Good, comfortable pleasant hotel but what made if was the staff, friendly, courteous and couldn’t do enough for you

1° la chambre PMR est sans doute celle la plus eloingnée de la reception!!!! le monte charge ne fonctionnait pas!! donc impossible d'utiliser un fauteuil roulant!! le bar ne fonctionnait pas à 19h!! Le restaurant exterieur tres incomfortable, arrivée a 20h(tel que programmé) "à minutes pour obtenir une boisson , et pouvoir passer commande! service d'une piece du boucherà 22h inmangeable!! nous avons abandonné!!!! trés trés loin des 4 etoiles nous eliminons definitivement l'étape de LAVAL

La chambre était austère et petite, on ne pouvait pas ouvrir la fenêtre car le rideau se coincait dedans. L'eau de la douche trop chaude. Cette chambre "supérieure" ne correspondait pas du tout aux photos sur le site

Il palazzo era bello ma le stanze assegnatoci erano scomode,ambiente bagno scomodo ,aria condizionato rumorosa e mal funzionante ,finestra e tende quasi inesistenti , problemi per caricare computer e cellulare assenza di canali italiani in tv. Personale e direttore (Boss)non collaborativi

The breakfast was a bit sad, below 4* quality. No fresh coffee, only machines, and the restarurant staff were not very helpful or present. The suite itself was beautiful but was very very warm on a sunny day with no air conditionning, a bit odd for 4**** . No one offered to help us with our bags coming in, despite the fact there were steps to negotiate with large suitcases. We paid €400 for the night through Booking.com but at the reception our room was advertised at €365.

Une très mauvaise expérience dans cet hotel qui avait pourtant l'air de bonne qualité. Il nous a été impossible de dormir avant 3h du matin à cause de clients qui n'ont pas arrété de faire du bruit (éclats de rire, voix fortes, bruit de verres) dans le jardin sur lequel donnent les chambres, sans que le personnel de nuit de l'hotel ne sache gérer la situation malgré nos multilples appels. C'est clairement inacceptable à ce niveau de standing et de prix. Petit dejeuner très quelconque et personnel d'accueil assez approximatif.

Chambre ( suite ) plutot mal entretenue et complètement à rénover ( moquette entrée usée jusqu’à la corde , c’est le mot ! - porte d’entrée impossible a ouvrir complètement ….. à titre d’exemple ) . aucun service de restauration ( même snack ) le soir ( certes un dimanche ) . Pas acceptable pour un 4 étoiles . Quant au petit déjeuner , aucun service , niveau self sur autoroute ….

L'établissement n'est pas à la hauteur de ses étoiles.

L’extérieur de ce bâtiment classé MH est beau; malheureusement les rénovations intérieures n’ont pas été qualitatives.

Les travaux de rénovation des intérieurs, de très mauvais goûts, sont bourrés de malfaçons : la Clim présente un défaut et fait du bruit toute les 2mn ce qui est gênant pour dormir, pas d’eau froide au lavabo de la SdB, mauvaise insonorisation etc etc. Autour de la piscine : qlq transats très vite pleins. Pas intimiste du tout. Serveurs très bruyants

L'hôtel est très beau et bien situé, le cadre est incroyable en plein centre de Laval. Le personnel est aimable et très attentionné. Un joli séjour. Merci

No probamos la comida pero no resultaba muy atractiva. Cogimos una oferta de última hora en booking con un importante descuento. A precio normal no le pondría un 9.

Nous avons trouvé que les plats du restaurant pourraient être meilleurs, plus simples aussi.

Carenza di personale alla reception ed in sala colazione con conseguenti lunghe attese per check-in, check-out e per avere assistenza in sala colazione, ad esempio per segnalare l’esaurimento dell’acqua o del latte nella relativa macchinetta. In generale, la qualità della colazione è di molto migliorabile, anche considerato il target dell’hotel.

