Localização excelente . Funcionarios super colaborativos, banho quente, quarto mto bom, café da manhã mto bom! Super recomendo o hotel.

La ubicación inmejorable y la atención del personal fue magnífica, desde la llegada hasta que nos fuimos, un nivel y calidad de servicio excepcional.

No tiene piscina en el hotel, pero bueno.. al menos tienen convenios con otros hoteles de la zona donde puedes refrescarte si lo deseas.

My stay at Delirio Hotel in Cartagena Colombia was a wonderful experience. It was my first visit to Colombia and the location exceeded my expectations. It was in the heart of the "Old City" in easy walking distance of the sights, restaurants, shopping and even the cambio. The room was cosy ,comfortable and clean and quiet for the most part. The staff was friendly accommodating offering a welcoming and embracing experience. Breakfast was included and was a great plus. All in all my stay at Delirio Hotel was pleasant and easy and I look forward to staying there again -next time I visit Cartagena

If you are visiting Cartagena, stay here! Hotel Delirio has the perfect location, beautiful clean rooms, and an amazing staff. It’s charming, intimate, and right in the middle of the historic center. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the beds were so comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better home base in the city. he entire team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless, offering great local recommendations and top-tier hospitality

I recently stayed for eight nights at the Delirio Hotel in the Walled City in Cartagena. Cartagena is a city I already love, but my stay this time at the Delirio made it absolute perfection. The hotel was literally everything I could have wanted in a hotel there. It was the ideal location in the middle of the Walled City and, surprisingly, there was no noise to keep my up at night, despite being the Centro and my room overlooking the street. My room was bright, cheerful and impeccably clean with truly stunning views from the balcony - I had a panoramic view of the beautiful rooftops of the Centro and a multitude of stunning, colorful rooftop gardens, as well as the Catedral. It was pure heaven to sit at the table on the balcony and work from there (excellent wi-fi). I also felt totally safe, which was important to me as a female traveling alone. Absolutely everyone on the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly at all times - definitely lifting the experience to a higher level. I really wish I'd known about this hotel during previous stays in Cartagena.

La ubicacion privilegiada (a metros de todo los edificios turisticos y mejores comercios), un hotel con estructura antigua , colonial, pero reciclado y con todas las comodidades de lo moderno. Tiene ascensor para acceder a las habitaciones y buenos y necesarios aires acondicionados. El personal siempre amable, dispuesto a ayudar. El desayuno es super completo, frutas de todo tipo(hasta granadilla y fruto del dragon, entre otras), huevos , yogures, pan de zanahoria como novedad, integrales con semillas, fiambre, delicioso cafe. Sin duda, lo recomendamos, vale la pena lo que sale, lo volveria a elegir.

La calle es un poco ruidosa, pero es parte del encanto de Cartagena. A la hora de dormir, se silencia bastante y no es un problema. Mas aun en la premium, q esta en el 5to. Piso.

The Delirio Hotel delivered above our expectations. Firstly, the staff created the first impression of friendliness, and were ready to help with any questions we had. A special mention to the kitchen staff, who were always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, cereal, fresh juices, eggs, omelettes, and croissants. Our room was clean and our little balcony provided us with a magical view of the world passing by beneath us, while we sipped a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. The bed was comfortable and the shower amazing. The location within the walled city is perfect, and attractions and restaurants are all easily walkable.

El trato del personal es muy bueno, sobre todo las personas de cocina son súper súper atentas.

Las instalaciones les falta un repaso…el precio no está ajustado al mantenimiento de las habitaciones, el cristal de la ducha de nuestra habitación no cerraba y el agua se salía, se lo comentamos al chico de recepción. Creo que para el precio deberían de tenerlo mejor cuidado.

Location

Buenísima ubicación al lado de la librería Ábaco y la Nacional. Muy tranquilo, con cafés al lado, restaurantes. Y con un gran gran plus: 20 fotografías gigantes en blanco y negro del gran fotógrafo colombiano Hernán Díaz quien fotografió como pocos a Cartagena. De lujo la cocinera y su desayuno hecho fresquito y con mucho amor.

En los cuartos se empieza a notar el paso del tiempo y la falta de mantenimiento: cajones que no encajan, puertas que no cierran, pintura que se cae. Ojo con los detalles.

