Staff is pushy on feedback forms. Been getting no stop reminders While my stay was pleasant, client who was traveling with me got their belongings removed day early cause staff was confused and thought they would check our earlier than what was booked. Very bad experience and will mean have to think twice about staying here again

Good building and location!

I would like to appreciate the service in the breakfast time specially Soumya/Chef Raju (Hd Chef)Prabaha/Chef Bipul/Inalika and Debjani. Whenever we ordered some special items(diabetic friendly) they tried to serve the items almost immediately in which we are very much overwhelmed. Hope in our next visit to Bangalore we shall keep the first preference in the JW Marriott UBCity.

I always look forward to my stay at the JW in Bangalore. Especially for the executive lounge. Nishant, Priya and Sukhpal are excellent and attentive hosts. It is a great place to work, collaborate as a team and to relax overlooking the beautiful view. The food and the hospitality are top notch.

Everything about my stay was very comfortable. All of the staff was very kind and helpful to address any need that came up. I especially appreciated Robi and Mahesh who were the primary housekeepers for my room. My room was always very clean and neat after their service. They always paid close attention to details and made sure they were meeting my needs and requests.

Loved my stay at JW Marriott, the room was neatly done and special care was taken by Raman from housekeeping. Raman made sure the tub was beautifully done up after a long day, his care and hospitality goes a long way and I really appreciate him. The staff at JW Marriott are top notch and eager to give the best experience. I would love to stay with you again and enjoy the amazing view of Cubbon Park and enjoy the beautiful sunset from the balcony with a cup of tea.

Best staycation for business trip. Honestly staff is very well in customer services. Room is old but services are amazing. Special thanks Nitya and his Manager Gaurav. Both are very helpful professionals. Nitya made my entire stay so good by making small arts with flowers. Food at JW kitchen is also good so far. It seems menu is same everyday in breakfast , but it was nice. Gym is good to in this hotel. Well recommended hotel to everyone. Thanks

I visited Bengaluru for work in July. I was well looked after by the hotel staff especially Nishant and Sukhpal in the Executive Lounge. They were very good at anticipating my needs and assisting with choices. Excellent wit also. Also, Binay was fantastic with keeping the room straight and well stocked with water. Thanks to all 🙏🏼

The perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives We hosted our wedding here and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience from start to finish. The location alone is stunning, but what truly made it special was the people. A huge heartfelt thank you to chefs Raju, Mehul, and Arjun — the food was absolutely brilliant, and their warmth and dedication shone through every dish. They went above and beyond in every sense. Camelia and Shivy made the entire booking and contracting process so smooth and stress-free. During what can be an overwhelming time, their sweetness and professionalism were such a gift. Vignesh and Mohit handled all the logistics seamlessly — everything ran like clockwork on the day, which meant we could simply enjoy every moment. The entire team was so hospitable, warm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. We felt looked after at every step. If you’re looking for a venue that combines a great location with an exceptional team who truly care, look no further. We will be forever grateful.

Just a small suggestion - the pool sun loungers don’t have any parasol or umbrellas when the sun was beaming down in the morning times, would be good to have some options

As a long stay, repeat guest of the JW Marriott Bengaluru, there are times when service and atmosphere almost become routine, and one tends to get absorbed in your own agenda and to-do lists, especially for business guests, however, there are the moments when not just the level, but the enduring service reminds me why I stay at the JW Marriott Bengaluru. I have stayed at many Marriott properties all over the world, none surpass the service experienced here. I had to obtain a personal package and the front desk, and concierge teams went above and beyond to see that it was taken care of. The JW Kitchen staff is exceptional, Chef Raju, Bipul, Rohan, and Tanvi all capture the essence of dedication, service and artistic flair needed for a 5-star property. I have written many reviews over the years for the JW BLR, so at this point all i can do is to remind the uninitiated of the goodness that await them at this hotel. Do not be misguided, I am not touting perfection, rather I am embellishing a persistence and drive to BE perfect, to achieve and deliver a customer experience that you will take with you. The AAW celebration week was a special time that will be cherished! Namaste! Must visit uno izakaya! The food here is outstanding, don’t leave the hotel without eating at their Japanese speakeasy. We had two lovely meals of yellowfin tuna, omakase nigiri, buff steak, truffle mushroom with umami rice, hamachi with lemon grass and coconut, salmon with mandarin, scallops with plum, Chef Shubam is simply spectacular, nobody else can pair different elements of food like he does, he is talented beyond compare! And Dieze is excellent at service, she knows all of the good stuff, suggests great tips and makes you feel completely at home. This is the best Japanese restaurant that India has to offer, no doubt! (Loved the cocktails as well, the bartender whips them up as per your liking..) fabulous experience

This is my third visit at JW Marriott Bengaluru. It's a fantastic hotel mostly because of the people who work here, making the experience special and caring. The location, food and clenliness are also great (love the breakfast especially!). Thank you Mahesh and all for what you do everyday.

