The Hotel is very good and the staff was so nice and helpful!
God service og pænt/rent
I like that was nice. Great location.
One direction was beautiful and stunning, but make one wrong turn and your in an area that makes you feel very uncomfortable
Rinnovato recentemente ma zero insonorizzazione tra le camere e si sentono rumori su strada. Poca privacy. Vicino Barbès zona non proprio sicura.
Good location - fan in room - pleasant staff - decent breakfast. Bit cramped - no lock on toilet door in the room.
The property was freshly decorated and you could tell. However the lift is tiny - and I’m 4ft10! This could not accommodate someone who is much more built and tall. There was only enough space for my feet and small carry on. The door passages, stair way, bathroom are very narrow as other reviewers have pointed out. I was pleased with the male receptionist, he was polite. On my last day I had to shower with cold water, this definitely woke me up! The tv in my room didn’t work however it didn't make an effort to get it seen to.. on the plus side there was a fan on the ceiling.
This hotel closed until next spring. I hope the hotel will be better.
Great place to stay, but rooms are slightly smaller than expected. No air conditioning but have us a fan.
We paid extra for a junior Suite and two people with two pieces of luggage. Each average size could not fit in this room. We even paid extra for the larger room. It was really beat up and not clean. The hotel needs a refresh.
atmosphere
The Superior Double Room with Balcony was simple but exactly what we needed. It was very accessible by metro and we loved walking around the surrounding areas. However, we had some issues with the air conditioner, shower drain, and telephone in the room. We notified the front desk about the air conditioner and shower drain multiple times and were not able to get these issues resolved. The air conditioner wasn't a big issue because the temperature was mild, however, the problems with the shower drain were frustrating. Hopefully the hotel is able to resolve this problem before future guests check into the room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would likely book again if the above issues are fixed.
This hotel was very quaint. Front desk staff friendly. Elevator can not fit a large suitcase and a person. Room was tiny, bathroom barely had enough space to get past the sink to the toilet. Very hot in the room. They do provide a fan, but the window barely opened.
A very reasonable price for a well located perfectly acceptable (if not a little ‘run down’) budget hotel. Nicely placed for Metro, Sacre Couer, good nearby eateries.
Seriously great, the staff are really nice and everything was super clean. I don’t usually write reviews so this was good !
I love this property 1 for location and easy access to everything, shops, dining, metro, tourist sites, etc... the staff is very friendly and helpful, its a great location , only thing I can say is that maybe they need to update the carpets but other than that I love it here... staff is great
Carpets looked worn and dirty. Room needed updated. Net curtains dirty looking at bottom. Shower tiny space. The dinning area was nice and reception staff good.
2 night stay in Paris. Quiet and comfortable hotel rea.ly enjoyed it here friendly staff
Book this if you simply need a place to sleep and bathe. Rooms are super tiny, but a fan is provided to help with the temp
Hotel was amazing and staff excellent. The location to Montmartre was excellent. The actual area of the hotel was the only concern.
Hotel location was ok to get around. Room was basic, dated but clean. We were over the reception which was fine but the noise during the night from people Living on the street was very noisy
Small but comfortable hotel in an iconic Haussmann building just off a main road. Close to Metro line 4 Château Rouge and only a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord. Good location for the Sacre Coeur and Montmatre. The lift can take one average sized adult plus one large bag and is perfectly fine. Decent breakfast run by friendly and helpful member of staff. Hot and cold drinks are available all day and were much appreciated.
Had two great nights stay self serving to tea, hot chocolate or coffee any time staff always available and can come and go as you please you
The rooms were small (which was expected) but almost too small for 2 people to comfortably move around in. We had 2 rooms - only one had AC - the other did not and was uncomfortable. Hotel Internet was OK - had to work out the allocations for devices as it was not as open as other hotels. Breakfast was good - continental assortment with hot items (eggs/sausage). Not familiar with the area when booked - would not book again for this area. Transportation was convenient.
Our experience at this hotel was awesome. The staff are exceptional and went above and beyond to assist my Mum and I on vacation. Food recommendations, pharmacy, supermarkets, bus routes, you name it. I can't thank the staff enough. They found my Mum a great doctor when she felt unwell and allowed us to check out later to accommodate us booking an unexpectedly early flight home. Special thanks to Jaan, Nadia and Romaine for being amazing.. Thank you so much!