La habitación, el servicio, la atencion personalizada y desayuno donde te atienden muy bien! La ubicación del hotel es perfecta!

Good property for the price you paid.

Ubicación perfecta, tranquilidad para poder descansar del bullicio de la calle por la noche y el personal adorable que nos ha facilitado toda la información que necesitábamos. El aire acondicionado funcionaba estupendamente y eso en Cartagena en esencial.

El hotel está bien, aunque una manita de pintura no le vendría mal en la habitación y una mejor iluminación en el baño. El desayuno honestamente era muy limitado para ser buffet.

No hay reposición del desayuno constantemente. Llegamos a las 9:00 a tomar desayuno y no quedaba bolleria, fruta ni queso/jamon

The location of the hotel is amazing if visiting Cartagena. Very walkable to all local tourist spots we wanted to visit! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, I don’t know Spanish very well and thankfully a couple of the staff knew some English well to translate. The room is a bit on the small side, but that’s because we chose the one with the terrace view. Otherwise A/C worked great for the hot temps, and we had no issues staying here! Breakfast was simple, and met our needs for the 5 nights we stayed here. Would 100% recommend to a friend for the price and location!

A recepção foi plenamente Cordial sem exceção, todos os colaboradores foram cordiais e prestativos. Além da localização ser perfeita e todos os serviços também, o café da manhã ótimo também.

Eu gostaria sinceramente que pudesse aumentar a data do Check-out, as 12h é bastante cedo.

I enjoyed the local breakfast with the Araipa and plantain the options were good. All things considered it was good value for the price. My room had a small balcony overlooking the street which I enjoyed very much.

The room did not have a kettle or cups to make a cup of tea.

The breakfast was amazing and the service was great. We were in the last floor and we had the terrace to go out and see the cathedral from there. The room was a little bit small but clean.

Delirio was clean with the most lovely friendly staff. It’s a budget hotel, no frills but very clean & balcony room was a plus to see the views & street life . Unfortunately we were not warned of INSANE construction going on. The beautiful courtyard with pool does not exist - it’s full of scaffolding . Hammering & drilling at all hours until 7:30pm! We had to call the front desk daily to ask them to stop drilling in our wall, they would stop when we called but continued each day. Otherwise would be a great budget stay with pretty balcony view .

I made a reservation, but I had to change the date. I was able to reach once the hotel, but I was never able to reach them again to finish the process of changing the date. So I had to book another hotel, and i was not refunded. The hotel seems nice, but my experience with client service and refund was very bad.

Like its location walking distance to main turistic attractions. Didn’t like safe box didn’t have key to close it and wrong button instructions. Closet hangers too high even for a 1.75 m person. Shower missing antisliding rug.

The hotel has an excellent location and a premium service. The room was clean and the has a balcony where I can drink my cup of coffee with an awesome view of the tower church.

English wasn’t easy but patience and kindness was. Breakfast was great and plentiful. The location was ideal. Everything seemed close, the action was so easily accessible, restaurants etc etc. I am recommending Delirio, 4 star facility, 5 star service, location and breakfast.

First, inside the Walls is so lively and so comfortably safe, Making the Delirio location perfect. Many reviews compliment the location and I would go so far as to say, perfect. The other 5 star piece is the staff and breakfast. Beautiful people, fabulous food and a great way to start your day! 4 star is the room and facility. I would choose to stay here again and again.

Wonderful staff. The kitchen staff was outstanding, they went far beyond offering us all kinds of choices from typical arepa de huevo , to omelets with all sorts of breads and bakery .

We loved everything

This is the most unclean and cheap looking room I’ve ever stayed in. Not worth $160 a night. The room, shower, sink is very poor quality and with grime and rust. Cheap chipping paint. The floors and room emanate every single sound from the outside so we couldn’t sleep. There is no balcony or view. They only show you the best rooms in their photos. The stairs don’t even have hand rails which is so dangerous when walking down (I’m 6 mo. pregnant). The WiFi constantly went out so i ended up using a lot of data on my phone without realizing it. The concierge have a poor attitude about working. Look at you crazy if you ask them a simple question (we speak fluent Colombian Spanish). Won’t refill the waters in the lobby (pitcher always empty) and never brought us the juice they promised during check-In. Even when I asked for it he pitched be filled so I could have a glass of water, they didn’t want to. Even in the daytime, they’re not at their desk to buzz us in at the door. My goodness, we’ve stayed at many beautiful hotels in Cartagena for much less and better hospitality. This place was such a scam. The only exception was the nice gentleman that served us our eggs in the morning who was the only hospitable person.

