conditioner to be supplied along with the other toiletries, but it really is a minor point.