Beautiful and large room. The breakfast was wonderful. There is a beautiful green garden along the swimming pool. It is a really great hotel. The staff was extra nice and welcoming. The bed and A/C made the room very pleasant.

The location is a bit far from the center. The cleaning lady was afraid of my dog so she skipped the room cleaning one day.

Lovely building, very welcoming and helpful staff, secure garage parking or if there is space in the courtyard. Food was good, and the room spacious.

Don't eat in the brasserie! It feels like a village hall that's been set up for w wedding - no atmosphere. There is a more formal restaurant which looked better but the menu was too formal for our requirements.

Il faudrait rajouter un bouton de sortie piéton/vélo pour le parking couvert. Facile d’accès mais moins facile pour en sortir si on n’est pas une voiture.

Aufmerksames Service Personal, tolle Ausstattung und eine wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit Außenpool. Speisen liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker.

Hotel appears to have 2 names 4 Etoiles which does not appear on trip advisor but we booked under as well as the name above . Hallways & stairs all out dated & in need of a good clean & revamp . Room stunningly large & thankfully good air conditioning but decor completely naff . Checking in - 2 members of staff, a little confusing as initially told room was ready by a young man but then told not ready by another member of staff. Early evening, walked passed reception , 2 girls who looked like teenagers ,who did not acknowledge us & saw us walk to the bar - made no comment. Bar - pre dinner drinks no one available to serve . Went to reception & asked about service at the bar - 1 girl looked at us blankly, we asked can we order drinks - “ what do you want “ we asked for drinks menu . Girl followed us to bar , we gave orders she then said she had no idea about the bar . Walked off saying she’d get help. Never came back , found her back at reception typing on the computer- did not look up when I arrived . Told me she was busy . Eventually after another guest got fed up someone arrived & served us . Went to dinner - only 2 staff & food walked from 1 end of hotel to the other as kitchen no where near dining room. Food not good but staff worked hard & were friendly. Went for a walk after dinner & entered by “other “ hotel entrance . Same 2 kids manning desk - 1 looks at us and says “are you here for dinner” even thought we’d engaged with them before absolutely no recognition- we said we were staying at hotel & got another blank look & nothing else said to us - no have a nice evening, can we get you anything , did your drinks get sorted ok , sorry for confusion- nothing ! Over all not a great experience due to young people having no training in basic manners or hospitality . The property is beautiful, the room we had lovely over looking the gardens but design a little over the top . Fluffy feather light ball in centre of ceiling - very odd .

Great hotel in parts and I would stay here again. On the plus side it is in a great location with secure parking available. The staff are incredibly friendly, rooms were comfortable and it is well priced. The downside was do not eat in the brasserie. It has no atmosphere and feels like you’re sitting in a village hall. Having said that the food was good and was fairly priced.

Food in gastronomic restaurant was amazing Hotel was amazing value for money - only slightly more than a basic hotel for 4 🌟 facilities. Including a great swimming pool

Ein wunderschönes, ruhiges Hotel in bester Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Schöne Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und super bequemen Betten. Außenpool im Garten. Gutes Frühstück und Parkplatz im Innenhof. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. 10 von 10 Punkten!

Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of the town’s restaurants.

The room was clean but the stairwell up to them could have done with a little tidy up. It was grubby and looked at odds with the surrounding areas.

Le lieu magnifique avec son jardin, sa piscine et de belles chambres. Et aussi la climatisation très appréciable en ce moment La proximité du centre-ville et du parc "La Pérrine" que nous avons du coup fait à pieds.

Notre dîner à la brasserie de l'hôtel. Nous avons pris une salade césar : produits frais mais bof et le dessert était râté et sans saveur... Pas à la hauteur du lieu. Idem pour le pt déjeuner que nous avons pris les 2 jours : nous nous attendions à un buffet plus large en choix et ce matin on a trouvé un pain aux céréales sec... Au niveau de la chambre : une étagère près du lavabo serait un plus pour poser ses affaires de toilette.

