Provider-sourced guest reviews.
A fantastic hotel with outstanding staff who can't do enough for you. Krisp is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is excellent with a large choice and chef on hand to cook your eggs. Amazing views and walks for an authentic Thailand experience. There's a beautiful coffee shop and bakery on site with very friendly staff. The room was airy, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed , clean . Spacious , food was lovely but above all that the staff couldn't have done enough they were amazing funny kind helpful and attentive we are so happy we are coming back next year . Jibin was also very good at recommending trips and helping us book beautiful days out
Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience – Do Not Book We are a travel agency from Sri Lanka, and we booked a Deluxe Room at Naina Resort for a honeymoon couple. From the moment they arrived, the experience was extremely disappointing. The guests shared a video of the room, and it looked like a basic guesthouse, not a resort. There were serious issues, including air conditioning not working properly, damaged doors, poor cleanliness, bathroom plumbing problems, and even electrical leakage concerns. We immediately contacted the hotel and requested to change the room or provide an upgraded room. However, there was no proper response. The guest also informed the hotel, and they only sent a worker to fix the door temporarily, without addressing the overall condition of the room. In this situation, we made multiple international calls to resolve the issue. The reception staff was very rude, not flexible, and unprofessional. Initially, they asked for 500 THB for a room upgrade. Due to the late evening, we could not ask our guest to move to another hotel, so we tried to arrange a one-night upgrade by paying 500 THB. However, the reception staff refused and insisted that if we wanted an upgrade, we had to pay for the full stay. She strictly maintained her position without any flexibility. As a travel agent, we called many times, but there was no proper support. We requested a refund when they could not provide the upgrade, but this was also refused. Due to this situation, we had to arrange another hotel for our guest at an additional cost. They did not reply to emails, there was no proper communication channel like WhatsApp, and overall coordination was very poor. They clearly do not understand basic hospitality standards and are not maintaining a 4-star level. The operation feels unprofessional and poorly managed. If they treat travel agents this way, individual travelers should be very cautious. We hope it was run by an underworld team or gangsters ⚠️ We strongly advise against making any booking with this property. It is not suitable even for budget travelers. Better to avoid unnecessary trouble and protect your holiday experience.
Great ambiance, views of rice, nature, super clean, quiet rooms, fresh breakfast, delicious, varieties of coffee, sweet, flavorful, great taste, delicious envelope, great opportunity to stay back👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Room was poor broken tile on the floor and the shower had mould and there was no hot water available. We moved to another hotel
We arrived here despite reading the terrible reviews - that was our first mistake. To keep it short and sweet, the room was filthy, the water was dark yellow, the air conditioning didn’t work. We overlooked all this and stayed the first night only to get 3 hours sleep. All night, and I mean from 11pm to 4am there was shouting, screaming and banging from the corridors to the point we went out and challenged them. It turned out it wasn’t one room, it was multiple rooms of different parties and was clearly the norm to just run riot disturbing everyone else. We left 1 night into our 3 night stay and were promised a refund from the staff on reception. Did we ever receive a reply to the refund email? Of course not. Do yourself a favour - swerve this dump.
Only outlook pic is good. Price was not less, very unhyegenic washrooms, lots of mosquitoes, breakfast spread was good but not hyegenic, location - anywhere you want to go and come back - always need to hire taxi 300-400 bhat. A C are small as per room size, so needs 6-7 hours to cool the rooms. Staff - Suman was helpful.
Very good service, clean rooms, delicious food, great atmosphere, ample parking, smiling staff, very clean pool, clear water.
I stayed here for 3 nights. Over all everything were good. Good room with good view. Delicious breakfast. And if the booking is for 1 person for the extra person they do charge 1000THB with breakfast which is reasonable and acceptable. We really had good time. Thanks to Naina Resort and Spa Team.
cx said many times there was issue with the water there was not water to take bath, also. she said called multiple times, but dint get the hair dryer. so my client was not happy.