Great hotel staff was friendly, room was better then expected would stay again

Seriously from the moment we walked through the door two beautiful ladies dressed elegantly in white with the most beautiful sincere smile were there to welcome us and check us in. All the staff were amazing with us. Breakfast was awesome and quality. Rooms were very clean and internet. Hot shower with pressure and the lovely fragrant quality body soap and shampoo/conditioner. Great working A/C. Note: we were invited by staff to use the pool and spa at their sister motel (very nice facilities) as well no charge. Super secure. The location is fabulous and of course there is a little street noise as you are in the heart of the old city and would be no different to any other place in proximity. From the balcony we could watch the people interact …horse carriages pass by etc which was so nice. I hate writing reviews but this places was certainly deserving of my time and want to encourage others wanting a sincere opinion as we also review ed when choosing this place. Great value 👍

Location, good breakfast and friendly staff.

The room was very small with a tiny sink in the bedroom not in the bathroom. The bed creaked when you moved and it was a bit too firm.

Great location, lovely lobby, very nice breakfast.

We were put in a room that had an overpowering ammonia smell. I thought it was cleaning solution. Turned out it was mold. Parts of the bathroom were not only shoddily constructed but were black with mold. Beyond gross. I couldn’t understand all the good reviews. After one night of this we were moved into a smaller but mold free room on a higher floor. Then it was a whole different experience and worthy of good reviews.

Staff is great,but the hotel needs alot of work,it a bit rundown and the room are very small,The AC i think it been there since they open lol,it was just ok. Breakfast was fine,very little to choose from,but they did make your eggs for you. The service staff was GREAT all of them,very nice

Property is great for family vacations. If one is scheduling to go party - this is not the place you want to stay. Visitors are not ethically allowed.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing! They were kind and a calming resents. I'm very happy we stayed here for our last night in Colombia. Alexa Jimenez recommended my family go to Vadana for food and it was one of the best experiences I've had in my life! The food was amazing and the waiter was a joy. I hope to come back someday

Perfect location.

This could be a super boutique hotel & is in an excellent location but it's a little tired and is in need of some TLC. The windows in the room were in a poor state, the bathroom window was missing it's handle so was always open, the bedroom window had a handle but was very difficult to close because the window frame was bent.. not a major problem in terms of safety given we were on the 5th floor but does mean the air-con never really works properly. The electronic keys for the bedroom sometimes took many attempts to unlock the door & despite changing the keys 3 times things never really improved. Breakfast was good, the pancakes were soft and fluffy and the arepa stuffed with egg was good too. It was just a little unusual that despite being told breakfast ran until 10, that we essentially found the breakfast area closed at 9:30... they were good enough to reopen and make some more of the delicious pancakes though!

Service was great. However the condition of the hotel room was appalling: windows were impossible to close, TV was constantly frozen, and overall felt very run-down...

Great website not so great reality. The property is need of repairs. They were doing this during my visit. Lots of wood rot and mold. Walls were thin as I could hear neighbors talking next door late into the night. The staff was nice and helpful. Great being in the old town, but also too much hawking for my liking. As soon as you left the lobby there was someone yelling at you and trying to get something from you.

it was an overall good stay , the only official complaint that i have is that one of the check in associates charged me a whole night for an extra guest that was staying only the overnight in my room , the amount was a few dollars short from a room price , and eventhough i thougt the amount was ridiculous , i paid it , next time be more concious about the amount you charge for an extra guest , thank you .

I would give it more stars if I could. The hotel is beautiful- spacious rooms, lovely individually prepared breakfast, good location. But even more important was the gracious staff. Especially Alexa who happily took care of all my needs. If I ever return to beautiful Cartagena I would absolutely stay here and highly recommend to friends. Make sure to meet Alexa!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was extremely nice and very accommodating. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms themselves are very comfortable.