Great
We got the room with a balcony and it was fabulous! It has AC, it was clean and quite. It was the perfect room for two nights in Paris. It was a five minute walk to the Metro station and the staff were fabulous! I can't recommend this hotel enough!
It was very cute and a wonderful size for our stay. Everyone there was very accommodating, and helped us find wonderful restaurants to eat at. The only thing I’ll note is that as an American, we were not used to leaving the window open at night, which would not have been a problem, but the street was very loud. We noted that it was much louder than the streets in other neighborhoods.
The staff was really nice and the hotel was very clean I would stay here again 😊
We really enjoyed our time. The front office staff was very friendly and offered help when we needed it.
It’s not bad
All the receptionists were lovely and helpful, however the rooms themselves were not of grest value, good if only for a short stay.
The staff were helpful and friendly, taking our bags early. The room was smaller than expected, in the pictures the smallest room you could still access the bed from each side which we couldn't The bathroom was tiny and squashed in, I couldn't use the toilet without having the door open and couldn't fit my shoulders in the gap so leaning forward The tv was broken only a couple of channels worked, fan was broken in the room, no tea or coffee in rooms but apparently due to covid. The rooms carpet had a lot of stains, could do with plugs near the bed, a mirror on the desk/dressing table Good location for travelling around, was fine for one night but wouldn't stay any longer
Very nice staff, clean hotel. Very small room. Could really use air conditioning very hot.
Such nice staff! Great location and price!
Was there for business. Patches of damp in the room. It's an old Parisian building so put it down to as much. Lift is tiny and doesn't fill one with confidence. Most frustrating was the unwillingness of staff to provide hot water to the room. All I wanted was tea in bed without having to venture down to the lobby so
Very quaint - staff were lovely and the location was perfect. Not too touristy (which I love) and was close to stations so we could get around easily. Fantastic place, would recommend for couples or single travellers.
The neighborhood it was in was not the nicest but the hotel and staff made up for it! Although the room was a little small, you could not beat the price we got. The hotel staff spoke English so that helped a lot and were very friendly. The metro was a 2-minute walk and got us from place to place so that was very convenient. There were multiple bars, bakeries, and restaurants that were nearby and really good. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I visit again.
Great service from an amazing staff. Hotell room was nice and cosy, a spot on 3 star room. Free coffee in the reception between 11-11, must say the elevator/lift has be the smallest lift I have ever been in, but it all is a bit of the charm of Paris. The location is great, not in centre of Paris, but only 3 minutes walk to the Metro and within minutes you are down smack in the middle of Paris. We did walk from the hotel to city centre, a really nice walk although a bit cold due to it being December! haha. The staff really makes this hotel stand out, absolutely amazing. Speaking English, Spanish and German!
Expensive for what it was but big capital cities are getting like that. Very friendly welcome, easy to access from the metro station, quiet and reasonably comfortable. But perhaps the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in with a lift tucked in between the tight circular staircase which was only just big enough for me and a small staircase. If you’re happy with no frills, this will do just fine for a night or so.
Staff was very nice and helpful good customer service 👍
good clean hotel, lovely staff. good choice of bars and restaurants in the local area
The check in staff was friendly. Staff was always willing to help with any questions. Would definitely stay here again
Staff was helpful, was a very bad area and far from de main area, no air conditioning, the elevator was for 1 person, the close metro station was around drugs dealers
The hotel is a just few minutes walking from Gare du Nord and the Sacre Cour. If you want to stay near the train station but surrounded by good restaurants and far from the chaos is a good option. The receptionist staff is really supportive, however the kitchen staff is always like in bad mood and the breakfast was not all ready on time. Please be aware that this hotel don’t have A/C.