Everything good and the staffs are friendly. I really don’t know the names but House Keeping staffs, Front office staffs, Food and Beverage Department staffs. They are really helpful, And caring Guest like anything. Be kind then they’ll make your holidays uncomfortable moment. I really experienced it. You can feel it if you’re staying at Naina
An exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel is elegant, spotless, and beautifully designed. The room was spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable, offering everything needed for a perfect stay. The staff provided outstanding service—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is calm and refined. This hotel truly delivers a five-star experience, and I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Our stay at Naina Resort & Spa with friends was enjoyable and relaxing, as the peaceful environment combined with its close proximity to Patong’s busy areas allowed us to enjoy both quiet evenings at the resort and lively outings nearby during our three-night vacation.
This place…Very lovely and very nice place & good time to relax at hotel enjoy 💖🩷 & the staff lovely &. You can walk to any place because nearly by shopping Mall and Patong beach 🏖️🫶🥰 …. Just 10 minutes 😍😎
I, Ektha Kadam, stayed at Naina Resorts, Room 211, for 3 nights. Throughout the stay, we faced continuous issues with locking the room door, and had to leave the keys at reception every time. The chair provided was also wobbly and unsafe. At checkout, we were unfairly charged 200 THB for a pillow cover stain that was already present and clearly old. We do not carry or use hair dye, as claimed by the staff. When we raised this concern, the response at reception was dismissive. Being charged for pre-existing damage feels unfair and unprofessional. Please ensure this does not happen to future guests. Ektha Kadam Room 211
I booked this place for 12 nights and ended up checking out four nights early because the conditions were genuinely unacceptable. I’ve travelled a lot, and this was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve had. Even after changing rooms, both were unsanitary and completely unfit to stay in. We found rat droppings on the floor, and later actually saw a rat inside the room. The bath water ran brown, the bath and shower were dirty, and housekeeping didn’t change the bedsheets – they were literally flipping them over instead. Towels weren’t replaced, the “cleaning” was limited to emptying bins, and several fixtures such as taps and cupboards were loose or broken. When I requested clean bedding, I was told none were available until the following day. There were persistent fly and ant infestations, no hand wash provided (we were actually told to use shower gel), the air conditioner only blew warm air, and the Wi-Fi was extremely weak, even though I confirmed beforehand that I needed a reliable connection for work. The buffet food was poor quality, with flies hovering over the dishes, making it completely unappetising and unhygienic. It’s also worth noting that the hotel was predominantly occupied by guests from one demographic group. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, it did result in us standing out quite noticeably, and we found ourselves being intensely stared at throughout our stay, which made us feel very out of place and uncomfortable. The manager acknowledged how bad the situation was and agreed that we could leave early and be refunded for the unused nights. That alone says everything. This hotel is nowhere near what it advertises online — dirty, poorly maintained, and totally mismanaged. It desperately needs restoration and renovation. Save yourself the stress and do not book here. If you’re debating where to stay in Phuket, I’d strongly recommend choosing Kamala instead of Patong — it’s close by but much neater, calmer, and far less hectic. Despite this horrible experience, Tin, a member of staff, was very supportive and genuinely tried to help resolve the situation — so thank you, Tin.
I had not been here before and booked it due to the great pricing and pics. The service was very good. Jibin the main contact could not have been more hospitable. Every time we saw him he made sure we had everything we needed for our few weeks we were there. It was like you knew him as a friend for years. The pool was a great alternative to the beach. You can walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and stores. The breakfast was included in the stay. It was suitable with many options for a person who isn’t a breakfast person. The cleaning staff were respectful and attentive. Never an issue of worry. The resort is secluded by itself from the main traffic of cars and pedestrians making it quiet and a feeling of being off somewhere special even though you can walk to many places.
We recently stayed at this property and had a very disappointing experience. The water was extremely dirty, making it impossible for us to take a bath. When we contacted the front desk, Mr. Jibin informed us that the issue did not fall under their responsibility and advised us to reach out to the agent, MakeMyTrip. What will MakeMyTrip will do to resolve the water issue. not sure if they will send some plumbers to fix that. No action was taken to resolve the problem. Overall, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
• Slow responses to complaints. My Friends say that when they reported room problems (leaks, plumbing etc.), staff took a long time to fix or did not properly resolve the issue. • Sometimes staff are seen as unhelpful or not proactive. Some complaints about attitude. • Especially, The guy receptionist JIBIN He is totally embarrassing and wasting my time with argue about issue in arrogance
Naina Resort & Spa in Phuket is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations! The resort's beautiful design, serene ambiance, and excellent service made my stay truly unforgettable. I'd like to give a special shoutout to Mr. Jibin Bro, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. His exceptional hospitality, helpful nature, and attention to detail truly made a difference. The resort's location is ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to Patong Beach, markets, and local attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable amenities. We particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast options and the friendly staff. *Excellent Service*: Mr. Jibin exceptional service and guidance made our stay truly special.