A beautiful well maintained old building. However the rooms were spacious and comfortable with individual A/C. All staff we came into contact with were friendly and professional, with special mention to the hotel manager who introduced himself when around the property morning and evening. The pool and surrounding area were beautiful, with the hotel providing guests with bathrobes as well. Dinner and breakfast were excellent quality and value for money

Hard to get any service late afternoon/early evening. We were going to eat supper but left, as nobody around for ages (believe the staff were eating & reception ladies supposed to look after everything). In the afternoon we had a drink by the bar and they let you take glasses out there my husband asked if we were supposed to have plastic ones but they said no. In many places this wouldn’t be allowed. Check reviews and checked with English couple and confirmed that breakfast still not worth €16 each, so we left it. From our experience and looking at all the reviews on Booking.com, just a few little tweaks would make this superb hotel.

Arrivati con 3 moto abbiamo trovato subito parcheggio, il personale molto disponibile ci ha proposto un upgrade delle 2 camere, visto che quelle da noi riservate non disponevano, a detta loro, di aria condizionata. Le 2 camere non erano nel complesso principale, ma in uno adiacente e fin qui tutto bene Premetto che erano 18.30 per cui in orario di check in, con nostra sorpresa c'era solo una camera pronta, l'altra aveva ancora i letti sfatti e non era stata riassettata, ci dicono che nel giro di 45 minuti l'avrebbero preparata e di accomodarci al bar nell'attesa. Visto il caldo e l'abbigliamento da moto, mettersi a bordo piscina non era il caso. Optiamo per andare a farci una doccia e cambiarci nella camera pronta (4 persone). Ci accomodiamo al bar in attesa della seconda camera, passate quasi 1 ora e 45, abbiamo lasciato loro il tempo in quanto c'era un matrimonio, non vedendo apparire nessuno con ragguagli della camera decidiamo di recarci alla reception, dove veniamo accusati di non aver pazienza, dopo tutto questo tempo la pazienza si esaurisce, la signorina alla reception si rifiuta di parlare con noi, non siamo stati maleducati e non abbiamo alzato i toni, chiedamo allora di parlare con direttore che ci viene passato al telefono. All'alba delle 20.15 ca. Riusciamo finalmente ad avere anche la seconda camera. L'aperitivo a bordo piscina ci sarebbe stato offerto per i disguidi tranne l'acqua....

Camere non curate, non pulitissime, ragnatele nelle lampade da comodino e non solo. Frigo bar con disinta delle bibite e acqua gratuita, peccato fosse vuoto. Quando ci hanno accompagnato in camera ci vieno detto che in caso di bisogno avremmo potuto contattare telefonicamente la reception, peccato che il telefono non c'era.

The dining area for breakfast was very warm. Whilst the weather was exceptionally hot some contingencies like fans would have made the room more comfortable.

L'environnement ombragé, la chambre spacieuse et climatisée, la literie très confortable.

Impossible de prendre une douche car l'eau était brûlante !!! Vraiment très désagréable de ne même pas pouvoir se rafraîchir dans un 4* !... Omelette froide au petit déjeuner. Grande déception par rapport au minimum que j'attendais dans une catégorie en principe très haut de gamme...

The service from the front desk was impeccable - very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed the brasserie meal in the evening.

It was a shame the EV charging point wasn't easily accessible but that was down to the supplying company, not the hotel.

The hotel is really unique - it’s a beautiful building with almost antique interiors yet modern rooms and has a lovely welcoming ambiance. The service is exceptional and considering the standard of service and rooms and very convenient location, I believe offers excellent value for money for business and tourist travellers alike!

It’s right in town with parking and the restaurant is excellent. Room are comfortable but bathrooms are a little tired

We are a group of 4 traveling on motorcycle the hotel is very good and the staff welcomed us.. great for motorcycle parking the gate closed at night very safe.