This hotel has its own pros and cons. Pros: 1. Great location: Subway is about 1 mnt walk and you can reach to all places to visit via the same. Very close to sacré-cœur. Nearby great restaurants. 2. 24 hours check-in: It helped cause we checked in very late in the night due to flight (around 1 am). 3. 24 hours open shops nearby 4. Beds are comfortable and cosy. Cons: 1. No restaurant in hotel: There is no lunch/dnr food service in the hotel. u have to go out to buy the same. If you don't know french, can be a bit hectic to understand what do you want to order. 2. Room 112: Its on the ground floor and its not a proper room. We have to request for a room change. 3. Bathrooms: very narrow, can be a bit of trouble. 4. Elevators: no secret, but it can carry only one person at a time without your luggage.
The hotel room was ok, not as expected as shown in picture but was manageable. Staff member were friendly and accommodating. General access to facilitate was ok.
Un hotel cómodo y con gente amable. Esta muy buen situado sientes que estás en paris. Lo súper recomiendo no tengan miedo en quedarse ahí por el precio muy bueno y su gente súper amable. Espero regresar
Nice and clean . Great location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was cheap however, could have been a little more elaborate.
Loved our stay in this hotel! We had the cutest little balcony too
Room and bathroom were small but clean. Bathroom well finished but not much room between sink and loo - would not be suitable for larger guests. Would book again
Pro: close to metro station and mont marte Con: world's smallest elevator - only fits one person at a time. Not very sound proof.
Much smaller than expected (but we experienced that all over Europe). Tiny one person elevator to get to your floor which was kinda claustrophobic. Small bathroom. Staff was great!
Adorable breakfast area, very friendly and accommodating staff! Would definitely stay in again.
The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, very lovely, and helpful however our room was very very dark as it only had 2 lamps and no main light, and much smaller than expected. The staff tried to change our room but unfortunately it was fully booked for the duration of our stay!
Room was not as advertised - much smaller.
as a lone traveller in paris, i was happy to have a room and bathroom fully stocked with toiletries, something uncommon in euopean hotels. one night my neighbours decided to have a domestic disturbence but tbe syaff was quick to shut this down. only downside was that i booked this hoyel because they offered free coffee, sometimes when i went to grab a cup it was cold coffee. overall, this place was great. 5 min walk to the sacre couer and 1 min from a subway station. would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is in a good location and priced recently, however I got the superior room and it was highly disappointing. It was on the ground floor so there was constantly noise, the refrigerator was so loud, and the windows didn't allow in any sunlight. If I knew I was paying extra for just a little sad outside "terrace" (more aptly named an outdoor cell) I would have just booked a regular room. On top of it all, the cleaning service didn't give any extra soap or shampoo every day. Very annoying!
Location is great but room was so tidy. In total for this kind of money is fine!
Very well connected by Metro - only 12 minutes from the train station to the hotel entrance! Restaurants are nearby and super markets as well. Good wifi connection and hot water in the shower!!
We love the elevator! !!! Excellent service from the manager Arthur and his his staff. Thank you very much for the hospitality!
For the price, the hotel was not a good deal as I’ve stayed in better for cheaper. My room was very very small, had cracks in the wall and the walls themselves were paper thin. (Could hear my neighbour listening to Taylor Swift at 1am) The elevator is tiny and I could just about fit myself and my suitcase inside. However despite the few upgrades that are needed, the staff were friendly and helpful, the metro is a 2 min walk and a small supermarket is close by. Also the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. I’d be quite happy to stay here again on my next trip.
good location- 20 mins walk from rail station & some lovely bars/restaurants in close proximity- only 34 rooms in hotel with the smallest lift ever!!! i could not use this as too confined- but hotel is old & i understand that certain modifications are not possible- great little local bar next door with very helpful owner & good prices- hotel does not have a bar!! You can take your own drink in but not the same....staff at breakfast very slow & rude at times...always waiting for food
A very conveniently placed hotel 2 metro stops or 20 mins walk from gare du Nord. Recently renovated, it is compact but all you need for a few nights in the city. There are lots of nice cafes near by to grab some food or watch the world go by like a true Parisian
This is a very small hotel with the smallest elevator I’ve ever seen ( max. 2 persons or 1 person and a carryon suitcase) but we were grateful for that rather than just a staircase. The room was very small too and if you’re more than about 170 pounds, there would’nt be enough space to move between the sink and the toilet. Hot breakfast was nice but the part about staying here was the staff. Jean Francois, Aurora and Yan were attentive and very helpful in guiding us to our destinations while Mohammed warmly catered to us at breakfast. Location was good being close to public transportation, Monmartre and Sacre Coeur Basilica. Would stay here again.