One of the worst hotels you’ll ever come across. The staff and executives are completely clueless about their work and seem to wander around aimlessly. I had initially booked a standard room, which they upgraded to a superior room — and while I appreciated that gesture, what followed was nothing short of a nightmare. The washbasin was clogged, the AC wasn’t cooling and instead made loud, disturbing noises with water dripping from it. When I complained, two executives arrived who clearly had no idea what to do — wasting both their time and ours. We were then shifted to another room, only to find the same issues there as well. It seems all their rooms have clogged washbasins, old AC units that barely function, and a complete lack of maintenance. To make matters worse, there was a power cut during our stay for a full hour — with no power backup! Yes, you read that right — no generator, no backup, nothing. The staff remained shockingly casual about it, as if it was no big deal. Every time we raised a concern, their standard excuse was, “You’re paying less, so please bear with it.” I’m sorry, but paying ₹2000 a night is not “less” — it’s someone’s hard-earned money, and guests deserve basic respect and functioning facilities in return.
we stayed here for 6 nights in a superior room. The room was large with loads of hot water and a large bath. We were located in the centre section which is very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is large and the water is clear and clean. There is a bar close to the pool 2 for the price of 1 (beer) from 4-5 pm. this is the fourth time i have stayed here and will again. plenty of places to eat close by. The beach would be a 15 minute walk.
Not a bad hotel, the swimming pool and outside facilities are great and it’s a very pretty hotel from the outside, it’s close to restaurants and takeaways. The room was very tired. Our air conditioning unit didn’t work properly and the shower was awful. It was warm but the bathroom was extremely warm with holes in the ceiling, the bed was 2 beds pushed together, the staff were really helpful and kind. It is a good location for a hotel but the rooms do need a bit of an upgrade,
I highly recommend the room with direct access to the swimming pool. The room has a bathtub, which is very spacious and comfortable. The staff are extremely warm and friendly—Jubb, Jane, Tik, and Boom were all very kind, escorting me to the room and helping with my luggage. I will definitely come back again!
Tik jubb boom nim janeI love tik jubb help full Super service and amazing very nice we will go ahead in. Next time hahavghahahshshh
Good spacious hotel. Stayed for two nights with my mom. Perfect for family stays. Nice greenery, special thanks for girls at the reception Jubb and Tik, they made our check in fast and smooth. Explained everything very well, very kind and hospitable staff.
Amazing place to stay, amazing staff especially Jebin. Helped us out in our stay, rooms extremely clean and hotel very accommodating. Would recommend!!!
Nice resort with view. Room and bathroom was clean. Front of our room there’s paid field and it’s very authentic and very nice. Sound of frog at night so beautiful. Breakfast with view and tasty food. No much choice but it’s yummy. Staff very polite and helpful. Recommended resort
The hotel location is very calm, and the hotel design is very beautiful and recommended for honeymooners. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the administrative staff personnel named Jibin.
Idéalement situé ; parfait pour une remise en forme . Wifi pas bon pour travailler .
It was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accomodating with the requests and available 24*7. Would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to phuket :)
Had a great stay at Naina Resort and Spa! Special thanks to JIBIN , one of the staff members who went above and beyond to help us. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made our experience truly memorable. Highly appreciated!
Great value for money in low season. Had all the amenities we required (pool, gym, air con, food and drinks available). Friendly helpful staff. Room replenished with fresh water bottles and coffee daily upon request. Good atmosphere in the foyer and pool area with entertainment. Very welcoming vibes. Walking distance to everything such as food spots and Bangla Rd. But tucked away in a quiet peaceful spot. Relatively clean, small issues with plumbing maintenance, double bed is two single beds pushed next to each other, but nothing that ruined the stay.
Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs especially jibin to the location of the resort, from the amenities available to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. We hope to revisit Naina resort and spa sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.
