Reviewed Jun 13, 2026We waren al op de kamer in de avond, belde de receptie dat er een Yanbaru Kuina vogel buiten te zien was. Wij als een haas in pyjama's naar de balie, waar ze ons met paraplu en al mee nemen naar de bom waar de vogel zat, voorzichtig bijgeschenen. Geweldige ervaring, niet veel mensen zien de vogel. Ook de kunstwerken en het boekje erbij zijn zeer goed, grote doeken in eetzaal. Eten is verzorgd en goed.

The hallways were very loud and unfortunately we had several groups that were loud coming and going late at night and around 5am in the morning which was disruptive.

朝食にはコーヒーがあるが、デカフェや紅茶は持参したほうがいい。 ご飯の量をあらかじめ質問してほしい。残すのがもったいないので。

場所が場所なだけにあまり要望は出せませんが、ただ、朝食夕食がもう少しバリエーション豊かだと食事の楽しみも持てるな、と思いました。でも、今回の目的ヤンバルクイナに宿泊１日目で出会えたので良かったです。

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026事前に野鳥観察が目的の旨を伝えていたこともあり、丁寧に説明、案内をして頂きました。 登山のルートは早朝に大雨の中1時間待ったもののノグチゲラに会えませんでしたが、雨の上がったチェックアウト後に再訪した所、無事にノグチゲラに会えじっくりと観察と撮影が出来ました。ネットなどの記事だけではなく、やはり地元の生のアドバイスは強いです。 ヤンバルクイナ、アカヒゲ、ノグチゲラ、リュウキュウヤマガメ（同じ登山道で会いました）、リュウキュウイノシシ等々珍しい生き物に会えて娘が喜んでいました。 どうもありがとうございました。

Wunderschöne Natur, Stille und nicht zuletzt die Suche nach Okinawarallen machen das Erlebnis aus. Unbedingt das sehr leckere Dinner mitbuchen, das nächste Restaurant und Supermarkt ist mindestens 30 Autominuten entfernt. Super freundliches Personal und hervorragende günstige e-bikes zum Leihen.

Standard of the room and the very poor condition of the bathroom. No service whatsoever so ever. Damp and mould in the room and I had to ask for the light fitting and dirty bin to be removed. Evening meal on Day 2 was light! We were starving and there is nothing in the vicinity to supplement. Taki at front desk is more interested in his pet pig than guests. He watched my 70 year old husband struggle with his case! Breakfast was terrible for Western taste.

Het feit dat het park niet toegankelijk was (under construction) en ook de bospaden waren afgesloten (te gevaarlijk). Dat had ik liever van te voren geweten. Excursies moet je eigenlijk ook voor aankomst boeken, zijn gauw volgeboekt. Huurauto aan te raden.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026A hidden gem and great place to stay for nature lovers. Tasty and rich breakfast and dinner. Can hear and see the endemic Okinawa rails and sword tail newts around the place. Also woodpeckers, butterflies and moths….The staffs are very welcoming and flexible in adjusting meal time. The coffee machine, ice cubes vendor and laundry facilities are clean and very thoughtfully prepared.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026Staff was very kind, accommodating and overall nice. Room was clean and well made, and the location is awesome. You need a car to fully enjoy it, but you can easily get to the north-most parts of the island. It was excellent. Unfortunately the sky would not cooperate, so we could not see the dark starry sky we wanted to see. Next time.
I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, however the menu variety is a bit small, after a couple days you have already tried all of their different options. It is quite a bit far out there from everything else, so you need a car to get around.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026スタッフのかたが夜、「ヤンバルクイナ」が見える場所へ案内してくれた。野生のヤンバルクイナを見ることができて感激しました。事前にホテルに問い合わせ、トレッキングを案内してくれる「やんばるエコツーリズム研究所」を紹介してもらった。トレッキングはとても楽しかった。 ホテルには無料の洗濯機と乾燥機があって便利だった。
食事は悪くなかったし、料金もリーズナブルだったが、料金が多少追加になってもメニューの選択肢があったら、さらに良かったと思う。

Las instalaciones muy anticuadas, precio alto, las sabanas de un material nada cómodo las almohada viejas, olor a viejo dormimos con las ventanas abierta, solo hay dos mesas abajo fuera para fumadores, no hay unas mesas para desayunar o comer algo para los huéspedes, el desayuno no merece la pena para un occidental o alguien que no es japonés, hay pescado sopa rara un trozo de cerdo y otras cosas que no apetece por la mañana, lo único había un trocito de pastel con pasas, y conozco japon bastante bien he comido de todo!!

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025ベトナム風、クラシカルな建物。館内は大理石の階段、重厚な扉が素敵。お部屋も掃除が行き届いてます。シンプル上品な、とても気持ちが良いホテルでした。正面の道路を走る車の音が途絶えた夜は、真っ暗です。ケケケケーと鳴くのですよと、スタッフの方に教えてもらった声もしっかり聞こえてきました。どなたも優しく感じが良かったです。 受付隣で子黒ブタが飼われているのも、不思議と馴染んでいました。なぜそこに？は質問しそこねましたが。
我がドライバー。西海岸の58号、返野喜から県道２号はカーブ多くて疲れるので、辺戸岬まで北上して観光し、70号を南下するほうが楽かな？といっております。

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025Amazing location in the jungle where you can listen and see the Okinawa Rail birds, if you are lucky like we were. The staff took us out after dinner and found not one but two Okinawa rails, perching in their favorite tree spots. We also saw giant bats right behind the hotel. Amazing!! Dinner was also excellent. The staff were all absolutely wonderful!

The food. Can't understand the rave reviews. The hamburger was OK, the second day's steak was probably better but no way was it wagyu. Otherwise the meal was identical and not very interesting, not even a bit of fruit as a dessert. Breakfast was also mediocre and identical both mornings. Bathroom in desperate need of an upgrade.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2025The staff here were wonderful and the location on the edge of the rainforest is amazing. Our room was big with simple decor and facilities but everything we needed. We loved the pet pig in the lobby and our baby enjoyed playing with him. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Really useful having access to free laundry facilities.
We stayed 2 nights and essentially had the same meal both nights - they swap the meat to a different beef cut but that’s it. I would have liked a little more variety. There are no other restaurants for miles so you’re a captive audience. In future I’d stay only 1 night or go for a big lunch then have snacks at the hotel - there’s a microwave in the lobby and a good size fridge in the room.
