I stayed at The Ritz as part of a corporate event. I was quite excited to stay at one of the heritage hotels of Bangalore but was quite disappointed. It is located in the heart of Bangalore, close to Lavelle Road & UB city, with all major attractions nearby. The breakfast spread was large, the rooms were large and comfortable made in old luxury style. However, the good parts end there. The food served as part of the event was quite average, even bland. I was quite disappointed by the hospitality at such a premier hotel. The entire hotel staff seemed to treat people from the corporate event like cattle. They were all snobbish to a degree that is not at all expected from a chain known for luxury. I mistakenly entered the ritz club instead of the lobby lounge and felt the entire staff judge me from top to bottom. Have never felt so unwelcome. The reception staff was so unattentive, they were only interested in serving their clients from outside India. When I requested the reception to retrieve my luggage from the concierge, they actually told me to go to another floor and get it myself. I had to explicitly tell them that they need to get it for me. I have stayed in flagship properties around the world and can say this is not worth spending your money. Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy member, I don’t think I’m going to choose a Ritz again, specially in India. Someone needs to train the staff and tell them that they are not the ones defining the “luxury” narrative but the people who choose to stay there are.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms were well-maintained, the amenities were excellent, and everything I needed was easily available. The hotel was also peaceful with very low noise levels, which made the stay relaxing. A special mention to Abhay, who handled my check-in. He was very professional, polite, welcoming, and made the whole process smooth and pleasant. His attention to detail and friendly attitude really stood out. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The cleanliness, amenities, peaceful atmosphere, and outstanding service made my stay memorable. I would definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to staying here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel Ritz Bengalure, great atmosphere, toom was great had alot of space and value was fair. Room service was fantastic and room was cleaned everyday, shoutout to Kimi for keeping the room very clean.

Location is great. Ambience is excellent. Superb rooms and amenities. Lovely staff. Specific mention for Ms. Damini ( House Keeping Manager). She is exceptional in her work. Great food. 5 Restuarants, all are good. Taste is excellent. Would recommend others to surely be a part of this journey. Lovely return gift too on departure.

Ayan and Hlui were so kind and kind and each day checking in if anything was needed. I only have great things to say about the whole staff and really made the experience make me feel at home. The hospitality is second to none. They went above and beyond to write notes, remember what I liked at breakfast time, check in about laundry and were ready to assist if I needed anything else. I bought gifts at the jewelry store and got the bottles of the lotion/shampoo/conditioner since I loved using them so much during my stay. Thank you so much to everyone.

I've stayed at so many five-star luxury hotels, and none compare to the service I had here at Ritz Bangalore. The staff genuinely care, and you can feel it. At most other hotels, issues like noise, cleanliness, or poor service are simply shrugged off with no effort to fix them, and often barely even an apology. The Ritz was the opposite. There were a few hiccups during my stay, but each was remedied quickly and graciously. Every concern I raised was handled promptly and with real care. The staff went above and beyond in both service and attentiveness. I was regularly checked on by several staff at breakfast and by various managers throughout my stay. On several occasions they gifted a complimentary dessert tray and roses to my room, thoughtful touches that made the stay feel truly special. I originally planned to stay about five days and ended up staying for a month. The dining was equally impressive. I tried every restaurant, and all of the food was amazing. Zarqash, the Indian restaurant, served elevated dishes with unique spices and flavors. The breakfast buffet had an incredible selection of Indian, Asian, and Western options every morning. As a vegan, I was met with real care, the chefs regularly offered to prepare special dishes for me, and the regular menu already offered extensive veg options. They even remembered my usual breakfast coffee order and had it ready for me. Highly recommended for anyone who values a hotel that actually listens and cares about their customers. I will be coming back