Toujours un plaisir d'y séjourner. On y est au calme et le personnel est attentif aux demandes. J'ai eu cette fois l'occasion de louer un scooter pour 2 jours. J'ai retournerai certainement encore une fois.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.... The pool was nice and large; the place was clean enough; and I really enjoyed eating on the busy street nearby that had some cool bars.... Moreover, the breakfast was very good with a really good-looking & well-designed restaurant! The restaurant's location across the parking lot from the hotel made it accessable and a really nice spot to eat the well-stocked breakfast buffet albeit feeling a bit guilty as tough dudes were practicing Muay Thai boxing across from breakfast in a large boxing gym. Although a bit dated, the hotel IS a good value....Not too far from crazy Bangla Street and the two large air-conditioned malls...but you may want to take a Grab or Tuk Tuk as it is about a 20-25 minute walk. Probably a 15 minute walk from the beach but one needs to be careful as there are some busy & confusing crosswalks on the way that are heavy with speedy traffic.... But did I mention the delicious breakfast? : ) OK -- The only real negative for me was the bed! They took took two full-matresses and put them together joining with king-sized sheets. Therefore, they would always split apart. This made sex with my girlfriend somewhat difficult. : ( Notwithstanding, the matresses WERE ROCK HARD. If they had a normal comfortable king-sized bed that would have made the 3-star room a 4-star room....Finally, the gym was a bit laughable and possibly the only other negative. The gym was also outside so too hot to exercise during most days... Otherwise, not a bad hotel!
Horrible. Worst ever Hotel Stay. Pathetic. Cheaters. Fraud Spoiled our vacation. We had a booked a so called 3BHK Villa. The booking was done through MakeMyTrip.com. Check-in dates 3rd Feb to 5th Feb 2025 for a family of 5. First of all this so called Villa is not listed on Naina Resort Website. This is an erstwhile shady spa centre converted into a villa kind which was offered as accommodation. The Management is cheat and shameless for offering such kind of accommodation and must be reported. I request an action to be taken We arrived in late on 3rd February and after a tiring journey expected a lovely accom. This shady place must not have been used for several months. It was not clean, there were lizards, mosquitoes, rats and insects all over. There was foul smell in all washrooms. Pathetic and shameless of the Naina resort Management to even offer such accommodation. There is only one such Villa. We paid a bomb of around INR40,000 for 2 nights which was not refunded. We checked with the reception for change of rooms. However, they denied stating the hotel is fully booked. This was a total loss This cheat management later reported to Makemytrip that they had offered us a change of rooms and that we didnt accept that. We had to spend another 3 hours looking for another hotel accommodation and had to pay additional amount. Phuket Toursim Authorities should take a note of this and take appropriate action. This is a fraud and cheat management. Circulate it as much as possible. Will put it on social media everywhere
Confort et propreté désastreux. Du bruit chaque soirée . Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel
This hotel we booked at a very premium price but our trip got cancelled due to some medical emergency . These people agreed to refund but later we kept following- completely denied their own words over email. The other two hotels were very accommodating. You must not book a place if it doesn’t honour its own words Thanks
POOR SERVICE Pros - Only The property is good in looks. Cons- - The hotel doesn't even provide basic things like toothbrush - No lock in washroom - I asked for hand towels They sent very late after saying 2 times - Everything here is paid. Not even basic things are free. - Room service is pathetic
The rooms are dirty. Even the pillows or duvet had stains most of the time. The location is bad. The staff at reception is rude especially the female manager. I would never come back to this hotel, one of the worst ones out there. Photos not like on here so they must have a good photographer...