Hotel was convenient however room was hot, no air conditioning, only a small table fan. Fridge did not work, Ants crawled on the walls. Lift could only take 1 item of luggage at a time or 1 person. And I was on the 4th floor. In the hassle of getting things down, one of my bags was stolen in the hotel, cleaner (who I presumed would be trust worthy) were not and said "They did not see it" and the staff seemed very casual about the fact that my items were stolen. I was stunned.
Carpet stunk! Old rooms! Tiny bathroom!
Bed was too hard for my liking and no air conditioning in the room. The hotel was great, nice people, helpful, quiet hotel. I didn’t eat the breakfast. Great location close to the train. The lift was very small! Maybe I’m just not used to that!
we had the best time at hotel Boronali. The staff was so helpful with directions and suggestions! The location was perfect. the cutest cafes, restaurants, bars, and the metro just outside! We cant wait to come back again!
Great location and lovely staff. Well connected by public transport and lots of local eateries nearby.
This hotel is exactly what they advertise- historic without air conditioning (take a battery fan), close to metro & restaurants as well as a budget hotel.
There was no A/C but besides that it was great. Close to great restaurant as well. The staff was friendly
Great hotel with metro and supermarket within 5 mins walk. Very helpful staffs. Room was very clean. I requested for a room not facing the street, and staff helped with my request, thank you so much! I will definitely stay here again.
VERY small room. Was actually hard to sit on the toilet with the sink being practically on top of it. No AC or fan. VERY hot humid, and no air coming in the windows. Carpet very dirty, but bathroom and bed was clean at least.
We booked this hotel because of the location (close to the train station) and it was fairly good value. The area seemed a bit rough, however no one bothered us. The room was small, there was no air-conditionig, so we had to open the window a lot, even though the noise from the street was horrendous. The room looked very tired and grubby, bed sheets and towels were ok, but the carpet, wardrobe, bathroom etc all need to be replaced. The room wasn’t nice at all, we asked for a different one, but we were told they were fully booked... Wouldn’t stay there again.
I spent four nights in this hotel. After a dinner with colleagues we were able to have a good and quiet meeting in the breakfast room near the lobby. When leaving I forgot one phone and the people called me to arrange the sending of it to my place in Switzerland
We got to stay here for an amazing price! Very easy to get to 2 metro stops but I would advise using Rue de Clingnancourt instead of Rue Labat (sketchy street) to get to the 4 train. The staff was always very pleasant to us and let us keep our luggage there after we checked out. Having a mini fridge in the room was a plus. Not having AC was kind of a bummer, but the windows open and we got a nice breeze. They do have a lift for your luggage, and really that’s all it will hold lol. Oh and a heads up, the walls are paper thin... we could hear our upstairs neighbors go at it... a lot.
Fantastic stay at Hotel Boronali. Very good location and felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 2 minutes from a Metro station which is very convinient and the rooms was very clean and well presented. Would highly recommend!
Hotel was ok, two major dings included broken elevator and spotty cleaniness which leaves it to desired very likely due to age of hotel.
The hotel was fine. I only stayed the one night.
The Hotel staff was very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. We chose this hotel based on location. It was very easy to find from RER Gard du Nord and then transfer to Chateau Rouge station, maybe a two minute walk .We always felt safe and came in at night as well as day. Great location to explore Montmartre and good base to explore rest of Paris. Very simple and small European rooms but clean and staff is wonderful. We are so happy we stayed there. Will stay again.
VERY helpful staff who went out of their way to assist me during my stay. Comfortable, clean single room which was bigger than I expected. Very close to the Chateau Rouge metro station, making it easy to get around Paris. Would avoid walking from Gare du Nord to the hotel alone at night - just get on the metro! Overall a great stay.
Horrible hotel staff, very rude. Found ants in the room. And dirty panties under my bed that were not mine! Overall they should close the place down.
Would recommend!!
