Reviewed Sep 17, 2026We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa del Maestro. It is a beautiful, character-filled hotel with a wonderfully authentic Andalusian atmosphere. What made it particularly special was learning that the building was once the home of Niño Ricardo (Manuel Serrapí Sánchez) the renowned Sevillian flamenco guitarist and composer. Seeing his photographs, personal mementos and musical history displayed throughout the hotel gave our stay a wonderful connection to Seville’s cultural heritage. Our room was comfortable and charming, the location was excellent, and the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious, especially the cinnamon-stewed apples. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026The Hotel was well situated, very friendly staff almost like a family and the breakfast was the best value for money I’ve had in Spain. I like the trusty bar with water, sodas, alcohol, beer and wine open 24 hrs and you could pay when convenient to you.

Una segunda planta sin ascensor, el suelo quemaba de la calor que hacía allí, todo el rato con el aire puesto. A mediodía nos echamos una siesta y nos desperto una música super fuerte, pensé que sería un bar pero al preguntar teniendo que por la noche pasará igual y fuera un bar, me dijeron que era un vecino con una fiesta particular. Por último para entrar en el parking propuesto estuvimos casi una hora, no había plazas.

The hotel is nice but somewhat overpriced. We paid almost €200 for a double room with breakfast and I find that a little much for what it is. In my opinion it's more like a €130 hotel, so if you can score this rate then enjoy!

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026The breakfast was excellent, the location was great in a quiet location but not far from any tourist attraction or bars and restaurants. As I was leaving early, they even prepared breakfast for me earlier than their usual time, that was a nice touch. Lola at the reception was great, she gave me nice recommendations and also was super responsive when I got in touch with her.
The only negative thing was my room was at the first floor and right across the entry to the building so it was noisy with hearing people checking in/out, going to breakfast etc.

E'' in una posizione ottima per visitare Siviglia, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla Cattedrale. Gentilissimo tutto lo staff, sia le ragazze alla reception che la signora che prepara un'ottima colazione. La camera era spaziosa e accogliente. Se non si cerca un moderno 4 stelle ma un ottimo hotel caratteristico in centro, questo Hotel e' assolutamente consigliato. Grazie per questo bel week end!

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Las camas son cómodas y tienes varias almohadas diferentes para poder elegir la que mas cómoda te resulte. La habitación cuenta con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia cómoda. El personal es muy amable y atento. Desayuno buffet con lo básico de pan, fruta, yogur, cereales y bollería. Te sirven zumo de naranja natural, queso y jamón y si quieres algo mas, como huevos revueltos, les preguntas y te lo preparan. Muy bien situado, cerca de las setas, a medio camino entre Palacio de las Dueñas y la Catedral. No tiene aparcamiento propio pero sí una plaza para descargar el equipaje y hacer el check-in y convenio con un parking público muy cercano para que salga mas barato. El hotel, para tener 1*, es mucho mejor en temas de calidad que otros que tienen 2* o 3* simplemente por ser mas grandes o cumplir ciertos requisitos puramente arquitectónicos. No me importaría alojarme aquí otra vez si vuelvo a Sevilla.
Aunque sí hay algunas cosas que se podrían comentar como "negativas", prefiero no poner nada, ya que estamos hablando de un hotel de 1*. Es cierto que el precio puede resultar algo elevado, pero ahí también influye la oferta general. El hotel cumple y supera lo que se espera de su categoría. Como negativo real diré que no tiene ascensor. Lo indican claramente. Es normal en ese tipo de edificios antiguos rehabilitados. No lo pongo como algo malo, solo lo escribo por si alguien no se ha enterado bien. De todas formas, dos de las habitaciones están en la planta baja, por lo que si el ascensor es una necesidad, no dudéis en preguntar antes de descartar el hotel, por si están libres las de abajo.

Nos tocó el 3er piso sin ascensor y como solo llevaba equipaje ligero no me importó, pero ojo si llevas maletas grandes o niños pequeños. El personal muy amable nos ayudó a subir las maletas.

La colazione deliziosa, tutto è preparato al momento e fresco e la qualità eccellente. Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Si trova in una posizione comodissima, a pochi passi dal parcheggio convenzionato e ad una decina di minuti dal centro città. La struttura è caratteristica e suggestiva. Il personale sorridente ed accogliente. La colazione ottima ed assortita. La camera confortevole, pulita, ben organizzata e silenziosa. Forse solo poco luminosa. Il terrazzo comune è un plus non da poco: comodo, intimo ed accogliente, per rilassarsi la sera dopo una giornata di passeggiate fra i monumenti! Unica nota: manca l'ascensore (ma non sarebbe neanche in linea con l'ambiente). E in fondo un po' di scale non fanno poi male!

La taille des PETITES chambres doubles est vraiment très très petites (à peine la place pour faire le tour du lit).

Reviewed May 23, 2026Delightful boutique hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful.
As to be expected in older buildings, there is no elevator. Staff very kindly helped getting bags up stairs so it worked well but those with mobility issues should be aware.

Hôtel vieillot La peinture s'effrite du plafond Mobilier à revoir Chambre pas du tout conforme à celle du site. Tables et fauteuil petit dej pas tout confortables pour manger Chambre rdc bruyante juste dans le hall d'entrée et à côté de la cuisine : bruits matin et soir. Douche ok. Bonne pression et pas de souci eau chaude/froide. Produits disponibles en pompe. Le prix se justifie peut-être par la localisation mais à refaire je marcherais 10min de plus et irais ailleurs.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Upon check-in, Lola at the front desk was so helpful and took the time to explain the surrounding area (ie food) and she walked me to the room to demonstrate how to use the app to get into the room & building. Also didn't expect rooftop access so had a fabulous view of the city skyline.
The shower stall was a little snug so banged my elbows sometimes haha.

Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel : begeleiding toegang tot het hotel, verzorgd ontbijt, nette kamers, uitgebreide informatie i.v.m. bezienswaardigheden, reserveringen taxi, opslag voor bagage.