Best Aspects: 1. Location: • Conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Patong Beach and Bangla Walking Street. • Close to Indian restaurants, making it ideal for those craving familiar cuisine. • Situated in a peaceful area, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. • Nearby markets provide access to fresh and high-quality fruits. • Proximity to a boxing club adds an entertaining option for visitors. 2. Resort Ambience: • The ambience was exceptional, offering a serene, nature-inspired vibe. • A beautifully designed resort that deserves a 5/5 rating for its atmosphere. 3. Food: • We opted for the breakfast package, which was quite good. • I’d rate the breakfast 4/5 for its quality and variety. Worst Aspects: 1. Room Quality: • The air conditioning in our room was faulty, with water dripping every time it was turned on. Despite raising the issue with the staff, the only solution offered was placing a towel to soak up the water—nothing more was done to fix the problem. 2. Lack of Basic Amenities: • The room lacked essential amenities like a dental kit, comb, slippers, or any standard hotel provisions. • Surprisingly, there was no menu card or guide on how to contact the reception, which is a basic expectation in most hotels. • Instead, the room prominently displayed a “penalty card” listing charges for misplaced items, such as a 500 Thai Baht fine for losing the AC remote. It felt odd and unwelcoming to see such a list inside the room. Hotel Staff: • While not all staff were the same, the majority had an unwelcoming attitude, often making faces when we asked or requested something. It didn’t feel like they genuinely cared about guest satisfaction, and we were made to feel like mere money machines rather than valued tourists. • For instance, I requested my food to be reheated, and they immediately charged 50 Thai Baht for it. It seemed like any small request came with an additional charge, which felt unreasonable and unaccommodating. Overall, Thailand is a fantastic destination for tourists, offering a lot to explore and enjoy. However, I would suggest that authorities work towards regulating prices more effectively. Scams and overcharging are common, with vendors often asking for arbitrary amounts for various services, which can dampen the overall experience.
Property needs an update, nothing compared to the photos. Nothing works!! Definately not what i expected from the photos very disappointed.
My girlfriend and i stayed here and we was very disappointed. We immediately noticed the air-conditioning was bad and the toilet wasn't flushing (no water connected) we told the room and they fixed the toilet but said the air-conditioning needs time to work.. i know very well thats not the case but waited anyway, after being told 9 times to wait 15 minutes i complained (had people in and out the room when we just wanted to relax and take a cold shower and enjoy the cool air) they finally change our room to another but that room had a lot of damage in it. I feel i should have not paid for this stay it was horrible. Also for some smart reasons they're growing rice outside the rooms and near the pond/bar restaurant. This brought a massive amount of mosquitoes in the rooms and around the area, you couldn't sit outside and enjoy the seating area. If you like quiet i would avoid it has a tahi kickboxing stadium on its grounds behold half of the rooms. Lucky it was notnin use on a Sunday so we didn't hear anything but its so close you wouldn't get any peace and quiet. The staff was very rude and very unhelpful. They upset my girlfriend too (she is thai, and they was rude to her a few times when trying to resolve the room issue) avoid this place and its bad staff
Wonderful location in heart of Patong. Very calm and clean and relaxing place. Highly recommend. The rooms are clean daily and staff is helpful and friendly.
It is a hotel that has clever angled photos. The reality is not as good as the photos suggest. The hotel is situated far from the beach and the pool is on the edge of a busy parking lot with urban hovels surrounding the property. The rice paddy photos are seasonal. Out of season the property just has mud pits in front of the rooms and throughout the site.
Loved it here! Just under 2 weeks, had a deluxe pool view room, but bathroom was very dark so couldn’t see in the wardrobe... Perfect location for everything (if you do the trips normally you’ll get picked up last and dropped home first) The Thai Boxing Stadium is on site and provided 1-1 Muay Thai training lessons and watch the fighting (do the VIP seating) Pool was clean and always nice temperature, the breakfast was standard and open early so you could eat before any trips! Would definitely recommend!
This property was inexpensive to stay at but I found it to be fine. The boxing gym next door had fight nights on and there wasn't any noise and we were in the part of the hotel directly next door. The only problem was that the air con leaked but after the first night we put the garbage under it to catch the water and then all was ok it only leaked for a short amount of time once each night. We didn't go to breakfast, but happy hour was good. Staff are very friendly. It is about a 15 min easy walk to Juncelyon Bangala Road and the Beach. Would definitely stay there again.
To much noise from the air condition. We could not sleep
Hard to communicate with majority of the staff made simple requests difficult Room was nice, pool only shallow
This was a lovely spacious hotel room; it had everything you could possibly need in the room, even umbrellas. We also had a microwave, which was a good addition, my partner and I loved that we were able to warm up our food. On our arrival we did notice some mosquitos. Location was great if you liked Muay Thai, because the boxing ring was literally on the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel was in a great area in terms of shops and street food. The walk to Bangalore road/main shops etc. was a 15-20 minute walk. The only complaint we had was the shower and water in the bathroom not working, a few times we went to have a shower and no water coming out, and when it did it came out it was cold and very slow (no power), we then tested the taps and shower and the same thing happened. We called reception and they sent a repair/maintenance man, not quite sure if we should call him a maintenance man, because he switched the tap on and off and said it was working and left, no water pressure was checked or an attempt to try and fix it. The swimming pool facilities were great and snacks were available to purchase. We did find the deposit fee to be quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand.
