Great value for money in a good, but very noisy, location

Was very noisy through the night as lots of people gathered to party directly below the hotel. Ear plugs were provided in the room but still lots of noise

The designs were quirky.

Where do I start… it’s mis-sold in terms of the size - definitely much smaller than advertised online. The noise - oh wow, it’s like being at a student rave from 3pm till 5am, and then you get a respite for maybe 2 hours and then the street cleaners begin. This needs to be advertised on their website! We booked for four nights - we stayed for one and moved hotel as it was so, so bad. Also, you’d expect that for a room advertised as having a balcony, you’d actually be able to step onto it and god forbid, sit in it… The lady on the phone told us we could get a refund and then when I submitted it via booking.com, they rejected it.

Impossibile dormire nonostante i tappi per le orecchie che abbiamo trovato in camera. Urla, gente ubriaca sotto casa fino alle 4 del mattino. Lampadina vicino letto non funzionava.

La habitación era muy bonita, nuevo y espacioso, con mucha luz y vistas al exterior.

De ligging. Enorm veel lawaai onder het hotel, een bar die bijna niet sluit en daarna schoonmaak en lege flessen weggooien. Verder enorm ongure types die dag en nacht in de portiek hangen. Geen plek om s avonds alleen terug te lopen. Deur openen ook enorm ongemakkelijk.

La ventana estaba rota y no aislaba bien... ruido contínuo hasta las 10h de la mañana, horrible. Teníamos reservada 2 noches y pedimos irnos después de la 1a y que nos reingresaran el importe solo de la segunda. El recepcionista no lo podía hacer y cuando llamamos a la centralita de la empresa nos ofrecieron una patada en las partes.

i muri erano veramente tanto sottili, si sentivano tutti i discorsi sia dei vicini di camera che del receptionist, dato che la camera era proprio di fianco all'ingresso.

The location was great, the room very nice and comfortable, easy check-in and access.

We did not get a check-in email and needed to email, message, and call the accomodation to get it and check-in. The communication could have been smoother!

La camera era molto bella, accogliente e ricercata nell’arredamento. Ho apprezzato la posizione, nel centro storico, la vista dal “balconcino” e i servizi come l’acqua e la macchinetta del caffè con le cialde. Inoltre la stanza aveva un bagno molto comodo e ben accessoriato (persino la piastra ghd). Personale molto cordiale! Ci tornerei

Leggermente rumorosa alla sera ma ovviamente è dovuta alla posizione centralissima della struttura. Non è stato assolutamente un problema.

If possible I would buy this mattress for my own home! The hotel was clean, comfortable and classy with excellent air conditioner. Great location in the old neighborhood but also quiet due to quality windows. The room had very nice lighting . Host was helpful and kind. We parked at indigo arenal for 23 euro for 24 hours. It seems they take online reservation but we came at a busy festival time without reservation and got a spot by waiting for someone to leave. Overall out of 8 places we stayed in Spain all 6 of us agree this was the best night's sleep! We had two rooms both with two twin beds and a queen or king. The phone door lock system worked well.

Like most places they have phone powered door unlock which forces you to get our your phone to get I to house.

Eravamo in moto e non avevamo info su dove fosse il parcheggio.... Le indicazioni le abbiamo trovate poi all'interno dwlla struttura.

Stylische Unterkunft, waren 2x (jeweils eine Nacht) im Zuge der Sonnenfinsternis im August 2026 da. Lage super, viele Restaurants

Im Zimmer 108 waren die Betten wirklich sehr durchgelegen, Zimmer 102 war viel besser. Parken ist sehr kompliziert, sind in einer Garage etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt gestanden da die "offiziell vorgeschlagene" Garage nur bis 20 Uhr offen hat (ja, auch die Autos müssen dann raus...)

Lovely clean room, staff were very helpful and friendly.

It’s right in the middle of old town which is great, BUT there are 2 bars directly underneath which are really loud till 2am. Soundproofing in the room we were in was pretty nonexistent, supplied earplugs didn’t help very much. We managed to cancel the second planned night and book somewhere else, staff very helpful in cancellation.