I was travelling with my 7-year-old son and my 60-year-old mother, each with different dietary requirements. Chef Arnav took the time to understand our preferences and lovingly customized Jain meals for my son and mother. Knowing that I follow a clean fat-loss diet, he thoughtfully prepared healthy meals for me throughout our four-night stay without ever compromising on taste or presentation. From Sneha who greeted me each morning and kept my room comfortable and clean to the servers in the market who remembered I preferred sparkling water instead of still. The team at this hotel make you feel like you are part of their family.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights with my colleagues for business. My romm number was 917 stayed there 19-22 July 2026. My new purchased parfume Byredo Bal d'afrique 100 ml bottle and real pearl necklace was stolen in the morning of 22 July while I was having my breakfast in the restaurant. When I contacted hotel, they told me they will investigate the case. I asked to contact to the hotel manager, they said he is not available and asked him to to call me back , no calls so far. Only contact from hotel is Loss Prevention dept and each time another guy telling me stories...

This was our second time. Service remains top notch. Food quality also excellent. Special shout out to Lavit Dua at the exec lounge who took such good care of us and went above and beyond. Also to the other staff at the lounge and to Shubhangi (hope I got the name right) at breakfast. Some small things can be improved which will go a long way for a superior experience. For example, no indication or banner anywhere that there's a dance performance three days a week. Our room was missing a shower gel (we didn't realize it until we saw it in the other room we had booked). Some of the furniture in the common areas by the lobby are not very comfortable. And not sure whether the roof top bar is operational?

Fantastic rooms , very luxurious and and impeccably well done with the design and architecture in the rooms and the hotel. Amazing SPA facilities with a nice pool and amazing wet facilities. All the housekeeping and resturant staff at breakfast are all excellent and were very attentive to our needs at all times. We were well taken care of all the time. The bathroom is beautifully designed and the bath salts were a nice touch! I will definitely stay here again.

The staff at reception can be a little more friendly and courteous during check-in and check-out I have stayed at many Ritz Carlton around the world and it's the first time I saw the check-in and check out process was not a pleasant one. I specifically instructed the check-in staff that I would like the deposit hold amount to be on a specific credit card and then during checkout I would like to use another credit card to make the actual payment and then I had decided to extend my stay for another day and the receptionist closed the booking and settled the bill with the card that was used as the hold card. I find it very inconvenient that everytime you leave the hotel and come back in you need to pass through a metal detector and have to keep x-raying your belongings. The toiletries can be improved for the standard of Ritz Carlton.

I had an excellent experience at the Japanese restaurant inside of the Ritz Carlton Carlton in Bangalore. I am vegan, and sometimes I worry that a restaurant may not have accommodations for me. Chef Deep made for me multiple delicious dishes. He even found me a fantastic vegan dessert. Rochill made me an amazing old-fashioned. My server was Iku, who was very attentive and very friendly. All three of them made my experience enjoyable. I will definitely be back.

I am vegetarian. All the food we ate were very tasty. The arrangements are very good. The services are excellent, especially the ones who served us viz, Shibhanghi and Amar were very courteous.

Good central location. I personally prefer JW a tad bit better, being right opposite Cubbon park. Very clean, great breakfast buffet and staff always eager to help. Rooms are huge for a single person with city views. Uber pickup right out of lobby. Ate dinner at Market restaurant. A slight improvement required here - while flavor full , one item was very very spicy that i had to stop eating half way through. They comp ed me a dessert. Indian desserts seemed too sweet. The rooftop bar could do better on the complimentary snacks. Overall a fantastic stay.

This place has some of the best food in Bangalore. The nigiri sushi is genuinely on par with what you would get in Japan. The chef, Deep, did a thorough and fantastic job with preparing the food. He also personally came out to speak with us. Our waitress, Ikuwangle, was most responsive and proactive. But really the food is exceptional.

Excellent buffet, Sevelu was very attentive to our table and made us really comfortable. Had a memorable experience.