The first day we arrived there was no one to help with bags. No lifts and if you are above average in height goodluck with the shower. Breakfast on the first day was shocking had to call the manager and ask if she would be happy if she was eating there. 2 people helping 1 was making omlettes for 10 people. The food buffet was empty and only after complaining did they fill it up. The 2nd day was better but maybe cause we were there at 7am
The guy that transported us to patong beach was very rude. Not being helpful at all. Our room smell musty, not clean. Lighting was bad. Need more lighting in room and a mirror at the table.
The resort appeared beautiful from the outside with a stunning pool but I was shocked with the quality of the rooms. We arrived late and slept on the most uncomfortable hard bed. There were also loud carts that passed by our patio all night. We requested to switch rooms the next day. At the front desk we explained the noisy night we had and the two ladies were just talking amongst themselves. I said “hello can you please listen to us”. It was very disrespectful. We got to our new room & the bed was comfier. We were told housekeeping would fix the bed. However, I was shocked that both rooms had no soap to wash our hands with. We had to use the shower gel they provided. We also thought it was odd how we went to the front desk to ask for water and they couldn’t just charge it to the room. They walked with us back up to the room to make sure we would pay.
Room was great, a little bit older but still really nice and spacious. It was nice to have robes and slippers, as well as beach towels and a beach bag. The place is very beautiful. There is also a free shuttle to Patong beach which was great!
Not a bad place to stay, clean room, staff at front desk is overwhelmed by so many guests, we we’re suppose to have breakfast buffet when we checked in but the next day we we’re told that it wasn’t included., we had to argue with front desk for about 40 minutes & they finally told us to go ahead go and eat for that day, then Hotels.com told me later after so many messages back & forth with hotel staff that our stay did not include breakfast..but when we checked in they said it was included so did my paperwork. Muay Thai gym is right next door so got a workout in but after bitter experience with hotel hotel staff being unprofessional I wouldn’t be staying at this place again.
Took a long to to check in as, there was a few customers arguing about being over charged. Also any extra services I.E taxis where double the price then outside the hotel resort
It’s a very nice hotel comparing with highly attractable price. It’s very quiet, clean and comfortable resort. They provide very good massage too! New staffs in front desk should be trained better.
Great facilities ok location and great staffs
Rooms were big, clean and modern. Quiet area however just steps away from many different restaurants.
Was not far from patong Phuket town, lovely hotel restaurant and room , highly recommended x thanks
Staff didnt speak much english. Tried to charge for glass which room service took out and didnt bring back saying we broke it. Charged me for a towel as some hair dye from my hair had got on it. (Washable) happens at home. I dont buy new towels each time i dye my hair.
Lovely hotel and excellent reception staff especially Nut and Ni Ny very helpful! Highly recommend a visit to the Spa I have had many spa treatments in the past and nothing comes near to the treatments provided by Khae, lovely lady and very professional a Spa visit is a must if your staying here!
The hotel staff were lovely but depending who was on the front desk some spoke little to no English and we found it difficult to communicate with them sometimes. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff really went above and beyond and the surrounding views were breathtaking. The Spa was possibly the best part of the hotel and the staff in there are very professional and generally lovely people, we had a foot scrub, full body scrub and aromatherapy massage. All were very relaxing and we left feeling rejuvenated. The room facilities were great, the beds were really comfy, beach towels, dressing gowns, and flip flops provided. Unfortunately they didn't replace the toilet paper very often. Rooms were cleaned daily to a great standard. The Wifi was an issue, only one device per room allowed to connect at one time with the room username and password given which wasn't useful when there are two people sharing a room. Despite the few disappointing aspects the hotel overall was good and would stay again.
