Mount Everest Guest Farm

Das Arendscop Chalet liegt ungefähr 2 km entfernt von allen anderen Chalets, erhöht mit Blick über die weite Hochebene. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist grandios. Die Hütte hat drei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad und ein schönes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin. Unsere Kinder haben es geliebt, vor dem Haus auf die Felsen zu klettern. Gemeinsam haben wir Wanderungen auf der Farm und durch die wunderschöne Tugela Gorge unternommen.

The location of the property was amazing, the lodge was clean with great facilities. Our hosts were brilliant and went out of their way to help. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I wish I was able to stay longer, but my schedule would not allow. I can't think of anything I did not like. Go stay if you get a chance.

Everything, the hospitality, is out of this world. Our host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. I am most definitely going back this year. Everything about Mount everest is beautiful and seamless.

Maci, our hostess, was brilliant. Very accommodating and caring. Very friendly staff and lovely location, with brilliant views. Rip, the friendliest bull terrier was awesome!

Loved that it was secluded and private . The property had everything we needed for the weekend. Beds where comfortable with always hot water in the showers . The breeze of fresh aire exactly what we came for,running away from the city life .

Wish it had a better view of the place and surrounding especially from the bedroom. It did not have a pool that's what's missing

Exceeded expectations. Amazing price, very clean and comfortable, good security and Comms from the management, close to Johannesburg for a quick holiday. Absolutely wonderful, will go again

Superb place.

The entire experience from arrival to departure over exceeded our expectations. The view of animals, sun rises and sun sets were stunning ! It is impossible not to relax and unwind while visiting.

There was absolutely nothing that I did not like.

Great location and clean would rate it more if we didn't have water problems.

No water on the morning we left, extractor fan of braai didn't work.

Die Informationen im Vorgeld der Buchung waren perfekt, wir haben die Location gut gefunden und auf dem Hinweg bereits die wunderschöne Landschaft bestaunt. Die Gastgeberin war so nett und hat für unseren kleinen Sohn eine tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit geschaffen. Die Unterkunft an sich sowie die Natur drum herum waren unbeschreiblich besonders. Nachts sahen wir so viele Sternschnuppen wie noch nie.

This is the third time we have stayed here and every time we wish we’re could stay longer. But we always come back.

The roads are a little rough and sometimes tricky.

We loved the location; seeing the zebra moving around the cabin enhanced our enjoyment. The view of beautiful mountains and wild animals added to the experience.

This place is a hidden gem, you get so much value for the price paid. Horses walking around including a pony, various types of bucks etc. and the help is very friendly, especially old Shorty who was always willing to help like delivering my wood to my chalet etc.

This is hard as everything was really great, but maybe the entrance to the chalet as you open the doors to the stairs leading to the loft and have to squeeze your way into the bottom section and if you are tall as me, walking up and down is difficult. I suggest they change the sliding door around so it opens on the right rather than the left...???

I had a wonderful stay, the facilities were comfortable and the staff was attentive and friendly. I appreciate the effort put into making guests feel welcome and at home. I would be happy to recommend your place to other's and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Absolutely everything, from free roaming game to beautiful landscape and excellent service from the staff. We'll surely be coming back for more.

We didn't have hot water on the day of our departure.

The view was so beautiful. To wake up and watch the sunrise, coffee in the hand, was pure bliss. Had a few early visitors, the animals were well fed and healthy.

Super relaxed short stay. We got to see meerkat and the birding was brilliant. Game roam freely between the units. If relaxation is what you need, my only suggestion would be to stay a little longer.

Cabins are quite small, perfect for family of four, bit of a squeeze for four adults.

A beautiful farm stay with super security. We were able to drive around the property and do a game drive. Lots of plains animals and the beautiful mountain that dominated the setting. a super spot for a weekend away only 2 hours from JHB on a very good road. We loved our stay.

That there were wild animals roaming around and even came right up to our bedroom window. That the managers were extremely kind and helpful. The scenery was beautiful.

That they directed us to the wrong chalet and after a long haul up an incline with all our luggage we were told we had to move. But the managers were very apologetic and they did come and move all our stuff for which we were very grateful.

Fantastic location, peaceful and quiet. Great location to relax and experience with only nature can offer. Accommodation was great, comfy beds.

Unfortunately Eskom had an power outage that lasted for 2 days. This was quite frustrating as there were elderly people and a baby in our large group of 12 people.

That we didn't book a longer stay

Firstly the host was very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for that well needed rest away from the city, surrounded by beautiful views. The facilities were clean. The host provided a heater. Self catering friendly. I would rate it a 100 if I could.

Administration and communication from management was excellent. We even received the loadshedding schedule. There was a rechargable lamp for loadshedding. Beautiful views. Beds were comfortable, everything was superficially clean.

Chalet is a bit run down and can also do with thorough cleaning. We did not like that there was no parking next to the chalet. We had to carry our stuff some distance to the chalet. There was also no braai area at the chalet, only a communal braai area, which can also be upgraded. The braai grids were filthy.

The annimals. The cenery. beds were new and clean and comfortable.

I arrived during loadshedding, and I was well received. My access to the place and the room was made easy by Maci. I liked the tranquility of the place, the beauty of nature, and the animals in their natural habitat. The chalet has the necessary equipment for self-catering purposes.

It was a bit inconvenient with the double bed on top and the bathroom on the ground floor.

The view, the game and the linen was clean and comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere! Free WiFi.

Peaceful, well equipped, secure eco cabin in a beautiful location. Well run and very efficient and prompt service by host.

Property had two gates opened and closed by cellphone missed calls, wow! Keys were inside the chalet. Seamless check- in. The chalet had state of the art gadgets. The chalet was cool when it was scotching hot outside.