Location, ability to walk to main attractions, staff friendliness and training, flexibility around check-out times.

Rooms are dated, but prices are up there with newer properties. Restaurants need a facelift - chairs, tablecloth, dishes all need uplift. Same for towels in the room. Chairs in the room are not comfy to sit so during hot days there is no space to rest.

I have always stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru during my business trips here. The guest service in this hotel is always excellent. I would like to commend the following people for making my stay here this week very comfortable. They are polite, attentive and very helpful. From the Executive Lounge, I want to thank Nishant and Sukhpal for being topnotch. From the Front Desk, Ambrish Singh has always remembered me when I come back to the hotel for business. Ambrish is very attentive and proactive in making sure I am helped. From the Restaurant, Nadim makes sure I am able to have the special drink I request every morning: Carrot, Apple, Spinach and Ginger drink. He also anticipates a need for a to-go snack for when I go to the customer office. I truly appreciate these people and give JW Marriott a big thumbs up!

What makes this property so special is that excellence here is not confined to one department — it is reflected consistently across the entire guest experience. Whether it was the room/suite during this visit, housekeeping, the spa, food & beverage, concierge, laundry, front office, or the overall management, everything felt polished, thoughtful and wonderfully well put together. The property runs with a certain ease and confidence that only comes from strong leadership and a genuinely service-driven culture. Gaurav Sinha deserves full credit for leading this outstanding Marriott asset with such elegance and distinction — and it truly shows. A special mention also to Ananya Bannerji and Divya, who help ensure the guest journey feels seamless and beautifully stitched together, with no loose ends. At the front desk, Pooja Singh and Bishan made the stay feel effortless from check-in to check-out. Warm, gracious, efficient and extremely polished. Housekeeping was excellent, and Rajita in particular stood out for her instinctive understanding of guest preferences and attention to detail. It is little things like these that elevate a stay from good to memorable. The culinary experience was, as always, exceptional. The quality, variety and depth of the food offering is seriously impressive. Never gave the bill

This hotel is my absolute favorite in Bengaluru. The minute I walk in , I know am in good hands and my stay will be relaxed and worry free . The staff specially the front desk people are excellent. I had a health issue on the road , on one of my previous stays and the attention and care I got was nothing short of being at home . Front desk manager Sanchita Dutta came to take care of me in a hotel vehicle and saw to it that I was seen by a doctor etc. Since then I have visited again and will surely be staying here whenever am in Bengaluru .

OH MY GOSH!! The service is increíble and the hotel is gorgeous. The best part was Mahesh who attended our room. I’ve never had such high quality service in my entire life. Such a beautiful soul with a great smile, and gave me the warmest welcome with gifts and beautiful details to make me feel special. I had just come from AP, his home state, and actually visited his state, and he so graciously looked at my pictures and we had a beautiful conversation. Mahesh kept our room in top shape, supremely clean, organized, and beautiful, but more than that shared the heart of India and was a true ambassador for his culture.