Original room, AC broken, told staff, hours later and nothing done. Bathroom smelt like a sewer. 40minutes of different staff coming in and out to look at problems, insisted we stay in this room despite the smell. Eventually moved rooms but they were not happy about it. In the new room the shower was broken, either no hot water or it would be boiling and very dangerous! Bar man offers food when around pool, tried to overcharge us for this and stated price on menu was not updated despite us refusing to pay they said staff would have this taken from their wages which made us feel very guilty and uncomfortable even though it was not our fault and pretty sure it was just a scam for extra money! After this every staff member completely ignored us for the rest of our stay. Staff also used our patio area as their social area, sitting talking at all hours despite us clearly being in the room! Construction going on everywhere. Checked out 3 days early. Whole place is run down, tatty and the surrounding area is filthy with rats everywhere.
We absolutely loved this place! The location was nice because it was away from the party scene. It had a great pool and and the staff was wonderful. They were very helpful when booking tours and giving us information. This place is right next to a MuayThai boxing stadium and saw some great fights there. I would defiantly stay there again if I were traveling in this are.
The resort is designed in country side style with rice fields in front of the terrace style rooms. So be prepared to hear sometimes the sound of nature (frogs) in the evening. The rooms are kind of bungalow style with terrace glass door entry. Our room looked a bit dark but ok. I am very sensitive to the hardness of the bed because of back pain and found the bed is typical Asian style (very firm). Asked at reception even after10pm to make the bed more soft, a staff came only a few minutes later and added some covers under the sheets and also the next day they added more. Was still not perfect for me but acceptable. English language skills at reception could improve. Got charged for an extra person to be with me in my room, which I find very unusual as I book the room and not as in Europe book and pay per person. During the booking process at Orbitz there is no way to change that unless you book also flights for 2 people - that was a turn off. All in all - since it was after season it was very quiet and the stay was ok for this price class
Lovely hotel with a great bar and pool and in a great location! Room was very nice, and available to check in even though we were a couple of hours early! The spa was beautiful and we both enjoyed a massage there. Only two small niggles - the WiFi signal was quite poor and couldn’t have two of us using it at the same time; toilet roll wasn’t replaced when the room was cleaned for the 3 nights we were there and we ended up buying our own. Overall, a really lovely hotel, I would recommend to anyone!
Room was good for the price paid per night. Pool was great, The buffet breakfast supplied was fantastic, The main problem for us was they were bit light on toilet paper each day for us westerners that choose not to use a hose.
Everythings is perfect
Grand deluxe room was excellent! Would not stay anywhere else. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Looking forward to returning next February. Thanks Naina.
The location is good if you want to experience thai boxing (gym and stadium next door). The hotel gives on a car park not a rice plantation. The pool is nice and quite big. I previously booked standard bedroom and it seems I was upgraded without being tol which was nice. The staff told me the managment changed and I actually experienced the standard bedroom. The room is ok, the bathroom tiny and quite smelly. The hotel is extremely noisy, I was waken up every morning at 7 by either people walking, staff having conversation, etc... For the same price I think you can definitely have better in Patong
Overall, it is a nice hotel but breakfast can be improved.
Arrived at hotel after choosing from the photo of stunning pool and Thai hotel building, got there and found it nothing like the photo, complained to management, was promised a refund and still waiting after 3 weeks, booked another hotel and left without staying at the hotel. Don't stay here
for the price we paid the hotel was very nice and the pool was amazing ..the staff were always friendly and accommodating and the bed was the biggest we have ever seen for a standard room ...overall it was quiet and very peaceful
very good we were taken good care of which made us to prolong our stay for another three days
I enjoyed my stay but if you want to be near the action of Patong consider elswhere.I would recomend for children
When we arrived they told us we had been upgraded. Our room was right beside the pool, and the room was very nice. Nice big bathtub separate from the shower. About 12 minute walk from the beach.
Amazing buildings and rooms, gorgeous pool and bar area. The only down fall was the restaurant across the road it was over priced and the food was quite average. Some staff spoke limited English but overall we were able to get what we were after in the end. Lovely cocktails by the pool! Short 15min walk to beach very easy to get to, but the hotel it's self is quiet and peaceful tucked around the corner off the main road. I would definitely go back!
Stayed at naina for 10 nights staff were non exsistent most times had to wait at least 20 mins at bar if wanted a beer. Woken most mornings with people coming in at 3 or 4 am slamming doors yelling pool is pretty average waist high at deepest end warm as. There are much better options out there.