Great location , such nice staff - really helpful. Perfect place for walking around and enjoying the area. great room and comfy bed.

the only things we ha t leave our bags for the day and had to leave them in a non secure area - when we went back to get them no place to change as this is rooms only - would not let this out you off though as its great and we will stay again.

Durch die zentrale Lage ist es auch spät abends noch sehr laut. Insgesamt ziemlich anonym und unpersönlich und verhältnismäßig teuer.

We loved everything about this place- location, size, equipment (free coffee was a bonus), common place, balconies.

This was a great property, wonderful location, and really friendly staff. Loved it, easy and perfect for two nights along the Camino.

Check-in was a breeze, even when I arrived in the middle of the night. Everything was taken care of and ready for me. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fun. The location was fantastic. We had a great stay and wish we would have stayed longer. Vicki was especially welcoming, kind, and helpful. She provided maps and explanations of everywhere we wanted to go. She even recommended a lovely beach where we had a fantastic day. I was genuinely sad to say goodbye to her.

I have no complaints. Everything was just right.

Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen mit wirklich sehr gutem Service.

Die Lage, da direkt darunter, die jeden Tag bis 4 Uhr früh am Morgen gefeiert wurde. Leider hört man alles & nach der ersten Nacht war klar, weswegen zur Zimmerausstattung auch Oropax (die leider wenig tun konnten) gehören.

This little hidden gem is located in the heart of Old Town and is incredibly well staffed. The decor is artsy and fun. The value for your money is well beyond my expectations and I will place this stay at the top of the list of my entire 10 weeks in Spain and Portugal. I arrived before check-in but Viki sat me in a comfortable area and checked me in. She took my backpack as I went out to eat. When the room was ready, she reached out. Simply the best customer service.

This property met all of my criteria and above.

A historic conversion with individual rooms based on local Bilbao history. Each room was very quirky and staff especially Vicki were so considerate and helpful . The location in the heart of the old town was perfect. 5 to 10 mins walk to stations, metro, river and player Nuevo.

The fridge and hot drinks are in a small communal area rather than be available in room, however this was fine as staff were always checking if drinks and water were available.

The place is amazing, super quirky and cosy and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Viki sat me down and explained different routes and things to see and do in the city. All of the recommendations were fantastic and allowed me to maximise my very short time in Bilbao. I will definitely be back :)

Localização excelente, mesmo no centro de Bilbau, o que nos permitiu ir a pé até às principais atrações sem qualquer dificuldade. Quarto limpo, camas muito confortáveis e casa de banho impecável - com toalhas, secador e até ferro de alisar cabelo, o que adorei!

O estacionamento mais próximo fica a cerca de 10 minutos a pé, o que não é ideal mas também não prejudicou a estadia. Por ser numa zona central, junto de cafés e restaurantes, ouve-se algum barulho à noite - nada que tenha afetado muito o nosso descanso, mas um melhor isolamento acústico seria um ponto a melhorar.

Great position in the old town. The people on reception were lovely and very helpful. The design of the room was very funky.

Some people might find the noise from outside too much but you are staying in the old town where all the bars and restaurants are with a great atmosphere. It didn’t keep us awake but people sensitive to noise probably should be aware.

Personalet var meget imødekommende, søde og hjælpsomme. Stedet lå perfekt i den gamle bydel. Indretningen var sjov, finurlig og gennemført.

Rengøringen var under al kritik. Store nullermænd, som var meget gamle bag alle dørene😔

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. There was air conditioning and a window for fresh air. Blackout curtains. Water in the room and coffee which I liked. Nice foyer with a space to make tea or coffee. Bathroom was fine. Room was very clean. Receptionist in the mornings was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

I didn’t love the neighbourhood. There are two flights of stairs to reach reception. With a small baby this was difficult.

Excellent position within the old town; walking distance to numerous sites of interest and places to eat & drink. Under ten minutes walk from the station. Quaint and characterful room, verry comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with excellent hot shower. It's worth noting there is no lift but stairs manageable. Staff were very lovely, helpful, and welcoming.

We had a great weekend in Bilbao, the location just inside the old town is perfect to explore the city on foot. Really comfortable and all staff we met were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend

Sehr schön und individuell eingerichtete Zimmer, tolle Ausstattung, insbesondere das Glätteisen im Bad fand ich super.

