Housekeeping was erratic. On our four night stay we had to ask at the desk for clean towels and toilet paper two of those days.

The property location is excellent, the common amenities like cafeteria, dining area, patio are inviting, cozy and have great view.

The kitchen staff were not monitoring inventory and were not cleaning the counters and tables properly. The room we stayed in had horrible view and should be offered at a discount. One of the beds was squeaking at each turn of whoever was sleeping on it. The swimming pool is small.

The bathrooms were old, the showers had a stingy flow of water, the towels were small. We paid for 3 individuals to occupy the room, yet they only allowed us 2 chairs on the balcony. The breakfast was subpar

We are Hilton Gold members and stay almost always in hiltons - while the location is a 5+ star directly across from the beach and public tennis courts with a practice wall if you are solo and pet friendly! However it’s always the details details that can annoy you when on vacation - gym is nice but the air temp is high 80s similar to pool area and pool is too warm! And cloudy…every time we wanted dark roast the canister was empty needing me to knock on the service door - wet floor signs left out for hours -bed is not a Hilton quality bed - water pressure sad- keurig in room but guess what no dark roast and front desk said sorry don’t have _ only flavored and blonde- one tissue left in tissue box no conditioner left in the shower setup - we started to laugh after a bit but we expected better from Hilton -it’s because we paid a premium price for a premium suite that I’m nitpicking -don’t spend the higher price as the attention to detail just isn’t there - research shows this is a franchise not run by Hilton directly just licensed so that explains it! If you have young kids and pets though will be hard to find a place so easy on the parents to navigate but we an old couple….with a dog and clearly need our dark roast!

Jacuzzi actually works and the whirlpool! Many times it is out of service at various hotels. Everything was nice at this location.

This hotel is just gorgeous with an expansive fireplace, bar and dining area for the AM breakfast. Hotel is decorated in the Adirondack theme. Two couple2 reserved 2 rooms looking over Mirror Lake, WOW what a view, especially at nighttime. Good downtown location, walked to Olympic Museum and Herb Brooks Arena. Eddy at the front desk was incredibly pleasant, excellent customer service. We were headed to Nagra Falls and had to leave the next day, We all wished we could have stayed here a few more nights.

Chlorine pool instead of salt - The chlorine smell was very strong - The pool area and hot tub are very nice though :)

My room was dirty again, She cleaned toilet but didn't flush and the sink was dirty. People at the front desk and housekeeping don't speak English and it's very uncomfortable. Housekeeping knocked on my door to ask if "I wanted to extend my stay for $269." I had told Ozzy the front desk manager I paid for Friday the day I arrived. I called front desk and was told it was their mistake and they were sorry. I had bugs in my room again. I gave the dead ones to the front desk and left early. I definitely wasn't comfortable staying another night. The positive of the stay is whirlpool/pool and breakfast. I sent Ozzy a hand written letter May 7 2026 and got no reply. I asked for a refund $269 and to pay for the phone/minutes I had to buy due to their metal lamp burning my charger.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was perfectly cooled on arrival and the view on the lake is just so peaceful. Although the hotel appeared busy, it was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay!

Hotel na čudoviti lokaciji ob jezeru s čudovitim odprtim preddverjem za počitek in druženje. Restavracije in ostale za ogled pomembne točke (Olimpijski muzej itd.) je mogoče obiskati peš. Osebje je prijazno, sobe so čiste in prostorne ter brez izrazitih sledov obrabe, zajtrk okusen (še posebej vaflji). Primerno tako za prenočitev kot tudi za večdnevno bivanje v vseh letnih časih.

Front desk gentleman was excellent; professional, thoughtful, considerate (Eddy). Pool and hot tub area were Very nice mornings, clean, fresh towels (evenings hot tub was full of underage children)

Breakfast was underwhelming (not what we're used to at Hampton Inn). We were given the room adjacent to the elevator, which shook the walls. Young children running in halls and on the elevator into the night.