I booked the cheapest bedroom in this hotel and I have to say I was happily surprised. The bedroom is big and the deco is nice, with flat screen on the wall. The bathroom is so so but acceptable. Staff are friendly. The swimming pool is quite big but it is on the side of the huge carpark. For the location, it depends what people need and want. The hotel is a little bit far from the beach by walking distance but still ok. It is very convenient for people that want to go to the boxing gym next door. Overall the hotel is nice, not fanstastic. But the quality for the value is quite good. For that price there is nothing to complain about. Small point: the wifi was not detected in the bedroom
Had to change room, aircon sounded like a washing machine running , 2nd room good but a smaller and not so nice room. Apart from a dodgy aircon unit everything else was very good , staff extremely helpful
We had a really nice stay. Ecstatic about our room upgrade as well. Highly recomended
IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A TOP NOTCH FANCY HOTEL, THEN THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU. BUT IF YOU WANT A CHEAP AND GOOD HOTEL, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.
There is nothing nice to say about the room we had.
Had a great time. Met really nice people. The resort was nice. Quiet location. All the staff were nice. Except reception staff could be friendlier.
They are very nice people to bad they can't speak English , food is always spicy even if that's say is not :)
Hotel is very close to everything i would definitely go back.
Location, pool, breakfast and roon were great. However our kettle blew, we were evacuated for 2 hours and then they tried to charge us for the kettle! Our air conditioner kept leaking. Our key opened our neighbors door. So if you care about your valuables and money, look elsewhere! But dodgy.
Rooms booked were not ready even by 3pm. Waited over an hour till 4pm and many others were waiting too, When we finally got our rooms, it wasnt what we had stated as 1 single king size bed but 2 separate beds. Both rooms we booked were wrong on this. We didnt went back to request a change as the staffs are pretty rude, so, no point offending them, Other than that everything is quite normal and fair. Oh, the entrance to the hotel is pretty much hidden and if you drive as we did, make sure you drive slowly just before the entrance or you will definitely miss it as we did for the first few times.
This was an Hotel on a budget but was better than my experience of previous budget hotels. Any hiccup was dealt with courteously and quickly. My 2 gripes are that my internet would go off overnight from between 11PM and 1AM and not be available until 8AM the next morning when the maintenance staff started work, something that I have experienced on previous trips to Thailand, and that there was little choice of English for included breakfast, but one must remember that this is a resting place for people of many nationalities. On the whole I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay of 20 days and is well set back off the road so no traffic noises.
This hotel was a home away from home for my partner & I during our 6 night stay in Phuket. I cannot begin to describe the ways the staff went above and beyond to look after us, from booking our tours, taxis, looking after our luggages, cleaning our room daily (& spotless as well), and not to mention room upgrades! All staff members were lovely, from reception to cleaners to service members to restaurant staff. Although it was around a 15 min walk to Patong Beach / Bangla Rd, it was well worth it to have a resort escape.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room was very standard but big enough. The pool is beautiful and massive. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere inside and out. The staff were friendly and easy to understand. The hotel is in a great location, it's right next door to boxing. It is only a 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely visit again, it's great value for money.
After reading the reviews of some Expedia guests of naina I quickly realized the naina resort gives the same rooms to Expedia guests each time and yeah they are the ones that you would be asking yourself whether it was better value using Expedia unless you luck an upgrade. We didn't unfortunately even though we asked. If you are a guest and get given room 535 it's the room that many Expedia quests have commented on that the water doesn't clear from the sink and the WiFi doesn't work. It's a room I think is reserved for Expedia bookings. If you look at the deal we got then it worked out roughly sixty a night for five nights. Now I don't know where the savings were in that because if you walked in off the street like I observed some do then it's thirty a night per person. Well that's what we paid supposedly with special member privileges. I really liked the staff though that helped me a lot get some messages scanned and emailed which took some doing given the Internet was variable and sometimes non existent. It's budget and felt like a back packer feel with limited attention to comforts. If you sleep on the floor then you will appreciate the beds. Very hard. I enjoyed the holiday from the location as just down the road the motor bike taxi would take you straight down to the beach strip and coming home late you didn't have to be quiet as Noone else was. Very noisy corridors when people passed through them or vocalise in their many forms. It's not a place to meditate in. :)