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bangalore in October 2025 and was blown away by their hospitality and service. The airport pickup was smooth, easy and hassle free. My driver, Yeshav (I sincerely apologize for misspelling your name) was so gracious, friendly, informative and professional. The hotel is centrally located and made it easy and convenient to get around the city. It. Everything, from the grounds, to the restaurants to the rooms were clean, very comfortable, spacious and well kept. Check in was effortless and the greeters at the hotel entrance to the check in staff, were so warm and welcoming. I wanted to give a special shout out to the hosts/hostesses and wait staff at The Market. Your professionalism, kindness, warmth, genuineness and service was outstanding and made my day everyday. Would like to give a shout out to a young female waitress (whose name I am not able to spell) who made my mornings there extra special with an easy smile, cheerfulness and great conversation I also had the opportunity to spend some time in the Club Lounge - had great food, city views and offered a clam and laidback space to just chill. Tanu, a hostess there was another shining example of excellent service, kindness and professionalism. We had a lovely evening at the bar, it was calm with nice music, not too loud. We enjoyed some cocktails and an appetizer. The service was excellent, Sowmyajit was attentive, friendly and professional. It’s priced on the higher end but a great spot for an occasion or when you need to really relax.

I have known miss Pooja Jain from about a decade and her helping nature and cheerful smile always wins any dull day . This hotel is beautifully presented and features exceptional dining options. The Japanese restaurant, **Izu**, stands out as the premier choice in Bangalore, offering luxurious, fresh sashimi flown in directly from Japan. The service at Izu by Kiki and the team was personalised and wonderful. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff, specifically Bimal and MD Sinan, ensured my room remained immaculate throughout my stay.

Rooms are little old fashioned and more ambience outdoors but the breakfast is average as compared to other 4 or 5-star Marriott hotels. Stay was comfortable but did not live entirely upto the expectations of a 5 star property.

Had such a delicious meal at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore Izu Japanese restaurant! 🤩 Every dish was a work of art, from the delicate appetizers to the fresh sushi prepared by Chef Noel Adrais. The service was amazing and the staff was all super friendly. The rooms were extremely nice and the beds were comfortable. The spa and attention to details was amazing. We want to shoutout Kapil who made the experience even more amazing by his attentiveness and his support.

I struggled for the right way to describe this hotel where I stayed for 3 nights recently and the best I could come up with was “out of sync”. Let me explain: Starting with the positives the hotel is clean, has lots of facilities and all of the staff are scrupulously polite and attentive - these are good people trying to do their job as well as they can. It’s also quiet which is a real blessing in a city like Bangalore. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and all of the room controls are intuitive and work well. The not so good include the fact that the decor is tired - think late nineties or earlier. The in room dining menu is very limited if you don’t like Indian / spicy food and there are few options and even fewer that are actually available. The choices for food and drink in the room / minibar are terrible - either inedible or unhealthy. I would also comment that the food in the Michelin Chef run Zarquash restaurant is average in the extreme. None of that would really outweigh the positives but there are some really bizarre things about this hotel that I can only put down to management choices. Firstly the welcome; it’s 5am I haven’t slept on the plane and I just want to get to bed and rest up for a few hours before work. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that’s how people feel at that time of the morning after a long flight. Instead you get greeted by someone who puts a turban on your head and a cheap plastic necklace around your neck. What is this place you are thinking, Disneyland? Secondly, in what world is embroidering your name on a pillow case a nice touch? What do they do after you leave? Burn it? Unstitch it? Who has ever put their name on a pillow case? Lastly along with the ubiquitous chocolate on the pillows and slippers by the bed, there’s a free gift bag to thank you for your loyalty. It contains a plastic fridge magnet, a pair of Xmas cracker quality cufflinks and a wooden doll that looks like a troll. As free gifts go, it’s fair to say this is like winning the booby prize. You can’t blame the staff for this stuff, these are just the management choices of someone about 40 years out of date with what constitutes a quality hotel experience. They are clearly trying - just from the perspective of the wrong century. The only thing that really surprised me was that there was no trouser press in the room. It’s that kind of place and I won’t be staying here again.