The location and views were spectacular. I really enjoyed the updated feel of the property. The property also matched the scenery perfectly.

The breakfast options were not the best. The space for the breakfast buffet was small, and it was not really up to my expectations. We chose to get breakfast down the street for a better experience.

Fantastic experience at this hotel! This is by far the best Hampton Inn we have visited. The room was very clean and spacious. Ozzy went out out of his way to ensure our stay exceeded our expectations. Breakfast had a variety of good options and enjoyed the coffee and water station.

Heater kicked on & off with loud "clunk" everytime it kicked on. Couldn't sleep.

Clean, everyone is kind and love that they always have coffee and water available.

Les chambres étaient très propres, le personnel très accueillants et toujours souriants, le buffet du petit déjeuner était WOW: le plus abondant et diversifié qu’on ai jamais eu dans un Hotel. La Gand salle à manger qui donne face au lac miroir est très accueillante et chaleureuse pour se rassembler, prendre un thé et faire des jeux de société en famille, il y’a eu plein d’activités d’organiser pour les enfants à chaque jour: soirée cinéma, peinture d’œufs de Pâques … la piscine et le jacuzzi étaient un must. On a vraiment prit du bon temps dans cet hôtel même par mauvais temps

La climatisation est très bruyante, on a du l’éteindre quand on est dans la chambre et l’eau de la piscine n’avait pas l’air de bonne qualité

The room was perfect and very clean! The hot tub was huge and sooo relaxing! 😌 The continental breakfast was excellent with a beautiful view of mirror Lake in the dining room!

The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of Mirror Lake. The breakfast was very good, with standard fare, but also nice touches like almond milk. We went for a snow experience and hanging out in the lodge room was wonderful with big windows and plenty of views. In the afternoon, it was so lovely to sit by the fire with a hot tea. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of snowshoeing. The location was perfect for walking along the Main Street and to the olympic center.

Everything was lovely. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Daniela! I forgot some fruit in the fridge after checking out and I texted Daniela. They responded quickly and they retieved my items and held them until we came back from town - awesome customer service!!

The breakfast was not the best,the eggs and sausage were cold. The oatmeal was not available.

The heating/cooling system in the room was loud and annoying at night.

Fantastic location with great views of the lake. The lobby and bar area was very nice with friendly staff.

Our room was never cleaned, the coffee maker was broken, and the shampoo was not stocked before our stay. We did come back to the room around 5pm for a nap so maybe they were still getting to our room but that seems late. None of these are a huge deal but likely will keep us from coming back.

We arrived late and got room next to an elevator. We did not realize it when checked in but we figured that out next morning. It was very noisy we could not sleep in morning time from start of breakfast time.

My one son and I got food poisoning on our last night. We narrowed it down to the cucumber water that this hotel had out to drink. The reason was that my oldest son did not get sick and was the only thing that he didn’t drink. Everything else we shared. It was a terrible experience for 2 days…

Great and friendly staff! The property is well maintained and very clean. Very short walk to the shops on Lake Placid Main Street and right next door to Lake Placid Brewery and Pub!

We intentionally booked a room with a lake view and a balcony/patio to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and we were not disappointed. The room had updated furnishings, was clean and the bed comfortable. The lobby area is designed like a great lodge with rustic beams and posts and high ceilings. Coffee and tea are always available in the lobby and if you are lucky, cookies in the afternoon. There is a full bar in the common area as well, which is not normal for a Hampton Inn, but very welcomed. The front of the hotel was under a bit of construction while we were there so unfortunately the fire pit was not operational and parking became a bit of a headache at times as the parking lot had some construction going on as well. Neither of these events took away from our experience. The hotel is right next to a great local brewpub and directly across the street from the beach at Mirror Lake. One of the positives about the location is not having to drive through main street, yet close enough to walk to all that the village offers. We already have our reservations booked for next year!