Hier sollten wirklich nur absolute Nachtschwärmer übernachten, um diese Straße herum gibt es entweder Lärm von den Bars, von nach Hause kommenden Nachtschwärmern, Müllautos, Getränkelieferanten und so weiter, es geht die ganze Nacht hindurch. Wem das nichts ausmacht, kann hier ein sehr hübsch gestaltetes Hotel im absoluten Epizentrum voll mit schönen Tapasbars vorfinden.

Struttura moderna, pulita, nel centro storico, perfetta per visitare Bilbao. Staff molto gentile. Le camere meritano di essere viste. Bar e ristoranti vicini. Comodo anche per i mezzi pubblici.

Il design ha sacrificato la praticità e non ci sono posti dove riporre i vestiti, solo una piccola arella. Dal momento che non c’è l’ascensore sarebbe meglio specificare che le camere sono al 2º piano (e non al 1º) perché nel nostro gruppo qualcuno ha avuto difficoltà.

The perfect place to stay for a few days in Bilbao. It’s like an oasis of calm right in the centre of the old town. Lovely room and staff very helpful. Self check in was very easy.

Sehr zentral gelegen, so dass alles gut erreichbar ist. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll individuell eingerichtet. Sehr bequeme Betten. Der digitale Check-in hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Juiste locatie voor loopafstand bereikbaarheid centrum. Personeel aardig en behulpzaam. deurcode was bekend bij aankomst en werkte goed. kamers schoon en iedere dag schone handdoeken en beddengoed .

De locatie is zeer gehorig, zowel binnen als van buitenaf zer doordringend geluid. Bij binnenkomst lagen er al oordopjes op de wastafel, dus we vreesde het toen al. ondanks dat toch erg gehorig, Verder geen lift aanweig, zware koffers voor oudere is een probleem

De ligging is perfect. Midden in het oude centrum. In- en uitchecken werkt prima. Netjes en schoon!

Het matras was oké, maar we lagen wel een beetje in een kuil. Er was alleen mogelijkheid om kleding op te hangen, geen ladekastje ofzoiets.

The location, staff and the level of cleanliness is what stands out for this property. All the amenities are within walking distance. Guggenheim museum is a 20 min walk but is very enjoyable as is along the river.

The noise outside is something to consider if you are a person who doesn't sleep in any conditions. The windows are not very noise proof but - in fairness - the staff are kind enough and they provide ear plugs :)

A livello di arredo la struttura è bellissima perché ha un arredo davvero particolare e ricercato che la rende molto molto particolare. E le stanza sono pulite e curatissime.

Purtroppo la pensione si trova nel cuore pulsante della città vecchia e proprio sotto ci sono una miriade di locali che si popolano di fiumi di gente a partire dalle 18 e a finire anche verso le 4 del mattino. Il rumore del vociferio della gente è fortissimo e si sente nelle camere. Infatti la struttura mette a disposizione dei tappi per orecchie. Se uno ha il sonno leggero ,è impossibile dormire. è un peccato perché questo difetto penalizza la bellezza della struttura.

The common areas did smell of cigarettes at times and on occasion this came into the room. The pillows weren't great.

Beautiful, stylish room with super comfy bed (slept like a baby!) and a balcony. Very nice and helpful staff. Perfect location. Yes, it might be a bit noisy in the evenings but then - you're in Casco Viejo! I will be more than happy to return.

I loved the location and the cool old building - as well as the modern updates. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Given that it's near Basque restaurants and bars that are open late, there was some street noise.

La habitación me encantó, todo limpio y la decoración muy bonita, en el baño tenía secador de cabello y planchas, la cama súper cómoda, Estuve muy a gusto.

Lo único, el alojamiento está en una segunda planta, hay que subir escaleras sin ascensor para quien venga con maletas grandes, la habitación que estuve estaba bonita pero no son grandes ni amplias, es una pensión.

Geweldige locatie en heel leuke kamer, met hemelbed. Een mooie badkamer.

Op straat is veel lawaai. In het hotel krijg je oordoppen en dat hielp voldoende. In de grote badkamer geen ruimte om je spullen neer te zetten.