Room service, atmosphere cleaning, cute decor on the bed everything was awesome. Amritesh and damtii did a very good job, polite and kind people.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night during our visit to Bengaluru. The reason we chose this hotel was the JW Marriott brand which is expected to offer a high level of luxury and reward night availability through our Marriott Bonvoy program. Due to the brand we had very high expectations.  Our stay was mostly ok. The reception staff were courteous and friendly, aiming to offer the best service that they can.  They welcomed us holding doors and there was no wait at the reception at all. Before arrival, we checked if an early check in around 7 a.m. would be possible when they emailed us to ask if we have any requests and confirmed that it should be possible to offer a room even though the room type cannot be guaranteed. During the check in, this detail was initially missed and we were asked to pay an extra night of stay cost. When we declined and offered to stay in the lobby until our room became available without a cost difference, they confirmed the prior communication from the system and offered the room which was greatly appreciated, considering the overnight flight that we had.  The room was full of nice amenities. Lots of high quality creams and shower products, shaving kits and amenity kits. Towels were also top quality with a super soft feel. The fridge was also stocked with a good selection of drinks. We had a wonderful view of the park from the 10th floor and the automated curtains were very luxurious to use. However, this magical setup fell short of the quality we expect, when we opened the bed duvet and noticed some hard to identify black spots on the bedding. I felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the bedding so much so that I used a body towel as a second level of bedding. This should have never happened at a JW Marriott in my opinion. The executive lounge was super nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There could be a few more nibbles when they are not serving food since we never managed to get to the lounge at serving hours.  We also had a chance to visit the gym and the facilities around the pool area. They were quite impressive with a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and lots of exercise machines. It looked so professional that even a professional sports person wouldn't mind using it.  The worst of the experiences happened when we were sleeping. We went to bed at 10 pm and at 11, there was a constant scrubbing sound coming from the locked connecting room next door. The sound was very loud and lasted more than 50 minutes even though we knocked the door to make it stop and called the reception later. They apologized, explaining that there was maintenance and they stopped immediately after our call (which wasn't true as it lasted another 15-20 minutes). For a 5* luxury hotel like this, they shouldn't even consider a maintenance repair at 11 pm and this ruined our sleep. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to have breakfast due to our early flight. For this reason, we cannot comment on the dining quality. All in all, the luxury is there. However, the hotel is showing signs of aging and the staff needs to plan the maintenance to non-disruptive hours. We had higher expectations from the service due to the brand and even though all the good intentions were there, I had much better stays in mid-tier hotels.

JW Bangalore continues to be a great service experience. Breakfast is remarkable and the per-floor housekeeping representative (Mahesh for me) is very responsive.

Service and quality were excellent. Rooms were clean and I always looked forward to what type of live flower design I would have on my bed when I returned for the evening. Food is great and can’t ask for better service from the folks outside when I departed and returned at the end of the day.

Went for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. Since we were travelling with kid and infant, informed them over email and got the confirmation. But, they ruined our special day. Last year also, we booked one night staycation to celebrate our Anniversary. I had some queries, so emailed them. But no response. Called them, but the receiver lady was rude, did not have basic courtesy. Because of their dont care attitude, at last minute we cancelled the booking. Only after online review, they responded at very last minute. But, it was too late and the response was very very cold. Anyway, this year, we thought of give it a second try. Since its JW Marriot brand, we thought, this year all will be good only. But, I was wrong. They never called or email me to know whether I have any special request. It is sad they dont know what is Personalisation and Customisation means, let alone guest delight. We felt unwanted and we have never faced such an unwelcoming environment in any Hotel. How can you do that after knowing that the guests already faced service issue previously?? My request to JW Marriot Bengaluru team, please dont do such things with any of your guest. Coming to the food, it was horrible. - Very limited menu and most of the items were actually cold. - Starters were not fresh and chicken was like rubber. In chicken malai tikka, not only chicken was cold, the malai was freezing cold. - Only cucumber and lettuce were there in salad section. - How can you serve cold biriyani?? We actually could not eat any of the dishes properly. Nothing was in live counter. In fact, the chimney over the live counter was malfunctioning, so the burning smell was spreading all over. - Ordered butter naan, but they delivered butter tandoori roti. When I asked, they kept arguing that this is the butter naan. I had chat with the chef and he agreed the cold food issue. Sad part is that, in the confirmation email, many Senior People were there in email loop, most of them in Director position, still this happened. Due to bad dinner experience, I called one of their director who was there in that email loop, and I understood they completely forgot about our booking. In fact, she did not bother to wish me or my wife. Only positive was the restaurant staff. They were super helpful. They tried their best to provide us a comfortable dining experience. However, due to bad dining experience, they did not charge us for dinner. But, our special day was already spoiled by that time. It was a good gesture, but it was too late. Avoid this hotel at any cost. Never ever plan to celebrate your special day here. What I felt, they do not care about “normal guest”. May be they are only concerned about “VIP Guests”.

Comfortable room, attentive staff, and exceptional housekeeping (thank you Tapas). Nishant, Sukhpai, and Priya at the Executive lounge made our evenings bearable after such long working hours. I highly recommend this hotel to the hard working traveler.