I chose the hotel for location more than any other reason but was never-the-less inspired to book based on other peoples reviews. In the main the stay was fine, the room was quite small ( expected ) access to small wardrobe and shower just a little tricky ( both room users erring on the thin side I imagine it would be very difficult for large people. Beds ( Twin ) very small but never-the-less comfortable. What made the stay pretty good was the superb service, advice and guidance provided by the team including the manager which was nothing short of excellent. These people have been well trained offering a warm and genuine service. This aligned with the hotel being perfect for access to many places in central Paris, just two stops on the Metro from Gar Du Nord will ensure that I ( We ) will not hesitate to use the hotel again when visiting Paris next in March 18. Michael Turner
Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Not noisy at night. Bed very comfortable. Free Wifi. Two Metro stations very close by. Lovely and helpful staff. I would stay again.
Everyone there was lovely and helpful - above & beyond!
First we stayed in room 404 and the wifi was so weak that most of the time it won't even connect or show up in the list of available networks. And when it did connect, the download speed averaged only 0.87mbps and upload 0.19mbps, so was unusable and I had to use my cellphone roaming data. Spoke to the front desk, and after restarting the router and adding more "surgers??" didn't do anything, we were told the hotel was full and we couldn't change rooms, and the manager claimed that this is standard speed for hotel wifi in Paris!? Finally got to change to room 103 on the third night, and the wifi is a bit faster, but there was no hot water even after trying for more than half an hour, and the staff couldn't figure out what was wrong. Changed room again to room 504, which we were told was an "free upgrade," when it's basically the same room as 404 just in a bit nicer condition. Wifi download speed now averaged 3.14mbps but the upload speed was still 0.48mbps and I could barely use it to backup my photos online. And of course there was something wrong with that room as well--the wall blowdryer didn't work and we weren't given a replacement until the next morning. The manager gave us a small bottle of champagne, a box of Ferrero Rocher, refunded one night of stay, and wrote a personal letter as compensation, but it is simply unacceptable to have multiple problems with the most basic hotel services that should be a given.
The hotel offers reasonably priced rooms but there did seem to be several defects which need sorting. The basic buffet breakfast is overpriced at 14 Euro The electronic lock on my friend's room failed but was fixed by the staff.
First trip to Paris. The hotel was neat and the staff were friendly and spoke English. Wifi was a bit slow but I was nackered by the time I got to the hotel :)
The room was small as was the bathroom. The bed comfortable and the room was clean. We were uneasy walking at night in the area but during the day was fine.
Area seems a bit run down and adjoining areas bit unsafe for single traveller at night.
Hotel was great in terms of location, not too far from the city centre and the Eiffel tower. Breakfast outside of the hotel is better, plus with so much choice you won't want to stay in the hotel to eat in the morning. Beds are comfy, bathroom was pretty standard. Front desk were amazing, very friendly and helpful, the locals are a lovely bunch too However the curtains were dusty, white netting curtain was dirty and the general appearance could be better, a little dusty behind doors and under the bed but for a 3* it's not bad, you get what you pay for.
Old fashioned, traditional hotel. Room clean and comfy, but no AC and not much hot water in the shower. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Didn't pay extra for breakfast - lots of local cafes where you can eat for cheaper. Close to metro station, but need to change line to get to most sights. Sacre Coeur close by with amazing views over Paris. As a single person, felt a little uncomfortable in the neighbourhood after dark.
Friendly staff and great location.
Very pleasant ,great personal attention
My experience at this hotel was exceptional, especially because of the best and friendliest staff I've had the pleasure to meet at any hotel I've ever stayed at. A huge bouquet goes out to JF for all his help. He is exceptionally, service oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel itself and rooms are clean and well looked after. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants value and does not mind staying a little farther out in a good immigrant type neighborhood.
The receptionist was very helpful and efficient young lady. The overnight concierge was also helpful and good natured. This hotel offers decent facilities at a fair price. It's preferable to many of the value for money hotel in Paris which are often dirty and unpleasant.
We had an awesome time! Loved the place and the area. The only issue was that our room did not have a ceiling light, only lamps. Besides that, the staff were friendly and the area and place was great!
Good value for money
